Chapter 1: To a world beyond this one.

Narukami enters his room to put on his night clothes, as he takes one good look at his room. This room is where he stayed for a year he was in. It feels great to be back in Inaba Narukami thought, as he then got on his bed and slept. A world beyond the other, it will begin soon.

As he fell fast asleep, he began to dream. When he did however, he woke up in a familiar blue place. He looked around and saw that everything was exactly as it was 1 year ago. "You have finally arrived," said the gentle voice. Narukami looked straight ahead and see's the two familiar people here.

"Welcome. To the Velvet room" said the glamorous looking lady.

"Your presence here is both good, and bad. For reasons I do not have the answers to." She said before continuing on. "My name is Margaret, and across is Marie." Margret said as this Marie woman looks at him before looking away as if she's lost in thought. "The cards have told me about an interesting fate that will soon intersect. You have fought countless battles, which have been echoed, to worlds of uncertainty. This one has caught your attention." Margret said as the cards formed into a crystal ball, revealing another world, showing and projecting Narukami and his friends are fighting a terrible beast. Could that be the future?.. "This world calls for your help. For what reason? It is also unknown. But when that task is over. You will be able to go back to where you come from." Margaret says. "And if you're wondering where, is that big nose. He left us here in charge of this room. For a reason I don't even bother to know why." Marie looks a bit troubled. "The time will come when you Reunite with your friends once more. Only you and the bonds you made can save it. Though, it'll take more bonds than just your friends to save a world." Margret said giggling before the guest of the Velvet room closed his eyes and sleep.

Narukami woke up wondering about the dream he had. As he thought about Margret's words, a phone rang in his pocket, he answered and it was his friend Yosuke on the phone. "Hey. Did I wake you up?" question Yosuke. "If I did. S-Sorry. Me and the others will be meeting up in Junes. We're gonna continue celebrating your return to Inaba partner! So come to Junes. The party can't start without our main attraction!" Yosuke said before hanging up. Narukami should get dressed and head to the Junes food court.

As Narukami walks into Junes he meets Teddie along the way to the food court, all happy to see him. "Sensei! We've been waiting for you all day! Follow me to where the others are!" Teddie said running to where Narukami's friends are meeting up, nearly running into another employee of Junes who was carrying a box of supplies to one of the isles. "Watch where you're going, you clown!" said the Junes Employee. Narukami follows Teddie at a calm walking speed.

The Junes food court, Narukami remembers those times where he and his friends would come together to talk about the murder case last year. To think the culprit was a persona user this whole time, it still surprises him to this day. Eventually he found his friends Chie, Rise, Kanji, and Teddie, sitting on the table in the corner of the food court, calling out to Narukami. Especially Rise who was yelling out his name the whole time.

"Senpai! You're here!" Rise said, excited to see Narukami again. "Sheesh just how excited are you to see our leader? You'll give me a migraine with all that yelling." Kanji exclaimed . "And Besides. Aren't we missing a few people? Like Yosuke, Yukiko, and Naoto?" Chie wonders where they are. "Teddie saw Yosuke. He went to the bathroom. To take a dump" Teddie proudly says. "Ugh.. Enough with the grossness. It's making me sick to think about it." Rise became a little grossed out.. "Also, Yukiko told me she was going to meet up with Naoto to go pick up Masamune. But I don't know how long has it been. They should be meeting here any moment now." Chie said as Yosuke came to the table. "Hello everyone."

"Oh. Hey Yosuke." Chie said blatantly. "Hey What's with that tone. And where's everyone?" Asked Yosuke. "Oh and Teddie. Did you do your tasks before comming here?" asked Yosuke as he looked at Teddie. "Yep. Teddie did all of his tasks before comming here." Teddie said proudly. "Good." Yosuke said as the six friends wait for the other two to show up. A good 5 minutes pass and a phone rings, it was Yosuke's phone. "Oh hang on, someone's calling me. Hmm? It's my superior? "Yosuke then holds it up his ear but then heard yelling from the other end of the reciever. "Yosuke! Where are you! All the employees are trying to catch some strange black creature that's flying around the store! It's attacking customers and hissing at them! Get over here and help us!" the caller said before hanging up. "Black creature? What could…." Yosuke thought for a second and relized what it was. "Oh shit…" he said before running off. "A Black creature?" Rise said before all of them realizing, and in Unison. "It's Masumune!" all said before getting up to follow Yosuke and make a mad dash into the store.

