The loud sound of a large dumbbell falling to the floor was heard by everyone currently in the Raikage's office.

A, the Yondaime Raikage, who was doing reps on his dumbbells earlier suddenly has a weird look on his face.

"Raikage-sama? Are you all right?" Mabui, his secretary, approached the large man.

"Mabui?!" A looked at his secretary in shock. Wasn't she dead? She and the rest of the intelligence division were killed during the Juubi assault. Why is she here?

Wait a minute. He remembers looking up at the moon. He was under a genjutsu. The Infinite Tsukoyomi was initiated. This has to be a genjutsu!

"KAI!"

"Raikage-sama?"

"KAI! KAI! KAI!"

"RAIKAGE-SAMA!?"

"IS THIS IS REAL?!"

"Huh?!"

Mei Terumi blinked and stared at the person who just insulted her ready to blast him with her lava release when she stopped. In front of her was Zabuza! Wait. What? Isn't the man dead? After Yagura died and Mei took over as Mizukage, they hunted down Zabuza and his apprentice. They found their graves learned what happened and confirmed his death. Mei was devastated she never got to save her friend.

The man stood with his haughty annoying look in front of her. His arms crossed and his back leaned on her office door. She recognizes this office. It was before she was Mizukage and was hiding her Kekkei Genkai from Yagura. If she recalls this was before the coup and the country-wide genocide.

"Oi! What's the matter with you?" Zabuza snapped his fingers at her. "You finally crack from being single?"

Mei glared at the man. She forgot how infuriating he was. Also, didn't their attempted coup failed? Is she dreaming? Is she under a genjutsu?

Mei attempted to break the genjutsu but nothing happened.

"Zabuza, what is today's date?" Mei asked.

Zabuza looked perplexed by Mei's odd behavior. Normally, the woman would banter with him after his insults but he answered.

Twelve years back. Twelve years back!

Mei was shocked. Judging from the office, this was before the coup. Before they failed. Before Zabuza and the other members of the resistance died and those who survived ran.

And if she recalls, Yagura isn't himself. He was under a genjutsu. A powerful genjutsu that would take an immensely powerful fight just to get the man and the Bijuu to get them out of a genjutsu.

"Zabuza, we need to have a meeting." She gave Zabuza a look.

The man was surprised. They haven't yet had a meeting since Yagura has raised security due to rumors about the resistance.

Onoki blinked. He looked around. Wasn't this his office? How did he get here?

"Anyway, old man. I'm heading out!" A familiar voice that Onoki had not heard in years interrupted Onoki's thoughts. He stared at the man who was moving towards the door.

"Roushi?! You're alive?!"

The redhead stumbled and almost hit the door with his face. "What the?!" He turned towards Onoki. "Old man, have you gone senile?!"

Wait a minute.

Wasn't this the time Roushi left for his so-called "retreat" traveling around before he was killed by the Akatsuki?

"Roushi." Onoki started.

"What?" The man rolled his eyes at him earning a twitch on Onoki's eyebrows.

"Stay."

"What?"

"We receive some concerning intel about you and Han…"

"GAH!"

Tsunade sat straight up. "Wha?" She frantically looked around the room. How did she get here?

"Tsunade-sama. It's time to wake up."

"SHIZUNE?!"

"Ah? Yes?" The young teen looked surprised being called out like this.

"What happened to the war?! Why are we here?"

"Um, Tsunade-sama? The war ended years ago."

"What? Madara was defeated?"

"Madara?" Shizune looked confused. "What war are you talking about?"

"The Fourth Shinobi War Shizune!"

"Whaaaaaaaa? Tsunade-sama. Are you expecting another war? The third war was already devastating enough. Did you have a nightmare, Tsunade-sama?"

"Wait. What?" Tsunade looked around. "Where are we?"

"In the inn at Tanzaku Quarters."

"What year is it?"

Shizune gave her the date. It was twelve years before the war. Twelve years?!

Tsunade could not believe it! She sensed no genjutsu so she isn't under one but how? Doesn't this mean sensei is alive? What about Jiraiya, he's alive at this time. And Naruto? He is five or six now. Is this a blessing or something?

"Shizune." She began.

"Uh, yes?"

