So to go over a few things about how this will work
1. All the cast was randomized, along with the teams with minor exception to even it out.
2. All seasons' cast were eligible (including the reboot), but for Ridonculas Race I took out characters that were too old, had very little development or Junior since he is too young.
3. In the case a character that is in RR that is over 20 they will be retcon to be 18 while anyone 19 (Same age Noah and Owen were at the time) or younger are 16.
4. With the exception of the first challenge the order will be randomized, along with allowing most challenges from all Island related seasons to be used through some modifications if neccessary.
5.I decided to do this after reading through Wakstorm's Total Supreme Randomized Island. His story has been interested so far so I recommend you check it out.
Meet The Victim Part 1
We start our scene with an open view of a light blue sky. In a single moment a man wearing a blue vest in his late 20's stands up in front of the camera. "We're coming at you live at Camp Wawanakna, somewhere in Muskoka Ontario. I'm your host Chris McLean. Dropping season one of the hottest new reality shows on television right now."
As he finishes his introduction, he walks down the a dock and begins to explain the game. "Here the deal twenty-four campers have signed up to stay at this crummy old summer camp. They'll compete in challenges against each other then have to face the judgement of their fellow campers. Every three days one team will either win a reward or watch their teammate walk the dock of shame. Take a ride on the loser boat…" Chris couldn't help but laugh as a sign showed the crummy old boat. "….and leave Total Drama Island for good." Doing a golf swing to emphasize kicking them off the island the camera transition with a flash of white to another scene.
The host is now at the firepit as he continues to go over how eliminations will work, "Their fate will be decided at the dramatic campfire ceremony where each week all, but camper will receive a Marshmallow." A row of sticks pluck with marshmallows is shown in front oil drum. He picks up a stick to take a bite out of the treat.
"In the end, only will be one left standing and will be rewarded, cheesy tabloid fame and a small fortune which let's face it, they'll probably blow in a week. To survive they have to face black flies, grizzly bears, disgusting camp food and each other. Every moment will be caught on one of the hundreds of cameras situated all over the camp. Who will crumble under the pressure? Find out here on right now on Total Drama Island!"
(Intro)
We return to our host at the dock. "Welcome back to Total Drama Island. All right it time to meet our first twelved campers. We'd told them they all be staying at a 5 star resort so if they seemed a little T.O'd that's probably why."
The first boat arrives. A girl come off the boat having on blue jeans, messy yellow hair and a green sweater. Chris then takes the chance to start the first introduction, "first up we have Carrie."
Taking her bag, she looks around the island. "Wow it so good to be here..." She suddenly realized that she was at a much different location then promised on the application.
Chris gives off a semi-evil giggle thinking that her concerns were of the environment, "Good to see you've arrived to our old run-down summer camp. Everything to your liking?"
"Yeah, totally good with the outdoors." She quickly regains herself back to how she was originally. Carrie is happy to be here but hopes not to find a certain type of creature.
Another boat arrives. A duffle bag is thrown on the dock as a Latino girl wearing a black tank top with an undershirt and piercings all over her ears, including one near her left eye come out with a mace in hand. "Next up Axel." Said Chris. He then looks at the Axel's arsenal with a little concern. He takes out a contract to notify the teen about her belongings, "Also Axel we don't allow dangerous weapons on person as stated in the contract. I ignore it if it was knife, but that stack seems a little excessive."
The girl quickly gets argumentative at hearing his demands, "then what am I supposed to do when were attacked."
"We do have an army vet on staff, man says he fought lots of wars."
Axel rolls her eye but felt it was an acceptable answer, "fine." She zips up the bag and drops near the host's feet. Chris in response jumps a bit to avoid getting his foot crush.
He picks up the bag and walks over to the camera man, he then gives them directions in a whisper, "hey put this with the confiscated items." A quick up and down motion by the camera happens to indicate a nod.
The next boat arrives but there was loud screaming heard. "You can't make me stay here. This wasn't what was promised on the application." The one who drove the boat was carrying a scrawny male teen. They then throw them off the boat with his bag and drive off. An Indian boy wearing a simple blue polo that have oversized tongues was revealed to be the one yelling.
Chris takes the opportunity to introduce the new arrival, "Dave welcome to Camp Wawanakwa."
"You can't be make us stay here in this dirty place. Are you trying to get us germs from the dirt and bugs?"
"Bugs?" Carrie felt a quick grumbling in her stomach. Axel raises an eyebrow at her. Carrie then regains herself, "I mean I'm completely fine."
"Get me off this island." Dave demands.
