Chapter 4
Dinner was a awkward event to say the least. After explaining to Bobby and Kitty what all happened and after that they seemed to understand.
"Im happy you two have eachother, Im happy for you." Marie said.
"Thank you , Rogue" Said Kitty as she hugged her.
They then went and sat down at a table. Marie watched them leave and smiled, she was really happy for them, she knew deep down that her and Bobby wouldn't have worked out.
She turned around and Logan was standing there with a determined look on his face.
"God Logan you scared me."
"We need to talk" He replied
"We can talk after we eat I'm starving, it's a long flight from Ireland to here." She said
Marie went to sit down by the rest of the teachers. After dinner Marie told Charles that she'd be right back.
Logan and Marie walked out to the garden by the pool. After they were away from other people Logan turned to Marie.
"Why didn't you call me or find away to get ahold of me, I wouldn't have told anyone here." Logan told her.
Marie took a deep breath. "You all needed to grieve, I'm not the same girl I was before. Too much has happened and I didn't need someone to save me. Ive seen things and been through things that no one can imagine, except you."
"How did you know I got my memories back." Logan asked.
"Charles told me, I would call almost monthly for an update. He called me as soon as you all got back from alkali lake.
Flashback two years ago
The jet landed at the school, no one made a move to really leave the plane. They had all just lost a friend and student.
Storm evacuated the students, Scott carried Jean off the plane, she was still weak from Rogue absorbing her powers and saving all of them. The only one still on the plane was Charles and Logan.
"Im sorry Logan, there was nothing…" he was interrupted.
"Don't tell me that" Logans claws came out.
"We could have went back, maybe she made it maybe…..and we just left her." Logan screamed
He walked out of the plane and walked passed everyone not paying attention to jean calling his name.
Charles exited the plane and looked at his people. He felt very sorry for them but knew this had to happen in order for the past to be successful. He knew he had to call an old friend and update them on whats happening.
Later that night he sat at his desk after everyone had settled in for the night and he knew he wouldnt be interrupted, he made a phone call.
Ring Ring
"School for the Gifted how may I direct your call?" the sweet voice asked.
"Can I speak with the Headmistress please" Charles replied
"Yes you may, hold on."
The phone rang for a second
"Hello this is the Headmistress" a familiar voice said
"Hello Anna-Marie"
"I knew you would be calling, how is everyone?"
"We just got back, so not very well. Its happened, you saved us all I hope you know that."
"And now I'm back in the past 60 plus years."
"What now, you know if they ever find out they will have questions, especially Logan and Jean."
"Nothing, we do nothing, let them grieve and process and move on." Marie replied

Ring Ring
"Charles Xavier"
"Its me Charles, just checking in" Marie said
"Hello Marie, not much the school is doing well and the students are great. Jean and Scott get married next month finally. Storm is taking over while they are gone. Hank is back for a while hes taking a break from DC right now. There has been a development with Logan."
"What sort of development?" she asked
"He has his memories back, all of them it seems." Charles explained

"Why would he tell you?" Logan asked
"Because there is a chance you would remember me." Replied marie
