My apologies for the late post, as things got frantic here at my place and it somewhat delayed my course of working on my fanfictions, which are:
1) I was struck down with a viral infection which affected my throat and had to make more than a few weeks to get a lot of bed rest, hence I had to pull back on working on the chapters of my fanfics
2) Last October 15, I noticed that I haven't received any notifications from fanfiction . net, ranging from reviews to story favorites and following to receiving PMs from other fanfiction . net users, and I accidentally discovered that I received some reviews for some of my fics yet it didn't register on my Yahoo mail, so I sent a message to bot at fanfiction . com but discovered that there IS AN ISSUE on my email address and tried various ways, which went unresolved, and I resorted to use an alternate email address, but so far there is little change.
So for those who would like to inquire something or have something in mind regarding the fics I've written, I'll provide you with an alternative way in case the email alert list and PM on fanfiction . net hasn't been resolved.
Now that I've said my piece, onto other business at hand…
Many thanks to those who read and reviewed this fic. I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here Kendo and Midoriya are commencing their undercover work in an effort to get a lead on where the missing high school girls went after disappearing in order to help clear Uwabami's name and to expose the true culprit…while there Class 1-A members find themselves in a situation due to getting dragged in following the aftermath of Uwabami being arrested…

Ch. 9: Moderingu sutajio no naibu
Meanwhile, the scene shifts inside the car where Taren Tomaneja is talking to Midoriya and Kendo, and he showed them a fashion magazine where teen models are on the magazine's front cover, showing teen girls are doing fashion poses, which showed how attractive they looked, seeing that it would make the models more popular to the fans and the public.
Midoriya glanced at the pages, seeing that most of the female models are wearing casual, but attractive clothes, which he wondered if his suspicions are wrong, but as he flipped the pages, he blinked his eyes as he saw some of the female models are doing fashion poses while wearing two-piece bikinis, which were sexy, yet looking wholesome enough for the masses to read.
Midoriya asked if this is okay, as Tomaneja said that Midoriya's image would be a hit, and if given the right fashion outfit, even in a swimming attire, he would become popular with the female fans, and tells Midoriya that he believed that Midoriya himself would be a hit, especially if paired with Kendo, causing the two teens to be flattered, but were blushing at the same time.
This is because it is the first time they get a compliment like that and the two teens were very humble to say that feel like they don't deserve this but Tomaneja said he believed otherwise and reiterated that he is sure that Midoriya and Kendo would be a potential hit for fashion fans and the like.
"Eh?"
"Really?"
"Yes. I'm sure that you two would be a hit amongst the fashion fans."
"Well…"
"I don't know…"
"At least give it a try. Who knows…it might work…"
"What do you think, Kendo?"
"Well…I suppose I should give it a try…"
"That's the spirit!"
By then the car stopped and the driver said that they have arrived at the studio, and Tomaneja clapped his hands and said that they have arrived and he is giving the two teens a tour about how a photo shoot is being made and how potential models and stars are being cultivated, stating that Midoriya and Kendo are about to get a preview of what awaits them, and both teens glanced at each other, as they mentally agreed that this might be a chance to get some clues and see if this tour might be connected to the missing high school girls who interned under Uwabami and ended up doing pornographic videos online.
As Tomaneja led the two teens inside the studio, both the first year UA Academy students stares in awe as the interior of the studio was posh, almost looking a a first class studio which seemed to be on par with photo studios seen in Hollywood USA, and not only is the insides of the studio brimming with first class photo studio paraphernalia, but there were photographers and even cameramen who looked like trained professionals.
"Welcome to my photo studio. What do you think? Very posh if not five-star, no?"
"Whoa…"
"Very posh…"
"This studio I managed produced very popular fashion models…and they all became successful…"
"Really…?"
"For real…?"
"Yes. And I'm sure I could make you popular and you'll guarantee to earn a lot of income in addition to working as pro heroes…"
"Well…"
"Um…"
Then Tomaneja led Midoriya and Kendo towards the area where the photoshoots and pictorials take place and there he told the two teens that this is where the photoshoots are held and this is how the models became recognized and led to becoming popular fashion models, which sparked a trending boom within the fashion industry, which the two teens nodded, and when Tomaneja received a phone call he briefly turn around to answer the call, and there Midoriya and Kendo whispered to each other and said that so far they haven't seen anything suspicious but they should at least try to discreetly look around to see if they could find some clues that might lead to expose some evidence should their suspicions prove true that Tomaneja may be involved in the disappearance of the high school girls who interned under Uwabami.