Taking out a contract he begins to read it off, "unless a contestant is in need of emergency Evac, they cannot quit the game or else have to pay the host a fee of half a million dollars."
Dave jaw drops. He then begins to play it off, "ha ha, right I was just overreacting for TV. You know people like underdogs who seemingly have no chance to win." Dave takes his bag and reluctantly rushes to join the others.
Coming closer to the island a boat is recklessly speeding up much faster than the previous ones. This even surprising Chris as it gets so close that it accidently breaks off the rim of the dock. This makes everyone back away in shock. A girl wide in structure from her glute training comes out of the boat with a satisfied whistle. She was wearing a blue shirt with a darker shad of blue pants and had her hair in a ponytail covered with a cap. This left the host a little annoyed and yells at the new arrival, "MacArthur what the heck!?"
She just shrugged off the yelling, "hey the boat was going so slow I needed to make sure I got here in time."
"Just get to the rest of the campers." Macarthur follows as Chris takes out a radio. "Let the others know we're going to need a plank."
As the next boat arrives a tall man with a green shirt depicting a palm print, he carrying guitar that doesn't leave his side. "Contestant number five is Trent."
In his calm easy-going attitude, he replies with giving Chris a pound, "wow nice to meet you man, I saw you on that figure skating show, nice work."
"Thanks man, I knew I rock that!"
"Uhhh Figure Skating. Farthest thing from a sport." MacArthur said with a scowl.
Trent looks around confused like others before, after looking around he asks, "so this is it?" Trent looks at his fellow campers specifically at Dave crawling up into a ball, and Axel's aggressive attitude. "Alrighty then." He goes over to join the others.
With the next boat a kid with a pale shirt with red and green stripes comes up. Chris understanding how the kid is like adds a big of bravado to his introduction, "Cody, the Codester, the Codemiester." Cody followed his energy as they became to give each other finger guns followed by a high-five.
Cody then begins to strut with pop like music playing in the background, "dude psych to be here man. See the ladies have already arrive alright." He says as he passes them. He goes over to make a comment towards Axel.
The aggressive girl closes his lips hard, "unless it something important towards my survival, I don't care."
Cody out of fear and respect backs away from her.
Coming into view as he comes off his boat was a teen in preppy school clothes with a red sweater over a blue polo over a white shirt. "Next up welcome Noah" Chris said.
The boy comes up with his suitcase to ask the host, "you got my memo about my life-threatening allergies?"
"I'm sure someone did."
"Good is this where we're staying?" Pointing at the cruddy island.
"No, you're staying here, my crib is an airstream with AC that way."
"Oh, how totally unpredictable. A rich man who not willing to get himself dirty." Noah says with a heavy scoff.
"You know for as much as having 3 out of 4 of the guys be complete dweebs, that kid got enough sass to be A ok." MacArthur whispers to Axel.
Before the boat could be seen a heavy footstep rattles the dock. A girl in blue gym clothes is seen with her hair in a ponytail and a beauty on her face. She seemed as though she never cracked a smile in her life. "Eva, glad you could make it." Chris says.
The girl doesn't reply and just walks off as if she didn't notice the host. When she is about to walk over to the cast Cody offers her a friendly high-five but is instead met with her gym bag landing on his foot. This makes the teen react in pain as he grabs his foot. He asks," ow, what's in there, dumbbells?"
In a concise and unfriendly manner, she answers, "yes."
Noah then goes over to Dave and tells him, "You can have her all to yourself." Making the germaphobe shiver.
Suddenly a flash of lightning is heard, but it wasn't just added in effects from editing. The whole cast is memorized by it. Suddenly a person in green robes come at the top of the boat, his face is cladded in darkness from the robe. A deep voice is heard, "I am the mighty wizard Leonard the bold and all of you peasants shall fall to my…" the boat comes to a sudden stop causing the teen to lose his balance and fall into the lake. As the boat is in complete view two dressed up teens were on it. One was a guy wearing glasses and was in fake cardboard religious armor and the other a girl has Viking like attire. They were sound operating Leonard's entrance with a soundboard. They both look in concern as the boat goes off leaving the boy behind.
Leonard begins to crawl out with his hood down revealing a much less menacing boy in nearly every way except height. "Ahh nuts there goes my voice changer and I guess my robe is no longer dry clean only." He laments.
Carrie followed by Cody with the former offers him a hand. She asked concern, "you okay man."
Leonard takes it and is soon given a shoulder by both her and Cody. In an appreciated manner he tells the girl, "why thank you kind one, will you take dragon coin as payment."