As the caller said to Yosuke. A black creature was flying around the store making screeching noises, as if it's panicking, and randomly attacking nearby civilians that were unfortunate enough to get in its way. The employees of Junes chase to capture it, while the customers watch and stay clear, while some cower by it. Just as Narukami's friends were about to join the chase in capturing Masamune, Yukiko and Naoto run up to Narukami and his friends all out of breath. "Yukiko, Naoto, what's going on?" Rise asked. "I don't know. But we need to catch Masamune." Naoto said as the group of friends agreed. The group split in hopes of catching Masamune. But its aggressive movement was making it hard. And every time it hisses, it was either going to bite, or to scare off… Kanji caught Masamune just after it hissed at Rise, but the creature bit his thumb as it went slightly in Masamune's mouth.. "GAH! MY THUMB!" Kanji yells letting go of Masamune.. Luckily Kanji's thumb didn't receive much damage.

Although many attempts were made, none have caught Masamune yet. Until the unexpected happened.

Teddie had an idea popped up in his head, so he went to the freezers to grab a 2 liter soda and shake it fast. He felt the shake of the bottle about to burst, so then he quickly went to the direction of where the Changeling was in, the electronic section of Junes. As he calculated where the bottle might hit, he opened the shaked bottle and said, "Tedfiaaaa!" Teddie said as the bottle launched. The soda was shooting out like the ignition of the rocket, spilling its contents on the packaged electronics and its dummy props. As calculated, it hit Masamune in the face as it was going down. Like a football star running towards the ball's landing, Yukiko jumped in the air and caught Masamune, but came that, came disaster. The group saw what happened, how Teddie used a soda bottle to knock down Masamune, but more importantly, their friend Yukiko fell into the T.V catching Masamune.

When Chie saw that, without any hesitation she ran to the T.V Yukiko fell in and jumped in. "Chie you moron!" Yosuke said as he soon followed Chie through the T.V. Soon, everyone enters the T.V out of worry for their friends. Narukami entered last.

As all of Narukami's friends entered the T.V, they were all falling. This feeling was familiar. As they fall for a few seconds some strange force is pulling them away from each other. "What the hell is this? Why are we getting farther away?" Kanji asked. "We always fall in a straight line. Why are we drifting apart?" questioned Rise. "Don't ask me. I don't even know what the hell is going on!" Yosuke said as everyone panicked. Chie didn't give up hope as she still attempted to reach out to Yukiko, who was still holding on to Masamune tightly. Chie nearly got to Yukiko, but then she got pulled away from Yukiko, as Chie then screamed out her name. "Yikikoooooooooooooo!" Chie yelled as Yukiko was drifting further apart with Masamune. Everyone has drifted apart from each other, into the unknown.

*YUKIKO'S POV*

She was falling from the sky, not screaming, or anything. She looked at where she might fall, it would hurt a lot. She might die, but it's alright. All she cares about is protecting Masamune. Then, Yukiko landed on the hard dirt ground, creating a crater effect of 8 feet.

Her persona protected her from the fall. But Yukiko's vision was blurry but she swore she saw ponies looking at her. Talking about something, but what is it? She saw strange ponies coming to her, looking at her. Wait, what is going on, Yukiko thought. Are they taking them out of there? She saw them taking away Masamune. Yukiko got up slowly, and began to follow the ponies who were taking Masamune away, she took small steps, but Yukiko was already feeling lightheaded. So lightheaded that she collapsed on the floor, closing her eyes and hoping that this is just a dream.

