"Ow! You just burned me!" Veneer says as Crimp is trying to iron his shirt with him wearing it.
"Oh my gosh! I'm sorry. Uh maybe it would be easier if you took your shirt off?" Crimp asks nervously.
"Ugh. Don't be lazy." Veneer says as he crosses his legs.
"Oh by the way you know that thing you asked me for." Crimp says as she goes over toward Velvet.
"Space from you?" Velvet asks.
"Oh no. Yeah no. Uh anyway uh you said you needed a way to make your smoothies even fruit on stage." Crimp says.
"You did?" Veneer asks in surprise.
"Yes. That is what I want. Go on." Velvet says as Alexis and Floyd look at each other concernedly.
"Well I had an idea. Ta-dah!" Crimp says as she reveals shoulder pads with indented chamber areas in them and a button on the chest area.
"Crimp that's not an idea. Those are shoulder pads." Veneer says as he goes over to the invention.
"I beg to differ. It's a high-powered vacuum. I finally put that master degree in engineering to good use. See? You just pop the grape or strawberry or blueberry or guava slice right in here. And it releases the food's essence through here. Once you're on the stage and then lightly tap this button. Just delicately. You know like once." Crimp says as she demonstrates only for Velvet to grab the device and put it on before using it on Floyd.
"Floyd!" Alexis says in alarm as Velvet sucks more of Floyd's life out of him.
"You said that it was for smoothies." Crimp says in shock.
"It's called lying Crimp. Deal with me." Velvet says unworriedly.
"If you use it too much you'll kill him. The plum that I tested turned into a prune." Crimp says as she shows a shriveled up plum.
"Oh that's not good." Alexis says as she looks at the shriveled plum before worriedly at Floyd.
"I don't want to kill the little guy. They're kind of cute when they're up and about, banging on the walls, yelling I want to go home. Kinda like my little wolf pet is when she acts all vicious and cute." Veneer says as Alexis snarls annoyedly at the comment.
"Do you want to lose all this and go back to the dark place where we had nothing?" Velvet asks as she gives an annoyed look.
"Girl we grew up in the suburbs. Our parents were dentists." Veneer says.
"Our parents were nobodies and we were nobodies. And when I met you then you were literally sucking your thumb and using the bathroom all over the place." Velvet says angrily.
"You met me when I was a baby." Veneer says.
"All over the place. It was nuts! You don't want to give up all the yachts and the bling and you're illegal pet wolf do you?" Velvet asks as she goes toward Veneer causing him to back up.
"Okay I made my piece with it. Great job Crimp!" Veneer says as he looks at Crimp.
"You're smarter than I thought. Now I don't trust you." Velvet says as she looks at Crimp.
"That's maybe not a rational response. Please don't leave me in the closet!" Crimp shouts as Velvet shuts her in the closet.
"Now come on. We're about to go from stars to mega stars!" Velvet says as she hands Floyd's container to Veneer as she leaves.
"Don't do this. Please." Alexis says as she looks at Veneer.
"Please Veneer." Floyd says pleadingly.
"It's nothing personal. I just love my sister. And all my fame. And money. And things I bought." Veneer says as he smiles.
"Oh brother." Alexis says as she rolls her eyes.
"Yeah sure. Dying sucks. But at least it's for some sweet bling and some boho chic home furnishings." Floyd says sarcastically.
"You get it." Veneer says as he drains Floyd before leaving as he drops his container to the ground.
"Ow. Ugh." Floyd says as he sits up as he and Alexis see he is getting paler.
"Floyd?" Alexis asks concernedly as she shifts to troll form and goes over to Floyd's container.
"I'm okay Alexis. Don't worry." Floyd says as he sits up weakly.
"No you're not. Don't lie to me. You never believed that you'd find a way out of here did you?" Alexis asks as she gives an annoyed look.
"No. I'm sorry. Not with this diamond container. Only one thing shatters diamond and honestly hope my brothers don't come. I don't want them to suffer the same fate as me." Floyd says as he sighs.
"Then why lie to me? Why say you were gonna try to prove me wrong about trolls if you never believed you'd make it out?" Alexis asks.
