A/N: Once again, I hope it's good enough. I'm not big on car knowledge, like I said before. R&R.

An hour later, Kim and Ron were riding in a taxi, Britina's private jet having finally landed in LA. They were now on their way to The Racer's Edge, wanting to start their mission with Brian. So far they got some good intel on who Motor Ed's new team could be, but they hoped that Brian could give them more info to help. They also knew that Brian might not know what he's getting himself into, trying to chase down one of Kim's arch foes. The two teens just hoped he would listen to them.

Kim then reviewed what she was supposed to say to Harry to get him to let them see Brian. She was a straight A student, but like Ron said, there were still things she didn't know too well, like street racing and car parts. Kim made a face as she tried to understand what the phrase on the slip of paper meant. "Spark plugs for a M…Mitsubishi Eclipse?" she asked, still not skilled in cars and car parts.

"See Kim? You may be a straight A student, skilled in cheerleading, and saving the world, but like I said…" Ron wanted to smirk before Kim glared at him. She then sighed, knowing her best friend actually had a point.

"You're right. I can't believe I'm saying this…but would you do most of the talking to Harry?" Kim asked. If Ron was skilled in cars like he said he was, the girl who could do anything could really use his help.

Ron smiled at his best friend. "It would be my pleasure." He said as the taxi pulled up in front of The Racer's Edge. After paying the driver, they got out and entered where they found Harry.

"Can I help you?" Harry asked. Kim gulped, hoping she wouldn't have to embarrass herself with her limited car knowledge if Ron messed up. The blonde haired boy simply smiled as he walked up to the front counter.

"Hey, would you mind telling Brian O'Conner that we're here?" Ron asked. "We have two 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipses that need new spark plugs. Man, we took them out for a spin last night. Got up to 145 miles per hour last night before we skidded out of control and tore the insides up. It was a lot of damage, but it was epic. Anyway, we need them fixed before we can race again."

Kim sighed as Harry was silent for a bit before nodding. "He's out back." he said. Kim breathed a sigh of relief as they made their way to the back.

"Wow, that was good, Ron." Kim smiled, clearly proud of her best friend. "You really know your stuff."

"That's why when it comes to stuff I know, you should let me talk and you do the action." Ron smirked. Kim playfully rolled her eyes before they reached the back and found an exit. Outside, they found Brian tricking out his Eclipse with the two Nos tanks. Kim cleared her throat.

"Excuse me? Are you Brian O'Conner with LAPD?" Kim asked.

"Who wants to know?" Brian asked, looking up.

"We were sent by your bosses to help with the investigation." Kim said, politely. Brian eyes went wide. He knew the LAPD was gonna send him some two freelance agents to help him, but he didn't expect them to be teenagers. If anything happened to them, it would be all his fault.

"And you are?" Brian asked as he approached the two.

"Kim Possible. And this is my partner, Ron Stoppable." Kim said with a smile. Brian then chuckled as he knew about Kim, her website, and her heroics. What threw him off was the fact that she didn't come in her usual black crop top and cargo pants that she wears during missions.

"Oh my goodness. I didn't recognize you without your mission clothes." Brian smiled. "You look good though."

"Thanks." Kim smiled before Ron noticed Brian's 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse.

"Sweet ride. 2002, right?" Ron smirked. Brian smiled, seeing that Ron knew his cars right. He actually hasn't noticed Ron before. Just Kim.

"You bet." Brian smirked, showing off his ride to the two teens. "200 horsepower, 4-speed shiftable automatic transmission…she's gifted. Bet you two would love to have a car like this one."

"You bet. It goes with my eyes." Kim smiled and giggled. "I actually got my driver's license this week. I'm basically street legal."

"Good to know." Brian smiled before sighing. He knew Kim was gifted when it came to battling bad guys and saving people, but he just didn't want her and Ron to get killed. They were still kids after all. "Are you sure you wanna do this? I mean, I've dealt with drug rings. Typical cop stuff. I know that you two are supposed to be the best, but this is different from stopping a doomsday device."

"Hey, are you forgetting who you're talking to?" Kim smirked. "I can handle myself." She then took out her driver's license and tossed it to Brian to prove her point. "I'm a big girl, and I can do anything. Besides, I don't think you don't know who we're dealing with. So, whatever they got, bring it."

Brian was silent for a bit before cracking a wide smile, clearly impressed. He then tossed Kim's license back to her. She caught it with a smile. "Are we gonna keep talking, or should we get down to business?" he asked with a smirk.

"The second one." Ron simply said as Kim set her backpack down. "So, did they tell you who we're dealing with? As in, the big bad in charge of the crew who's been highjacking those trucks with those Hondas?"

