It was a beautiful day in the Pridelands as Kiara was walking towards the watering hole to meet up with her two best friends Zuri and Tiifu, When Kiara arrived at the watering hole she found just Tiifu there which confused her as Zuri is usually right beside her Kiara walked right up to Zuri who had a blank expression on her face "Hey Kiara."She said "Hey uh where's Zuri?"Kiara asked curiously Tiifu looked at Kiara with a confused expression "I don't know maybe she's still sleeping,you know how much she likes her beauty sleep."Tiifu said with the roll of her eyes knowing how obsessed Zuri is about keeping her beautiful appearance.
"Well I think she's beautiful enough,I know where she sleeps, let's see if we can wake her."Kiara said walking away with Tiifu following her, they arrived at the grass fields where Zuri liked to sleep under the stars, and they looked around for any sign of Zuri until Tiifu spotted her. "There she is."Tiifu said in a low tone and she and Kiara approached her but then they immediately froze when they saw that she wasn't alone, sleeping soundly next to her was a male lion that had dark brown fur,a creamy brown underbelly and a large hair tuft.
Kiara circled around to see the mysterious male Lion that's was when her eyes wided in shock as she knew this Lion as her brother in law Baliyo, "Baliyo?!"Kiara exclaimed rather loudly making him and Zuri jump awake and looked at both Kiara and Tiifu "uh oh."Baliyo said as he stared at his sister in law "Baliyo what are you doing here,why are you sleeping next to Zuri?"Kiara asked horrified "And why are your furs all messed up,fans why do you two smell like love and passion?"Tiifu asked in confusion then everything went dead silent for a few seconds until the realization hit them like a stampede.
"Ewww!"Tiifu exclaimed in horror and disgust "Are you serious Zuri, you're going to sleep with a lion you barely know,and my brother in law of all people?!"Kiara exclaimed "I like him he's handsome."Zuri said smiling at Baliyo "I've seen handsomer in my dreams."Tiifu muttered "I swear Zuri of all the...wait does Rani know you're here?"Kiara asked looking at Baliyo "Of course she does,I told her I was coming here."Baliyo said with an innocent smile but then it immediately went away when he heard a familiar female voice.
"No you didn't." everyone turned to see Rani with a very upset look on her face "Hey Sis."Baliyo said nervously as he stood up "Do you have any idea how much I, Uncle Surak, Nirmala, everyone was worried about you,we thought that you were kidnapped by Machuka and his goons,but no you instead snuck off to the pridelands to what exactly?"Rani asked Baliyo who glanced at Zuri "To hang out...with...Zuri?"Baliyo said a little hesitantly making Kiara roll her eyes.
"Please you two did more than that."Tiifu said with a little sass "Ok fine so we made love last night whoop,me and Baliyo are in love,we can express it."Zuri said as she stood up and stood next to Baliyo.
Rani just stared at the couple then rolled her eyes "Come on idiot."She said "bye love."Baliyo said as he quickly nuzzled Zuri and followed his irritated sister,after they were gone Kiara turned to Zuri, "She'll accept us you all will."Zuri said defiantly as she stomped away with Kiara and Tiifu watching her.