*MINUTES EARLIER*

The Investigation team were separated from each other and all of them fell to different parts of the new world they ended up in. They began to fall from the sky, all the while looking around their surroundings before plummeting to the ground in a painful manner.

*NARUKAMI'S POV*

Narukami was falling from the sky trying to control his movements, and hoping he could land somewhere where he could fall on safely. But alas when he tried with all his might, he crashed through a window. He heard screaming but to him it felt like it was coming from a far distance. And his vision was becoming blurry, but he swore that some strange purple pony was looking at him. And who was talking to him? It sounds human, but the only one talking in front of him was coming from that purple pony? It calls another person Spike as it went around him going somewhere. Whatever it was, he hopes this is another dream he is having. Maybe he fell asleep on the outskirts of Inaba or something. He hopes he'll wake up.. Soon enough…

*YOSUKE'S POV*

Yosuke tried to find a way to make him land safely, sure he can use his persona to call forth the winds. But will it be enough to float him back to the ground safely? He thought of the possibilities but the one thing that bothered him was that can he use his persona? The world he is in now is not like the T.V world so… As he became lost in thought, forgetting that he was falling to his doom, he belly flopped into a lake, before sinking into the water and floating in on it as if he drowned.

*CHIE'S POV*

Chie screamed as she fell, panicking while she tried to think how she could float down safely without breaking anything in her. Or better yet, not die by falling to death. She looked around and saw something in the distance, clouds! If there is anything she learned from watching Cartoons and Anime, clouds can cushion any kind of fall. So calling upon her Persona Tomoe, it summons a small energy dragon for Chie to ride on for only a brief amount of time.

Chie laughed happily as she rode the energy dragon to the clouds. "Wahoo! Take that gravity! Nothing can stop me! Not even-" Chie interrupted herself as she looked in front and realized she was about to crash through a window of a building. "Oh Shi-''. Chie said as she crashed through the window, getting launched and spinning wildly into some sort of factory. She screamed before landing in a big vat of some strange blue liquid. Her body submerged into the blue liquid, and after a few seconds, her whole body froze. She can still see and hear voices for some reason. Is it thanks to her persona's resistance to cold? If it is, then she'd be glad she didn't lose consciousness. But where are those voices coming from? Chie hope's they aren't ghosts. The same kind of ghosts Yukiko told her about after when the whole body freezes. But what she saw looking down at her was a pony in a uniform? They are saying something but it's getting hard to hear. Whatever it is, Chie hope's they can help her get out of this icy situation.

*TEDDIE'S POV*

Teddie screamed as he fell, he did nothing that could soften his fall nor checked to make sure he could summon his Persona. He let it happen as he fell head first into the ground. As he did, he waved his limbs trying to set himself up as he was upside down on the ground. When he did, his head was all flat, temporarily blinding him until he squeezed himself up, showing his head once more, feeling pretty mellow. "Well that was one hard fall." Teddie said to himself as he looked around. Teddie wonders where is until he notices a cottage next to him where he landed. "Oh my. A cottage. It's just like Alice in… Alice in…. Alice in something!" Teddie ran to the cottage, opening it as it was left unlocked. "Hellooo? Is anyone home?" Teddie says as the silence was all Teddie heard.

"No one's home… Well, I hope they don't mind me eating what's in their fridge. Teddie didn't eat anything yet." Teddie said as he then went to the kitchen and opened the fridge. Revealing that there is nothing good in there, but some cold hay, vegetables, and a cake in the fridge, which piqued Teddie's interest. "Ooh a cake." He said pulling it out of the fridge, what he didn't know was a card that said to not eat it. "What's this?" Teddie grabbed the card and read it out loud. "Please don't eat the whole cake like last time. Angel bunny." Teddie read wondering who this angel bunny is. He flipped the card and there was more text in the back. "I mean it. Don't eat the cake". Teddie finished reading the card and threw it behind him. "Well. I'm not this Angel Bunny person. I'm Teddie! If it only restricts this Angel Bunny person, it's safe for me to eat it all! Time to dig in!" Teddie says as he is about to eat the cake whole until a door opens and a voice that sounds heavenly. "Angel. I'm…." a yellow pony with wings froze at the sight of Teddie. There was silence, until the Yellow pony screamed and ran away. Teddie chased after the pony there after. "W-wait! I don't bite. yellow creature of the day! Come back, It's not what you think!"