"Apparently some guy with a mullet who likes to make air guitar solos." Brian shrugged. His department gave him good intel, but because they haven't shown their faces, it was hard for him to come up with a prime suspect. Kim smirked before pulling out her Kimmunicator and pulling up a pic of Motor Ed.

"Motor Ed. One of my arch foes." Kim said, explaining the deets to Brian, who listened intently. "He's from New Jersey, likes to crush stuff with monster trucks, and says the word 'seriously' all the time." Brian nodded, now knowing who might be running the wheels on all the thefts so far.

"Well, he's clearly out of his league on the West Coast." Brian smirked. "East LA is not like New Jersey."

"Yeah, but he probably just wanted a change of scenery." Ron smiled. "After all, it's always so nice in California."

"I think it's just a matter of knowing who his new crew is. Clearly it's not his usual henchmen from NJ." Kim said, hoping Brian might have answers this time.

"Let me do you one better." Brian smirked, taking the Kimmunicator and typing in Dominic's profile.

"Who's he?" Kim asked, clearly not knowing about this guy. He didn't look like the usual henchman that her arch foes had usually hired.

"Dominic Toretto. He runs a local food stand. I've been going there everyday for lunch, hoping to gain his trust." Brian said as he tinkered with the car's engines some more. "By the way, the tuna sandwich? It's awful."

"Thanks for the heads up." Kim smirked.

"Yeah, I'm more of a mexican food guy myself." Ron smiled. "Bueno Nacho's my usual stopping grounds."

"Anyway, he runs the stand during the day. At night though? He's part of the East LA street racing scene." Brian explained. Kim nodded, knowing she would need to get more knowledge about street racing in order to stop Motor Ed. "His skills are pretty materful. He's only lost a few races. And clearly with his driving skills, that makes him an easy suspect. Of course, there are a few other possible suspects that Dominic might have connections with."

"He looks nice." Kim smiled as she continued to look at Dominic's her, he just looked like a regular guy. "I just don't get why Motor Ed would want to hire someone like him."

"Well, you'll soon see." Brian smirked.

"So, now that we exchanged intel, what's the best way to catch Motor Ed?" Kim asked with an arched eyebrow.

"We gain Dom's trust, and hopefully, he'll lead us to the crew, and ultimately, Motor Ed." Brian smiled, writing down an address on a slip of paper and giving it to Kim. "That's the address to a street race that's happening tonight. Dom will most likely be there."

"Oooh! We're going street racing!" Ron cheered excitedly, while Kim remained nervous. She didn't want to get in trouble for street racing. This kind of stuff seemed risky, and she didn't want to lose her license.

"And how will we get his respect at the race?" Kim asked.

"Easy: we win. Shouldn't be too hard for you." Brian smirked, to which Kim giggled. "There's two ways to enter: bet money or bet your pink slips."

"So, we just bet our doctor's notes?" Ron asked, not knowing what a pink slip actually is. Kim frowned at that, knowing there were more things that Ron didn't really know about.

"Ron! He meant the slips that come with the car! The registration!" Kim said, rolling her eyes.

"Exactly. The race will happen tonight at 8:00. You two better be prepared." Brian said. Kim was nervous at first, but remembered about Britina's offer. She smiled to herself, now feeling more confident.

"Oh we will." Kim smirked.

Later, Kim and Ron both stood in Britina's garage in her mansion at Beverly Hills. Kim earlier called in Britina's offer, much to the pop star's pleasure. The three stood in front of Britina's 2002 Ferrari Enzo. Kim smiled to herself, feeling more confident that she has a fast enough car to beat Dom and gain his respect later tonight. "You like?" Britina asked with a smile. "I can get you a green one, to match your eyes."

"No thanks. This'll do." Kim smiled as Britina handed her the keys.

Later on, back at the motel where they were staying, Kim and Ron were having Wade look under the hood, with Kim holding the Kimmunicator so Wade could get a good view. They needed to make sure that Britina's Ferrari Enzo would be good enough to beat Dominic. But Kim still felt nervous, as she still needed to learn how to win the race. Sure, she could do anything, including fix a leaking dam to save a town, but being a 16 year old, she still needed some help. And luckily, she had her best friend and her tech friend to show her the ropes of street racing. "So, you think she's race ready?" Kim asked Wade.

"You bet she is. Just needs a few tweaks of course." Wade smiled, making Kim smile back.

"We'll take care of it, KP. You just worry about learning about street racing." Ron smiled. Kim sighed before walking away. Rufus then approached his master while carrying a tool box. "Shouldn't be too hard. I'm a wiz in the kitchen, so doing work on a car should be a piece of cake."