Although a little weirded out she simply replies, "no thanks, just helping a fellow homie."
"Oh, so you wish to use this opportunity for a future advantage for charisma checks in this campaign, how clever."
She is just left confused and as she looks at Cody, he just shrugs not understanding what Leonard could mean. Deciding to play along she replies, "yeah sure?"
As Cody and Carrie bring Leonard to join the group Chris is just baffled. Trying to play it off he says, "yeah and that Leonard."
A heavy rift could be heard from a guitar that get louder and louder. We close in on a kid with long blond locks of hair in a purple shirt and orange bandanna playing an excessively fast guitar solo. When the boat arrives, before the intern could put down the plank the rocker jumps off the bow and slides down the dock to finish his solo.
Nearly everyone (except Axel, Eva, and Noah) gave him a heavy round of applause and cheers. Chris congratulated the kid, "You rock man!"
"It's my name for a reason." The teen replied giving the host a heavy fist bump.
"His name man?" Leonard asks making Dave facepalm.
As Rock came to join the group, he instantly noticed Trent having his own guitar. He then asks, "do my eyes deceive me or do I see another dude of music?"
Trent replies, "Yeah, but I do more on the soft and somber side."
"Sounds sweet dude. Be fun to work with you to make tunes."
"Yeah, sure thing."
"Man, I should have brought my keyboard." Cody said disappointed realizing the opportunity he missed.
Out of the next boat came a girl of Cree descent wearing a beige shirt with a purple sash around her waist. Chris seeing the girl goes over to introduce her, "next up we have future Olympian Sky."
Hearing this perks up both Eva's and Axel's ears. This gets her somewhat embarrassed, "whoa I wasn't planning on bringing that up."
"Ehh, felt it was necessary for ratings. Promoting an upcoming athlete trying to hold up the legacy of what her sister has accomplish. Of course, no pressure."
This gets Sky to somewhat irritated but quickly plays it off, "yeah totally no pressure." As she walks away from Chris she her annoyed expression returns.
"Alright then and to round up our first half we have….."
As Chris is about to announce his next contestant, a small girl wearing a green shirt, and gray skirt with purple leggings appears with no warning, "Greetings Mr. McLean."
Surprising Chris he loses his balance causing him to almost fall over, "ahh… I mean say hello to Dawn."
"Huh I have to say this place is not what I expected." Dawn says as she looks around her surroundings.
Chris excited about another camper about to complain says, "right a dirty outdoors summer, isn't this so much bet…"
"It wonderful!"
"Huh, ehh excuse." The host was now the one shocked.
"A place where I can connect with animals in their natural habitat. I'm so glad I can get the chance to be around such a variety of wonderful creatures." The girl face had a simple smile having her expectations reached.
Dave then jokingly remarks back at Noah, "and this one all yours." Noah rolls his eyes at the comment.
As Dawn joins the rest of the group the next boat arrives. Suddenly a girl's voice is heard, "hello coming at you live for today's review of how my fellow teens dress for a reality show." Following the voice show a girl wearing a light blue shirt, a navy skirt and sunglasses on her head. In her hand was a video camera. She gets off the boat to take a quick look at Chris' outfit. "Wow looking fresh today in that vest. Although that what I expect from a man like you Mr. McLean."
"As you know compliments get you far, so keep them coming Jen." The host says looking happy he is on deciding his get up today. Maybe he'll make it his common outfit.
As Jen went over to the rest of the group to greet them she Looks at the others attires. She begins to bring out compliments as she films. First up she goes up to Rock, "I see were going for classic rocker style with bandana and all your, rocking the boots man."
This makes Rock happy replying, "thanks dude, I got these from my thrift store for extra extra cheap." The two share a pound as she moves over to Axel next.
"Your look tells me you're a feisty one who screams strength."
"Whatever" Axel said back trying to hold back appreciation for the compliment.
Next, she checks out Noah, "You know the preppy outfit somehow works well for you, I would say maybe drop the white shirt. 3 layers in the summer heat is excessive in both style and makes you sweat bullets."
Noah rolls his eyes and snarks sarcastically, "right I'll remember to do that when I learn to care."
She finally gets to Cody where she notices his "stripes." This makes her squirms. Cody then seeing at how he is being checked out. "So, what review do you have for the Codestar."
She quickly just answers, "there not overalls." She walks off just leaving the boy confused.
On the next boat arrived a tall muscular man with a pink shirt with purple shorts and a gold chain around his next. He gets off his boat to meet the host with a smooth smirk. When he reaches Chris the tall kid greets him, "hey Chris nice to meet you man. I can't wait to check out the gym here….." He then looks around and notices he not where he thinks he should be. "Hey Chris where the resort where we're going to be staying at?"