*KANJI'S POV*

"Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit" was all Kanji repeated before crashing into an apple tree, dislocating his right shoulder. "My shoulder!" Kanji yelled as he breathed heavily. "I need to fix this," Kanji said before doing something he may regret doing. So he pressed his dislocated right shoulder on a nearby tree and pushed it. "Come on, come on!" Kanji gritted his teeth saying, as he hit the tree with his right dislocated shoulder. When he did that, he heard the bone snapping. "Gah!" Kanji yelped, as he felt his shoulder more easy to move, after that bone snap. "Ahhh. Sweet relief.. I needed that." Kanji said as he looked around his surroundings moving his right shoulder in circles. "Where the hell I'm I?" Kanji questioned himself, he really had no idea where he was, until he saw a barn not far from where he was. With nowhere else to go, Kanji walked to the barn to see if anyone was in there. As Kanji got to the Barn, he opened its gates and went inside. For a barn, there aren't any farm animals of the sort, nor are there any horses, cows, or anything in there. Just stacks of hay, and tools. He looked around until he heard something knock over. "Who's there?" Kanji asked in a calm manner.

"Just come out, and you won't receive a beating. Bastard." Kanji said, as the gates to the barn opened behind Kanji. It seems that something is coming in, or the thing that made noise in the barn left. It made him flinch until he saw an orange pony. It confused him for a second until a smaller pony came out of its hiding spot calling out to it. It called that orange pony "sister". Wait, did that small cute one talk? "Uh.. Hello?" Kanji said and sure enough. That Orange pony can talk. "Who are you?" the Orange pony said to Kanji. "Well… I'm Kanji Tatsumi. Who are you? And is that small pony your sister?" Kanji questioned. "Get out of this barn whoever you are!" said the Orange pony as it would seem it is hostile towards him. "Hey I'm the one asking here! I have no idea where the hell I am, and where my friends are? I fell from the sky and hit a tree." Kanji said in his defense. "So you're the one who knocked over that apple tree! Why I oughta…" the Orange Pony said as it prepared to charge and attack Kanji. "Applebloom, find help somewhere in Ponyville. I'll hold it off this creature!" the Orange pony said as the small pony fled. "Yee haw!" the Orange pony said as it charged at Kanji, and then. It drop kicked Kanji in the face, blowing him away and breaking down the barn walls. Kanji groaned in pain before cracking his neck and other bones. "Okay whatever you are" Kanji looked around as he found a weapon made for him, a broken wood plank shaped like a shield. "You lookin for a fight. You got one DAMMIT!" Kanji yelled as he charged into the broken barn at the Orange pony.

*NAOTO'S POV*

She kept calm as she fell, quickly looking around her surroundings, realizing there was nowhere to land safely as Naoto was falling towards a roof. Using her quick thinking she summoned her Persona as it grabbed her blue jacket, and used the wings on its back to safely land on the rooftop of one of the stores. "Thank you Sukuna-Hikona" Naoto said thankfully as her persona disappeared after. "Now where I'm i?" Naoto looked around from the rooftop and saw that there were ponies, horses, and fillies walking around the streets. It looks busy, so busy neither look up to see a human on a rooftop. "Strange. This is the T.V world right? If it was, there'd be fog. And tons of shadows. What is this world?" Naoto said before realizing as she gasped. "Wait. No.. It can't be.. This. This is all just…"

