"I can't believe we're really up here. This has to be like the…fourth amazing thing I have seen this year. Can it get any better than this, Rae?"
Raven made a subtle brush of her white cloak as she turned to look at Beast Boy, who was wearing white and red(and admittedly more stylish) unform while looking out the window and staring down at the Earth. "Just remember why we're here, Beast Boy. Besides, we've been to outer space before."
Beast Boy turned around, showing he now had two fangs sticking out of his mouth instead of one and that wasn't the only noticeable difference he had since anyone in their universe had last seen him. "But we have never been to the Watchtower, the headquarters of the Justice League. Man, it never stops with us, huh?"
Raven had to admit that Beast Boy likely had a point there.
They had both been through a considerable number of changes and thankfully time had not passed very long for them here in their home universe compared to how long they had actually been gone. The doors opened, meaning they were being called in.
"Come on." Raven turned and gestured for Beast Boy to immediately follow. "Let's get this over with."
Beast Boy immediately followed after her and they walked into the briefing room. Located at the top of the station, it was where the top members of the Justice League would meet to discuss news, strategy and assigning duties along with many other topics.
Today's topic was rather unique.
There was a round table in the center of the room and there sat the top members of the League: Superman, Batman, Wonder-Woman, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, the Flash, Zatanna and Aquaman.
Others were also present but in hologram form while Robin, Starfire and Cyborg were off to the side, having been invited to observe the briefing.
Raven and Beast Boy stopped before the table as the Justice League members watched them, or stared them down in Batman's case. Beast Boy fought the urge to gulp but Raven seemingly sensed his nervousness and stepped forward, deciding to be the one to get the ball rolling.
"Would you both please state your names and place of origin along with your occupation for the record please." Superman began cordially.
"Raven of Azarath, current member of the Teen Titans." Raven answered stoically, glancing to Beast Boy to speak next.
"Beast Boy, from Earth and I'm with the Titans too." Beast Boy said, earning a few dry looks from the table but huffed. "Not that you don't already know who we are."
Robin stiffed while Cyborg just sighed, knowing Beast Boy had no tact when it came to meetings as serious as this.
Superman cleared his throat. "We understand you both vanished for some time. Not as long as here but considerably where you ended up. Both of you changed a great deal from before."
"And one of you seems to be carrying a Class A supergalactic weapon." Green Lantern noted, gesturing to the device on Beast Boy's wrist.
Beast Boy held up his wrist for everyone to see. "Not that I can just take it off. The thing is bonded with my DNA."
"We've heard. Your friend Cyborg was kind enough to send us details of his findings." Superman replied, glancing to Cyborg who briefly nodded. "What we want to know is what happened during your time there and what are the possible repercussions to be expected."
"Then we better start from the beginning." Raven said, choosing to be the one to start.

