"Where is he"? Marie asked
Charles looked her in the eye saying "I don't know, I've tried using Cerebro but he is able to block me."
"Call Hank maybe he has answers, since he built the thing."
"In the meantime why don't you answer some questions". Logan said looking at her.
"How come we don't remember you or have even heard of you?" asked Scott.
Marie looked at Charles then back at Scott and the others. "I taught you three for two years, I was your science teacher, I created your special glasses. The reason you don't remember is because it could have changed things so I left and Charles modified your memory."
"Wait you said you knew Magneto too.." Storm asked and Marie interrupted.
"His memory was modified to, he did recognize me as a teenager, the one he tied to the machine wasn't the same as the woman he met".
"So where did you go, Rogue?" asked Jean.
"I wanted to keep teaching, so I bought a some land and believe it or not a castle in Ireland, and started a school like this one. The people in Europe are more accepting of mutants than people are here. The families of kids I work with are amazing." She explained.
"Do you still go by Rogue?" asked Storm
"Most call me Marie now, but some call me Anna-Marie"
"If there are no more important questions, Marie you can stay in you old room in the teachers wing and we can all enjoy some dinner." Said Charles.
They all walked out of the office.
Charles stopped Marie.
"This isn't how I wanted you to come back, but I cant so this without your help."
"I understand, I just wish you had told me years ago so we could have delt with it then and not now. And how do you plan on explaining to Erik why you kept the man who murdered thousands including his mother, alive when you should have let him die? You remember what he did on Cuba? He tore us all apart, tried to kill us and destroy our whole world, what do you think he will do this time?"
She walked out of the office not waiting for a reply.
