It wasn't long after Modo got off the phone, then got dressed. He decided to put a button down shirt on instead of a regular t-shirt. He was looking for the right color of shirt. He was wearing black jeans, so maybe a light blue shirt.

He grabbed the shirt then walked over to the mirror. He held it up against himself and liked what he saw. The only thing he didn't like any more was the eye patch. He knew I had helped Throttle with his sight, so he was hoping I would do the same thing.

Modo took the eye patch off, set it on the dresser, then grabbed the pair of sunglasses that were also sitting on the dresser. He put them on then looked in the mirror to see how they looked. He liked how they looked, so he got his brand new studded black boots on then went down to the garage. He got on his bike, put his helmet on then backed his 2-wheeled baby out of the garage.

He got off his bike, rolled the garage door down, then got back on his bike. He headed for home to cook one of his favorite childhood meals for everyone.

Modo arrived home in about 30 mins. He took his time getting home. He stopped by the flower shop and got a bouquet of flowers for Michelle. He was in a great mood, too.

Shortly after pulling up to the house, Modo turned off the engine, took his helmet off then got off his bike. He got the flowers out of his saddle bag, closed it then walked over to me with the flowers behind his back.

Modo stood behind me and brought the flowers from behind his back with his tail. He presented them to me.

"These are for you, beautiful."

I turned around after taking the flowers. I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him.

"You didn't have to do this, honey. It was very sweet of you, though."

"Who are your friends, sweetheart?"

I turned back around and introduced Orion and Thomas to Modo.

"Orion here, use to be the principal at the high school I went to. Thomas is also an old friend of mine. He was a Gunnery Sgt. when I started in the Marines. He made sure I made it through and become the Marine I am today."

Modo bent over a bit and whispered in my ear about my meds and if I had taken them today. I nodded.

Both Orion and Thomas looked at me weirdly. I told them that he was asking me something personal. They nodded in understanding, then we all went inside.

I took one more sniff of the flowers, then followed everyone inside. They were beautiful and Modo was very sweet to bring me a bouquet unexpectedly.

After we were all inside, I told them they have to take their boots off before going any further into the house.

Modo took his boots off, then headed for the kitchen to cook dinner for everyone. I looked towards the kitchen while taking my shoes off.

"Honey, I don't expect you to cook tonight. Especially, since we have guests. Before you called or came home, I suggested going out for dinner. You can cook tomorrow."

"Are you sure you don't want me to cook, honey?"

I smiled and nodded. "You've cooked all week. You need a break, sweetheart. Besides, there's a new place that just opened up and I wanna try it tonight."

"I think we saw that place when we came into town. It looked real busy."

"Well, let's hope we can get in. I saw the commercial for the grand opening and it looks like they have some good food. It's a buffet type restaurant."

I stopped in the kitchen to put the flowers in a vase. While I was filling the vase with water, I saw someone pull into the driveway. I didn't recognize the bike, but I did recognize the rider. I didn't even need the rider to take off their helmet to know who it was. I was not happy that he was here. He was told not to drop by at all. He was out of my life for good.

"Oh Modo dear. Please come into the kitchen."

He could tell I wasn't happy about something by the way my tone of voice was. He walked into the kitchen and saw the look on my face and saw where I was pointing at.

"Why is he here? He was told not to drop by at all."

"Please don't get upset."

"Give me a good reason why I shouldn't? I want him gone…now."

Modo was about to say something but thought better of it. He nodded then went out to tell Throttle to leave.

Throttle had gotten off his bike after he had taken his helmet off. Modo had walked out and told Throttle he needs to leave.

"She told you that you can't just drop by any more. She doesn't want you around any more."

"She doesn't have the guts to come out here and tell me herself? She really is a bitch then. I'm sorry, Modo. As long as you and her are together, I can't stay friends with you. I know it's not what you wanna hear, but until you decide to leave her,…."

"I won't leave my wife, Throttle. You're right, we can't be friends any more. I'll choose my wife over our failed friendship any day. Leave and don't ever come back or call me. If you do either of those, I will file for a restraining order."

Throttle got the hint. He put his helmet back on, got back on his bike then left. I watched Modo come back inside.

"You ok?"

Modo smiled at me and nodded.

"Throttle tried to get me to leave you in order for him and I to stay friends. I told him that I won't leave my wife. I also told him that I would choose my wife over my failed friendship with him any day. I mean it, too. Our love for each other is more important to me than any friendship with him."

"You are more loving than he ever was. I feel like I married the wrong guy first time around. You bring me presents and flowers unexpectedly, which I love. You cook all the time, even when I don't expect you to. You don't judge me for having a mental illness. You love me for me. You're the best guy ever, Modo. I love you so much."
