"Hey!" Kakashi greeted Sakura as he entered her office.
"Hey yourself." Sakura greeted back, smiling.
"Ready for lunch?"
"Yeah." she answered and stood up. She took Kakashi's pre-offered hand and his finger brushed on the ring that he gave her.
Kakashi stopped and raised Sakura's hand and stared at the ring that she wears.
Kakashi's gaze lingered on the ring that adorned Sakura's finger. It was the same ring he had given her during their lunch, a symbol of his commitment to making their relationship work. Seeing it on her hand filled him with a mix of joy and hope.
"You're wearing the ring," he observed, a soft smile forming on his lips.
Sakura looked down at the ring, her fingers tracing the delicate design. She met Kakashi's gaze with a tender expression. "I've been thinking, Kakashi, and I believe in us. I believe in the love we share, and I want to give our relationship another chance."
Kakashi's visible eye crinkled in a wide smile, and he pulled Sakura closer to him, wrapping his arms around her. "Thank you, Sakura," he whispered. "I promise you won't regret it. I'll cherish this chance with all my heart."
As Kakashi held her, Sakura felt a renewed sense of hope and happiness. Their journey towards mending their relationship had been filled with challenges, but they were both committed to building a loving and stable family for Hana.
Sakura watched the gentle rise and fall of Kakashi's chest as he sleep in her couch. A new couch as she threw the couch where she treated him.
"Kakashi." she shook him awake. "Kakashi."
"Hm?" Kakashi open his eyes so fast that it startled Sakura. "What?"
"Come to bed, Kakashi." she said.
"What?"
"I said, come to bed." Sakura reiterated. "You're going to ruin your spine here. And your legs dangle on the end, I can't see that position as very comfortable."
Kakashi stretched and yawned, blinking away his drowsiness. He had fallen asleep on Sakura's couch after he read Hana her story. He sat up, realizing that Sakura was right, and his current position wasn't the most comfortable.
Sakura stood up and offered him a hand. "Let's get you to bed. You need to rest."
Kakashi accepted her hand and allowed her to help him up. Together, they made their way to the bedroom, and Sakura gently guided him to lie down on the bed.
Sakura covered him with a blanket and adjusted his position so he could sleep more comfortably. She looked down at him with a soft smile. "Rest well, Kakashi. I'll be here when you wake up."
Kakashi nodded, his exhaustion catching up to him. He closed his eyes and settled in for a much-needed rest, feeling grateful for Sakura's care and her willingness to give their relationship another chance.
"Papa!" a girl squealed that it woke up both Kakashi and Sakura. Hana flung herself on Kakashi's chest. "You're here. You're here!"
Kakashi's eyes fluttered open as he heard Hana's excited voice. He wrapped his arms around his daughter, hugging her tightly. "Hey, Hana, yes I'm here."
"You slept here, Papa!" the girl squealed again. "You're not going to sleep far away again?" she excitedly asked.
Sakura smiled at the rambunctious girl this erly in the morning. "Yes, Hana." she answered for Kakashi. "He's staying here."
Hana's face lit up with pure joy as she heard Sakura's words. "Really, Mama? Papa's going to stay here with us?"
Sakura nodded, her eyes filled with warmth and affection. "Yes, sweetheart. Papa's going to stay here with us. He's not going to sleep far away anymore."
Hana's excitement was palpable as she squeezed her arms around Kakashi's neck. "I'm so happy, Papa! We'll be a family together!"
Kakashi's heart swelled with happiness as he held his daughter close. "I'm happy too, Hana. We'll be a family together, just like you said."
Sakura watched the heartwarming exchange between Kakashi and Hana, and her heart felt lighter knowing that they were taking the steps to build a stronger family bond. It was a new beginning for all of them, and they were ready to embrace it.
As Hana continued to chatter excitedly, Kakashi and Sakura exchanged a knowing glance. They both understood that their journey would still have its challenges, but they were committed to working through them and providing a loving and stable home for their daughter.
