"It's a girl," the doctor announced.

"Is she okay," Becky asked sobbing.

Jesse looked over at the beautiful baby in the doctor's arms. She was 3 pounds 15 ounces but otherwise perfect."

"She's perfect," Jesse said bending down to kiss the baby and then kissing Becky, "You did great Beck."

After the doctor put Becky to sleep, Jesse went to the waiting room.

"How's Becky," Danny and Joey asked in unison.

"Becky and I just had a beautiful baby girl," Jesse told them, "Becky has a tumor in her ovaries, so the doctor is giving her a hysterectomy."

"Jess," Danny said, "I'm so sorry about Becky. Is she going to be okay?"

Jesse swallowed his tears.

"The Doctor said it doesn't look like it's cancerous but she's undergoing a major operation. I don't like to admit when I'm scared but I'm terrified."

"How is the baby," Joey asked.

"She's perfect," Jesse replied.

"Have you thought of a name?"

Jesse ran a hand through his hair.

"I think we're going with Nicole Alexandra," he said, "Nicole is Becky's middle name and my sister's middle name was Alexandra."

Danny's eyes lit up.

"That's beautiful," he said

He paused.

"Look Jess," Danny said, "I know you're probably not going to want to hear this but I have to say it anyway. You need to stay positive."

"That's positively not easy," Jesse said.

"I know," Danny said gently.

"Can we see Nicole," Joey asked brightly.

Jesse nodded.

"She's in the NICU," he said, "She's really tiny. She's only 3 pounds 15 Ounces."

"She could probably fit into my pinkie finger," Danny said.

"I'm sure," Jesse said.

I'm sure," Jesse said, "But we're not going to try that."

"No kidding," Danny said with a chuckle.

"Hey, Danny!"

Danny looked in the back of him. He happened to see a friend of his.

"Adrian? What are you doing here," he asked.

He paused.

"Oh," he said, "Adrian I want you to meet my two best friends. This is my brother-in-law Jesse and my other best friend Joey. Jess, Joey this is Adrian Adams. We were college roommates."

"Nice to meet you," Jesse said.

"You too," Adrian replied with a smile, "Oh, and Danny I wanted to thank you for your friendship the other day."
