Hey you happy readers, DragoKnight here with a brand new unique story. A rather interesting twist on a concept made by the amazing author, Nanthekeyblademaster, and the support of so many friends. Now I know many of you still want me to continue the four's addition to Iron Blooded Orphans, but I'm sorry to announce that I'm putting it up for adoption due to lack of motivation and too much stress. I have no excuses, and I am truly sorry to those who wanted to see more of it.
But with that out of the way, quick disclaimer. I don't own either RWBY or Super Mario. Both belong to the late Monty Oum and Nintendo respectively. In any case I hope you all enjoy this story. LETS A GO!

It was a beautiful night in a small home in a small village known as Patch. Inside, a woman with black hair with red tips was putting her children to bed, one a blonde haired child, the other a red haired toddler. The two ran around the room excitedly as she shook her head in amusement.
"Tell us a bedtime story, super mom! Tell us a story!" the toddler exclaims all excitedly, tugging at her mother's dress.
"Yeah, we really wanna hear a story!" The blonde haired child exclaimed.
"Hehe yes, yes gimme a minute Ruby, Yang." Summer says as she scooped up the two kids into her arms and nestled them into the bed nearby. "So what will my little angels like to read tonight?"
The two looked at each other with excited smiles as they gave their answers. "The Four Maidens!"
"Again? You must really love this story." Summer giggled as she brushed the book covers on a nearby shelf. Her fingers soon stopped at one that looked old but still kept in good condition with a faded title. "The Four Maidens of the Clover Star."
She walked over to the eager children, who quickly got back under their covers. Sitting down, the silver eyed mother opened the book and began to read.
"A long time ago, four kingdoms resided in these lands. The Mushroom Kingdom, whose Toads spent their days peacefully. The Sarasaland kingdom was an oasis surrounded by deserts. The Frosting Kingdom where the Ice Knights stood steadfast and resolute as their icy home in the frozen lands. And finally, the Koopa Kingdom, where the Koopas let their burning passion for ingenuity take wing." The first page depicted a four leaf clover. One leaf was pink and showed mushrooms, another was yellow and showed a vast desert. The third as the next was blue with ice and various gems, as the final leaf was red and showed a dark castle with spikes and fireballs. "All four once lived peacefully here within our beloved Clover Kingdom. But then… everything changed… when she appeared!"
"The Great Witch of Darkness!" Yang and Ruby interrupted, raising their arms.
"Now who's telling the story here, missies?" Summer playfully retorted, tickling the two girls. They squealed and laughed to get away from her fingers as she stopped.
"The Great Witch Salem, whose heart was as cold as stone, sought to bring the kingdoms under her heel." Summer continues as the two settle down a bit, showing a page where a tall woman cloaked in shadow looms over the clover. "But she wasn't direct with her intentions. Oh no, she was as cunning and deceptive as a snake."
"She tricked the rulers into believing that they're the ones that should govern over the others, driving them to conquer faraway lands to expand their territory." Summer sighed as the next page depicted the witch speaking with each ruler deceptively, whilst Yang and Ruby pretended to act scared. "She turned the four kingdoms against one another in order to use her creatures of darkness to subjugate them… she almost would have, if not for four mighty Heroes from each land coming together despite the conflicting kingdoms."
"The maidens!" The two said drowsily to which their mother giggled.
"The four maidens united, wishing for a miracle under the stars for guidance." She continues as a page showing the four praying to a night sky. "And their wishes were answered, for the Star Spirits bestowed four elemental stars to them. Using their powers, the maidens sealed the Witch in a prison of darkness, never to be seen again."
Hearing the sound of light snoring, Summer looked up to the once hyper active kids had fallen asleep. With a smile, she gave Yang and Ruby kisses before deciding to finish the last page of her story.
"The four kingdoms, ashamed at what they did and bitter at each other, left the Clover Kingdom. With the evil gone, the four Maidens went their separate ways; for they knew that if anyone would misuse the Stars, the seal would break and the evil would return."

