A/N: As I told you, it took me a long time. Less than I expected, but a lot. This year I am bitter about university, I practically never rest. Weekends are not weekends, they are the days when I have more time to work.

I hope you like this chapter.

Thanks to Katherine.

"I have to give you terrible news." says Bustier.

We're going to have to make another movie by the end of the school year. It's good that they notify us so soon, so we save ourselves the humiliation of projecting something done in a week.

"Mr. Martin has died."

Oh yes, it's true. That headless corpse in a pool of blood that I found and that my best friend had killed. I almost forgot.

The reaction of the people is immediate and they all speak at the same time.

"In a few days we will hold an event in his honor. I know that some of you were his students. Some students are allowed to speak in memory of him."

Bustier looks at us. He only taught us for a month, it's difficult for anyone to get attached to him. That's without taking into account the worst part of him, there may be students who don't care.

"I understand, I had been here for very little time. Until they find a replacement, you won't have physical education class."

There is a moment of awkward silence until she begins to teach.

It's been a few days since the police came, a few days since we decided to find the guard. More than a week since the teacher's death.

And I still haven't given his gift to Nathanael. It will happen today. It's in my locker, crumpling a little.

I know that not giving Nathanael a gift is not the most important thing in my life right now, but it is the easiest thing to solve.

At lunchtime, Adrien comes with us and has a boring conversation with Kagami about fencing. The conversation is a bit uncomfortable, it seems like they are avoiding talking about something, they don't even say anything about the bombshell that Bustier dropped this morning. Bombshell for Adrien, of course.

Alix is thoughtful and depressed. For once she is not watching as Kim sticks his tongue down her girlfriend's throat and, instead of him, she looks at her lap.

She has been hiding it well these days, but it seems that today has affected her. I don't know how, she already knew he was dead.

Normally I would pass on it, but united accomplices better maintain the lie of the crime.

It's not that I have ever committed any, but I have been questioned about cases of political corruption.

I decide to leave the duo uncomfortable and motion for Alix to follow me to a quieter place. No, not the bathroom.

I think we should go to an empty class.

Once we find one and we get in, we talk.

"What's the matter?"

She stares at me.

"Nothing."

She is clearly lying, again. She always likes to keep things to herself. But, unfortunately for her, I'm involved in this and I'm not going to let her keep it to herself.

She's been a pain to me for quite some time and now I'm going to be a pain in the ass.

"I am not stupid. You've been trying to hide it but you can't, Nathanael has noticed. And now you don't even try."

She frowns.

"What do you want me to say? That I'm angry because they're going to give him a damn tribute? Of course I am."

"I will tell my father to cancel it, that I was the one who found the body and I am traumatized."

She shakes her head.

"You're not supposed to know who he was. No. I want to sabotage it, so that no one is able to cry for "poor teacher Martin."" She says in an aggressive tone.

It is completely logical that she is angry. I'm also dealing with it. Someone talks about someone who has hurt me as if they were a great person. I know very well the anger she feels. I haven't found a way to do justice, but if she can do something...

"If you need help let me know."

She nods.

"Can we stop the deep conversation now? I don't really want to talk about this with you, just like you don't want to talk about your bulimia with me."

"I understand, but this is something we are all involved in. Now let's go back, I have to give Nathanael his gift."

"What? Are you going to leave me alone with those two? How mean!"

From her tone I know it's a joke. She's joking with me. We're pretty good.

"Oh no! I'm a horrible person!"

I leave her with them and go to my locker to get the gift.

He'll like it right? It is art material.

I find him where I already know he spends his breaks, in the art classroom.

Unfortunately, he is not alone. He's with that brat. They talk happily about something. When I come in they fell silent.

"Hello."

They seem uncomfortable.

"Hello."

It doesn't matter. I walk over and place the bag with my gift in the space between them. So, I cover the brat's face with something of mine.

Nathanael looks at me, a question in his eyes.

"It's a gift."

But the confusion does not go away.

"For your birthday. I know I screwed up and it's not enough to make up for it, but at least I wanted to do something."

He shakes his head.

"I want to do it. And I'm not going to stay with that again. It's yours."

He resigns himself and looks in the bag. He begins to take out the wide variety of boxes of chalk, the huge blackboard, and that gigantic roll of thick, dark paper that comes in handy for drawing with chalk.

He is confused again.

"Why did you akumatize him?" asks the brat. Wasn't he supposed to be a shy boy?

That makes Nathanael look from one to the other.