Chris then tells him, "Ryan don't be silly this is the resort, a lovely outdoors summer camp."
"But what about the amazing looking gym with all modern equipment promised in this brochure." Ryan takes out the brochure with the promises about all the extremities.
"Oh yeah that stuff is sweet. I got that workout equipment installed at my cabin."
This shocks the bodybuilder, "wait so you're telling me I got hoodwinked." Ryan then moves along as Chris smirks with next boat coming but a sudden tune of the trumpet is heard.
The tune is familiar for the military called "Reveille." MacArthur on instinct does a hard salute causing Dave to get push by the hand and fall down.
The boat is now in view revealing a Black teen with a grey shirt in overalls, he has a beard and a large scruffy afro. It seemed as though the trumpet song played came directly from his mouth without any instrument. Chris then sees to introduce the next contestant when he gets off the boats, "Everyone meet Beardo." The teen makes an applause sound found in sitcoms as he introduced.
Dave gets up from being pushed down and looks at MacArthur with a heavy stare. The girl then puts her hands down and sees that she accidently attacked Dave. "Oh, sorry about that my parents made me attend military school after crashing the family car into the pool."
Beardo then passes Jen who is just disgusted by his outfit. "Uhh overalls." She said under her breath.
Another boats arrives and Chris is about to introduce the next guess, "Contestants meet Sie.."
"Oh my God!" A girl with dyed purple hair, wearing a yellow tube top, light blue jeans, and a necklace is revealed to be the source of the voice. Seeing Chris, she goes up to him, "It actually Chris McLean in the flesh." A loud squeal could be heard coming out of her mouth.
"Ahh it good to be notice Sierra. I serious try my best."
Sierra then look at the host somewhat confused, "huh your much smaller than my mom's cardboard cutout of you."
This then just freaks Chris and all the contestants out. Chris then tells her, "right, and I'm going to ignore that for now." He pushes her out of the way to join the other contestants.
"Okay that girl is a bit wack." Ryan tries telling Jen. She doesn't seem to notice his presence. In a concern manner he pries further, "um hello."
Jen along with most of the females were looking at the next boat that held a tan skinned man with a look of a model. He wore blue worn out jeans and a green shirt with a necklace tied around his neck. His introduction included atmospheric music to elevate his attractiveness.
As the new arrival got off the boat Chris introduces him, "This is Justin, welcome to Total Drama Island." The two share a mutual pound.
Justin with a smile greeted back, "Thanks Chris, this is great."
"Just so you know we picked you entirely on your looks."
"I can deal with that." The male model passed by the crowd of girls who for the most part we are swooning over him. When he reaches Dawn however, she had a more of a look of suspicion. Justin somewhat surprised by her staring asks, "can I help you?"
"Your aura tells me that you rely on your looks so much you won't be able to last long here." The girl warns.
"Um yeah." The boy then moves away being creeped out.
Chris then sees the next boat had a duo of contestants, "Our next two players came as a packet deal. All the way from Northern Alberta Wayne and Raj."
Both of the boys show general excitement both wearing their hockey team's jerseys. Raj the slightly smaller one with darker skin and messy brown hair looks at the lake around them. Excited he tells his friend, "duuuude imagine in Winter time the lake turning to ice.
Raj and his buddy Wayne who was a little taller and has a backwards ball cap on top of his head look over the lake. Wayne replies to Raj, "Biggest hockey rang ever bro." The two give each other a jovial laugh thinking about the concept. As the two finish they both walk down the plank and reach the dock.
With Chris in front of them Raj waves and greets the host, "sup man we're here eh."
Chris then points at the others down the dock, "boys, your fellow campers are over there."
Before going down Wayne tells Chris, "ah sweet, thanks coach." When they reach the contestants Wayne comments, "guest that makes this the competition then." He gives a sly smirk to Raj and asks him, "what you think Rajie?"
"I'd be more impress with a clogged toilet." Raj says with confidence.
"Oh yeah, well, you haven't met the future sheriff of the island" MacArthur says trying to strike back at the boys' comments.
"Oh no the fuzz is after us now Wayne." Raj says sarcastically.
"It okay Rajie they probably were looking for the sale at the donut shop." His friend followed along the bit as they both laugh.
MacArthur in anger tries to walk up to them but is stopped by Axel. "Save it for the game." She commands.
