The rebirth of a titan shifter

We were ending our mission, of the 57th expedition outside the wall when we saw a sort of tree house that looked as if an underground thief lived there.

"Captain," said Petra. "I think there's some ODM gas in there, let's bring it back to base or supply one of the fortresses for future expeditions'."

"You're right," said Levi. "Let's go in and resupply." When we had entered we first saw how much gas and blades were in there. We all started grabbing as much as we could until we heard someone come in using ODM gear. The moment he entered we all recognized him as The Traitor Prince.

"Sir," ordered Captain Levi. "I have the authority to arrest you right now, so stay put!" but before anyone could move the prince dropped a ball containing tear gas, blinding us and giving himself enough time to escape.

"Captain," I said as I was coughing painfully. "We need reinforcements, let's head back and rest."

"Yeah," he said. "You're right." When we got back to headquarters and reported what happened, which a lot of people were excited about, especially Reiner, Bertholdt, and Annie who seemed to be chatting ecstatically.

"Captain, Captain!," yelled out a cadet. "The king has set a bounty on the Traitor Prince! You should head back and capture him!"

"No, we need a plan," Levi said in a minorly angered tone. "Besides, we need the king to give us permission. And it's been seventy years since the first expedition, this is the 57th, the royal family hates the idea of going outside the wall."

"Well you have a good reason to go now," the cadet said in a "but" tone.

"Well kid," Levi said happily, realizing the opportunity. "Join the survey corps and you're in my squad!" As the cadet went off trying to contain his excitement Commander Erwin quickly wrote a request to the king.

A week later I saw both Mikasa and Armin at dinner and walked over to them.

"So," said Mikasa. "Tomorrow we're going to hunt the Prince for $1,000,000 Ymir's."

"Yeah, '' I replied. "We can raise the military's lab budget and get better ODM gear."

"Wait," said Armin. "He has the advantage that he has been living in the titan forest for a year. He knows that place really well."

"Yeah," I said in a "but'' tone. "But all squads are working together on this." When we finished we all went to bed and in the morning we heard our superiors wake us up.

"All right," Commander Erwin said. "We would like you all to know about our latest mission to capture the traitor prince, squad Levi will lead the way as they were the first to see him and know his location." The crowd started talking excitedly. But the bell had rung the 58th expedition outside the wall had begun.

"All right team," the captain said. "Bring him in alive, the court will decide his fate." We all went to the area where we met him for the first time, and this time he was home. We quietly entered and opened the door and he was sleeping! What luck! But when we got close he jumped out and started shooting around rapidly, we immediately jumped out which is when he escaped and started diving through spaces between branches and dodging us each time we got close, but Levi got close enough and tried cut his ropes but for some reason they didn't cut through, then the prince started to slow down, and we saw he was low on gas as his gear stopped making a smoke trail. And then he landed.

"We have you surrounded," Captain Levi said."Come to court peacefully and make this easier on all of us."

"I'm coming ok?!" He said angrily. The next day his trial had begun, and this time the king was watching!

"Good morning ladies and gentlemen," the judge called out. "The case of the traitor prince has now begun." a servant of the king who was partially speaking for the military police walked through the crowd and gave the argument.

"The royal family believes that for stealing 2 ODM gear modules' 10 ODM gas canisters' and 10 blades' the punishment should be death due to the that we have started to run out of the special metal for the blades' and the deaths' of our soldiers outside the wall that we see to have been stabbed by ODM gear hooks'." The crowd started chatting in a "he's got a point'' way while the parents and widows of soldiers started to cry.

"Do you have anything to say for yourself?" the servant said loudly. "The deaths of your fellow man-"

"Imma shut up you right there," the prince said, interrupting the servant. "As long as we're on the subject of death and murder, if I took blades that means I killed titans, and living with titans' means I have to kill a lot of them, taking a lot off your hands during the titan invasion's, according to a notebook I had with all my kills, I had a kill count of 10…"

Before he could finish the scouts and the cadets that survived Trost District laughed their hearts out.

"Shut up!" the prince yelled. "Before I was interrupted I was gonna say my kill count was… 1000." The court fell so quiet that you could hear a pin drop.
