One year later...

"So you sure about this, Sakura?" Tsunade asked her, looking sternly at Kakashi.

"Yes, Shishou." she beamed.

"Hatake, I didn't expect this." Tsunade said. "Can't you give the girl a better one than this?"

"She's the one who decided this." Kakashi defensively said.

"Its okay, shishou. It will be detrimental to my bank account, if I had to feed Naruto either way."

"So, you're the one who is expected to pay? Really, Hatake?"

"He's my friend, shishou, of course, I am expected to pay for him." she answered with a pout, defending Kakashi from a barrage of Tsunade's accusations. "And I won't let him spend too much, I can contribute, I'm not your best medic for nothing."

"Hatake, I swear to my grandfater's grave, if you even hurt her again, you are going to follow your father in the afterlife earlier that you expected." Tsunade threatened him.

"Received loud and clear, Hokage-sama." Kakashi answered her.

"You sure about this, Sakura?" She asked again and watched as her apprentice nod. "Alright." she affixed her signature and seal to the document. "I guess, congratulations are in order."

"Thank you, Hokage-sama." Kakashi thanked his superior.

"I'll just send the marriage certificate to your residence once the civil registry processed it." She informed the two. "Shizune, file this, okay?"

"Hai, Hokage-sama!"

"Go, and take care of her, Hatake."

"I will." he promised.

Sakura beamed with happiness, feeling a sense of excitement and contentment as she and Kakashi left the Hokage's office. The road to rebuilding their relationship had been filled with challenges, but they had come a long way. Their commitment to each other and to their family had led them to this moment, and they were ready to embrace the next chapter of their lives.

Kakashi took Sakura's hand and squeezed it gently as they walked together through the village. "I can't believe that you're legally mine," he said, his voice filled with a mixture of joy and disbelief. "I love you so much, Sakura."

Sakura's heart swelled with love and happiness as she looked at Kakashi. The journey they had been through, the challenges they had faced, all led to this beautiful moment of commitment. She smiled at him, her emerald eyes sparkling.

"I love you too, Kakashi," she replied, her voice filled with affection. "And I'm ready to start this new chapter of our lives together as a family."

As they continued to walk through the village hand in hand, they knew that their journey was far from over, but they were ready to face whatever challenges came their way. With their love and commitment, they were determined to build a strong and loving family, creating a bright future for themselves and their daughter, Hana.