"Midoriya…maybe we should stick around here for a little while…"
"You think so…?"
"We need to find something that might help us find the missing girls…we can't rush, though…"
"I see…"
"For now, we should make it appear that we might be interested…that way if one of us are going to do a photoshoot the other would try looking for clues."
"You might have a point…"
"Then I think we should go for it…"
"Okay…"
After a few minutes Tomaneja came back and went straight to the point and told the two teens that he would like to have them as models as he showed them the fashion magazines where teen models, boys and girls, are shown in fashion clothes, and as Midoriya and Kendo glanced at the pictures, they noticed that there are no indications that the teen models are being pressured.
In fact the pictorials appeared to be decent and nothing perverted is depicted here, and after glancing at each other, Kendo took the lead and asked Tomaneja if she and Midoriya were to accept, what benefits would they gain, in which Tomaneja said that aside from getting paid both Midoriya and Kendo would become popular and gain a lot of fans even endorsements, and there she asked if she and Midoriya would do modeling shoots on a provisional, if not temporary, basis, reasoning that they are still studying at school, which Tomaneja said that it is not a problem.
"Oh, that won't be a problem."
"Really…?"
"Yes, we can adjust the schedule if needed."
"If so…"
"Yes…tell us your schedule and we can arrange it. Simple as that."
"Hmm…so that means…"
"Sure, sure…"
"Okay…"
After a few discussions both Tomaneja and Kendo came to an agreement, and there Tomaneja gave the two UA students some more touring inside the studio, and so far things look okay and yet both Kendo and Midoriya discreetly remain cautious in case their suspicions might happen thus they need to be careful and not let their guards down.

At the police station, Aizawa and Present Mic arrived and there they saw Uraraka and Jiro waiting outside, and there the two girls said that they were told to wait here as Yaoyorozu is being interrogated in regards to Uwabami's involvement in the disappearance of high school girls who previously interned under the snake hero, which Present Mic was taken aback.
He asked the girls how and why this happened as he and Aizawa heard that the rude reporters made sexual harassment comments towards Yaoyorozu, but Uraraka said that the lead investigator insisted that Yaoyorozu be interrogated on the basis that she used to intern under Uwabami several months ago.
"He said that…?"
"Yes. We told the investigator that Yaoyorozu hasn't been working for Uwabami after the internship…and that she has been busy at UA, hence it's outrageous that the investigator insisted that he interrogate Yaoyorozu even though she has nothing to do with…"
"This is a problem…"
"Indeed, sensei…"
"So where is Yaoyorozu right now?"
"He took her to the interrogation room…"
"How long has…"
"It's been five minutes…"
Aizawa asked Jiro if Yaoyorozu was provided with a lawyer, which she said that they haven't heard anything about that and Aizawa said that it is clear that Yaoyorozu's basic rights has been violated and there he whispered to Jiro to secretly contact Naomasa Tsukauchi and have him informed of the situation, which Jiro nodded.
"Tell Naomasa about the current situation and have him find a good lawyer so as to help Yaoyorozu."
"Yes, sensei."
"If Chief Tsuragamae is there, tell him about it as well."
"Yes, sensei."
"And make sure no one sees you leave."
"Yes, sensei."
"Good. Now get going."
"Yes, sensei."
Aizawa then instructed Uraraka to discreetly contact UA Academy and call Nezu and tell him of what is happening at the moment, which she nodded and the two girls are set to leave the precinct when Aizawa asked where are the rude reporters who made sexual harassment comments towards Yaoyorozu, which she said that right now she has no idea if they are inside the precinct because the lead investigator had her and Jiro wait here and they have been here for several minutes.
However, two assistant investigators came and told Uraraka and Jiro that they are going to be interrogated in regards to Uwabami's activities before the high school girls' disappearances were reported, which surprised the two girls, prompting Aizawa to stand in front of his two students and demanded an explanation for this.
"Stop right there."
"Please step aside."
"Don't try to obstruct us."
"These two have nothing to do with the…"
"Sorry, but it's standard procedure."
"And a police matter as well."
"Do you realize what you're doing?"
"Yes we do."
"And we mean it."
The two investigators reiterated that it is standard procedure to investigate the two girls, yet Aizawa said that neither Uraraka and Jiro interned under Uwabami, telling them that Uraraka interned under Gunhead while Jiro interned under Death Arms, which happened several months ago, hence it is impossible for Uraraka and Jiro to be implicated and said that the investigators should present proof that Uraraka and Jiro are involved.