"It's none of your business. It has nothing to do with you."

Nathanael goes to talk about his gift when the brat speaks again.

"I was also akumatized because of you. Nathanael thought I was making fun of him, like you did."

Is that what happened?

So it's my fault, completely. I hate that the brat is right.

I'm bad.

"I would also like to know." says Nathanael. He is not as aggressive as the brat.

"If I tell you, it won't be in front of him. Well, do you like the gift?"

"Yes. It's very good."

It doesn't seem like that.

"If you want something else, tell me. I saw that your drawings were only in pencil and I thought you would want more material."

I know that his drawings are mostly in pencil and that he needs more material.

"I will buy you everything you want, even the entire store. I have plenty of money."

Nathanael frowns.

"OK. Thank you."

His tone is at the end of the conversation. He removes the bag from the table.

What have I done wrong?

I don't understand what's going on, but I have nothing more to do here. I give the brat a warning look to make it clear that I'm not going to give up and I leave.

The recess hasn't finished yet, so I return to the group. I'm sure the situation for Alix will be uncomfortable, for more reasons than one. I'm going to be good and save her from that.

When I get to the bench where we were, I find that the three of them are not alone. Kim the retarded and his horny girlfriend are there. Seriously, they are so unpleasant to look at. I don't know how the dwarf can look at them so much.

I don't know why they're here, but from the look on the girlfriend's face, they must have come to visit Alix.

"And what for me if I win?" she is asking.

"Free gum?" Kim doesn't seem very convinced.

I sit on the bench next to Adrien. They don't pay much attention to me.

"That's very weak, Hercules. You have to make a better offer."

Are they doing some kind of exchange?

"What's happening here?" I say in a slightly low voice.

"Kim has challenged Alix to see who of the two can make a bigger bubble gum."

"Weren't the challenges supposed to be over?"

"It seems that not for the two of them."

Of course, Alix is more cheerful than she was a moment ago.

"I know! If I win, you give me your sweatshirt. I'm cold." she proposes.

Kim frowns. Then he puts on that little smile.

"It doesn't matter. I'm going to win. And you'll have to eat my gum."

But what kind of prize is that? None, of course. It's just a punishment. He licked an ice cream cone before giving it to her. She ate it with all the normality in the world. Seriously, giving her that punishment is stupid, but Kim has thought about it, so it's not a surprise.

I look at the girlfriend. What a face she has! If they akumatized her now I wouldn't be surprised. I don't think either of them noticed her expression, with the intense way they look at each other. If looks could kill...

I completely understand that she hates her.

They both smile a lot and make the deal.

"Someone has to be the impartial judge." says Kim. "Adrien. It can't be Ondine because she is my girlfriend and Kagami is Alix's friend."

And I don't exist, apparently.

Adrien stands up and plays his role as judge as the two start with bubblegum bubbles. This is so childish.

"Where have you gone?"

Ah?

Of course, she was going to realize that I left without telling her anything.

"To give Nathanael a gift." I whisper. It hasn't gone as well as I would like.

She nods.

Alix's gum explodes. She has lost.

Kim gives the gum to Alix, well, more like he puts it in her mouth like it was nothing. This is pretty awkward, like Kagami and Adrien, only much worse.

Kim looks very triumphant.

"You know I don't care about it, right? I've had your saliva in my mouth before."

At this, the girlfriend leaves. The stupid man looks from one to the other and follows her.

The show is over.

Seriously, if Nathanael did something like that to me, I wouldn't even try to get along with him. I would tell him to go to hell. Luckily, Nathanael is perfect. But retarded Kim is going to be left without a girlfriend.

And Alix, who is supposed to be so smart, does she really not realize?

Adrien looks at her very surprised. Yeah, she turned him down for that one. She is crazy.

Kagami looks out of the huge glass window.

I am writing on a piece of hard cardboard.

"Impediment for Audrey Bourgeois"

It was Kagami's idea. I've tried telling her no, but it hasn't worked.

"Do not put that face. We're going to do it whether you want to or not." says Alix. She's not supposed to care about me. "Actually, I think it's a fantastic idea. For once, someone other than me has had a good idea."

"Stop crowing over, will you?"

Kagami approaches us.

"You have done it already?"

I show her the poster.

"Good. First of all, I want you to know that if your mother ever does anything to you again... my house is open to you."

I don't know what to say. I wanted to downplay this, at least in front of the others. I don't want to be seen as a pathetic person. I want to be able to do things for myself.

