Chapter 2

Back at the Lumiose City, I'm carrying the three Pokeballs with me with Professor Sycamoer's quest. "I wonder who will be the new trainer that will have these Pokemon?"

Elline says, "Whoever it is, I think all the Pokemon are good choices."

Clemont says, "You know, Ash. I confess I'm a little in awe of you!"

"In awe?" I ask.

"You were willing to do anything you could to help Pikachu and that Garchomp back there. Just watching you gave me courage."

"Come on, it wasn't that big of a deal." I say.

"I have to agree with Clemont. I can totally understand why Froakie chose you." David says.

After we arrive at the Pokemon Center, Nurse Joy asks, "Good morning. At this Pokemon Center, helping Pokemon in need is our number 1 goal. We're here for trainers and Pokemon alike!"

I say, "I was hoping you could help me register for the Kalos League and the Contests, not to mention I also need to access with the Showcases as well."

Nurse Joy says, "Ah, you must be Ash Ketchum. Your Grandmother has told me about your special case to the Showcase, just place your Rotom Phone here."

While the progress is doing, Clemont asks, "You're attending showcases? But those are for girls..."

Elline says, "If you don't know, Ash is a perfect actor. His crossdressing is very beautiful."

"Really? Can I see it?" Bonnie asks. I say, "Maybe sometime."

After the registration is finished, Nurse Joy says, "Thank you for your registration, Ash. The upcoming Contest will be held at Aquacorde Town."

"That is great, I also need to go there since I have been asked to do something by Professor Sycamore." I say.

After we get to the gate, I say, "Clemont, Bonnie, thank you for guiding us through the Lumiose City."

Bonnie says, "No problem, Ash."

Clemont asks, "Hey, Ash. Can we travel with you three? You showed me what it's like to have real courage! I know I can get stronger by traveling with you. So... That okay?"

Elline says, "That is great! It will be fun. We'll have a great time."

"She's right." I say as we all head to Aquacorde Town.

(Serena's POV)

I'm now dressed up as I'm ready to meet Ash. I'm trying several hats, but I can't decide until a door knock comes.

"Come in!" I say as my Mom goes inside the room.

"Hey, Serena, are you going out?" Grace asks.

Since she's here, how about she decide what hat I should wear? There are two hats left, one is a pink one and the other is a snow cap.

"Mom, which one do you like?" I ask.

Grace says, "I choose that one." She points at the snow cap.

"Then I'll be wearing this." I decide to put on my pink hat. My Mom sighs, "You didn't need to ask me if you have decided."

"The best choice is the opposite choice of yours. Mom." I say.

"I see… So where are you going?" Grace asks.

"I am going to Aquacorde Town, I hear that there's a Contest held there... If I know Ash very well, he'll definitely attend that one." I say.

When I open the door, we find two people who are waiting for me. One is Shauna, and the other one is Calem, my cousin who just moved into Vaniville Town a few days ago.

Shuna says, "Guess what! We've come to get you!"

Calem says, "The renowned Professor Sycamore lives here in the Kalos region. I heard he has a task for six kids including us. But I'm surprised he knows who I am, I mean, I just moved in from Vaniville Town."

"We'll wait for you in the next town over! And you know what?! We're going to get...a Pokémon! C'mon! Hurry! Let's go!" Then Calem and Shauna leave as I follow them until we reach Aquacorde Town.

After arriving there, we find Calem, Shauna, Trevor, and Tierno waiting for me. Shauna says, "Hey, Serena! This way! Over here!"

After I take a seat, she says, "We were just talking about Calem! C'mon, have a seat!"

I sit down as they continue the introductions to Calem. I say, "Here, let me introduce you. Everyone, this is my cousin Calem."

"Wow...Shauna's description was spot on!"

"So, Calem, this is Tierno. He's got some serious dance moves, and... This is Trevor. He never misses a single question on his tests, but he's a little shy..."

"I see. It's nice to meet you." Calem says.