YEARS LATER…
THE DARK LANDS…
((Insert BGM: Bowser Castle theme by Super Mario Bros))
A hostile landscape of lava and brimstone, where only the toughest and meanest Koopas thrive. Among these Koopas is the meanest and toughest of them all, the great king Bowser Koopa. He was raised by his Magikoopa advisor known as Kamek, and for the longest time he has had a single goal: to conquer the Mushroom Kingdom and make its ruler his bride. That said, he has had a meddling problem that has foiled his schemes time and time again; the Super Mario Brothers.
Within his dark and gloomy castle amidst the burning hot magma, the Koopa King once again sits on his throne bored out of his mind. In front of him were various plans that Kamek brought up alongside many other minions.
"How's this one, sire?" Kamek said, presenting one of the plans. "We capture Mario and Luigi, lock them far away, then nab the princess."
"Pass." Bowser grumbled, munching on a humongous bone of meat. "Pretty sure Peach would pummel me with an umbrella… next."
"Oddly specific but as you command, your Grumpiness."
Another plan was presented. "As if I'd pay another fortune for those two idiots. Next."
Kamek turned to a few other plans and presented them, each time only adding to the king's annoyance and boredom.
"Nope, seen it, done that, stupid, we've tried that three times already, GRRR…" Bowser sifted through papers, before tearing up the last one in frustration, tossing his cleanly picked bone at one of the minions. "NONE OF THESE PLANS WILL WORK! We need something better! I WANT TO STOMP THOSE MARIOS AND TAKE THE PRINCESS!" This made the minions mutter among themselves to try and jot up a new plan.
"Maybe you just need a brand new power, one that will allow you to kidnap their entire kingdom?" A voice soon responded.
"YOUR RIGHT! If I had a new power, I could take the entire kingdom in a single stroke! TRULY A GENIUS PLAN FOR ME!" Bowser placed his fist into his palm, before blinking. "Wait, which one of you said that?"
The minions looked among each other in confusion at the voice.
"Not me."
"Uh uh."
"Nope."
"Wasn't me either."
"No, sorry sire."
"THEN WHO DID?!" Bowser exclaimed angrily.
"I did." The voice made everyone turn to the entryway. Walking towards them was a slender woman hidden underneath a blackened cloak, with only the lower portion of her face revealing.
"Who DARES enter my throne room unannounced?!" The Koopa King demanded, with smoke puffing from his nostrils. The guards all pointed spears at the woman, who was unfazed by the sudden threats.
"Merely someone who wants to see you achieve glory." The woman said with a smile, presenting a box to the king. Bowser raised a brow, looking down at the woman.
"Sire, what if it's a trick? What if she's a spy sent by one of the neighboring kingdoms?" Kamek was quick to interject Bowser's curiosity.
"Bah! If it is, then she'll be cleaning the dungeons with a toothbrush!" Bowser laughed, causing some of his minions and Kamek to sweatdrop.
The woman smiled as she slowly opened the box, as a Crimson light flashed from it. Everyone except the figure recoiled from the light as they slowly stared in awe. Floating in front of them was a red heart shaped gemstone, with a star inside it and two eyes blissfully closed. "I offer you a fraction of that power, the Clover Star of the Dark Lands."
Kamek gaped in shock and disbelief as he whispered what the star was to Bowser. The Koopa King's lips curled into a toothy grin as he chuckled.
"It seems like a partnership is in order." Bowser said as he approached the Clover Star. "With this Clover Star, I'll finally be rid of Mario and Luigi. And with them gone, NO ONE WILL BE LEFT TO STOP ME!"

"Nnnm…" a voice moaned underneath bright red covers as an alarm clock played the song. A hand began reaching for it, but the clock seemed to be a good ways away, as the hand reached further.
"WA-OOF!" Unfortunately, the hand reached too far and pulled the whole covers off the bed. She moaned as she pressed the stop on the clock. "Five more minutes…"

"Ruby! It's time for breakfast!" A voice soon shouted.