However, the two investigators used an underhanded tactic which forced Aizawa to stand down as the Class 1-A homeroom teacher glared as he finds himself helpless due to the police having LEGAL POWERS and he tried a last-ditch method to stall the investigators by saying that his students should be represented by a lawyer, which the investigators said that they would get to it but for now the two girls must submit themselves for interrogation, which Present Mic protested, which did little to dissuade the investigators.
"Fair warning."
"Do not obstruct our investigation."
"You idiots don't have evidence to prove that our students are involved!"
"It is our job to follow all leads…and we have a reason to believe that these girls might have knowledge about the connection between the missing high school girls and Uwabami."
"And it is our job to EXHAUST ALL MEANS to get a lead."
"What you're doing is illegal! You can't just force these students to submit to your unjustified interrogation…"
"We do what we must."
"And we mean it."
"Damn you…!"
Uraraka and Jiro protested, saying that they demanded a lawyer and reiterated that they didn't commit a crime but the investigators threaten to charge the two girls with OBSTRUCTION if they do not do as told, and said that if they are innocent then they should answer the questions immediately, which the two girls find themselves in a pinch.
"Please come with us. We wish to interrogate you and nothing more."
"If you have nothing to hide, then do as we told you to do."
"…"
"…"
"If you refuse you will be charged."
"You're not exempted just because you're minors."
"…"
"…"
As the policemen escorted Uraraka and Jiro to separate interrogation rooms, Aizawa and Present Mic are left behind, and there a janitress came and discreetly inform the two teachers that despite her protests, Yaoyorozu was PERSUADED to submit herself to interrogation whilst the rude reporters who made sexual harassment comments towards Yaoyorozu were allowed to leave, as if nothing happened, and that the three UA Academy girls are unaware of this.
"What…?"
"Are you serious?"
"Yes. I happen to witness it while no one else is around. Even the other cops seemingly turned a blind eye…"
"Those fools…"
"I can't believe this!"
"I wish I could do something…but everyone here are sort of…"
"That tears it…"
"Now I really want to let loose…"
"I'm really sorry…"
Aizawa glared while Present Mic clenched his fists as he finds this unacceptable, and left with no choice, Aizawa tells Present Mic to call Nezu and inform him of what they found out, which Present Mic nodded in acknowledgement whilst he tells Aizawa to call Police Chief Kenji Tsuragamae and tell him of the current situation, which Aizawa agreed, seeing that this would be the only way to stop the investigators from humiliating the three Class 1-A students.
The janitress then discreetly gave Aizawa her smartphone and told him that it contains what happened a while ago and during the time when the investigators unabashedly let the rude reporters go without even charging them, as she recorded everything in secret, and told Aizawa to copy the footage via Bluetooth, which Aizawa nodded and asked a favor to the janitress.
"Say…"
"Yes…?"
"Can I ask you a favor…?"
"Me…?"
"That's right."
"Um…okay…?"
"Good. Now listen carefully…"
"…"

Several minutes later the scene shifts back at the Uwabami Hero Agency office, where Midoriya and Kendo came back and told Uwabami's assistant about what went on at the photo studio, and she was surprised to hear that Tomaneja offered the two teens to become models for a popular fashion magazine, though she asked if they find anything incriminating in regards to the disappearance of the high school girls who previously interned under Uwabami.
She was then told that so far Tomaneja appeared to be CLEAN, but Kendo said that she and Midoriya would remain vigilant and not let their guards down, which Uwabami's assistant nodded in agreement yet she urged her and Midoriya to RESTRAIN themselves since they are going to do photoshoots while doing undercover work they might see each other's bodies and they might FALL IN LOVE in the process, causing Kendo and Midoriya to blush deeply at hearing this and told the assistant that they wouldn't go that far.
"You heard me. If Midoriya sees you in a sexy two-piece bikini he might go KA-BOING and goes head-over-heels on you…"
"Uh…"
"Th-that…I don't think…"
"Oh, Kendo…if Midoriya went KA-BOING, you might get fixated at his PEE-PEE and that would make you…"
"W-wait…! I would never…!"
"Kendo's right! My PEE-PEE won't…!"
"Just kidding…!"
"…"

Hope you liked this chapter, as Yaoyorozu and her two classmates had to weather the situation following Uwabami's sudden arrest and them being harassed by chauvinist reporters…and now the three Class 1-A girls find themselves in a situation as they are unjustly implicated and are subjected to an impromptu interrogation…
Then Midoriya and Kendo were brought to a studio where potential models undergo photo shoot sessions…and though they haven't found any incriminating evidence, the two teens opted to accept the offer of becoming part-time models just to see if they could find clues…