MacAthur annoyed argues, "don't tell me what to do!" Axel in response gives her an angry snarl. Backing off the future cop follows along, "fine, I'll save it for the game."
Next off their boat came a bond girl wearing a light blue sweatshirt and shorts holding a surfboard in her arms. She gets onto the dock greeting everyone with a simple, "Hey, what's up?"
"All right our surfer chick Bridgette is here." Chris says.
Bridgette quickly takes a look around confused, "I thought we were going to be on a beach."
"We are" Chris enthusiastically corrects as a wave on the beach engulfs a seagull who doesn't react to be taken away.
Disappointed, Bridgette replies, "great."
"All right that makes…." A loud bonk is heard when Bridgette unknowingly hits the host square in the head. "Ow darn it that hurts!"
She doesn't hear the man's groan as she meets up with Raj, Wayne, Cody, and Leonard. "Hey guys" she says in a friendly manner.
"Ehh, sweet board." Raj goes up behind her checking out the board. "Name Raj."
"What's up?" Bridget turns around causing her board to swing towards the other guys causing to dodge.
"That could have taken my head off." Leonard remarks.
Carrie then goes up to introduce herself to the new arrival, "hi I'm Carrie."
In response Bridgette moves her body causing the board to swing towards the guys again, but Leonard wasn't able to dodge and got pushed down falling on his butt.
"Okay I think we all met surfer girl, I'm more concern about the girl flashing McLean" Macarthur says causing Cody and Dave to look that way in reaction.
Chris confused says, "wait what?" Sudden concern is shown on his face. He doesn't want angry letters this fast.
Then a girl voice is cheerfully heard, "Say cheese." This makes Chris eyes follow as a sudden flash of the camera is seen. This blinds the host and some of the contestants as an Asian girl came down the plank to the dock. She was wearing a red shirt that had a white collar, red ribbons holding her hairs in pigtails, and a blue skirt. Getting off the boat she goes over to introduce herself, "hello I'm Kitty."
Rubbing his eyes Chris begin to regain his eyesight. "Gosh, could you give a warning before blinding me."
Embarrassed she gives a small giggle. "Sorry about that." After giving her introduction another boat suddenly arrives.
Out of the boat came out an Asian girl wearing a pinkish red shirt under a dark red sweater, jeans along with open toed shoes. She looked like Kitty, but was smaller, and was a little older. The new arrival then stopped for a second when she recognized her sister was on the island, "Kitty, what are you doing here?" This sudden realization made the younger sister groan. "I though you were at home."
"Yeah Emma, about that" Kitty begins to try to explain herself, but before she could answer.
"You're going back on the boat." Emma demanded about to take Kitty's hand, but before they could move the boat suddenly drives away. She lets go of Kitty as she goes up to Chris telling him, "she's not staying here."
"According to these contracts yes, yes she is." Chris takes a set of paper out of his jacket. "Also, I rather not repeat what I told Dave about quitting."
Emma rolls her eyes but give in. She yeilds, "fine, but you better not hurt her. Come on Kitty let go." She leads as Kitty rolls her eyes in disappointment but follows her sister.
Another boat stops at the docks. Suddenly promotional music used at a fashion show is heard. A girl with poofy blond hair with a gap in her teeth wearing a long pink dress and a tiara on the top of her head. "Why thank you, thank you, your all so lovely tonight." She says greeting the crowd. This makes nearly everyone raise an eyebrow.
Chris goes up to the overdressed girl, "um Sugar you do know where you at right?"
"This is the miss Canada Youth Pageant Show and I feel I'm doing stunning tonight."
Chris facepalms at the girl misunderstanding, he then corrects her "Sugar this is Total Drama." The girl just looks at him confused. "The reality show. The one you're going up against other competitors in different challenges to win the prize."
"So, a pageant shows right?" She then notices all the guys and a light bulb clicks in her head. "Oh, shoot right I did sign up to be on that T.V show. Give me a gosh darn tooting minute. The girl runs to the boat where a loud banging is heard. Chris uses his hand to pinch his face in annoyance but in just a few second Sugar returns. Sugar comes out wearing blue jeans and a pink tube top. "Alright time to go fresh loose on the competition."
"Right." Chris said just being still dumbfound by the newbie's mistake. He then looks at his watch. Thinking out loud Chris utters, "alright we should be down for one more arrival."
Right on schedule the final boat has arrived holding a kid with spiky hair and a goatee, he wore a green shirt with a power symbol in the middle, blue jeans, and a necklace around his neck. As he got off Carrie suddenly realized who the person was. "Devon!" She goes over and runs up to hug him. Devon excited to see Carrie hugs her back. After finishing Carrie goes on to ask, "I though you were going to stay home with Shelly".