But when she says that, I feel good, much better. I feel relieved. I feel loved. Not because I am Queen Bee, the heroine and savior of Paris; but for being Chloe, the mayor's hated daughter.

"I know you have pride, but I swallow my pride for the people I care about." says Kagami.

Alix nods.

"Yes I agree. You can come to either of the two's houses. You and I may have had problems in the past, but that's in the past."

I want to smile. I have the friends I wanted. I have Polen, the two of them and I have Adrien back. I'm getting closer to Nathanael.

It seems that the dark stage that Marionette and my mother have put me through is over.

Now I am strong and I am not alone.

I smile, Alix too, and Kagami looks at the two of us blankly.

We're about to start using human magic when we hear people screaming on the street.

Kagami frowns. A moment ago she was looking outside.

"It looks like it's an akuma." says Alix.

The kwamis, who as usual, are standing aside talking in a corner, approach us.

"I'll help you finish that spell later." declares Pollen.

The three of us transform and go through Alix's portal.

She does what she always does. Although she doesn't say anything.

We appear on a roof in an area close to home. As we have heard before, people scream and run. I can clearly see one of those geeks with ridiculous clothes and an unnatural range of colors. He's lifting people into the air, rummaging through their clothes, and then throwing them away like a doll.

People fall to the ground in any way, in strange positions that tell me they have broken bones.

What is he doing? There are objects floating around him. Is it jewelry and money?

There are some police officers, but he blows them away like it was nothing.

Alix doesn't move. Kagami goes to jump, but she stops her.

"What's happening?"

"Someone else is coming. We have to talk to him."

What? How is someone else coming? Hawk Moth?

I don't have to wait long when a boy who looks our age. How do I know it's him? Because he is blue.

He wears a long, elegant coat, his long hair tied in a low ponytail. His skin is blue and his eyes are purple. A mask covers practically his entire face. In his hand he carries a fan, just like the brooch on his chest.

He looks like us. Volpina did it too.

"What are you doing still there?" asks the boy. His voice is a little high-pitched.

"Wait for you." Alix answers.

If he's surprised, he doesn't show it.

"I couldn't expect less from you."

"Who are you?" Kagami asks.

"An akuma, like Volpina." I respond.

When I talk, he looks at me. He hasn't done it until now. There is something, something in his eyes that is strange.

"The akuma is there." he points to the thief. "I am a holder, like you."

A holder?

I look at Kagami. I think she thinks the same as me. Is it possible that the guardian has sought extra help from us? With what is coming.

"Have you come to help us?"

His expression changes. He wrinkles his nose.

"No."

What?

Before we can react, we see a huge bird approaching us.

Kagami pulls the sword out of her and the bird grabs it and carries her away.

"Sorry, it likes shiny things."

Alix and I look at each other and then at the bird. It flies with difficulty, as if the wind were pushing it. Kagami is fine.

Alix starts running in the direction of the akuma.

"Take care of him."

Shit. This is going to be much more difficult.

I spin my spinning top. If I can tie him up completely, I will be able to take the miracle off of him.

I guess this is what the "Akuma Fraternity" was referring to. How many miracles are there?

He puts his fan in the middle, so that the wire wraps around the object and not him. Now my spinning top is tangled and useless. I throw it to the side. It will have to be unarmed and powerless.

I'm sure he thinks I'm at a disadvantage. On average, boys are stronger than us girls. What he doesn't know is that I do gymnastics.

I get closer and try to do a side kick. I hit him, and even though he looks pained, he catches my leg.

He pulls it and lets me fall to the ground. He approaches me without letting go of my leg and I kick him in the torso with the other leg. He can't get a good grip of the second one and he falls to the ground.

I get up and approach him, but he rolls to the side and gets up.

He makes me believe that we are going to continue fighting, but instead he jumps from the roof to the street.

The street is deserted, except for the wounded who cannot get up. This is what usually happens when an akuma attacks people, especially after so many people have moved from Paris to other cities.

Before I go after him, I pick up my weapon. I can try to remove the knot while I reach for him.

I jump off the roof and follow him. Just because I stopped to pick up the spinning top, it's quite far away.

I run after him, untangling the cable. What is this fan for? It certainly doesn't look like a weapon to fight with.

He passes by the akuma and Alix, who attacks him from a distance through a portal. From experience, I know that those kinds of portals don't let you see anything, only white.