With Van Kleiss no longer in power, it was a moment for the former Pack members to make their escape using their getaway before they get caught up in the war, better to make their escape and leave the heroes and huntsmen to their fate. Better to escape than face the Fallen now the villains had no desire to face them, especially be captured by this version of the Justice League.
Grodd was more than relieved to be finally free from the restraints, while he owed the human for 'saving' him, but he reminded him too much of Lex Luthor and did not want to imagine the two ever meeting with both their egos and intelligence. At least he was able to save some of the useful data on the Nanites he extracted with Green Goblin's assistance until they can find a way to create their own dimensional portal to make their journey back to their home dimensions. Most of their members that survived or had not been captured by the heroes were badly injured.
"Glad to be out there, wouldn't wanna be in their shoes right now against those monsters." Weather Wizard was relieved to be out of there after a near death experience with one of those hunters.
"Especially this Sammael guy, I'd rather not face such a monster like him." Goldface shuddered upon mentioning the name of that demon in human form, not wanting to face him in person.
"Even so, least we gained new powers thanks to Van Kleiss." The Key stated upon their mutations by the virus with Hellgrammite clatters his mandibles to agree with just a few bruises from his fight. "But no way could we have handled most of those heroes and huntsmen, they're strong as the Justice league. Maybe more."
"While we are finally rid of Van Kleiss, there's still a pressing matter." Grodd reminded them of the important matters. "We still need away back to our reality and the lab be no doubt destroyed." He recalled the loss of Vexus who was destroyed by one of the humans. They may have gained new abilities from their mutations but are not at the same level as the heroes native to this dimension. "Unless we can somehow survive in this reality with more powerful heroes and villains, along with the dimensional gate."
"Then perhaps some assistance is required?"
The villains jumped to the source of the voice, sparks danced across the control panels and shot out, taking on three forms and to the villains' surprise were Van Kleiss' viral creations: Megabyte, Hexadecimal and the Phantom Virus.
"You! What are you doing here?" Piedmon did not expect to find the Viruses on board the ship.
"They must have snuck onboard to capture us." Parasite thought out, knowing they were some of Van Kleiss' creations and were loyal to him.
"On the contrary my friends, it is the opposite. Now that our 'father', how should I say… departed. We have no alternatives but to avoid deletion and survive." Megabyte stated.
"And you guys came running to us? Like we believe that." Goldface didn't seem to buy it. "And where was your pal when we were fighting?" He was pointing at Phantom Virus who was mostly absent from the battle.
The Phantom Virus glared at the villain, wanting to blast him with a thousand bolts, only to remain silent when Megabyte held his hand out in front of him from doing so. "Actually, he was collecting valuable data to ensure they were in safe hands and something I believe you would need. The blueprints for dimensional travel and the knowledge of the Nanite technology."
While the intelligent and mutated Gorilla was intrigued by this, he was not sure they could be trusted. "How do we know that you can be trusted."
"Simple. You don't. We have a common foe of which be better to work as partners if we are to survive the greater threat that comes to our worlds." Megabyte slowly reached his hand out to Grodd, remaining still and waiting for his response. "A truce?"
Grodd took a moment of thought until he gave his answer by grasping the virus' as a gesture of accepting his offer.
"Pity, I was hoping we have some bit of fun." Hexadecimal pouted, until her face/mask shifted to a sinister snarl. "But I like this!"

The soldiers continued firing at the Grimm as they put their priorities of keeping them from taking another step further. Even with the civilians evacuated safely, there was still a matter to deal with the horde and most of all machines and possible villains sighted. Despite their efforts of taking down each Grimm, two or three took its place, even the military fleet was wiped out by a cannon.
The Grimm were cornering them in the abandoned town and circling around them to make their attack.
A swarm of Ravagers and Lancers flew around them, the Bat Grimm swooped down to corner their prey, snarling as they were joined by the Ursa and Sphinxes to join them.
"There's too many of them!"
"I never seen so many Grimm in my life."
"I don't think we'll get out of this."
"Suck it up! We knew what we signed up for and done our duty!" One of their squad members yelled, knowing they did their part of saving the civilians and hoping to make a difference for the Hunters to do their duty.
Setting their weapons loaded to take out many as they can before the Grimm could. Thinking of their loved ones and families back home when they believe they won't be going home to see them.
However, luck was on their side when multiple blue portals appeared all around them, drawing both sides of their attention. Several shots were fired and aimed at some of the Grimm, some directly at their heads for a direction shot. Others that avoided them such as a Chimera was struck by a large orange furred fist collided into the jaw section and exploded by a golden blast. The fist beloved to North as he stepped out of the portal to see they managed to save some soldiers.
"Is this all of you?" North asked them.
"Yes, there are others as well and helped with the evacuation." A soldier answered, appreciating their timely arrival.
Bursting out of a fallen building, a Deathstalker stampedes towards the survivors and their saviours with the intention of crushing them,

