ENZUK POV
For the sake of this Sci-Fy take on Twight, Edward's name has been modified to Enzuk. Well...he is from a distant planet. Bare with me. lol. Enjoy.
I observed intently as the male human pushed the small female human away in a wheelchair. It was hard to fathom how she had the nerve to confront me again after I nearly tore her leg off during our initial encounter. Perhaps I should have finished the job back then. Clearly, she hadn't learned her lesson.
Disgusting human.
She had taken my blood, and it didn't sit well with me. Who did this inferior human think she was, having any authority over me? I, one of the most esteemed warriors of my kind.
Oh, how I relished every moment when I made that female human scream as I dragged her across the floor. I could feel her feeble hands desperately trying to free my tail from around her slender leg, but these humans were pathetically weak. Especially the females. My kind was justified in eradicating them from Earth. They were nothing but stubborn, feeble creatures who wreaked havoc on the planet. Parasites. I despised them. Death was too kind a fate for them, in my opinion.
When I wrapped my tail around her leg, I had an intense desire to end the life of the female. I craved her blood so fiercely. However, I also knew that I couldn't eliminate her just yet. She was the first female human I had encountered during my mission, and they had become incredibly scarce due to their vulnerability. Most of them had perished, making it surprising to learn that one had managed to survive. Upon seeing her, I immediately deduced that she was the scientist I had been searching for. My mission revolved around her.
She was the individual responsible for creating the serum that had eradicated the other animal creatures we had unleashed upon Earth. It fell upon me to locate her and uncover any other weapons the humans had concealed. The confirmation of her identity came when I overheard the human males referring to her as Dr. Swan. Swan, a peculiar name. Nevertheless, I could sense that she was the one.
Soon after, the female human approached to extract my blood. Her attire mirrored that of the scientists we had mercilessly slaughtered in other facilities, further confirming that she was indeed my target.
However, her presence near me was displeasing. She was incredibly small and vulnerable. I could sense her fear, and she had every reason to fear me. How could she audaciously approach a warrior like myself, without any protection, and expect me not to assert my dominance over her?
For a while, I struggled to suppress my urge to tear her apart and consume her, because I knew I needed her alive. I needed to uncover any hidden weapons they possessed before initiating the final attack. Naturally, the only way to achieve that was to allow myself to be captured and studied, while conducting my own investigations in secret. It was an inconvenience and, quite frankly, beneath me.
I had almost succeeded in allowing her to take the blood sample she desired, until she patted me as if I were some kind of animal. I assumed it was intended as a comforting gesture, but the touch of her small, trembling hands on my armor only infuriated me. And her fearful scent only made her more tempting to devour.
I lost control.
As I pulled her closer to me, I was prepared to sink my claws into her chest. Once again, I had to remind myself of the mission. So, instead of taking her life, I settled for her blood as retribution for the blood she had taken from me.
When I let her go, another feeble male dragged her away while shooting at me and ordered me to be shocked. It was tempting to break free from the pathetic chains, attack the wounded human, and make her my prey, while the male human watched helplessly as his feeble attempts to protect her failed. However, I resisted the urge. I held back, knowing that all her blood would eventually be mine. I just had to be patient.
And yet, despite everything, the female human decided to return and visit me. Clearly, she had no sense whatsoever. She was nothing like the wise ones from the past. It was almost amusing that the males would even allow such a weak human near me once, but to let her do it again, especially with her injuries, was just plain foolish. If I didn't need to find out what weapons they were hiding, I would have killed her the moment she dared to look at me, as she sat in a strange contraption with wheels. She was both infuriating and irritating. Did she really need another reminder of my power?
Clearly, she lacked good judgment and proper fear. If we were on my planet, she would never approach me with such confidence. In fact, she wouldn't even be allowed in my presence without a valid reason, such as providing pleasure or food. I couldn't help but smirk. Yes. I was sure she could at least provide those things.
I was infuriated by the fact that she actually believed she had the audacity to challenge and intimidate me. I must admit, she possessed a certain level of determination and I found her unwavering bravery intriguing. However, the male human was justified in instructing her to retreat. Perhaps her fearless nature was what set her apart and allowed her to survive in comparison to other women. Maybe that was her secret weapon.
Nevertheless, she should have been more aware. The cell in which I was confined was nothing more than a feeble imitation of a cage, constructed from subpar materials that I could easily break through. The pain from the electric shocks? It was a cleverly concocted deception. Undoubtedly, they caused some discomfort, but not to the extent that I pretended they did.
I attempted to caution her by standing tall, yet despite sensing her fear, she remained undeterred. I couldn't comprehend why she would dare to challenge me in her weakened state. Was she truly oblivious? Didn't she realize how swiftly I could end her life? Couldn't she perceive that the male humans were incapable of safeguarding her? Didn't she understand that nothing could shield her if I chose to attack?
Based on my observations, these new male humans were lacking in both their ability to protect and procreate. How did they even manage to reproduce? It was astonishing how rapidly they multiplied. The male humans possessed minuscule reproductive organs, every single one of them. How could the females willingly choose to mate with such inferior males?
Perhaps the females were simply less intelligent and more accepting. However, I pondered, maybe I could exploit this to my advantage.
It was evident that the female scientist had a strong desire to collaborate with me. Or rather, I seemed to ignite her curiosity. She took the initiative to dim the lights, which I appreciated greatly. Their bright and flickering illumination had been a constant annoyance, irritating my eyes and perpetually putting me in a foul mood.
Adding to my already sour disposition, I had to deal with this... this subservient female human who had the audacity to threaten me and act as if she was my protector. It was hard to digest her claims of saving me, as she genuinely believed she held the power to keep me safe. It was preposterous to think she had the upper hand and that I depended on her.
The shocks to my neck caused pain, but not enough to deter me if I allowed myself to become fully enraged. I had the capability to effortlessly eliminate each and every one of them. However, I needed to ascertain if the humans possessed any clandestine weaponry that could be used against my kind. Allowing even a single warrior to fall into their hands would be utterly unacceptable.
I let out a sigh. Despite the female's presence infuriating me, she was precisely what I required to buy time. I wasn't obligated to collaborate with her, but I could let her play the role of a scientist and believe she had the upper hand while I completed my mission. I would make her believe she was getting closer to me. Yes, I would keep her in close proximity. Once I had gathered all the necessary information, I would take immense pleasure in ending her life.
As always, please share your thoughts. Would love to hear from yall. Thanks for reading.
