"Okay, Fortuity, you need to get ready," replies Lux.
"I know that, and Lux, thank you for all your help over the years," Fortuity expresses gratefully.
"It's my pleasure, sir. You have been a great friend to me," says Lux before exiting the room.
Fortuity feels nervous as the Modern King ceremony approaches. He is not confident in his speechwriting and reading abilities, but he remains determined to deliver the best speech possible. Fortuity never aspired to be king, but circumstances changed when his father was ambushed and killed by Startouch elves. As the time flies by, Fortuity prepares to deliver his speech.
"Hello, citizens of Katolis. Today is a momentous day as a new king is enthroned, and that king is me. A few months ago, my father was tragically ambushed by Startouch elves. He had a deep love for Xadia, particularly Drakewood, but his duties as king prevented him from visiting often. Although I had limited time with my father, I know he was a good man, and I am determined to carry on his legacy. Thank you, Katolis," Fortuity confidently and boldly concludes his speech.
