The time has come for the first meeting Ace was the first to show up, as she is setting up she hears the door open. She turns with a smile hoping the first to show was a certain someone. She sees someone she hasn't seen in decades. "Is this the companion support group? I brought a veggie tray."

"Only one person with curly red hair would bring that, hello Donut." Ace says with a small smile slightly deflated that it wasn't Graham.

"Hello Ace," Mel walks up to her and brings her in a tight hug. "I take it even though you look happy to see me there was someone else you wanted to see first." Ace smiles a little bit, but stops just as quickly. Mel, remembering a few things from her interaction with the younger woman years ago knows what is going on.

"Point them out when they get here."

"What?" Ace's phone goes off with a text, "one sec Mel."

'Coming with Dan, it seems Yaz gave him my number. Sorry. Was looking forward to setting up with you.'

"From that smile to furrowed brow I assume it was from the person you like."

"Am I that easy to read? Someone who hasn't seen me since I was a teen automatically can tell I like someone." Ace hadn't noticed that Tegan had walked in at that point with a woman with straight hair.

"Is Ace finally admitting she likes Graham."

"TEGAN." Ace's eyes go wide. Kate is walking in behind Tegan and Jo.

"How lovely, new love." Jo says. Ace looks to the door wanting to run as an older man comes in.

"Hello," he walks in with someone who is similar to his own.

"Ok, Dad I will be back in 2 hours."

"Thank you, Susan," the middle aged woman smiles at her dad and walks out, knowing who she is named after, she is ok to leave her aging father with a group of people. She swears she recognizes one of them and shakes it off.

10 minutes later Mel is chatting the ear off Ian who is smiling at the younger woman as the door opens. Ace looks up as Graham announces, "we have THE most recent companion now. She somehow didn't get her invite but ended up here right as Dan and I arrived." Ace walks up as Kate tries and gets the meeting started. Tegan and Ace each grab one of Yaz's arms and set her in between them. Minus the time Ace asked Yaz how the Doctor was doing, both Graham and Ace kept sneaking glances at the other.

"So I guess I should say something now. Some of you know about my love of a certain bat. The bat isn't my first one. The first one the Professor, or as most of you call the reason why we are here, the Doctor, or for one of you," she smiles at Graham, "the Doc," not only gave me the first one when I met the Daleks for the first time, he also destroyed it. What no one knows, the day I reached my first billion there was the one I currently have sitting on my porch. I picked it up and remembered the charge I felt all those years ago in 1963. Graham."

"What?" She pursed her lips at him.

"Wait," Ian starts to speak, "where was it at, that you first met the Daleks."

"Right by a school."

"What was the name?"

"It was Coal Hill. Daleks do love that school, because in 2016 I went back there and met a teacher and a student. The student got sent back in time. I guess my time in the TARDIS made me time sensitive, because this was not the first time my memory changed and remembered something different from what actually happened. I do hope it was the last."

"I can say the Master never hurt me, I guess after he tried to brainwash me and it didn't work we had an understanding."

"Wait a go Jo," Tegan cheers for her nomad friend.

"One of the Master's regenerations stole Nyssa's father's face."

"How is she?"

"She is doing pretty well, Neeka wanted her help setting up her new office."

"That's cool." A few hours later everyone is cleaning up, Ace and Graham are in the center of the room putting away chairs quietly talking.

Yaz walks up to Tegan, "what is up with those two?"

"For the past month they have been flirting whenever they see each other. Which according to Nyssa who works with Ace, has been almost every day. I am sure Ryan may know something."

"Is Ryan home?"

"From my understanding not yet." They hear Graham's phone goes off.

"It's time isn't it."

"Yep, time for Ryan's call, Yaz do you want to give him a shock by answering?"

"You know there are other people here," she teases as she walks up to the now blushing duo and takes Graham's phone from him as Ace and Graham avoid eye contact.

"So for once I am home and now staying home and you are not here."

"You left the Doctor Yaz?"

"I did, we felt it was time, as she was about to regenerate."

"I am sorry to hear that. Tell me did Graham finally make a move on Ace?"

"Not from what I can see."

"I will call you later Yaz, but hand me to him please." Yaz hands over the phone to Graham who is still trying to avoid eye contact with Ace and people start to filter out of the room until Ace, Graham, Dan and Yaz are the only ones left. "Ask her out."

"Ryan?"

"Just from our phone calls from the past month, I can tell that you are so much happier and I think Ace is the reason for your happiness."

Graham looks over at Ace who is standing off to the side talking to Yaz. "You're right, she is. When are you coming home?"

"Soon, now walk over to the woman who you seem to talk about everytime we talk."

"I don't talk about her that much."

"You are denying the truth, Grandad, I am going to go now." Graham hears the click of the phone and walks over to the two women while Dan is waiting for Graham.

"How was your talk to Ryan?"

"It was good, he said he is coming home soon."

"I can't wait to meet him."

"He's looking forward to meeting you too," they smile at the other as Yaz looks between the two.

"How long have you two been together?"

"What do you mean Yaz?"

"Come off it Graham, the way the two of you have been acting tonight and I am sure even before just reeks of a relationship."

Ace and Graham in unison, "I, we, I, we."

"Can you two figure this out later, I have a date." Dan says.

"Come on, let's get him to his date faster, everyone come with me to my car." Ace takes Yaz's arm as the two guys follow behind. Dan follows Graham's line of sight.

"Tell her how you feel."

"What do you mean?"

"You like her." Graham stops for a second hearing it for the third time that night.

"Oi, slow pokes hurry up." Ace shouts over her shoulder. Everyone gets in the car and gets Dan to his date on time.