Before it could come within reach of its pincers or stinger, the Scorpio Grimm suddenly stopped and was now split into two, evaporating and stood by its fading corpse was Ross, swinging his katana after slaying the large Grimm. He did not stop there and moved so swift and fast, slashing, and cutting down many Grimm who tried to attack him.
Another was Skips emerging to bring down his fists into its back and taking a few more. "Get into the portals! We'll handle them." The Yeti tapoed into his ear. "Mordecai, Yara, we're almost done, but need cover over here!"
From another part of the town, Mordecai equipped with black armor and with a sniper rifle in his hand, took multiple shots into the portals created by Yara. "On it. Where's Muscle Man?"
"You want a piece of Muscle Man? Bring it! Bring the biggest one you got for Muscle Man." The green skinned muscular…man bellowed to the hoard of approaching Grimm.
"Uhhh... Muscle man?" Rigby said behind him.
"What? What are you ladies staring at?" Muscle Man turned around and then followed the direction Rigby's finger was pointed, showing him the multi headed Grimm and vast number of Grimm and robots. "...oh."

"Mary Jane!" Spider-Man cried out as he slammed into the ground.
The Green Goblin grinned from ear to ear as his nemesis was pinned down. "Hold him down." The Goblin commanded the symbiote as he raised a red glowing Mayhem. "I would have waited an eternity for this." The Green Goblin held his sword over Spider-Man's head. "It's over, Parker."
CLASH!
Suddenly something blocked the Goblin's sword as he brought it down on Spider-Man. "What?!"
Raven in her white cloak had appeared, saving Spider-Man at the last second, her eyes glowing white and narrowed at the sight of the Goblin's sword. "That sword…"
"So, Van Kleiss and the others failed to finish you off." Goblin scoffed but smiled. "No matter. I'll make this quick."

Goblin dashed forward, swinging his cursed blade at Raven who conjured a black energy wall to block the sword.
Mayday, mayday
She lowered the wall and started blasting the Green Goblin with black energy bolts. To his credit, the Green Goblin stood his ground, spinning Mayhem in one hand and blocking the energy bolts.
The ship is slowly sinking
Spider-Man leapt in, engaging the Green Goblin in combat again with him and Raven dashing around the Goblin and attacking with webbing and energy bolts.
They think I'm crazy but they don't know the feeling
The Green Goblin blocked and dodged their attacks, seemingly becoming stronger as he swung his sword, releasing larger arcs of blood red energy.

They're all around me circling like vultures
Raven blocked each attack with an energy shield projected from her hands, dodging when the Goblin got in close.
They wanna break me and wash away my colors
Goblin grunting, spinning his sword above his head and summoning a large orb of red energy.
Wash away my colors
"Enough!" Raven called out; her form engulfed in black energy.
Take me high and I'll sing
The energy took the form of a raven, flying at the Goblin as he launched the red energy orb.

The raven bypassed the energy orb easily, causing the Goblin's eyes to widen. The raven slammed into him, spreading dark energy all over his body.

Raven held out one hand, lifting the Goblin off the ground.

She then slammed the Goblin into the ground and then into walls, several times before she released him and sent him flying back.
Save me if I become my demons
The Goblin swung Mayhem down, releasing an energy blast that sent him flying back at Raven with an enraged roar.
I cannot stop this sickness taking over
He swung his sword down on her, but she caught it, using both hands covered in dark energy.
It takes control and drags me into nowhere
She could feel the dark, demonic energy circling in the sword that was calling out for blood…
Her blood.
I need your help, I can't fight this forever
"Azarath," She uttered as the Goblin pushed the sword down.
I know you're watching; I can feel you out there
"Metrion," She fell onto one knee, struggling to keep the sword from touching her head.

"ZINTHOS!"
BOOM!
She let out an explosion of dark energy that sent the Goblin flying back and crashing into the wall. Mayhem fell out of his hand and onto the ground, emitting a deadly red glow.

A red mist emerged from the sword and lunged towards the Goblin as he struggled to get up. Only by intervention from Raven in the form of an energy shield surrounding the Goblin, was he spared from the curse of his own weapon.