"Because I could tell you needed some hope more than I did. I could see you needed a friend. I just wanted to help give you some comfort in anyway I could." Floyd says kindly as Alexis looks at him in surprise.
"But why?" Alexis asks.
"Because I have enjoyed your company. No matter what happens I don't regret meeting you. Even if it's not under conditions that either of us would want." Floyd says as he smiles softly.
"I don't regret meeting you either Floyd." Alexis says kindly as she smiles softly.
"My wifi doesn't work great in the closet." Crimp says as Alexis and Floyd look over at the closet.
*Timeskip*
"Knock, Knock. Almost showtime." A voice says as the group hears a knock at the door.
"Ugh. It's almost showtime and no sign of Brozone." Velvet says annoyedly.
"No but I have an idea. We could practice." Veneer says.
"I want to be famous but I'm not gonna work for it." Velvet says.
"No but you two certainly seem to want to work for anything and everything else at other people's expense." Alexis says as she flattens her ears and rolls her eyes.
"What was that!?" Velvet asks as she angrily looks at Alexis.
"Nothing." Alexis says annoyedly.
"Come on we used to make up little dances together all the time remember?" Veneer asks as he dances.
"Our dance is sucked. How many fans do you think we can get making up sucky dances? Hey! Hello in there. Wake up! Wakey, wakey." Velvet says as she grabs Floyd's container and shakes it as he doesn't move.
"Floyd?" Alexis asks concernedly not seeing Floyd move.
"Oh he's dead! Oh man! hat have we done? What do we do?" Veneer asks in alarm.
"You remember the goldfish you had as a kid?" Velvet asks.
"You mean sparkles?" Veneer asks.
"Yep. And what did we do with him when he died?" Velvet asks as she and Veneer go to the bathroom with Floyd's container as Alexis follows closely behind.
"Okay goodbye little guy." Veneer says as Velvet hands him the container.
"Please hurry up and flush. Being this close to you next to a toilet makes me uncomfortable." Velvet says before Floyd springs to live and knocks the container from Veneer's hands as he begins rolling away.
"You were faking?" Alexis asks as she runs next to Floyd as he is trying to escape.
"Yep. Though I'm not sure it's going to work the way I want!" Floyd says as he and Alexis see Veneer is chasing them.
"Just keep running." Alexis says as she looks back snarling.
"Wait! What are you going to do?" Floyd asks worriedly.
"Something stupid but you wanted me to try in being a friend to trolls so I am. I'll do what I can." Alexis says as she comes to a stop before lunging and biting Veneer in the leg while using her ice abilities to sink her fangs in deeper to hang on.
"Ow! You little mutt!" Veneer shouts as he shocks Alexis using the collar making her reluctantly let go screaming before she gets knocked into a wall with a loud yelp.
"Alexis!" Floyd shouts as he stops only to get grabbed by Veneer.
"Gotcha!" Veneer says triumphantly.
"Please Veneer. Just let Alexis and me run past you. You can pretend you never saw us. It'll be our little secret." Floyd says as Alexis weakly stands up and looks at him.
"I can't." Veneer says sadly.
"I know. Velvet that would kill you. But just because she's your sister doesn't mean you should let her treat you like garbage." Floyd says.
"Doesn't it?" Veneer asks.
"No it doesn't. Veneer I've been treated horribly by my own kind and by trolls all because of being born different. No one ever before I met Floyd gave me a chance to get to know the real me. No one ever treated me with kindness like he has. You deserve to be around people who won't try to change the real you. People who will accept you for who you are. No matter what." Alexis says as she comes over limping slightly earning a smile from Floyd at her words as she smiles back at him.
"And if Velvet can't see this then she isn't worth being around." Floyd says before Velvet comes running over.
"You got him. Hey I know I probably don't say this enough but good job. We really make a great team don't we bro? Now come on. We should also probably hire a new assistant which feels like a huge job." Velvet says as Veneer hands her Floyd's container before carefully picking up Alexis.
"Crimp find us a new assistant." Veneer says as he and Velvet begin walking back into the room.
"I'm on it." Crimp says.