Downstairs, an older Yang in pajamas was making some scrambled eggs and bacon. Giving a little hum, she set the eggs on a table for three as a corgi nuzzled against her leg.
"Sheesh, spent all night working again?" Yang mused with a sigh before looking at the small corgi. "Zwei, can you go and help my sleepy sis wake up?"
"Arf!" Zwei barked as he pattered up the stairs and into Ruby's room. Yang smiled as she went back to placing the breakfast on the table.
"Mmmzzz… eh? What the- GYAAHHH! EEK! HAHA! ZWEI! NO! STOP! AHAHAHA! OK IM UP IM UP!" Noise came from Ruby's room.
Zwei came rushing out of the bedroom, as an older Ruby with messy hair and pajamas followed.
"Morning…" Ruby mumbled, before yawning loudly.
"Up late again, sis?" Yang gave a chuckle, as Ruby sat down to eat.
"I can't help it, Yang!" Ruby exclaimed as she began munching on some bacon. "That last boss was super hard to beat! He kept trolling me every second! Besides, I was having a good dream…"
"Was it that one where you fought werewolves under a broken moon?"
"No."
"Is it the one where you met a tiny you, a paper you, and a you with a plant arm?"
"No."
"Was it the one where you, me, and two girls joined a group of superheroes?"
"No."
"Ooh, was it the one where you saved an Ice Queendom?"
"I wish I really liked that one…"
Suddenly, Yang had a teasing smirk on her face. "Oh, I can guess what it is… you were dreaming about having some romance~!"
Yang began making kissing sounds, much to Ruby's embarrassment. "Yang! That's gross! Stop! And no I wasn't. I was dreaming about that story time mom would read us…"
"Dang. That really takes me back." Yang sighed in nostalgia. The two girls look at a picture of their mother, alongside the girls. They were standing in front of a house/shop hybrid known as 'Super RWBY Gardening' with a big banner that said 'Grand Opening' on it. Standing alongside them was a blonde haired man, their father Taiyang, their uncle a black haired man named Qrow. In the corner of the photo appeared to be a black haired woman that looked like Yang. "Huh, we never fixed that sign, did we?"
"I know right?" Ruby said with a smile. "Kinda ironic that it stuck."
"Heh I guess you can say-"
*BRRRRRRRRIIIIIINNNG!*
The Blonde's joke was interrupted when the phone rang, causing her to sigh and Ruby to giggle. Yang slammed her fist on the table, which made the phone jump. She then grabbed the phone, answering it.
"Super RWBY Gardening, you bloom em we help em!" Yang says with a smile. "Ah huh…yeah? We will be there right away! Thank you."
"Another job for us?" Ruby asked as she began taking a sip of her juice.
"Yup, at the royal castle." Yang said with a big smile.
"PFFFFFFFT!" Ruby did a spit take onto Zwei, who shook his head to get the juice off of his face. "THE ROYAL CASTLE?!"
She quickly finished breakfast and ran back upstairs in a blur.
A few minutes later, Ruby soon came out of the house. She adjusted her red cap, which had the letter R emblazoned on it. She wears a red hoodie under a pair of beige overalls. Lastly, she adjusts her black combat boots to make sure they were on snug.
Nearby, Yang was working on her motorcycle Bumblebee. Yang had on an orange cap that had the letter Y on it with her ponytail sticking out with a matching scrunchie. Matching Ruby's beige overalls, she wears an orange t-shirt underneath while wearing a pair of gardening gloves. Topping her outfit was a pair of brown gardening boots.
"Oh come on, sis!" Ruby moaned as she walked over to her. "You always take the last pair of gardening boots!"
"You snooze, you lose sis!" Yang stuck her tongue out as she finished packing up the gardening supplies. Ruby groaned as the two got onto Bumblebee which revved up. "Ready?"
"Ready." Ruby said as the two smiled. Yang grinned as she accelerated, the bike driving off.
"LETS A GO~!"
