A/N: I hope the action scenes are good enough. R&R!

Ten minutes later, the cars began driving towards the racing spot, ready to make some serious money, and for Kim and Brian, earn Dominic's trust. It isn't long until they arrive at a four lane road, a perfect spot for the race. The other cars all pulled up, wanting to get a good view to see who'll win or lose. The very young people were there for the excitement for sure. Cars of every speed and color line up to get a piece of the action. A Pizza Hut cab saw the cars and became confused. "What the hell is going on here?!" the pizza man asked.

"Street's closed, pizza boy." Vince shot back, hoping to shoo him away. "Find another way home." Vince then monitored the police scanner for any signs that their illegal activity has drawn the LAPD's wanted to make sure there weren't any cops about to come by and ruin their buzz. Just then, Dominic, Brian, Edwin, Kim, and a fifth racer finally arrived, ready to race.

"You got this, KP! You can win! You're golden!" Ron cheered, for which Kim smiled before turning back to the road. She then sighed to herself as they all lined up at the starting line.

"Remember, do the best you can." Brian assured via earpiece. "This is the best chance to get Toretto's respect." He then smirked. "He's probably gonna be pissed about losing to a teen anyway." Kim snickered at that.

Dominic then turned on his car radio system, and the sounds of hip hop came blasting through. A girl with large breasts approached Edwin and placed his hands on her boobs. "Edwin, this is yours, win or lose. But if you win, you get her too." she said, pointing to another girl, to which Edwin grinned at.

"Ick!" Kim gagged, disgusted by the woman's lewdness. "I hope I'm not like that when I turn 18." She then focused on the race.

"I can do this. I can do anything. I can win!" Kim said with that fiery spark of hope in her eyes, making Brian smirk.

"Maybe, but I might win." Brian said as he began to get focused. He then turned on the nos and activated the onboard computer/navigational system. Kim also activated her nos and computer/navigational system that Wade designed. While Dom didn't have his own onboard system, he activated his nos.

Vince then smiled at some news he heard from his police scanner. "I've got a 187 in Glendale. Cops are all over it, man. We're good to roll." Vince reported.

"Alright! Let's race!" Hector smiled, as he held his hands up, ready to begin the race. Kim and Brian nodded, both wanting to win as they waited for the signal. Ron sat back and watched with a seriously wide smile. After what seemed like forever… "GO!"

With that, the five cars went into drive and the race was on! Dominic started the lead, with Edwin in second, Kim in third, the other racer in fourth, and Brian in fifth, who kept skidding all over, training to gain traction. Kim did actually better than expected, managing to keep the other racer in fourth, with a surprised and satisfied smirk on her face.

"Wow, this is fast. And furious." Kim smiled, amazed that she's a better racer.

"Damn, she's fast!" the fourth racer groaned.

"Brian, you still with me?" Kim asked on her earpiece as she saw he was still far behind.

"Yeah. Don't worry. I'll be able to catch up!" Brian smirked, still impressed with Kim's racing skills. Kim smirked to herself.

Edwin saw Kim still behind him, but catching up to him. "Let's go! You bring it!" Edwin smirked. Kim smirked back, seeing that as a challenge. But Dominic still remained in first. Brian saw he was getting nowhere to the lead, so he activated stage one on his onboard system and Nos1. With that, the car got an extra boost, speeding past the other racer, putting Brian in fourth, almost neck to neck with Kim. But the system malfunctioned and his car sputtered and smoked, coming to a halt, allowing the other racer to get back into the game.

"Brian!" Kim exclaimed as he saw Brian's Eclipse break down, meaning he lost.

"Remember: do the best you can!" Brian shouted through the earpiece. Kim saw she was nowhere near passing by Edwin.

"Let's see what this car can do." Kim smirked, activating both nos systems, allowing her to speed by quickly. "WHOO HOO!"

The girl who can do anything was finally able to speed past Edwin, putting him in third place, much to his disappointment. "NO! MONICA!" Edwin whined.

Kim smirked to herself, actually still doing pretty amazingly well. Why didn't she take up racing before? She would have beaten Danica Patrick easily and took home a NASCAR cup. "This is it." Kim smirked, feeling more confident as she was finally neck to neck with Dominic. She then gasped as she found herself passing him by, now thinking she could win.

Seeing Kim's Enzo pass him, he decided to pull off one last surprise. He then engages his own hidden nitrous system on his Mazda RX-7, allowing him to to speed by Kim, who was immediately wide eyed when she saw Dominic take the finish line, winning him the race. Kim skidded to a halt, still shocked over losing so easily. "How did I not see that coming?!" Kim asked herself. She hated beating herself over losing her first race, but she knew that now that she and Brian lost, they would need to find a new way to gain Dom's respect.

Ron ran up to Kim's Enzo excitedly. "Kim, man that guy was serious! He nitro his baby and won!" Ron smiled, but when he saw Kim's forlorn face, he frowned with concern. "But you did well too…"

"I lost." Kim whispered, feeling humiliated.

On the other end of the street, Dominic, Edwin, and the other racer stopped to adore the crowd who all gathered around the winner: Dom. He smiled as Hector handed him the cash he won. "My sister holds the money. Count it." Dom said as he handed the cash to Mia and lovingly carried Letty. "You're my trophy." Letty giggled at that.