The akuma does not attack him, they are allies. I don't have the same luck. The moment I enter his field of vision, I am sent flying through the air until I crash into a building and fall to the ground. Because of the magic in the attack, my back itches.

I raise my head. Now I don't see the holder. I don't think he ran away from me, right? He would be a very bad assistant to Hawk Moth if he runs away from the girl from whom he has to take the miracle.

I start to get up, but something else falls on top of me and pins me to the ground.

Whatever goes to my head. Quickly, I cover my miracle with both hands.

"You have lost."

It's the holder.

"I thought you had run away like a coward."

He stops straining for a moment.

"I am not a coward."

It's just what I needed to gain strength and get it off my back. Sooner or later I win.

I had lost confidence because of Marionette, but my confidence has returned and I plan to take revenge. I'm going to beat Marionette, I'm going to beat Hawk Moth, I'm going to make my mother see that I'm not useless and not accept her when she apologizes. I'm going to get it all.

"I'm not going to lose to you, terrorist scum."

It seems that this affects him. He has tried to give the image of being strong, but he is not.

Suddenly, there is a pile of feathers, from the giant bird, and Kagami regains her form along with us. She stabs the monster with her sword in a millisecond.

The bird leaves as quickly as it came, only the boy is gone. Their flight is irregular, but safe enough for them to flee.

Kagami looks at them. She still has the lightning dragon and the water dragon.

She doesn't use the lightning one, I think because that could kill the boy.

We both look for Alix with our eyes. She's done. She is talking to a confused teenager.

Kagami points to the injured people on the street.

"Let's take them to a hospital." She says.

It's night and I can't believe how many things have happened today.

I transform in my suite. The girls have gone home. I have to finish my spell alone. Well, Pollen told me that she would help me, but I don't think kwami magic can be used that way.

I look for the poster where I thought I had left it, on the living room table. It is not.

I look at Pollen and she shrugs her no-shoulders.

Jean or some cleaner may have come in and thrown it away without knowing what it is.

I don't think about it anymore and go to the room, to sleep, I'm exhausted.

I open the door. There's someone in the room. My mother. She has her back to the door, sitting in an armchair.

Now I understand what happened. A shiver runs through me.

I see Pollen hiding. I have to face her alone.

"Where were you?" she says with a cold voice. It is not cold without feelings like Kagami, but cold with anger.

In any other mother it would be a loving question of concern. Not in her.

I don't answer the question. I can't think of anything to say. Instead, I make another one.

"What are you doing here?"

She gets up and faces me.

"I can come in here whenever I want. I am your mother. And I wouldn't do it if you knew how to behave. You constantly give our family a bad image. To me."

She takes out the sign, which is on the couch.

"What the fuck is this?"

You can clearly read "Impediment for Audrey Bourgeois." It is impossible to try to trick her into thinking it is something different.

I decide to be honest. At this point it doesn't matter.

"A spell to keep you out. You thought you could do magic on me without me connecting the dots and realizing that I can do magic too?"

She shakes her head.

"You can't do magic. You are a worthless girl."

She doesn't know me. Not at all. Not only do I have magic, but I am a holder.

"You know that from all the time you've spent with me, I guess."

She grimaces. Pissing her off more isn't a great idea, but I haven't been able to keep my mouth shut.

Then she does something strange. She laughs.

"You don't have magic, no matter how much you think you do. I am too powerful. By combining my energy with your father's, it gave so much energy that your body couldn't stand it and you were born without any magic."

She really is convinced that I can't do magic. Someday she will get a surprise.

"And this cardboard is useless." she breaks it in half when she says it. "You won't try to prevent me from entering again if you don't want to touch the ceiling again. Has it been clear to you?"

A threat. That's much better than what I thought was going to happen.

I nod, only for her to leave. Well of course I'll try again.

"You better comply. I can put security cameras in here. I'm sure you don't want me to do it."

She throws the sign to the ground and leaves with her head held high.

I used to admire that confidence so much. Now I see that it's arrogance mixed with ignorance.

I hear the suite door close and Pollen comes out of hiding.

"Are you OK?"

"We will not be able to prevent her from entering or she will put cameras. She will see Queen Bee."

Pollen approaches my face and kisses me on the forehead.

"I'm sorry."

I shake my head.

"No. From what she has said, I am more powerful than her. And next time, I'll manage to defend myself."

I must have faith in myself.

A/N: I don't know if you were expecting this. If not, surprise! If you expected it, you will know who he is. If not, you will find out at some point in the future. I'm still not sure if it will be soon or at a future time.
