Hero Academia: Highschool Of The Dead

My apologies for the late post, as things got frantic here at my place and it somewhat delayed my course of working on my fanfictions, which are:

1) I was struck down with a viral infection which affected my throat and had to spend more than a few weeks to get a lot of bed rest, hence I had to pull back on working on the chapters of my fanfics

2) Last October 15, I noticed that I haven't received any notifications from fanfiction . net, ranging from reviews to story favorites and following to receiving PMs from other fanfiction . net users, and I accidentally discovered that I received some reviews for some of my fics yet it didn't register on my Yahoo mail, so I sent a message to bot at fanfiction . com for inquiries, but discovered that there IS AN ISSUE on my email address and tried various ways, which went unresolved, and I resorted to use an alternate email address, but so far there is little change.

So for those who would like to inquire something or have something in mind regarding the fics I've written, I'll provide you with an alternative way in case the email alert list and PM on fanfiction . net hasn't been resolved.

Now that I've said my piece, onto other business at hand…

Many thanks to those who read and reviewed this fic. I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter, and here the carnage at UA Academy is currently ongoing, which the teachers and students are under bloody siege, and there more are on the way…

Ch. 4: UA akademī-nai de saranaru dai gyakusatsu ga okoru

Inside the faculty of UA Academy, the scene shows that another UA student came in and she was terrified and there Thirteen check to see if the student has any bite injuries, and seeing that she is healthy and unharmed, Thirteen calmed her down and asked what is happening, where the student told the teacher what is going on, as other UA students attacked her classmates as they began to bite and EAT the other students and said that more and more UA students appeared and looked like walking corpses eating any persons they could get their hands on.

Vlad King became concerned and there he told Thirteen and Midnight to find any students who are unharmed and have them evacuated from UA Academy, and at the same time he reluctantly told the other teachers that if they encounter any UA students or teachers having any bite injuries, they would have to be taken out PERMANENTLY, which the UA teachers reluctantly nodded as they realized what Vlad King meant.

"Yeah."

The faculty members then carefully leave the faculty room and started to navigate their way around as they are making sure that they are prepared for the worst, and a few seconds later three UA students are being cornered by some INFECTED students and there the faculty members stared wide-eyed in horror as the infected students began biting and started to disembowel the trapped students, making it look like a scene from National Geographic Channel where a deer is being ripped apart by a pack of wild dogs, where the UA students screamed out as they are being bitten and eaten alive.

"AAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEE!"

"GGGGGGGGGYYYYYYAAAAAHHHHH!"

"RRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHH!"

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!"

"AAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEE!"

"GGGGGGGGGYYYYYYAAAAAHHHHH!"

"RRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHH!"

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Midnight and Thirteen stared wide-eyed in shock and disbelief as they could see the students' INNARDS are being pulled out (liver, intestines, stomach muscles and other internal tissues) as they are being EATEN ALIVE by the ZOMBIFIED UA students, and there another UA teacher attempted to save the students by grabbing a chair and smashed one of the INFECTED students on the back, but the ZOMBIFIED UA student wasn't deterred.

The ZOMBIFIED UA students then turn their attention towards the UA teacher as he tried to fight back using the chair as he struck them on their torsos, but the ZOMBIFIED students ignored the blows and began to pin down the UA teacher and began to bite him before proceeding to EAT HIM ALIVE, and the UA teacher screamed as he is being ripped apart by the biting zombies.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEE!"

"MUNCH-MUNCH-MUNCH…"

The other UA teachers were stunned by what they saw, and because they mysteriously lost their Quirks, they find themselves defenseless and this made Vlad King realized that a head-on confrontation is out of the question and there he told his fellow faculty members that they have no choice but to avoid the zombies at all costs, which the other teachers reluctantly nodded in agreement.

"Okay."

At the Support Course laboratory, Power Loader and Mei Hatsume are preparing the support weapons as they are going to defend themselves and any survivors they could find after finding out that they mysteriously lost their Quirks, hence they would have to rely on the support equipment they have to fight off the zombies, after witnessing what happened minutes ago.

