A/N: Hello! This is the first fanfiction I'm posting to this site. It's a short MLP story that's based on a comic I drew back in 5th grade. It may not have made a lot of sense, but I tried my best to write it so that it does. Anyway, I hope you enjoy! :)

Rainbow Dash rubbed her hooves together and licked her lips. In front of her was a slice of delicious-looking rainbow pie. She had randomly found it sitting atop a table, but seeing as how nopony was around to claim it, she decided she would eat it herself.

"Heh heh - Don't mind if I do," Rainbow said, grabbing it and bringing it to her mouth for a bite.

"Now hold on jus' a minute!" a familar voice rang out. Startled, Rainbow Dash dropped the pie back onto its plate. It was at that moment Applejack appeared.

"Wha - You startled me!" Rainbow exclaimed.

"Sorry," AJ said. "But uh... Where'd ya get that?"

"It was just chillin' here on this table," Dash answered. "Nopony's eating it. And I'm hungry!"

"First of all, ya shouldn't be eatin' somepony else's food," AJ sighed. "Second, this seems like this was from the batch me an' my family made yesterday."

"Okay, and?" Rainbow said, getting impatient.

"And... we haven't started sendin' these out yet. So I find it kinda weird one of our pies made it outta the barn."

Rainbow shrugged. "Beats me. Can I eat it now?"

AJ put up a hoof. "Hold up." She bent down towards the pie slice to inspect it. When Rainbow had dropped it, it had landed upside-down. On the underside, the initials "PP" were slightly carved into the crust. "Well, I'll be," Applejack said. "These are the initials of Pinkie Pie."

"Pinkie?" Rainbow Dash looked at the letters herself. "How'd this get here?"

"Wellll-" As if summoned, Pinkie Pie appeared out of nowhere to answer the question. "I snuck into Applejack's barn last night to see what they were making 'cause the smell was SO GOOD - and then I took one of the pies and put my initials on it so that one could be saved for me! And I've been waiting to eat it since then!"

Rainbow Dash and Applejack stared at her in surprise. "Oh, and," Pinkie added, "I snuck in there again this morning and took it but then I guess I put it on this table and I TOTALLY forgot about it!" She hit her head with her hoof. "Silly me!" When her friends said nothing, she tilted her head to the side and said, "What?"

"Pinkie..." AJ paused, then shook her head, sighing. "Why in tarnation did ya have to go through all that? Ya coulda jus' asked."

"Oh," Pinkie said, then giggled. "Sorry, my mind gets all jumbled up when sweets are involved!" She looked over at Rainbow. "Anyway, I think you should have it instead, Dashie. You seem like you've been waiting for longer than I have!"

And it was gone in 10 seconds flat.
