Hero Academia: Island of Giant Insects

My apologies for the late post, as things got frantic here at my place and it somewhat delayed my course of working on my fanfictions, which are:
1) I was struck down with a viral infection which affected my throat and had to make more than a few weeks to get a lot of bed rest, hence I had to pull back on working on the chapters of my fanfics
2) Last October 15, I noticed that I haven't received any notifications from fanfiction . net, ranging from reviews to story favorites and following to receiving PMs from other fanfiction . net users, and I accidentally discovered that I received some reviews for some of my fics yet it didn't register on my Yahoo mail, so I sent a message to bot at fanfiction . com but discovered that there IS AN ISSUE on my email address and tried various ways, which went unresolved, and I resorted to use an alternate email address, but so far there is little change.
So for those who would like to inquire something or have something in mind regarding the fics I've written, I'll provide you with an alternative way in case the email alert list and PM on fanfiction . net hasn't been resolved.
Now that I've said my piece, onto other business at hand…
Many thanks to those who read and reviewed this fic. I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here our heroes are facing an unexpected crisis…but…something more unexpected is about to take place…now that Class 1-B is slated to have their own encounter with GIANT INSECTS…which puts them in a situation as they are also rendered Quirkless.
Would they survive and escape together in one piece…? Or would they lose a classmate like what happened to Hagakure…?

