The next morning Graham is waking up when there is a knock on the door, opening it quietly he sees Ace, "you look like shit."

"Thank you Dear."

"When did you go to bed?" She asks him worried about him.

"I don't know after we hung up Yaz was asleep; I helped Ryan pack," he steps aside to see Ace has some coffee and a bag.

"Packing?"

"Kate asked him to go away on assignment."

"Where?"

"We don't know."

Ace leans up to give him a small kiss, "I'm sorry, I know how much you hate when he is gone."

"What matters most is his happiness."

"Yours too."

"You know since October I have been happier everyday."

Yaz is waking up, "please keep the flirting on the dl today."

"DL," Graham asks.

"Downlow, it means please don't flirt too much today." Ace moves closer to Yaz.

"How are you doing Sweetie?"

"Ok."

Graham sits down across from Yaz next to Ace on the coffee table. "I was thinking while your family is at church, we would help you pack some stuff, so you can have it."

"What Graham didn't say is that you are staying with me. If you want to."

"I don't really want to stay here, sorry Graham."

"Your happiness is important."

Ryan comes out of his bedroom yawning. "Morning everyone." He sees Ace and Graham first and how they are sitting on the coffee table hip touching hip.

"There is some coffee for you Ryan, well coffee and donuts for all of us." Ace smiles.

"My family should be going to church anytime." Yaz informs them.

"Then let's eat real quick then head over."

"You and Graham are perfect for each other." Ace looks at the man who reaches behind her for the bag to get some donuts. He smiles at her as he takes a big bite out of the donut.

Ryan looks at them, "I am glad I am leaving tomorrow for who knows how long, so I won't see too much of the honeymoon phase."

"How about we eat quickly and not tease right now, we can save that for later for a nice dinner at my place. I just have to pick up a few things."

"You don't need to do that Ace."

"Someone in this family is about to go away for an undetermined amount of time and someone else needs a pick me up. I say this is deserved." Ace smiles at all of them before taking a donut herself and quickly eats it.

Within 20 minutes the four of them head to Yaz's parents place and help Yaz pack a bag, "you two to the closet." Yaz tells them as she and Ace go to her dresser.

"Yaz?"

"Yes Ace?"

"How are you doing really?"

"Not good, I just wish there was a way I can disappear again."

"Well, you will be safe at my place."

"I know. I am glad they don't know where I work."

"What do they think you do?"

"They think I got my police job back."

"Do you know my history with the police?"

"No."

"Remind me to tell you later."

"Ok," they continue packing, when they are taking two cars, so that Ryan and Graham can get home later. After dropping off Yaz and Ryan with an order for Yaz to get comfortable and unpack Ace and Graham head off to the local grocer.

"So you are going to be alone at your flat again."

"This time I will have someone to call every night."

"You did near the end of the last time."

"I know, but this time I am talking to my girlfriend, not someone I am just interested in."

"You can come by anytime you want, Graham. As long as you are interested."

"I can promise you I will remain interested in you for ages."

"Good," they pull into a parking place, before Ace exits the car she brings Graham in for a kiss, "I feel like I will remain interested in you for just as long."

In the store together Ace grabs a small basket and Graham's hand with her other hand. Few people in the store stop and stare when Dorothy McShane seems to be grocery shopping holding hands with the same bloke that others are curious to know what his name is. "Graham?"

"Yes?"

"Please grab that tomato." He grabs it and they continue shopping, Graham grabbing everything else she asks him to grab, they go and pay and head back to Ace's place.

"We're back," Ace announces.

Ryan meets them in the entryway seeing both of them carrying a bag. "Yaz is on the phone with her parents." Ryan steps in front of the both of them as they both start to move forward. "You should probably let her be while she's talking to them."

"No, I am with people who love me for what makes me, me. I know I left last night and came back while you were at church. Does that surprise you?" Ace and Graham want to help their young friend, but Ryan has them sit down. "We work together, and no I don't work for the police anymore, so good luck finding where I work." Yaz hangs up the phone and heads out of the room to find Ace and Graham wanting to get up.

"Yaz," Graham says as he sees her.

"Ace, thank you for letting me stay here."

"No need to thank me for that, we are a family of sorts."

"I do, you didn't have to take me in."

"I wanted to." They share a small smile a few hours later Ace and Graham start dinner.

"This seems very domestic Yaz doesn't it?"

"It does, your Grandad and his girlfriend. Though you won't be seeing them for a while."

"I am just not a fan of watching anyone in the honeymoon phase of their relationship."

"Is it weird for you?"

"Not really, they don't do anything except flirt in front of me, though that might be the case with you, you will be staying here."

"I won't mind seeing them kiss, you know last night I saw them kissing at her car. They seemed really happy."

"We are," Ace comes into the room, "dinner will be ready in 20 minutes. Graham is just putting it into the oven. Graham enters behind her and rests one arm around her waist.

"See what I mean Yaz?"

"What?"

"She will see, the two of you are lovey dovey."

"I don't mind it, I grew up around it."

"Your parents are still like that?"

"They are. It was with my Nan they were arguing with last night."

"Nans are the best."

"They are, I met my Nan during my travels with the Doctor."

"How old was she?" Yaz asks, Graham already knows the story, brings them to a chair and has Ace sit in his lap.

"She just had my mum."

"So young," Yaz again asks.

"Very, but I was 17 or 18 at that point. I created my own future that day. It was what probably helped my Nan and I have such a wonderful relationship with her."

"You are wonderful Ace." Graham tells the woman in his lap.

"You're not so bad yourself, Graham." she smiles at the man who is capturing her heart. After they eat Ryan heads out to the car first and Yaz goes to the room she is staying in. "I think they gave us some privacy to say our goodbyes."

"Then let's take advantage of it," Graham moves close to Ace, wraps his arms around her and brings their lips together. The kiss grows deeper and they continue to stand there in their embrace. A bit later they break, "I will see you tomorrow."

"Yes, you will." Ace pecks him on the lips. "Call me when you get home?"

"I will." They say their final goodbyes.
