Midoriya knocked on mineta door and waited a bit as he heard some moving from the other side, the door open and mineta gasp slightly as he looked at midoriya "m-midoriya?" He said shocked while midoriya smiled at him, causing his cheeks to redden a bit.
"heh hey mineta, is now a good time?" Midoriya asked him simply, making mineta nod.
"y-yeah come on in" mineta answered him as he opened the door so midoriya could come in.
Midoriya walked into the room and was surprised at how clean it was, with nothing inappropriate that could be seen, he smiled and went to go sit down at the chair at mineta desk "it really clean in here" he chuckled.
"thanks" he smiled as he closed the door so the two could be alone "s-so what's up?" Mineta asked him while trying to stay calm.
Midoriya turned to look at him but his eyes widened in shock before a small laugh had escaped "nice picture" he said confusing mineta.
Mineta looked behind him and his eyes widened as there was a bikini model poster hanging up on the back of his door, he went red in the face "s-sorry, I'll take it down!" He said as he quickly went to take the poster down but something has stopped him by wrapping around his body.
Midoriya held mineta within his black whip as he used the quirk to pull mineta towards himself "mineta, calm down" he said as once mineta was close enough, he had disabled the quirk before hugging him tightly "heh me and everyone else had started to notice how you are changing" he told him as mineta back was pressed up against his chest, and were now sitting in his lap.
"i-i had told you I w-would" mineta tried to say but feeling midoriya holding him was sending his brain into overload, he started to take deep breaths to calm himself down "I... I had wanted to be someone you would consider dating..." He mumbled softly, making the both of them blush.
"mineta..." Midoriya mumbled as he kept holding him.
"have... Have you thought about it..." Mineta asked him, feeling worried.
"yeah, I have and I believe we could make it work..." Midoriya said making mineta eyes widened in shock as his heart started to slam against his rib cage "but I want you to get to know me better, then decide if you want to be with me, deal?"
Mineta would of had said anything but he didn't trust his voice, instead he had simply nodded his quickly, making midoriya chuckle softly and continued to hold him.
After some time had passed midoriya had slowly let go of mineta, let him stand on his own again "heh sorry for holding you so long" He apologized with a small chuckle and blush but mineta didn't acknowledge him "mineta?" Midoriya called out worried.
"W-why... Why are you giving me this chance, midoriya?" Mineta asked him quietly as he wasn't able to look at midoriya face at the moment, while squeezing his fist tightly holding back tears "I-i don't deserve it... I know I don't..."
Midoriya smiled as he reached over and gently placed his hand on mineta shoulder, feeling him immediately tense up but kept it there "because I can see so much potential inside of you... Even though you put this wall up. I can see a caring, brave, and amazing hero... And I want to be there when that person comes out, so I can greet him with open arms" he explained to him, as he could feel him starting to shake.
Mineta turned around and looked at midoriya as tears ran down his face "m-midoriya..." he sobbed as he started to wipe his tears away but they had kept coming "you w-wouldn't happen to have a quirk t-to make people cry, do you?"
Midoriya chuckled and hugged mineta, rubbing his back as he cried, nothing needed to be said between the two while minutes passed with only midoriya holding mineta.
"i-im sorry for crying on you" mineta finally spoke up as he pulled back from midoriya, wiping his face.
"it's alright, I can only imagine how many times I had gotten other people wet because of my tears" midoriya joked causing mineta to start laughing a bit.
"thank you, midoriya... Thank you for believing in me, I won't let you down" mineta told him which had gotten a nod from midoriya.
"then I'll keep believing and supporting you" midoriya smiled before his phone started to buzz, making him look at it "oh I'm sorry but I have to go" he said looking back at mineta.
"...c-can I talk to you some time later then" mineta asked him making him chuckle a bit.
"of course you can" midoriya smile as he leans closer to mineta and kiss his cheek, making mineta gasp, he pulled back with a grin "see ya later" he said as he quickly left the room.
Both midoriya and mineta were red in the face but it couldn't be helped that a small chuckle had escaped, before they went on about their day, planning to see each other soon enough.
okay so just a fyi, in this story mineta isn't a damn midget that is the same hight a eri lol. he IS short but if anything he comes up to deku chest.