"First, we find Jiraiya. Then we go back to Konoha."

"Go back to…" Shizune looked shocked. "Really?" She sounds happy.

Tsunade feels guilty all of a sudden. She forgot Shizune had always wanted to return to the village but she stayed with her despite everything. Tsunade is still not sure whether this is real or not. But the shinobi world is going to go to a war and there are so many things she has to do.

"So, let me get this straight. It turns out that the Black Zetsu manipulated Uchiha Madara and Uchiha Obito?"

Yes.

"And this Black Zetsu is the main mastermind to everything and is the child of Kaguya, who is a Goddess? The purpose of the war was so he could get all the Bijuu, summon the Jubii, and put everyone in a genjutsu so that he could summon said goddess and she could siphon off everyone's chakra for this stupid tree hence killing all life in the world?"

"And that Naruto, Kakashi, Sasuke, and Sakura failed to defeat her?"

"So, when Kaguya started to siphon off everyone's chakra, the Bijuu decided to the last minute before their consciousness fully merged by the Jubii to time travel?"

"And you dragged all the Kage with you?"

We couldn't get everyone under the Infinite Tsukoyomi to come. But we needed people to help make the changes and Naruto and the rest of his team were too compromised. We figured grabbing the Kages would be much easier. You are all in a position of power and can make the changes necessary to prevent the Rabbit Apocalypse.

"The what?"

"I don't get it but okay. So, your best bet was the Kages?"

Yes. Well, we Bijuu also have memories of our hosts but we are not sure whether or not the Jinchuurikis also remembered it. I can't seem to reach my siblings at the moment. You are a guaranteed one since you are both my host and a Kazekage.

Gaara sighed and glared at Shukaku. "Shukaku, I'm the youngest Kage! We time-traveled at least, I think 12 years? I'm not a teenager anymore! I'm currently five!"

The toddler face of Gaara with the absence of his famous scar is glaring at the large tanuki.

"I can't do anything as a five-year-old!" Gaara yelled at his tailed companion. As a five-year-old Jinchuuriki and son of the Kazekage, he is heavily guarded so his movement is restricted and watched. Not to mention that he noticed that he is back to the chakra levels of his young self which means he has to go through training to get his former strength back and that is going to take a while plus his seal is still unstable even if Shukaku is reformed.

"...Besides no one would take me seriously at this age!" Everyone is terrified of him, the village is suffering a financial crisis, and it will take a massive undertaking for him to make the necessary corrections so he can have some political influence in the village. Suna is already behind the other villages both economically and military-wise and needs to boost both of those for the future war or to prevent it from happening if need be.

Tsk. Age doesn't matter to us Bijuu. Why don't you just kill the Bakakage and replace him?

"It's not that simple! I'm not killing the Kazekage, father or not. No one would agree to a five-year-old Ka - " Gaara paused. "Did you just call the Kazekage, Bakakage?"

You're the only Kazekage to me. He'll be Bakakage for the rest of his life.

Gaara wasn't sure to be amazed at Shukaku's lack of respect or appreciate his friend's declaration of him being the only Kage for him. Then Gaara realized something. "Did the other Kages know about this?"

Know about what?

"Did you or any of the Bijuu tell the other Kages about the time travel?"

Uh, we didn't have time to tell them.

"So, you mean to tell me that the Kages time traveled back to the past? A time when each village is hostile to the other with memories of the future and has no idea the other Kage are back. And because of the hostility they will most likely be more guarded than ever and will have trouble trusting each to even communicate and see if they also time traveled?"

Shukaku looked a bit aggrieved.I guess so?

Gaara groaned. This is going to be hard. And it didn't help that for the rest of the Kage, their last memory was the Infinite Tsukoyomi. So, at this point, only Gaara knows what happened thanks to Shukaku. Unless Shukaku can reach out to confirm, there are no guarantees.

And Gaara did something that he never did even when he was insane. "Fuck this shit!" The little boy growled. Gaara heard a gasp and he turned to see his uncle. His now alive uncle who didn't try to kill him yet is gaping at him.

"Gaara-sama, since when did you learn those words?" Yashamaru looked like he wanted to scold somebody, either Gaara or the Anbu watching outside.

Gaara wanted to curse again and Shukaku just laughed.
