iRun Away

A/N: I'm a huge fan of 6teen. iCarly, not so much (though my sister is). Still, I thought a crossover between the two would be pretty funny. I'm gonna try to make this as believable a crossover as possible, I hope everyone is in character (aside from the swearing, neither iCarly nor 6teen have swearing like this story does). Also, the iCarly bits might be riddled with continuity/factual errors, as I'm mostly going off of memory of episodes I watched with my sister, so I apologize in advance. Also, I do not own 6teen or iCarly.

2009

It was a Thursday afternoon, and Freddie was on his way over to the iCarly studio. He was running late, though, as his camera had been having some problems these past few days, and so he had to get a new one. He rushed upstairs to the studio. His friends, Carly and Sam were already there. Well, Sam wasn't really his friend, especially considering she usually bullied and made fun of him, but she was Carly's friend and a huge part of the show so he didn't have much of a choice but to spend time with her. Freddie got closer to the studio when he heard them talking. "Where is Fredweird? This is like the third time this week he's been late!" Sam lamented. "He texted me and told me he had to get a new camera." Carly said. "Ugh! Of course!" Sam groaned. "Sam, c'mon! These past couple webshows, the video quality has dropped. He got a really good camera, it's high definition." Carly defended him. "Now you sound like him! I can't listen to him rant on and on about high resolution, Carly! I just can't!" Sam complained. "You... got me there." Carly said. She couldn't help but agree. "He's such a dork!" Sam said. "Hey, you kissed him!" Carly said. "That was only so that we could each get our first kisses out of the way! And what about you? When he pushed you out of the way from that truck, you went out with him." Sam said. "Yeah, but I realized I liked what he did, I didn't really have feelings for him and I still don't." Carly said. Freddie felt his heart sink. He remembered that he said he wanted that all to wear off and he'd be happy to start dating if she still had feelings for him after all that. He still had feelings for her, and he was hoping she still would. "So we can both agree that was a mistake! What about that time he got all jealous when you dated that guy Griffin?" Sam asked. "Or the time he ran away from his mom and moved into that awful apartment with no toilet? He thought we'd be so impressed. That place was so gross!" Carly said. Now they were laughing. "At least he hasn't liked me since the 5th grade or something. I don't know how you put up with it!" Sam said. "Right? I wish he would take a hint. It's never going to happen. I can't believe it almost happened with that truck thing. Mistake doesn't even begin to describe it! It's like, yeah, I appreciate what you did, but that doesn't change anything. You're still that same dorky kid from the AV club!" Carly said. Little did they know, Freddie was near the door the whole time, listening to everything they said. He knew where he stood. He couldn't believe his so called "friends" (or, friend and Sam) would talk about him like that. He'd had it. The worst part is, that was all he had other than the AV club. He was unpopular, and the only time anyone paid any attention to him was whenever his crazy mom or Sam publicly humiliated him. "Man, fuck this! I don't need them!" he thought to himself. He walked slowly and quietly so that they wouldn't know he was there. Then once they weren't within earshot of him, he booked it. He was almost out of the apartment until he ran into Carly's brother, Spencer. He fell down once he ran into him, as Spencer was bigger than him. Spencer helped him up. "What's going on, Freddie?" he asked. "Oh, hey, Spence. Sorry, I wasn't paying attention. Can you do me a favor?" Freddie asked. "Sure, what is it, kiddo?" Spencer asked. "Well, I overheard Carly and Sam making fun of me, so I decided that I'm not gonna be their friend or help them with iCarly anymore. If they ask, I was never here." Freddie said. Spencer seemed a little bummed but obliged. "Okay, kid. If that's what you want. You were never here." Spencer agreed. "Thanks, Spencer. It's a shame, I always liked you." He said. "The feelings mutual, but I understand. I'll catch you later, Freddie." Spencer said. And with that, Freddie went home. That night, he waited until his mom was asleep. Then he packed his bags, stole a few thousand dollars from her purse and took off. He didn't see much point in leaving a note, as his mother was extremely overprotective and treated him like a five year old, and his so called "friends" mocked him behind his back when all he'd done before is help them out. He then booked a flight to Canada, and landed there by morning. He got the money he had left converted to Canadian Dollars (which left him with a little more money than he'd initially had in America, as $1.00 in America is worth $1.27 in Canada. He rented a motel with the money he'd had left. He was going to go look for a job at the nearby mall, the Galleria Mall.