There Power Loader instructed Hatsume on what she should do and in the event that she manage to get out of UA Academy she should get help immediately which she nodded, though she asked what he would do at this point, which he told her that he would do what he could to help the ones who are not infected, which she realized that he is putting himself at risk.

"You know that you're putting yourself at risk, Power Loader-sensei…"

"I do. That's why I'm instructing you to do whatever it takes to get out of UA Academy and get help…"

"Are you sure about this…?"

"Yup."

"…"

"Don't worry about me. Just go."

"I'm…not sure…"

"It'll be fine."

Power Loader assured to Hatsume that he will be okay and urged her to do as told, and the first year Support Course student reluctantly nodded as she donned an exo-suit and leaves the laboratory, and as Power Loader is preparing his own exo-suit, a UA student came and is begging for help, saying that he lost his Quirk and that he was bitten, which Power Loader realized what this means.

"Sensei!"

"Huh?"

"H-help…me…"

"Are you…?"

"My…Quirk…gone…been…bitten…"

"…"

"Please…help me…"

"Oh man…"

Checking on the student, he saw that he has several severe bite injuries and lost a considerable amount of blood, and there he told the student what would happen to him, and this terrified the student as he said that he doesn't want to die as he tells him that he wanted to graduate and become a pro hero, and begged Power Loader to help him, forgetting what the teacher told him just now about his impending zombification.

"Sorry, kid…there's nothing I can do…"

"But…but…"

"Once you're bitten…it'll take a few minutes before you TURN…"

"N-no…no…"

"I'm sorry…there's no other recourse…"

"But…I want…to graduate…and become…a pro hero…"

"Forgive me…but I must save you…before you become ONE OF THEM..."

"!"

As the terrified student looks on, Power Loader regretfully glanced at the infected student before grabbing a drill gun and jabbed it onto the side of the student's head before proceeding to drill him, causing him to scream in pain but after several seconds the student died, the sides of his head had a huge hole while his body lay in a pool of blood while his brain tissues are scattered on the floor, and Power Loader regretfully apologized as he said that at least the student died with his humanity intact and not become a zombie.

"So sorry, kid. Really."

Surprisingly a group of ZOMBIFIED UA students slowly walked towards the lab after hearing the dying student screaming, and there Power Loader puts on the exo-suit and is preparing to fight off the zombies, who were UA Academy students a while ago but now they became walking and biting corpses after being bitten and got INFECTED, leading to their zombification.

"Oh boy…this is one heck of a day…"

"RRRRRAAAAAGGGHHHH…"

There Power Loader began to fight off the zombies and managed to push them back, yet they continue to get back up, and moaned mindlessly as they only crave flesh and blood, which Power Loader realized that there is no other recourse except deal a fatal blow on their heads as it turns out that it is the zombies' only vulnerable spot, and that once the brain ceases functioning, the rest of the body would also cease functioning.

Power Loader sighed and told the ZOMBIFIED students that they are good UA Academy students yet their dreams were crushed by the sudden pandemic and told them that this is the worst situation they are in as they are TRAPPED in their current predicaments, but assured to them that at least he would free them from their sufferings in a matter of moments, though the ZOMBIFIED students seemingly hear nothing as all they could do is moan while craving for flesh and blood.

"RRRRRAAAAAGGGHHHH…"

At UA Academy's infirmary, Recovery Girl was shocked at the sudden turn of events while her intern, a 24-year old female, described as a very tall buxom woman with ridiculous curves and her physique is most pronounced by her humongous breasts. She has waist-length blonde hair that has several bangs coming down into her face, two bangs come down at the sides running all the way down that also frames her face and hazel eyes. She usually appears to be sleepy whenever she makes an appearance, but under special situations, she has a serious face that she puts on.

She is identified as Shizuka Marikawa, and there she blinked her eyes as Recovery Girl was cautiously stepping backwards as one of the students who was brought here minutes ago to have his bite wounds treated, died just several seconds ago, and now he is reanimated as a zombie, and there another UA student, who managed to come here uninjured, was horrified at what he just witnessed.