"Cake! Yummy!" Rufus squeaked excitedly as he handed Ron a wrench.

Meanwhile, Kim was twirling her hair, clearly nervous about street racing tonight. "If the cops find out and tell the rents, they will never let me drive again." Kim sighed, not wanting to get in trouble while on a mission. "That and ground me for life."

"Chill, Kim. I got my police scanner up and running. You'll know when they're coming before anyone else." Wade assured, making Kim smile. "Now, here's a seriously important tip: make sure not to activate the nitrous system unless you're a half mile from the finish, or if you really need to catch up."

"And nitrous is…?" Kim asked, still needing more schooling in cars. Wade just sighed.

"The gas that gives you a speed boost." Wade explained.

"Thanks Wade." Kim smiled. "But hopefully I won't need it tonight. I do believe I can win on just pure luck. That, and I got you and Ron by my side." Suddenly, there was a fire, causing Kim to gasp.

"Ahh! Flaming badness! It burns!" Ron screamed as Kim rushed to help him out, but Rufus, who was standing on top of a fire extinguisher, nodded, having already put Ron out. Kim checked the car, and breathed with relief when she saw it was fine. She then arched an eyebrow at Ron. "Clearly nitrous oxide is pretty flammable." Kim then sighed.

"I better help you out." Kim said, grabbing a wrench. "We better hurry. We only got a few hours before dark."

"Don't worry. We'll make it." Ron assured her.

It was now nighttime over the streets of East LA. The lights came on, the sounds of hip hop music filled the air, and sports cars from all over began lining up in a back alley, ready to have themselves ten second races. Brian's Mitsubishi Eclipse and Kim's Ferrari Enzo arrived, with Ron and Kim checking out the party scene. It was way different than in Colorado, that's for sure. "Alright, now this is a party scene right here." Ron smiled, making Kim smile back. She found the scene pretty fun too.

"So, where's Toretto?" Kim asked through an earpiece Brian gave her.

"Don't worry. He'll be here." Brain promised. "You better get your ride ready. That Ferrari is about to go up against some serious ten second cars." Kim nodded as they parked their cars where the people were checking out the ones that were supposed to race tonight. Ron then noticed the females and began to grin as Brian and Kim got out.

"We should probably scout the place out. It doesn't hurt to be careful. Right, Ron?" Kim asked, but when she saw Ron's face, she rolled her eyes annoyedly.

"Looks like your friend's trying to get a boner." Brian smirked, making Kim roll her eyes more.

"Ron, focus!" Kim hissed, to which Ron got back to normal and got out.

"Oh sorry, Kim. I'm still in awe of the scene." Ron smiled. "We could possibly make some big money with this race."

"Hey slow down, kid. You're not racing for money, remember?" Brian asked, to which Kim nodded and smirked, and Ron just pouted. Just then, a Mexican man noticed the three.

"Hey, hold up. Look at these snowmen and snowlady." Hector smirked as he made his way towards them. "Sweet ride there."

"Thanks." Brian smiled.

"I wasn't talking to you, dawg." the man said, his eyes to Kim, who just smiled. "So sweetie, is that Ferrari I see?" Kim smirked and nodded. "So, what's under the hood?"

Kim giggled and put a finger to her lips. "Not telling…jerk." she smirked, making Brian, Ron, and the man chuckle.

"You're gonna make me find out the hard way?" the man asked.

"Pretty much." Kim smirked.

"You are brave, you brave." the man smiled before looking at Kim some more. "Have I seen you before?"

"Maybe. Tell me your info, I'll give you mine." Kim teased.

"They call me Hector. I got a last name too, but I can't pronounce it, so-" Hector said, to which Kim just put her hand out.

"Kim Possible." Kim smiled, to which Hector chuckled some more.

"I knew I recognized you!" Hector smiled, shaking her hand. "What in the world is the most badass and most beautiful teen hero doing in East LA?"

"Just got my license, and wanting to put the pedal to the metal in my new present my daddy got." Kim smiled, trying to keep her cover intact. Brian smiled, knowing she's doing better than he expected.

"Wow, your daddy bought you that? He must seriously love you." Hector smirked.

"Anyway, this is Ron Stoppable." Kim introduced her best friend.

"Brian Spilner." Brian introduced himself.

"Ah, typical white boy name." Hector said as the two shook hands. He then pointed to his car. "See that green one right there?"

"Yeah, she's cute." Kim smiled.

"Cute?" Hector scoffed. "That's sexy! That's my baby! But I ain't cutting her loose tonight."

"Why not? That thing might wipe out all the competition easily!" Ron said.

"Yeah, but now I'm going legit. I'm trying to get on the NIRA circuit. You all heard about that?" Hector asked. Kim gulped, clearly never heard about NIRA. But luckily, Brian covered for her.