Ch. 6: Suzumebachi no shūdan to notatakai
To show her point, the terrified teenager showed to Class 1-B the picture she took on her smartphone, and everyone stared at the picture, and they all stared wide-eyed in shock and disbelief, as the picture shows that the terrified teenagers' classmates are being attacked by giant hornets, and Kendo could not believe what she just saw.
Tokage herself could not believe this as well and asked the terrified teenager if she is serious about this, which the teenager nodded and said that the picture proves it and told Class 1-B that they are in grave danger and they need to find a place to hide, saying that once caught there is no escape. Kodai tried to calm her down but the teenager slowly became hysterical.
"Wait…"
"Please…we need to get out of here!"
"Calm down…"
"I can't! we're in danger!"
"Whoa…calm down, Sato…"
"Please! Help us!"
"Easy there…"
"Kodai!"
By then, a GIANT hornet showed up, and is ready to swoop down upon seeing Class 1-B, and out of protective nature, Tokage shoved Kodai to the ground, but she herself is caught by the giant hornet and is being taken away, and there Tokage screamed in terror.
Kodai was shocked and terrified at seeing her friend being taken away, and so was Kendo, seeing her good friend taken by the giant hornet, and there the Class 1-B president attempted to go after her, but is restrained by Awase and Tetsutetsu, telling her to calm down, but Kendo said that Tokage needs help.
"Setsuna!"
"Hold on!"
"Don't!"
"Let me go! That thing has my friend!"
"We can't act too rashly!"
"That bug's three times bigger than your usual size!"
"I can't let Setsuna die!"
"Calm down!"
"We can't rush in like that!"
"Let me go! I need to help Setsuna!"
As Tokage is being taken away, another appeared and is ready to swoop down and in a fit of panic the escapee teenager shoved Pony, Kodai and Shiozaki forward, causing the three girls to stumble forward and there the three giant hornets grab the three girls and pinned them down, and the rest of Class 1-B saw this and we're taken by surprise as Pony, Kodai and Shiozaki screamed in terror as the giant hornets are preparing to use their stingers to stab the three girls a they screamed for help.
"No!"
"Stop!"
"Let go!"
"EEEEKKK!"
"KKKYYYAAAHHH!"
"HELP!"
"SOMEONE SAVE US!"
"AAAAIIIIEEE!"
"PLEASE DO SOMETHING!"
By then Rin came up with an in idea and made his move and grabbed something from his bag, revealing a canister of perfume and a lighter and there he aimed the nozzle of the spray and pressed it, where the spray shoots out before he lit the lighter, turning it into an improvised flamethrower and aimed the flames at the hornets, which managed to wound the hornets and caused them to release their hold on the three Class 1-B girls, then back off and flee. Pony, Kodai and Shiozaki were shaken by the experience yet they sighed in relief as it was a very close call for they narrowly evaded a possible death at the hands of the giant hornets.
They thanked Rin for his help which he said that it is okay and tells them that they better stick together and figure out a way to get their Quirks back and how to escape this island, which the three girls nodded in acknowledgement.
"For now we better stick together and not stray. I believe that there maybe more of those giant bugs."
"Okay."
"Okay."
"Okay."
"And we should be more careful. Now that our Quirks are gone…we need to rely on our wits and not act reckless. For now we should be mindful of our surroundings, so don't let your guards down ."
"Okay."
"Okay."
"Okay."
However another giant hornet appeared and this time it focused its sight on the fleeing teen girl who shoved the three Class 1-B girls a while ago, and this time it succeeded as it grabbed the terrified girl before flying away. Then another appeared and this time it is heading towards Kendo but Rin instinctively intercepted the hornet and uses the spray can and lighter to produce flames and struck the hornet, and the result is that the hornet was burned to death.
There Rin approached and asked Kendo if she is okay, which she nodded and thanked him for the save.
"Kendo-san…"
"…"
"Are you okay?"
"Yes. I'm fine."
"That's good to hear."
"Thanks for saving me."
"Oh, don't mention it."
"…"
In a surprising turn of events, another pair of giant hornets showed up and are eyeing both Rin and Kendo, in which the he told her to stay back as he attempted to use the improvised flamethrower to ward off the two giant hornets, as they are poised to use their venomous stings on the targets.
Kendo tells Rin to be careful as she saw that hornets are in a position to use their stings, and Rin assured to her that he will be okay.
"Stay back, Kendo-san!"
"Rin-kun…"
"Leave those buggers to me!"
"Can you handle two at the same time?"
"Piece of cake!"
"Be careful!"
"I will!"
"…"
Suddenly, Shishida and Kamakiri jumped on the action, as they revealed that they made improvised slingshots and uses a palm-sized pebbles and used them against the giant hornets by hitting them on their eyes, causing the giant insects to temporarily get blinded and disoriented, which worked, and Rin uses the improvised flamethrower on the giant hornets and this resulted in the giant insects getting burned death.
There Rin thanked his two classmates for the assist, which they said it was nothing.
"Sure."
"No problem."
"No biggie."
"We look out for each other."
"Bugs are no problem."
"Leave it to us."
"We leave together."
"Right on."
Meanwhile Shoda is trying to calm Pony down as she appeared to suffer a bout of post traumatic stress disorder due to witnessing a girl being consumed by the giant hornets, and after seeing Tokage being taken, Pony is starting to lose her composure seeing that they are stuck in the island, but Shoda tried to assure to her that they will get back home.
A still-terrified Pony asked if he is sure, and he promised that everyone will leave the island together no matter what.
"Trust me…we'll leave this place."
"…"
"Those things won't bother us."
"Really…?"
"You have my word."
"Shoda-san…"
"Come on…"
"…"
Likewise, Kendo checked on Rin and asked if he is okay, which he said that he is, and asked her if she is harmed, and the Class 1-B president said she is fine, which Rin appeared to be relieved but said that something odd is going on here as he finds it impossible that hornets would grow as big as the size of buses and wondered what is going on in this island.
Shoda interjected and said to Rin that for now everyone within Class 1-B should stick together for the time being so that they will protect each other which Kendo nodded in agreement and told her classmates that this is what they would do for now, as well as to find Tokage and save her, which the rest of Class 1-B members nodded in acknowledgement.
"Okay."
"Okay."
"Okay."
"Okay."
"Okay."
"Okay."
"Okay."
"Okay."
Meanwhile, Kendo clenched her fists as she hasn't forgotten one fact: Tokage was taken away by a giant hornet, and Shoda noticed it and tried to calm her down, urging her not to get riled up as the Class 1-B president sighed heavily as she admitted that she felt helpless for the first time in her life, but both Shoda and Tetsutetsu assured to her that they will find Tokage and rescue her and leave this island together.
"Come on…ease up…"
"I…I…"
"There, there…it'll be okay…"
"We got to find and save Setsuna…"
"We will…but right now…we got to calm down and plan things out…"
"…"
"Right now we need to make a concrete plan and arm ourselves somehow. We mysteriously lost our Quirks so we can't just rush through."
"I…okay…"
After that Class 1-B began to move out before temporarily stopping and hid themselves within the forest and observed their surroundings, making sure that there are no giant hornets lurking in the air, and they patiently waited for a few minutes, and Shishida said that it's safe to move now and suggested that they at least find a cave to settle so that they can rest and plan their next move, and the others are in total agreement with Shishida's suggestion.
"Sure!"
"I'm in!"
"Roger that!"
"Ditto!"
"We could use a little rest…"
"Ha-ha-ha…this is all the fault of Class 1-A…!"
"Monoma…shut the hell up!"
"Yeah…can it, will you?"
And thus Class 1-B resumed their trek as they look for a place to stay and find a way to get off this island and return home to Tokyo and inform the authorities about what they just discovered.

Hope you liked this chapter, as Class 1-A are trying to come to terms with the fact that they lost Hagakure, who was killed right before their eyes, and they had to make an improvised and impromptu funeral for their fallen classmate, as they realized that they can't just leave her body behind out in the open.
And now they just encountered some GIANT praying mantises, which the class are in a further state of disbelief and now they would have to figure out how to survive the day and night without getting caught and turn into bug food…
Class 1-B are now navigating within the sane island, and now they get their first encounter with GIANT INSECTS, in which giant HORNETS appeared and took Tokage when it was targeting Kodai.
Kendo is now determined to save her classmate and would do whatever she could…
