After we got the Migrator fixed, we cleaned up, then boarded it. We headed out to Scottsville and home. Its going to be nice to see everyone again, especially my twin boys.

I let Nosedive drive while I called Silverdawn.

"Hello?"

"Hey Silverdawn. How are the boys?"

"They're doing good. Throttle just got back here a few mins. ago and is playing with the boys. I did get a call from Carbine."

"Yeah? How are her and Morgan doing?"

"Married, living in Las Vegas and expecting their first child."

"OMG! That's great! Boy or girl?"

"They want to be surprised. Are you on your way home, sweetie?"

"Yeah, we are."

"We? Someone else coming with you?"

"Yeah. A new addition to the family. His brother and friends were killed, so he has no family left. Throttle offered for him to join our family."

"He always did think of others before himself. What's your friends' name?"

"Nosedive. He's a duck from another planet."

"Well, I can't wait to meet him. You 2 be careful coming home."

"We will, mom. Love you."

"Love you too, sweetie." Then I hung up.

"So, Throttle just got back home."

"So, who's Silverdawn?"

"Throttle's mom. I call her mom, too. She can't wait to meet you, too."

"She knows that I'm from another planet and a duck?"

"Yep. She seems to be ok with that fact, but we'll see when you meet her in person."

"I hope she likes me. I don't want to spend the rest of my life alone with no family."

"I'm sure she will, Dive."

Half an hour later, we drove up to the house. We had talked during the drive there. After the engine was turned off, we disembarked from the Mirgrator and walked into the garage. I told Nosedive that before we walk into the house, he's to take his boots off.

"Do I have to?"

"Yes, you do. I have a clean house. I would like to keep it that way."

"Ok. Does everyone take their shoes and boots off before going into the house?"

"Yes, they do. It's a rule that my parents had and I'm continuing that rule with my family and friends."

"Its something I'll have to get use to."

"It was hard for me when I was growing up, but as I got older, I started leaving my shoes by the door. Don't worry, I'll remind you now and then."

"Ok."

Then we took our shoes and boots off. We walked into the house and I saw Silverdawn cooking in the kitchen.

"Hey mom. Whatcha cookin'?"

Silverdawn looked up to see Nosedive and I walk into the kitchen. She smiled then turned the heat down on the stove. She came around the cooking island and hugged me. I returned the hug.

"Its so good to see you, sweetie."

Then she saw Nosedive. She gave him a hug, too.

"I'm so sorry about your brother and friends. Both Michelle and Throttle told me what happened."

"Thank you, ma'am. Mike has been there for the whole team since we first met her about 8 yrs. ago."

"There's no need to call me ma'am. You can call me mom, if you like, Nosedive."

"Ok. Then you can call me Dive. Mike does."

Silverdawn looked at me.

"Mike is the male version of Michelle. A lot of people call me Mike. Select few call me Michelle."

While Nosedive and I were talking with Silverdawn, Throttle came downstairs after the boys had finally wore themselves out.

He came into the kitchen and saw us. He wrapped his arms around my waist and hugged me.

He whispered in my ear. "I missed you, honey."

I turned around in his arms and wrapped my arms around his neck.

"I missed you too, dear. How are the boys?"

"Taking a nap right now." Then he saw Nosedive.

"Hey Nosedive. I am so sorry about your brother and friends. I understand what you're going through. We lost a couple of friends a while back."

"Thanks and sorry about your friends."

"Thanks. I see you've met my mom."

"Yep. Welcomed me with open arms."

"She did that with me, too. She didn't care if I was Human or Martian Mouse. As long as Throttle is happy, then she's happy."

While we were all talking, I heard some moving around upstairs in the boys' room.

"I thought you said they were asleep?"

"They're suppose to be. Want me to go find out?"

"Naw. I haven't seen them in a while. I'll go. I miss the boys."

Throttle smiled and let me go see the boys. He smiled as I left the kitchen.

Upstairs. I looked into the boys' room and saw them watching TV. I quietly opened the door and walked in. They looked to see who walked in. When they saw it was me, they got off the bed and jumped on me, knocking me down.

After I sat up, they apologized for knocking me down.

"That's ok, boys. That's the best welcome home I could ever get from you 2. I've missed you boys."

"We've missed you too, mom. Grandma said that you and dad were spending time from each other for a while. Everything ok, mom?"

I smiled. "Everything is just fine, Tony. We just needed some time apart to clear our heads. We didn't want to start a big fight, so I left for a while. I ran your Aunt Charley's garage for a while. I also brought home an old friend from California. Would you boys like to meet him?"

The boys looked at each other then at me and smiled. "Sure mom. What's he like? Is he another mouse?"

"No, he's not a mouse. He's a duck and he plays hockey."

"A duck? You hang out with some strange people, mom."

I gave Tony "the look" when he said that.

"What? Its true."

"It so happens that I have been friends with the Ducks for nearly 10 yrs. When I heard that Nosedive's brother and friends were killed, I was shocked. Nosedive has been through a lot boys, treat him nice, ok?"

Both boys smiled and nodded. "That's my boys. I also have a surprise for both of you. You're going to have another sibling."

They both looked at each other and smiled. They were so happy. They hugged me. I hugged them back.