Raven grunted, feeling the sword's power pushing against her own. The red mist turned away from the Goblin and lunged at her next.

"No you don't!" Spider-Man swung in, grabbing Raven and swung away just in time. "What is that all about?"
Save me if I become my demons
"His sword carries a deadly curse. It has to kill someone in a certain amount of time or it will kill the owner." Raven answered, detangling herself from the web-head and taking flight.
Take me over the walls below
"It what?!" Spider-Man looked down at the Goblin as he managed to get back on his feet. "Norman, what did you do?"
Fly forever, don't let me go
The Goblin snarled and lunged for the sword, picking it up and swung it…
I need a savior to heal my pain
But not at Spider-Man or Raven.
Instead, he slashed through several symbiote eggs that caused the Symbiote possessing Mary Jane to howl.
When I become my worst enemy
The sword glowed even bright while the Green Goblin grinned up at the pair. "Now, I've bought myself some time."

Raven narrowed her eyes. "He killed them to buy himself time from the curse."

"We got to do something and quickly. He's a maniac but also the father of my best friend. I can't let him die." Spider-Man quickly said, latching onto the wall next to Raven. "I have to save him and Mary Jane."

"The symbiotes are easier than you think. Their primary weaknesses are sound and fire." Spider-Man quickly said. "If we can make enough noise, we can weaken and contain them all."

"And him?" Raven asked as the Goblin slowly walked in their direction.
"Still drawing a blank sadly." Spider-Man answered.

The Green Goblin cackled as he held up Mayhem. "You think this sword's curse will be my downfall? There are no limits to how many I can kill to satisfy its bloodlust. And I won't stop until I've run it through your head, Parker!"

The Goblin roared as he moved to swing his sword…Not noticing the Queen Symbiote infecting Mary Jane lunge at him. "RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

"WHA-?!" The Goblin barely had time to react as he was slammed into the ground by the symbiote queen. "What are you-?!"

Spider-Man and Raven were greeted with the surprising sight of the Symbiote possessing Mary Jane attacking the Green Goblin. With one final slam, the Queen Symbiote raised one hand that formed into a very sharp lance.

"Mary Jane, no!" Spider-Man lashed out with web, catching the lance before it could stab the Goblin through his chest.

Raven summoned her magic, engulfing the pair and separating them, slamming them into separate walls.

"We have to free them both." Raven said as she floated down to the ground.
"How?" Spider-Man looked at her.

"By this…Azarath, Metrion, Zinthos!" Raven shouted, her eyes glowing white.
Her form was engulfed by dark energy the changed into a giant raven and it flew at the pair, engulfing them.

Spider-Man could only watch as the Goblin and the Symbiote screeched in possible agony but he had to trust that Raven knew what she was doing.

"I AM THE GREEN GOBLIN!" The Goblin howled before his voice changed. "No, you are a monster! You took me from my son!"
"Norman!" Spider-Man called out to the Goblin who looked back at him with a fearful face.
"Peter, don't let it take me again!" The Goblin, Norman Osborn cried out fear.
At the same time, the Symbiote covering Mary Jane let out a screech before it was forced to release her, slithering down her body and onto the ground.

"Mary Jane!" Spider-Man called out as Raven retracted her magic.

Both Mary Jane and the Green Goblin, who was hopefully Norman Osborn again fell to the ground and groaned as they fell into blissful unconsciousness.
"Did it work?" Spider-Man anxiously asked Raven as he moved over to Mary Jane, kneeling down next to her.
Raven opened her eyes and sighed. "Mostly, I managed to help her overcome the alien but we have to get rid of that sword. My magic helped Osborn suppress the Goblin but we need to find a cure for him or the Goblin will return."
"I might know how." Spider-Man said as he lifted Mary Jane up in his arms. "I studied the formula that transformed Norman into the Green Goblin. I think I can make a cure."