*RISE'S POV*

"Gaaaaaahhhhhh!" Screamed Rise as she was falling towards a building that has a colorful pattern on its windows. Rise braced for impact as she went and broke through the window and landed face first on the ground. She rolled into clothes that were hanging up on display in the middle of the store as then Rise hit a wall. Piles of Clothes were on Rise's body and face, as she groaned behind it all. "Sweet Celestia! My store!" said someone in the store, as if she owns it, to Rise's point of view whom is still dizzy from the impact. Rise overheard the woman's complaints, even it sounds faint. "Now I don't know what kind of pony are you. Or maybe some pony who did this for some publicity stunt. You'll be responsible for the…" the clothes were lifted revealing, through Rise's eyes, is that a white Unicorn who Rise confused it for. Her senpai? "S-senpai? Is dinner… Ready?" Rise said before blacking out. Now the voice became distant.

The investigation team all had their hard landings. But how they came together was a mystery indeed. They eventually came together again. Under certain circumstances…

*KANJI'S POV*

The battle went on with Kanji and the Orange Pony. Apple trees being knocked over, nearby structures collapsing. But everything changes in one word. "This is getting too tough! Guess I'll have to use it on you. LET'S SMASH IT! PERSONA!" Kanji said as a giant buff skeleton appeared behind Kanji. "What in tarnation?!" The orange pony said as it looked up and the clouds began to darken. "Ziodyne!" Kanji said as his persona called upon the lighting with its lightning bolt shaped staff. The orange pony Barely dodges it, shocking nearby trees as they were affected by the electricity.

*VILLAGE*

The sudden thunderstorm got everyone's attention. To them, the storm was but an unscheduled event. But for the Persona users who are not yet unconscious. Know what it was.

*NAOTO'S POV*

Naoto used her persona to make her fly to where the lighting strikes went. "Those lighting strikes. It must be Kanji-kun. It has to be" Naoto flew in the air with her persona that is holding on to her jacket. Fortunate that none of the ponies have saw here, except one…

*YOSUKE'S POV*

Yosuke was still trying to heal from the belly flop as his skin was still hurting from the moment. Using his persona Jiraiya to heal his wounds. "If only the process was faster." Yosuke said as he then heard the thunder. "That thunder. It's not from the sky." Yosuke thought about it before realizing. "Kanji," he said before getting up. It still hurts to move but he must get to Kanji. He's in danger.

*TEDDIE'S POV*

Teddie was still chasing after the yellow winged pony. It was almost at the village ahead, till the both of them stopped and saw the sudden thunder. It scared the yellow winged pony until Teddie raced to where the thunder clouds were coming from. "Kanji… Hang in there! I'm coming!" Teddie said forgetting about the yellow pony as now the yellow winged pony began to follow the bear.

*CHIE'S POV*

Her frozen body was now fished out of the vat of blue liquid that she fell in. She could still hear everything around her, probably because of her Persona's resistance to cold..

The ponies in white uniforms were about to thaw her out using a hot drink. But then they all heard the sounds of thunderstorms.

"You hear something?"

"A storm? But it's not until next week!"

The worker ponies looked out the nearby windows and saw a thunderstorm from afar.

"Who sent a thunder cloud?!"

Asked one of the worker Ponies, as they began to panic. Forgetting to unfreeze Chie with the hot drink. Fortunately, one of the winged ponies holding the hot drink dropped it to the ground, shattering it. The hot liquid seeds towards Chie's frozen body and makes contact. The ice begins to crack, all around her frozen body. Finally, Chie was free..

"Alright!" Chie cheered herself looking at the nearby window where the Thunder cloud was. "Kanji-Kun! I'm coming!" Chie runs up to the Mirror and the dragon kicks it through.

None of the ponies in white uniforms noticed due to their panicking.

The whole place went into a red alert.

For Chie, she was now free falling in the sky spotting the dark cloud ahead. And somehow was able to spot Kanji from afar, thanks to the thunder striking down. "There you are!" Chie said as she calls upon her Persona "Tomoe!" Chie summons the energy dragon to ride on, like a skateboard. "Don't worry Kanji! I'll help you out!"