"Well, I was planning to, but then she wanted to go over to America to practice tennis with her new coach. She says he a very nice guy." Devon replied.
Chris hearing that statement would rolls his eyes. He remarks, "oh a person hanging out with their tennis coach over the summer, I wonder where this is going?"
Devon not hearing Chris, starts to continue talking to Carrie, "So homie how the island been like because this definitely isn't what was on the contract."
Carrie seemed a little scared as she looked around. "Yeah, should totally fine." She assured.
"Now I would have everyone help take a promo picture at the dock, but not giving any names..." Chris gives a heavy glare at MacArthur. "...someone broke a good portion of the dock. Meaning I will have to do it later. Now lets head for the campfire." Chris announced.
We switch over to the firepit area where all 24 are behind the fire pit. Half of them are sitting on the available logs while the others are standing. Chris is positioned right near the unlit fire. "This is Wawanakwa your home for the next 8 weeks." He tells the contestants. "The Campers sitting around you will be your cabin mates, you competition and maybe even your friend." Everyone all around give each other a quick look. Some joyful, while others are reserved, Bridgette tries to give Sugar a smile, but she rudely ignores her.
"The camper who manages to stay on Total Drama Island the longest without getting voted off will win $100,000." Chris finishes.
Rock raises his hands and asks a question, "hey Chris do the rooms have good outlets and sound proofing cause I have this new amp I want to try out? It says on the box it supposed to make a big boom."
"That actually reminds me Chris, how good the Wifi because I need to update my blog for the show?" Sierra interrupted.
"About that…" Chris was about to break the bad news. "….you going to be staying in 2 cabins which are separated by teams. Each cabin will have one side reserved for the girls and the other for the dudes. The closest thing you'll get to outlets are in the communal washroom and you guys will have to endure living without the net" He then sees Leonard raising his hand, "yes larper."
"Is the cabin around a lot of nature? Cause I would need a lot of mana for my powerful spells." Leonard asked.
Taking out a clip board, Chris ignores the question and plays it off with another announcement, "here's the deal, we're going to split you into two teams. If I call your name out, go stand over there. Trent, Ryan, MacArthur, Axel, Sierra, Beardo, Leonard, Justin, Kitty, Emma, Rock, and Sugar." Everyone called then stood together as a group. Chris then throws over a green banner to MacArthur. "You guy will be known as the Frogs of Death" The banner unrolls to show a frog with a skull on the side of the back.
"Woo wicked, such an epic name for our band." Rock exclaimed.
Sugar then adds, "the death part not very lady like, but frogs are something I do like playing with on the farm."
"Meanwhile for the everyone else over here" Chris pointed towards the opposite side of the campfire pit. "Cody, Dawn, Devon, Dave, Jen, Carrie, Eva, Bridgette, Sky, Noah, Wayne, and Raj. Move, move, move." Right before getting up Wayne and Raj gave each other a fist bump excited to be on the same team. When the new team gather Chris passes them a red banner caught by Cody. "Um this red really does not work well with this character at all." Jen complained as she examined the banner.
Wayne then looked at it himself. He didn't see much problem. "I mean it seems fine eh, giving off the idea of the fish having the viciousness of a purana."
"Still, I think It missing something."
Chris addresses the campers about one last precaution before official starting the game, "alright campers, you and your teams will be on camera in all public areas during this competition."
Confessional Chris:
Chris is seen sitting on top of a toilet in a dirty outhouse with flies buzzing in the background. Chris addressing the camera talks into it," You will also be able to share your innermost thoughts on tape, with video dairies anytime you want. Let the audience at home know what you're really thinking. Or just get something off your chest."
Confessional Dave:
Dave is seen covering his head in protection from the flies. "Ahh gross, I can't believe I got tricked this badly. I mean I have so many possible chances of something I'm allergic too... well allegedly allergic to killing me. Seriously this can't be legal. Can it?"
Confessional Sierra:
Sierra is seen typing on a laptop rapidly. "You see although Chris says we don't have internet doesn't mean I shouldn't be preparing the weekly updates on Chris' profiles when I do get a connection. Also, it finally time to finish all the blogs for the competition this season, especially the ones that are going to get the most fangirls. My first suspicions on popularity will be Justin, Trent, and Devon. Though I wouldn't be surprised if some girls slip through such as Bridgette and especially Jen with her pregame following. Still the one that caught my eye is the small one, I think his name was…."