"All right! Nice to meetcha! You know, it'd feel like we were a closer crew if we called each other by nicknames. Can I call you C-Meister?"

"What? No way! He's a Li'l C, for sure! What do you think, Trevor?" Shauna says.

"What?! You want me to nickname someone I just met?! Shauna, you shouldn't put people on the spot like this. Well...how about something low key? Maybe...something like Big C..." Trevor says.

Calem says, "Guys, I really don't like nicknames. So how about we stop at that?"

"Alright, Calem. I'm sure we're gonna be great friends. Hey! Can we see the Pokémon now? I want to meet my new partner soon! " Shauna asks.

"I know right? It was such a cool feeling when Trevs and I met our Pokémon! Hope you feel the same way we did! But the truth is... there is someone who's going to send the Pokemon here..." Tierno says.

Just then, I hear familiar cries, and we look up to see two Charizards approaching with five people on their backs. One of them is Ash!

(Ash's POV)

By riding the flying Pokémon, we arrive at Aquacorde Town. Clemont says, "I don't want to fly with Charizard again…"

Bonnie says, "Come on, Clemont! It is fun!"

"I agree, nothing better than a Pokemon riding." Elline says. "Thanks for the ride, Charla."

Charla roars before I recall both of them. "Ash! You're here!"

I recognize Serena's voices as I find her with four other people. "Hey Serena."

Bonnie immediately bends down to her knees and says, "You are a keeper! Please take care of my brother!"

"Ehh?" Serena is surprised as Clemont uses his Aipom Arm to grab her. "Bonnie! I told you many times that not to do that!"

"But I need to find you a wife!" Bonnie retorts back.

"Wife?" Serena blurts out, I somehow feel a little angry and I say, "Bonnie, your brother is right. You can't just do that to people who you just meet."

"No way... is this Ash Ketchum? The real deal?" The chubby one says, and Serena says, "Oh. Ash, I want to introduce you to my friends Shauna, Tierno, and Trevor. And this is Calem, my cousin who moved from the Galar Region."

"It is nice to meet all of you. Calem and Shauna, right? Are you the ones who need the Starter Pokemon?"

"We are!" Shauna says. "Does that mean you are the one who will deliver to us?"

"Of course." I say while taking out the three Pokemon, Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie. "There are three choices for you, Chespin, the Grass-type, Fennekin, the Fire-type, and Froakie, the Water-type."

Calem and Shauna are happy to see the Pokemon, and Shauna says, "OK! My partner is Froakie! Wow! We got together great! The two of us are just way-ay-ay too cute! "

Calem says, "Good to meet you, Chespin. My name's Calem. Because of you, I can finally become a real Pokémon Trainer. Thanks!"

Since Fennekin is the one who is left out, Serena says, "Hey, Ash... do you think we can take care of this Fennekin? I mean she's so cute."

The Fennekin immediately hops onto Serena's arms, and I say, "Why not? I mean, we can tell Professor Sycamore the news."

David says, "Calem and Shauna, right? Allow me to borrow your Rotom Phones for a while."

After the two of them lend David the phone, he does something and says, "It is something that will help you understand Pokémon on a much deeper level, the Pokedex App. It's a high-tech application that automatically records the Pokémon you encounter. The reason you get one is because the professor wants you to go on a journey with your Pokémon and complete the Pokédex. To put it another way, it's an important mission for the professor. I'm sure of it!"

Elline takes out two letters and says, "And the Professor also wants you to deliver these to your mothers."

After Shauna and Calem take the letters, I say, "Now that our errand is done, we're going to partake in the Aquacorde Contest."

Tierno says, "You're attending the Contest as well? Me too! That means we will be rivals."

"That's surprising to hear. But may the best coordinator wins." I say.

As the contest starts, Lillian is the emcee as she says, "Welcome you all to the Aquacorde Contest!" She then introduces the three judges, formed by the Vice Director of the Contest Committee, Mr. Contesta; the President of the Pokémon Enthusiasts Club, Mr. Sukizo; and the operator of the local Pokémon Center, Nurse Joy.