*YUKIKO'S POV*

When Yukiko opened her eyes again, She was in the sky. Did she die and is now being taken to the great kingdom in the sky? No. If it was, she wouldn't be going under the clouds. She felt too weak to move. But not caring about herself, she looked around and saw that Masamune was nowhere to be found. "Where is." too weak to speak, Yukiko heard thunder storms. But The clouds aren't darkening. Yukiko took a minute to find out where the sounds of thunder were coming from. "K-kanji?" Yukiko said before blacking out again. Unable to help out her friend.

*PRESENT TIME*

The battle continues at the apple farm. Apple trees were being destroyed by lightning strikes caused by Kanji's Persona. "Dammit! Stop moving!" Kanji says, unleashing more lighting strikes at the Orange pony, who is dodging before missing a step and getting electricuted!

"Gaaaaaaahhh!"

The orange pony screams in pain, as it seems to endure the pain and continue fighting. "How dare you! You trespass my farm.. Injure me… Hurt them.. Kill them..!" The orange pony prepares to attack, blowing steam from the nose. But before it could attack..

"DRAGON KIIIIIIICK!"

Chie landed the hit on the Orange Pony's face. Dirt and debris flew to the sky like an explosion, as Kanji stood there speechless. "Hahaha! That was AMAZING!" screamed Chie who was now ecstatic. "How do you like that shadow! No one messes with my friends! Until they can get through Chie Satonaka! The ultimate kung-fu master!" Chie said as she did various Kung-fu poses. "Chie-Chan! I found you!" Teddie said as he jumped out of his costume and tackled Chie to the ground hugging her. "Oh Chie! I thought I'd never see you again!" Teddie said as Chie struggled to get Teddie off of her. "Uh Ted. Where are…" Kanji was interrupted as Naoto came in. "Tatsumi-Kun. You're alright." Naoto says before pulling out her gun and aiming it at Teddie. "As for you. Get back in your costume!" Naoto commanded.

It was no doubt that Teddie, is not wearing anything and in his words, he's "A newborn babe"…

Though once Teddie heard Naoto's commandment he hurried towards his bear costume and put it on. "N-Nao-Chan! Please! Don't hurt this innocent bear!"

"Eww gross! YOU WERE NAKED!?" Chie angrily says, just now realizing.

"He was naked?" Kanji questioned… Before a thought crossed his mind. "H-hey. Where's Yosuke-Senpai? Yukiko-Senpai. And- GAAH!"

Kanji was suddenly knocked to the ground by a blue winged pony with rainbow hair. Naoto gasped and before she could fight against this new enemy, she got electrocuted from behind, paralyzing her. Naoto fell down to the ground as Chie and Naoto are left standing… Looking around, they were surrounded by ponies, and Stallions in Gold Armor, some were even flying in the air. "We're surrounded! What do we do?" Teddie questioned. "We fight for our-" Chie didn't finish her sentence as she was once again frozen in place, stuck inside a crystal of sort. With none to fight against. Teddie raised his small arms up.

"I surren-'' Teddie was then frozen in place, now stuck inside a crystal that was from a unicorn with lavender fur who was levitating with its magic, without wings..

*YOSUKE'S POV*

Yosuke, who was hiding in the forest, witnessed what was happening. "My friends. What's going on?" Yosuke looked with fear in his eyes. He wanted to help them but not in the condition he is in. He forced himself to retreat into the forest to continue healing himself. "I'm sorry guys. Wherever you guys go. I'll come find you."

AUTHOR'S NOTES: This is chapter 1 of the story. The Investigation Team has accidentally traversed to a world of Colorful Ponies, and despite being strangers in a strange land. Some have already been arrested and detained. But only one or two remain free for now before they join their other friends in the same location... More importantly, why did Masamune go into a Frenzy?
