Chapter 1: Playing outside
It was recess and Dora and Kate were outside playing tag.
"Tag! Gotcha, Dora!" said Kate and she laughed.
Dora laughed as she chased Kate.
Tag! Gotcha, Kate!" said Dora.
"Oh, Dora, you are so good at playing tag!" said Kate as she laughed.
"Thanks! Hey, do you want to play again?" asked Dora.
"Yeah!" said Kate.
"Tag! You're it, Kate!" said Dora as she tapped her shoulder.
Dora and Kate both run and see who gets tagged.
Kate run first, as she kept running she tripped on the rock that's sitting on the grass.
Dora gasped and ran to Kate.
"Kate! Are you okay?" asked Dora worried.
"I'm fine." said Kate.
Dora looked to see any bruises on Kate, she looked and gasped and said "Oh, no! Kate! You got a bruise on your hand!"
Kate looked and said "Oh, no! What am I going to do!"
"Don't worry, Kate. You'll be alright." said Dora.
"Are you sure?" asked Kate worried.
"I'm sure." said Dora with a calm tone.
Alana, Emma, Nayia ran to Dora and Kate.
"Dora, Kate, what happened?" asked Alana.
"Kate fell and got a bruise on her hand!" said Dora
Alana gasped.
"Oh, no! That's not good!" said Emma.
"Maybe you need to go to the nurse, Kate." said Nayia.
"Uh, oh!" said Kate with a scared tone.
"What's wrong, Kate?" asked Dora.
"I'm scared! I'm afraid the nurse will hurt me!" said Kate.
"Kate, It's okay. The nurse won't hurt you. I'll go with you." said Dora rubbing Kate's shoulder.
"Really? Thanks!" said Kate.
"That's a great idea, Dora!" said Emma.
"That's a good way to support a friend!" said Alana.
"Come on, Kate. I'll walk with you." said Dora.
Dora and Kate walked back into the school to the nurse.