Kim and Brian came back in their cars, with Ron in the front seat, and Kim still moping over losing. She knew Britina would be alright with losing her car. The pop princess could buy more of them. But that couldn't hide the fact that they would have to find a new way to get Dominic's trust. But what stung Kim most of all was the fact that she lost. She thought she had it in the bag, but somehow, she wasn't that skilled in racing after all if she couldn't beat Toretto.

"Hey…" Brian smiled, trying to cheer Kim up. "You did the best you could. You actually did great! You could be the next Danica Patrick." Kim managed a little smile at that as they continued to watch the people admiring Dom and his crew.

Kim kept her smile as she, Ron, and Brian got out of their cars and Jesse went to check on them. The crowd made teasing noises over the state of Brian's car, knowing it was messed up. But it could still run. Dom then noticed Kim still trying to be a good sport by keeping her smile. "What are you smiling about?" Dom asked Kim.

"I almost had you!" Kim giggled, to which the crowd cheered and Dom smirked.

"You, the girl who can do anything, except win a race, almost had me?" Dom shot back. "Get your cheerleader mind out of your happiness bubble and listen to this: you never had me. Heck, the buster here never had his car." Everyone groaned teasingly as Kim lost her smile. "You've been trying too hard to be more like Danica that you didn't noticed you were granny shifting, and double clutching like you should. You're lucky that you activated that hundred shot of nos at the right moment instead of too early like Spinler here. And he should be lucky it didn't blow the intake." He then scoffed as Kim and Brian started to think that Dom might be a prime suspect after all.

"Almost had me?" Dom continued. "You still think that winning isn't everything? Ask any racer, any real racer. It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile. Winning's winning!" The crowd cheered at that as Kim frowned some more, feeling more upset over that speech than anything Bonnie would have said.

Vince was still listening to his police scanner when he heard, "Available units, we have reported street racing along Hawthrone…"

"Oh shit! We got cops, cops, cops! GO!" Vince shouted, and with that, every person on the street got into their cars, not wanting to get arrested as they drove off.

"Well, this was fun!" Ron smiled as he and Kim got into the Enzo.

"Yeah, it makes the prospect of us getting arrested seem fun too!" Kim said sarcastically while glaring at Ron as they sped off.

Dominic got into his Mazda RX-7 and sped off which Kim and Brian noticed. "Follow me and don't do anything crazy!" Brian said into the earpiece, to which Kim nodded and turned the car around. She and Brian then began to follow Dom as the cops converged on the scene.

Dom was hoping to evade the police as he followed some other racers. So, he drove into a parking garage as a cop car was following him. The cop car continued to follow the other racers, allowing Dominic a chance to escape. He then got into the second level and parked the car. After making sure the coast was clear, he got out and put on his jacket. He walked outside when he saw another cop car racing by before turning around and facing him.

"Toretto! Stop right there!" A cop shouted, making Torreto's skin turn white as he became nervous over the prospect of being arrested. He then ran away into an alley, hoping to give himself some speed on foot. He then saw Kim's Ferrari Enzo pull up and Ron now in the backseat. "Get in!" Kim said. Dominic turned wide eyed again for a second. The world famous Kim Possible is helping someone like him not go to jail? Deciding to question it later, Dom hopped into the front seat as Kim sped off away from the cop car.

"Hard right, KP!" Ron shouted about the turn. Kim nodded and did just that, allowing the cop car that was following them to crash into another car.

"I hope I don't get grounded over that." Kim said sheepishly before noticing a couple more cop cars converging, but Kim swiveled, allowing her to escape them and drive off. As Dom continued to look for more cops, Kim met up with Brian's 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse. "All good on your end, Brian?"

"Pretty much. We should be fine for the rest of the night." Brian said through his ear piece. Dom was just lucky to escape being arrested that he didn't even question it.

"You OK?" Kim asked with concern in her voice.

"Yeah…you're the last person I'd expect to show up." Dom commented. "You know you could get into a lot of trouble for this."

"Don't I know it." Kim sighed. "I just thought if me and Spinler got into your good graces, you may let us keep our cars?" She smiled sheepishly at that.

"You both are in my good graces, but you ain't keeping your cars." Dom said firmly. "I have to admit, I was impressed with your racing skills." Kim managed a warm smile at that. "I'd thought your sports were cheerleading and kicking bad guy ass." Kim giggled at that.

"Kim is more than just that. She can do…" Ron began to say.

"I know. She can do anything. I read the website." Dominic smirked. "There's a good possibility you're gonna end up in juvie over this."

"There's no way that's gonna happen. My parents will kill me first." Kim smirked. "You're not gonna snitch, are you?"

"You mean narc? Nah, I don't narc on anybody. Especially the people who saved my life." Dom smiled. "What about Spinler? Did he do time?" Kim then put her earpiece down, allowing Dominic to hear him.

"Did a couple of overnighters, yeah." Brian answered.

"What about the two years in juvie for boosting cars?" Dom asked, showing the three that he had done his research on Brian. "Tucson, right?"

"How'd you know about Spinler?" Ron asked.

"I had Jesse run a profile on him." Dom answered. "Just like your friend who runs your website, he'll find anything on anybody. So why would you really want to bullshit me?"

"Hey! I'm not…trying to bluff." Kim shot back. "But what about you, Dom? How much time you've done?"

"Two years in Lompoc" Dom said solemnly. "I'll die before I go back."

Next chapter, Kim, Ron, and Brian learn more about Dom and his rivals, and family life.