Confessional Cody:
"Cody the Codester is here, watch out ladies." He does finger guns at the audience with an overconfident grin that dissipates when he slips and falls onto the ground.
Confessional MacArthur:
"Yeah watch out ladies cause that scrawny guy….." referring to Cody. "….is just a code Black waiting to happen."
Confessional End.
We see cut to a part of camp that presents the two cabins. On the left side is the Frogs of Death's Cabin, meanwhile on the right belongs to the Ferocious Trout. The camera zooms on the guy's side of the former's cabin to show three set of bunkbeds.
The first two guys to enter are Rock and Trent. Rock looks at the cabin and inhales a quick breath to take it all in. He comments," Man this is so much more spacious than my mom's basement. I wonder if the wood good for music." He quickly leans down on the floor and knocks on the wood.
Trent quickly snickers entertained by his teammate's actions. "Gotta says it nice to be on the same team man."
"Same dude." Rock gets up from the ground. "I was disappointed my bud didn't make it, but hey gives me more motivation to kill this competition."
Suddenly the two are interrupted by a noise that sounds like elevator shutters moving as the door opens. When Beardo makes himself visible and about to enter the room he does a ding sound as if as the imaginary elevator had stoped.
Leonard soon follows showing great intrigue by the noisemaker. "May I ask how many spell slots you have fellow magic caster?" Beardo raised an eyebrow at Leonard, while Trent started to be weirded out by the duo.
"This cabin looking even sweeter with these roommates." Rock remarks with a smile.
Meanwhile on the girl's side Sugar and MacArthur are seen arguing about bed arrangements. "For the last time I said I'm taking the top bunk here." MacArthur stated.
"Yeah, right like I'll let you have the top bunk when it closest to the great view of the lake." Sugar argued.
"Exactly why I want it." The two were aggressively growling at each other as if they were getting ready to possibly fight.
Kitty and Emma are on the other side of the room. Kitty shows some concerns, "Should we stop them?"
Emma rolls her eye at the duo. "Not at all worth it. I'm going to see what's around the camp" Emma puts her belongings on a bottom bunk and walks out of the cabin. She then immediately sees Sierra on the roof with her laptop and an antenna pointed toward the sky with her left hand. Emma although knowing she would regret it, still had too much curiosity. "What are you doing?" She asked Sierra.
"Oh, just trying to get a signal. I need to find out where the best spot for wifi." Sierra answered. "Can you let me know if you find any good spots?"
"Sureeeee." Emma began to slowly walk away towards the cafeteria avoiding looking at the weird girl. She wondered if any of the girls not including her sister was normal.
On the girl's side of the Ferocious Trout, we see Carrie sitting on a bed. She was beginning to unpack her bag. The camera moves slightly to the right revealing Dawn sitting next to her. When Carrie moves her head to see Dawn it ends up spooking her. "Geez where did you come from?" She asked.
"Oh, I was here the whole time, you just didn't notice." Dawn answered.
"Sorry about that." Carrie was about to take her belongings and was about to look for an open bed.
Dawn injected, "oh that alright I was going to take the top bunk anyway."
Feeling relieved hearing that Carrie placed her items back on the bed. She sat down and decided to make conversation with her new teammate. "Your Dawn, right? I'm Carrie. It exciting to be competing."
"Right especially since your friend is now away from his self-centered girlfriend." Dawn responds.
"Huh, who told you that?" Carrie inquired at how very accurate the assumption was.
Dawn began to look at Carrie with a look of pity. She points at her chest, "It right next to the part of your aura that expresses your care for him."
As Carrie face expresses how disturbed she is, Sky enters the cabin followed by Cody.
Sky puts her bag down on a bed and looks around the cabin commenting, "well I wasn't expecting this, but it better than nothing."
"You know your so right." Cody said giving her a smile. This makes Sky raise an eyebrow.
Eva quickly walks over annoyed by his appearance. She screams at the boy, "what are you doing on the girls side?" Cody quickly giggles with a concerned look realizing his choice to follow the girls was a mistake.
Cody is seen thrown out of the cabin. Dave and Noah carrying their belongings watch as Cody falls onto the ground. He starts to get up as grass is seen in his mouth. "Didn't know this island had cows." Noah remarks.
Dave surprisingly cracks a smile with a small giggle.
On the porch of the Trout's cabin Jen and Wayne are seen examining their team's banner. Wayne looks at it thinking about Jen's comments about it earlier. He remarks, "you know I have to admit I feel something is missing."
