It was around ten minutes before Twilight had to return to Equestria. Flash had just walked Twilight out towards the statue with the human versions of her pony friends following.

"So…you're a magical princess?" Flash double-checked.

"In a sense. I'm actually from another realm where the dominate species are three types of ponies: Earth, Unicorn, and Pegasus. I'm a Unicorn…well Alicorn now, I became a princess recently." Twilight explained. "Unfortunately the portal I came truth closes soon, and my country, Equestria, along with my friends need me so…."

"I understand. I mean I'm sad that you have to leave and I really want you to stay, but I'd never force you away from your home." Flash smiled sadly. "And I don't care whether you're a human, pony, or princess because you're a smart, kind, caring, and brave person - or pony - and that's what's really important. That's why I really like you."

"I really like you too, for your kindness and how you know what's really important." Twilight smiled back sadly. "I wish things could work out, but we have to be realistic: I belong in Equestria and you at least need to finish school."

"You're right, but I promise I'll think of a way for us to be together after I graduate."

"Uh, people usually don't end up with the ones they date durin' high school." Applejack pointed out, earning herself an elbow jab and glare from Rarity. "Hey, it's the truth!" She protested.

"Er…well I…." Flash stammered.

"Actually, ponies tend to have good instincts about who to end up with." Twilight explained. "In fact divorce is very rare in Equestria, so there is a good chance between me and Flash. It's…just a chance that'll require a lot of work on both our parts."

"Well, writing and performing music isn't as easy as it looks so I'm used to hard work anyway." Flash chuckled before smiling affectionately to Twilight: "But even if I wasn't, you're more than worth it.

"Thank you…and so are you." Twilight smiled back affectionately.

"Thanks…I'd better leave now, I mean I don't want to but I know you want to give your friends a proper goodbye before you leave." Flash sighed sadly. "Hopefully we'll see each other again one day."

"I'll do my best to ensure that." Twilight smiled. "See you."

Flash waved goodbye to the girls before heading to his car.

"Boy, human carriages sure look sleeker and faster than pony carriages do." Twilight remarked to the girls as she watched Flash leave, having learned their species' name earlier that evening.

"They did used to be called horseless carriages when they were first invented." Applejack chuckled. "But we tend to call them cars now."

"Cars don't exist in Equestria?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Yeah, we don't really need them since we use trains and airships for most distance traveling." Twilight shrugged. "And there are only a few cities that require carriages."

After that, Twilight and the girls said their goodbyes and group-hugged.
