It all began with a legend…

In the beginning darkness and terror ruled the land. Creatures of all sorts lived amongst each other but no one got along. Battles of territories amongst the sirens, mermaids, demons, angels, and humans ravaged the lands for their area away from the others. Many kingdoms for each group arose and tried to fight for dominance.

One demon remained unchallenged. He was a wolf demon and his name was King Yuudai. He had a power that was unique. It passed along the strength to either the youngest offspring or to one who killed the previous holder adding to the amount. The skill however to utilize however wasn't. He fought alongside many different creatures who asked for his help. Yuudai was a brave soldier and was the most skillful and cunning demon in the world.

Some had suggested he should make his own kingdom since many would follow him and he easily had proven to protect such people. He wasn't keen on it but knew of what he would make. He believed many of the battles were pointless and wished they got along with one another which gave him the idea

Yuudai founded a kingdom called Medohamnun on a far off distant island shrouded in mist. It was a kingdom for demons, humans, and other creatures to live together peacefully and that is how the people of the kingdom lived. Everyone respected each other there.

Yuudai soon fell in love with a Celestial named, Yoshiko, and he soon married her much to the shock of many Celestial and demons. Such a union was unfounded since they were the biggest enemies. They loved each other so much they gave birth to a blue haired girl named Sapphire and then four years later, they gave birth to another princess named Lisity. The kingdom thrived and they had everything they could want in the world, but soon everything changed.

People of other kingdoms hated the fact that King Yuudai was getting the races to get along and felt he was growing weak by caring about other races. Only one human kingdom called Nightcloud felt they could challenge and exploit the weakness. No one took them seriously though for attacking. They were mere humans who couldn't use magic or had skills of their own. They however believed other creatures ruled over humans and wouldn't hesitate to wipe them out if they didn't prove humans could stand on an even plane with them. They had spied upon the kingdom to find the perfect time to strike.

Set up began for Lisity's very first birthday. Everyone was so excited since the spunky princess had captured the hearts of the kingdom and an oracle said she was destined for greatness. The lookout guard alerted Yuudai that Nightcloud was encroaching upon the kingdom on all sides with a massive army. He ordered the alarms to be sounded and for all knights to prepare. Princess Lisity was playing in the royal garden when the kingdom's alarms went off. Her father prepared for battle while her, Yoshiko, and Sapphire went to hide for safety in a hidden room.

Her father battled bravely during the war to keep them from reaching them. He fought as hard as he could but he was unable to succeed. The other kingdom broke in and began killing innocent people to the shock and horror of the creatures. They soon found Lisity, Yoshiko, and Sapphire. Her father tried to protect them from getting killed or taken with little success.

As a last resort, he summons two of his strongest guards to take Lisity and Sapphire as far away from the kingdom as possible and to people willing to protect them till fate allowed them to return. The knights took the princesses in opposite directions. Lisity was taken Northbound and Sapphire was taken Southbound.

He begged his wife to flee also but she refused wanting to protect the home they made. The king knowing she would die if she stayed shoved her through a portal and sealed it with no knowledge of where he just sent her. He planned on finding her again afterwards if he could but it quickly wouldn't be. The Nightcloud king stabbed Yuudai through the back and began to destroy every trace of his body fully. There was nothing left of him except his sword and armor.

The king awaited the power to be bestowed upon him but nothing happened. He would realize the offsprings were alive and sent out minions to search and capture for him since they were mere children and wouldn't be able to utilize the power.

This is where the legend ended as a warning to anyone wanting to make peace. As time passed the tales faded from people's minds to a bedtime story to frighten kids to toe the line. A group of creatures discovered the legend and went to search for evidence but found there were little records outside of Yuudai's accomplishments in other armies. It was as though history wiped out the existence of the kingdom if it had existed.

This group felt devastated that the kingdom didn't seem to exist till they decided upon something. The values and hope of peace existed in the tale and if they focused and worked hard they could make a kingdom like they wanted. Thus the kingdom of Surfell was erected upon a field of land

The survivors of Medohamnun looked amongst their destroyed home. There was little reason to stay since there was nothing left and they assumed that the princesses would soon be next. They didn't want to be ruled by Nightcloud. One voice amongst them said that why should they give up hope and friends. Why should they abandon the values that was put forth by Yuudai? This place was their home and they just had to believe someday things would be right no matter how long they would wait.

Seventeen years passed and a long raven black haired girl approached the ruins of the land. The people were scared since she seemed unknown to them. She walked up to the resting place of Yuudai's stuff and grabbed the sword holding it high. "I am Princess Lisity, daughter of King Yuudai and rightful heir of Medohamnun. I pledge to be heavens above and my father below my feet I will lead you to a new era" the girl's voice boomed and cheers arose as hope was restored.

The princess couldn't stay but they didn't mind. They knew she would be back eventually to begin her reign. They understood that the princess who renamed themselves as Jewel was still being chased and wasn't confident in her skills yet to lead them back to glory. They knew she would be back though. Some people at this point decided to venture out to survive and make safe places for her around the world in hopes that they could make a difference. The human citizens passed on stories of the fearless princess.

Magical beings saw the worlds beginning to encroach upon their home and to make sure the princess could fulfill what she wanted, they placed the kingdom into a dimension just outside the binds of the changing world. Here they could see demons starting to split themselves to a new realm they created as did the angels. With Medohamnun not truly any specific kingdom despite a demon king, they made the dimension their own realm and made portals to the other realms
