"YOU WRETCHED LITTLE PEST!"

Leo gasped as he was thrown into some jagged rocks, his shell aching again, he had just bandaged it.

He heard a voice call out to him, whispering gentle, soothing words, he looked back and saw a golden light, a clear view of Mikey, Mikey, whispering things to him. Leo coughed weakly, startled into choking on saliva (and blood) as he gaped at his baby brother. Leo reached out just as the Kraang punched him back.

Shoot! He had forgotten about the threat in front of him, which was weird because currently beating him to death. He waited until the next punch, then jumped away, starting to sprint despite the injured leg, the leg felt like nothing but an ache, showing his high pain tolerance. He flipped above the Kraang's arm that shot out at him.

One thing the Kraang can't take away is my dramatic-ness.

His thoughts of hope were crushed the moment the Kraang was able to get a hold of his painful leg, Leo winced barely but tried to fight out, crying out his close brother's name in vain. He could hear whatever god/s in the sky that existed laughing and cursing at him. Noob LOL!

Leo gritted his teeth, bared his teeth at the Kraang and threw a makeshift shuriken at the Kraang's leg, stabbing it. The Kraang roared in pain as he stumbled away and started to make his way hurriedly to the light. Mikey was now smiling at him, albeit wetly, tears coming out of his eyes. Leo fell in agony as he used the last of his aching muscles to stretch towards the light.

"Move would ya' I wanna sit with this dum dum, don't u dare comment!"

"Come on Leo, wake up bro!"

"You better stop arguing or Dr Delicate Touch will come out on you."

"Guys I think he's-"

"Don't be unrealis-"

"Guys!"

"Why can't you listen? "

"Guys?!"

"Cuz you are being a dum-dum!"

"RAPH, DONNIE! LEO'S WAKING UP!"

Leo's eyes shifted beneath his eyelids, a range of thoughts swirling, the most repetitive being is he alive? Is he dying? Were his brothers dead? Was-

Leo blinked his eyes blearily up at the ceiling, and suddenly three faces jumped into his view.

"GAH!" Leo sat up and tried to move away, the problem being, that he couldn't even sit up. He looked at them from his half-sitting position, wait…

Raph...Donnie…Mikey? Oh, my Pizza Supreme in the-I'm back!

They came up to him as he pinched himself to check it wasn't a dream, then pinched Donnie.

Donnie hissed and jerked back, "What the Aristotle! What was that for Nardo'?!" But Leo was too busy gaping at them, Mikey suddenly jolted forward and hugged him. Leo chuckled and lifted his arm to hug back. The other two draped over them, even Donnie.

Once they all detached themselves from each other, Leo just waited, Donnie stepped forward, and Oh no, he did NOT look pleased...

Before Donnie could do anything though, Mikey came forward and held Leo's hand while Raph kept a hand on Donnie's shoulder. Thank Mikey and Raph.

They looked at him concerned, and Leo realised they were waiting for him to speak, Leo cleared his throat, and then

"Soooo, I guess I'm not looking at doppelgangers from New Jersey again, phew, thank Pizza!"

For the first time since never, they laughed at his quip!

"Huh, so there is a positive of going/being out for someone for so long, cool!" Oh shoot, he said that out loud, cover up cover up, Cover Up!

"Lol, guess you guys did miss me~~" Nailed it, classic Leo! They groaned, extremely exaggeratedly, but Casey looked at him in concern, he decided to brush it off and wave.

"Yo Case, Future boy~, come over here, you too Apes, don't just gape at me, you just got me back and this is what you do, Tsk Tsk."

"Sensei, it's good to see you are back! I couldn't imagine losing you again." Casey trembled with tears. He then looks at April before sighing.

"You have a lot to talk to me about Mister, you insensible, little idiot! I'm actually gonna-" April ran forward and put him into a half headlock, the best you can do while someone's on a bed.

"Commander! He's injured!

"So wha-HEY!" Raph picks her up easily, despite her struggling, "Get OFF me Raph or I swear to-"

Raph smiles and covers her mouth, much to April's rage. Leo smiles distantly, it's been too long since he was able to hear his many brothers' shenanigans. He looked at them all and smiled wide, they smiled back and for once, it felt normal, like it was before the Kraang invasion and Shredder. He shuddered and they flipped to concern. Raoh brought a weighted blanket and closed the lights while Donnie ushered everyone including Raph once he was done.

Leo felt faint suddenly, as though all the energy drained out of him. He tried to stay up, but he couldn't sleep right after he got back, he had to-

"Sleep now Sen-uh Leo, It's okay now, we'll be here when you wake up." Casey's voice sounded far away. The last Leo heard was Donnie's mumbling about Leo's injuries before he was out.
