When Goodshow announced to the other Champions Alola has a new champion, they expected to be an experienced trainer like them. They didn't expect it to be the chaotic wanderer with a lot of potential to be it. Join Ash as he goes on misadventures with the other champions as they help him adjust to the role of champion of Alola while Ash helps them out in his own chaotic way.

14. Omake: Upgrade

"Oh hey, Professor Oak!"

Ash had met up Prof. Oak as he landed back in Kanto, who told him he needed to do something.

"Ah, Ash my boy! Good to see you! I've just came to tell you something!" He said with a grandfatherly grin.

"Oh? What is it?" Ash asked.

"Can you hand over your Trainer Licence, please?" He asked, holding a hand out.

Ash handed it over to the old man, who proceeded to slot it into a machine. A few seconds later, it popped out and the machine spoke in a deadpanned, automatic voice.

"Trainer card upgraded to Champion Level. You can now carry up to 12 Pokémon."

"Woah, really?!" Ash asked with a wide smile.

"That's right. Now you are champion class, you can hold more Pokémon for your journeys. Since Galar has 10 gyms, think of it as a congratulatory present for you." He said.

"Alright! And I think I have an idea on who to bring." Ash said as he looked at all of his Pokémon in the fields.