And since he is now aware that he MYSTERIOUSLY lost his Quirk, he had to make a decision and he grabbed a metallic IV stand and instinctively jabbed the rear end of the stand repeatedly onto the zombie's neck before it had a chance to get up, and Recovery Girl was forced to witness it as the UA student kept it up until the zombie is dead and the UA student apologized to his dead schoolmate and to Recovery Girl for his actions though the latter assured that he did the right thing.

"I'm sorry…I..."

"Its okay."

"But…I had no choice…I..."

"You did the right thing. You saved a pair of lives."

"But…he…"

"Its okay. At least he's free from his sufferings."

"…"

Marikawa was shown to be somewhat ditzy as she absentmindedly glanced at the corpse of the dead UA student, and there Recovery Girl told her that they need to evacuate the school as she has a feeling that the situation has already spread within the campus, and at the same time they need to find a safe zone as soon as possible due to the fact that everyone's Quirk suddenly vanished and said that it is likely that most, if not all, of Japan may have been rendered Quirkless.

"We better leave right away."

"Huh…? Right this minute…?"

"Yes. Immediately."

"But…I need to get my…"

"There's no time. We can't afford to waste time here. I have a bad feeling that everyone within UA Academy have lost their Quirks..."

"Huh…? Are you saying…?"

"Its likely that most, if not all, of Japan may have been rendered Quirkless."

"Eh?"

As the male UA student told Marikawa and Recovery Girl that they need to evacuate the infirmary and the campus, they heard a series of loud banging and saw the door getting dented, and after a minute of repeated banging the door gave way and eight zombified UA students came rushing in, and the male UA student uses the IV stand as a weapon to defend the two females but is overwhelmed by the sheer number of zombies as they proceeded to bite him non-stop.

At this point another UA student came in, but this time, it was a girl, who is armed with a steel bo staff and immediately struck the zombies on their heads with enough force that caused their heads to get crushed and disabled their brains, effectively killing them, saving Marikawa and Recovery Girl from becoming the next target of the zombies, which she checked on the two.

"Are you two okay?"

"Yes, we are."

"Um…"

"Were you two…?"

"We're fine, though that boy…"

"Um…who are you…?"

"Oh, I study here."

"She's one of the Hero Course students, Marikawa."

"Hmm…"

The UA Academy student who saved Marikawa and Recovery Girl is revealed to be is a tall teenage girl with a mature physique. She has long black hair, generally tied into a spiky ponytail with a large strand hanging on the right side of her face. Her eyes are big yet sharp, dark in color, and paired with short eyebrows set in a determined expression.

She is identified as Momo Yaoyorozu, and just before the zombie pandemic struck she was able to use her Quirk to CREATE a steel no staff as she had a habit of making staff-like weapons every morning, and from there she was quite concerned when her Quirk mysteriously vanished and after getting the gist of what is going on, she immediately head towards the infirmary of UA Academy, and uses her steel bo staff to take out some zombies along the way.

She asked if there is anyone else here, and there Recovery Girl checked on the boy, and became saddened upon seeing that he has several severe bite wounds all over his upper body, and knew that he won't last long and would TURN INTO a zombie, and there she told Yaoyorozu about it.

"Here's one…but I'm afraid that it's too late for him…"

"…"

"Even if my Quirk returns, it won't do him any good."

"Then…"

"Yes…this is the only way."

"I see…"

"I'm sorry to say but…"

"I understand."

"…"

Hope you liked this chapter, as some of the UA faculty staff members get a chance to shine, though not in a good way as they learned too late that aside from UA Academy, the city got fell by the sudden zombie pandemic…and now the UA faculty staff members are in a pinch as they suddenly became Quirkless.

Power Loader gets some screen time along with Hatsume, whilst Recovery Girl also appeared, and a character from the manga-turned-anime Highschool Of The Dead appear here, who also portrays as an intern in the UA Academy infirmary. Yup, Shizuka Marikawa would play the same role like in HOTD, only this time working with the MHA characters…

Yaoyorozu appeared and is INTRODUCED…so she would play a crucial role in the upcoming chapters…

Though Midoriya and the others are absent, they will show up again in the next chapter…

The carnage continues as UA Academy is steadily reduced to a bloodbath as more are getting killed…and that Midoriya and the others made a horrifying discovery…