"Oh yeah we have." Brian smiled, to which Kim nodded.

"So now that I know what's up with Possible, what's up with you man?" Hector asked.

"I'm just waiting for Toretto." Brian answered.

"Yeah, we both are." Kim smiled as a young black man approached them.

"Shit. You two better get in line." the man said before studying Brian's car. "Is this yours?"

"I'm standing next to it, so yes." Brian smirked.

"That's funny." the black man scoffed. "You know, Edwin happens to know a few things. And one of the things Edwin knows is it's not how you stand by your car. Is how you race your car. You better learn that."

"Maybe that's a problem for the buster here, but that won't be a problem for me." Kim smirked, making Brian chuckle.

"Yeah, you're obviously an easy bet, besides Torretto." Hector smirked, thinking Kim might be able to win. Just then, Dom and his crew's cars began to was time for the festivities to begin, and hopefully Kim and Brian's chance to gain Dom's respect.

"Here they come. It's on!" Edwin smiled before Dom got out of his 1993 Mazda RX-7 FD. Dom smiled and chatted with the other people, clearly the race royalty among them. He got friendly with all of them, especially the females. But that did not sit well with the female of Dom's group as she approached Dom and the girls.

"I smell…skanks." she insulted and smirked. "Why don't you girls pack it up before I leave treadmarks on your face?"

The girls backed away once she threatened them while Dom shook his head. "Letty, I was just talking." Dom assured her. He then saw Hector and Edwin. OK, Hector, Edwin!" They approached him, showing him respect.

"Hey, how we doing this tonight?" Edwin asked.

"One race, two G buy in, winner takes all." Dom explained pretty simply. "Hector, you hold the cash."

"Hold up, Dom. We got ourselves a celeb in the house." Hector smirked, stepping out of the way to reveal Kim, who smiled nervously, not sure how to approach Dom. "Don't worry. She just got her license. So she's legal." Letty glared at Kim, clearly seeing her as racing competition. Kim gulped as Dom smiled and approached Kim.

"Gee, and I thought I was royalty." Dom smirked, making everyone, even Kim, laugh.

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Toretto." Kim smiled innocently.

"Call me Dom." he assured. "I don't wanna be a stern father here, but what are you doing in East LA on a school night?"

"Can't a girl have some fun with her new present?" Kim smirked.

"Fair enough." Dom grinned. "I always wanted to challenge you anyway."

"One thing: I don't have cash. But I do have my car's pink slip." Kim smiled, pulling said pink slip out.

"Oh, so all or nothing eh?" Dom smirked. "I like that."

"Yeah, I'm always betting my pink slip." Brian said, holding out his pink slip.

"Whoa, slow down there. You two can't just step into the ring with Ali just because you think you can box." Jesse said.

"Oh I can do more than punch. You wanna find out?" Kim smirked with confidence.

"He knows I can box." Brian said, pointing to Vince, who was still angry over the fight earlier. "So check it out like this: we lose, the winner takes our cars, clean and clear."

"But if we win, we take the cash, and we take the respect." Kim smirked.

"Respect…" Dom chuckled with the rest of his group. "I thought you loved winning."

"Not all the time. Respect is more important than winning." Kim smiled as Dom gestured towards Brian and Kim's cars.

"Are those your cars?" Dom asked, to which they both nodded. Another one of Dom's men, Vince, checked under both hoods. The crowd was impressed by them, more so by Kim's.

"OK, I see cool-air intakes. They both got nos-fogger systems and T-four turbo engines, Dominic." Vince explained, detailing the work they did on them.

"And both have stand alone fuel management systems." Dominic smirked towards Brian and Kim. "Not a bad way to spend $10,000."

"Well, you can thank my daddy for it." Kim smirked. "So, are we worthy?"

"We don't know that yet, but you're both in." Dominic said, to which Kim raised her fist up in happiness and excitement. "Race starts in ten." As everyone got ready, Kim sighed, clearly nervous.

"What's the matter? You look sick." Brian said, concerned.

"I just…I never done anything like this before." Kim confessed, clearly having some doubts.

"Hey! Don't talk like that!" Ron assured, hoping to motivate his best friend. "Look, you can do anything, even drive. After all, that robot car SADIE helped you believe in yourself. You are a good driver."

"He's right, Kim. We already got Dom liking us. Even if we don't win, we'll figure out a new way to get on his side. After all, this might be fun for you." Kim giggled at that.

"Thanks." Kim smiled before finally putting on a determined face, making Ron smile. She hopped into the driver's seat of the Ferarri. "Let's go."

Next chapter, it's race time!