"Exactly I feel there is one or details needed to make this perfect." She affirms. She looks over it again and again putting her hand on her chin. She then has an idea come to her head. "I got it. Wayne, I need a hand with this, care to go to the crafts tent."
"Why not?" The two walks off pass Devon whose looking around the camp seeing if any staff was around. Chris comes into view.
Devon noticing the host asks, "hey Chris are we going to have like some form of chaperon watching over us?"
Chris shrugs. "Most of you are 16, a few even 18. I think we can trust you enough to supervise yourself." He response
"Sweet" Devon remarked.
The camera pans to an intercom. An aggressive voice is heard commanding the campers, "hey maggots I demand you all move your butts to the lodge right now for your lunch!" Hearing the announcement scared some of the contestants.
MacArthur then opens the window and yells as if the person on the intercom could hear her, "you think that will scare me!? I've been to military school!"
"You've seen nothing yet then." Chris warns as he walks off giving a small sadistic giggle.
"Try me."
We skip to the cafeteria where MacArthur is seen looking the Chef. A Black man literality going by Chef wore the expected attire with a puffy white hat and apron. Underneath was a yellow shirt and green pants while standing tall at a height well over 6 feet. "Listen up!" Chef started in a commanding voice. "I serve it three times a day and you will eat it three times a day. Grab a tray, get your food, and sit your butts down now!" Macarthur realized that yes Chef is much scarier than she though he would be.
As MacArthur gets her food, she quickly runs to her seat to get away from the man. Ryan and Axel are next in line to get. Ryan looks at the food that look like some mystery meat you find right out of a restaurant's waste bin and begins questioning it contents. "Quick question cook, how much protein is in this food, cause I don't want to lose out on this perfect body." He starts flexing his muscles with no one being impressed.
Chef was about to yell at the guy but is soon interrupted by Axel. "he told you to sit your butt down!" Ryan does so as he run off screen with his tray.
This makes Chef smile at the teen's remarks, "at least someone knows respect. Enjoy extra." He takes his spoon and drops an extra dose of mystery meat on Axel's tray.
"Thank you, sir!" She salutes as she gratefully takes the plate and moves to sit at her team's table.
After a few minutes almost everyone takes their seats. Raj becomes the final person to reach his table and sits next to Bridgette. "Hey what happened to your buddy? I though you guys be tied to each other like glue."
"Oh, Wayne said he and Jen were working on something important for the team." Raj answers.
Chris then enters the building. "Welcome to the main lodge." He tells the campers.
Cody seeing him asks, "hey Chris is this food supposed to taste worse than grass?" A hatchet suddenly flies over everyone's' heads and hitting the wall next to Chris which even surprise him yet wasn't concerned. Chef is shown again brandishing a long kitchen knife angered at Cody's words "Wo Chef I wasn't serious. Right guys?" Cody quickly took another bite of his food and chews it aggressively as most nod in fear to agree.
"Your first challenge begins in one hour!" Chris affirms holding up one finger to indicate the hour as he walks out. A mixture of intimidation, intrigue, or excitement could be found on the competitors faces.
"I wonder what they'll make us do?" Kitty said with her face indicating she was in the third category.
Justin quickly took out a mirror checking himself out. "It can't be that bad. My agent Jerry wouldn't want me to be on a show that could harm my good looks."
We then shift to near the beach of the island where almost everyone looks upon an obstacle course as the camera zooms out showing its filled with crabs, mud puddles, bee hives and many more dangers.
Justin screams, "Jerry you're fired!"

And with that the introduction is complete. Got to say while due to life causing me to be away from the computer and writers block in general taking causing my writing to go at a slower pace this surprising was still fun to write. I will say I definitely got some interesting picks. While Wayne and Raj were randomized as a duo, getting both Carrie and Devon and Emma and Kitty who were separate has got to be the funniest thing. Also I randomized the order of arrivals (although I did reset it for Justin to be a late arrival) so it even funnier that Emma came right after Kitty and Devon was last while Carrie was first. Also for anyone wondering as for ages in this case from Christian Thompson's tweet everyone who was 20 or older (Ryan, Jen, and Emma RR) are all retcon to 18 and everyone else is retconned 16 (Yes that somehow includes MacArthur). As for other liberties originally there were an uneven amount of girl and guys so I did make a last minute switch between Rock and Bridgette.
Now as for why I chose to do the Reboots first challenge compared to the first season's was due to being more exciting and it likely hasn't been used as much in other fics compared to hot-tub building. There's also going to be an extra addition to this inspired from another challenge here. Still this next chapter might take some time due to needing to rewatch the reboots first episode.