"Now let the contest begin with the Appeal Rounds!" Lillian says.

As the first round is going on, Bonnie says, "Wow…they are so beautiful!"

Shauna says, "I know. Those stuff are really flashy."

"So this is the first time you're seeing Contests?" Serena asks, and Clemont says, "It is actually the first time for us."

Tierno uses the dance moves with the Corphish, they are using the rhythm with Hydro Pump, causing him to get a score of 29.5.

"And the last contestant, please welcome Ash Ketchum!"

As Ash comes to the stage, I decide to go with my Alakazam, "Alakazam, let's time to show the crowd what we are made of!"

As the Pokeball opens, Alakazam appears with stars beside him. It starts with the Kinesis to twist the spoons, then using the Psyshock and Psychic to create the show using the bent spoons. All the moves go well with the flow, and I finish with the Light Screen that bounces the attacks into one. I get a score of 30, no doubt about it.

"The highest score of 30! Everyone, please give our Ash Ketchum a cheer!" Lillian says as everyone cheers.

"Alright! He did it!" Bonnie says.

"Wow, he is amazing." Trevor says.

As the top 8 that are going to the second round shows, Tierno and I are on the list.

"Well, we will be facing each other soon." Tierno says.

"Yeah, I am going to win this." I say.

After a few rounds, I also win with my Absol finishing a Grumpig with a Night Slash, and now I'm facing Tierno in the finals.

"So it is Ash versus Tierno." Clemont says.

"I wonder who will win." Bonnie says.

"I will be cheering for my cousin of course." Elline says.

In the final round, Tierno says, "So we will be facing each other."

"I know. And I am not going to back down." I say.

Tierno sends out a Pikachu, and I decide to go with Samurott. As the match begins, Tierno starts to go with the rhythm and uses Thunderbolt, Samurott dodges and uses Hydro Pump, only to be dodged by the quick moves. At the same time, my points have been lower than Tierno's due to Samurott's attack being dodged. As the time only 2 minutes left, I decide to go for Water Pulse, which confuses Pikachu.

"What?" Tierno says in shock as Pikachu is now confused, its rhythm is also out of order.

"Good, now Samurott, use Swords Dance with the Blizzard!" Samurott freezes the sword energy and then shoots at Pikachu, causing Tierno to lose a huge amount of points. As the time is up, my points are higher than Tierno's.

"It is decided! The winner of the Aquacorde Contest is Ash Ketchum! Everyone! Please give him the greatest applause!" Lillian says as everyone cheers, and I'm also rewarded with the first ribbon.

Back outside, Ash shows his first ribbon to them, Bonnie says, "It looks so good."

"Yeah, you need four more to get the Grand Festival." Clemont says.

Tierno says, "Ash. It is really fun to have a battle with you. I hope we can face each other once again."

Ash shakes his hand and says, "The feeling is mutual."

Calem says, "Ash, I also hear that you're challenging the League, right? I'm going to attend it as well."

"I see, I wish you good luck." I say.

Shauna says, "So this is a farewell, huh? I hope we will see each other again."

"Bye!" Everyone says as they part ways. Then we decide to call Professor Sycamore, and he also approves for us to take care of Fennekin.

Fennekin: The Fox Pokemon: Fire Type. As it walks, it munches on a twig in place of a snack. It intimidates opponents by puffing hot air out of its ears.

"So Serena, since it's your turn, do you want to come with us?" I ask.

"Of course, you know, all this time I've been traveling with you in Kanto, this is actually my second region to travel with you." Serena says with a slight pout.

"Sorry about that." I say while rubbing my head, then we all decide to head to the Pokemon Center to take a rest.

Here is a new chapter, and Ash gets his first ribbon in the Kalos Region. I hope you like it and the next chapter will be the Pokemon capturing.
