Summary: First, wee replace the original Freddy Fazbear gang with Sonic Characters: Freddy Fazzbear is now Sonic Fazzhog, Tails becomes Bonnie, Amy Rose becomes Chica with the cupcake replaced by a little animatronic blue bird named ''Birdie'', Foxy is replaced by ''Knuckles the Dread'' (From the new show Sonic Prime) and Golden Freddy becomes ''Fleetway'' Sonic's super form. The Puppet is not part of the story, aside from all that the lore pretty much stays the same.
Second, Maleficent are favorite dark Fae and her servant Diaval, lived on in the future, but it the same thing couldn't be said for most of the Moors, for as time passed and human civilization progressed, the Moors was slowly being destroyed and its fairy population had their magic and health declining little by little, even Maleficent's magic has weaken a bit over the centuries. Fortunately she remains strong enough to protect what's left of the Moors, and does so by using a spell teleporting its remaining residence from Scotland to the most isolate place possible. Which is located in the High Uintas Wilderness, the most isolated forest in the American state of Utah, several days away from the nearest Human population where the surviving fairies can rebuild and prosper once more.
But Maleficent has grown a fondness for humans over the years thanks to her goddaughter Aurora, so from time to time she and Diaval in human disguises, would go to the nearest town, called Hurricane for a little sight seeing. Its there that Maleficent met and befriended 5 young girls, friends whom remainded her a bit of Aurora in looks and personality traits: Will Vandom has the qualities of a Great leader, like Aurora when she became Queen of the Moors, and like her she loves animals. Cornelia Hale's blond Hair is very similar to Aurora's, and is almost as beautiful with a good heart, tho has a bratty and spoiled side the Dark Fae greatly disapproves. Irma Lair Is cheerful and optimistic most times, like Aurora. Taranee Cook can be a bit of a "goody-goody" at times and always tries to do what's right, like Aurora. And Hay Lin is a hard worker not afraid to dirty her hands and loves to help, like Aurora.
She met them by saving them from older men wanting to have fun with young girls, she intervened to save them, and from there the friendship started. It grew to the point the dark fae would bring them to the Moors to meet other fairies, and would even go so far as to help them awaken the magic each one of them have, using enchanted jewelry she crafted with gems from the Moors ''Pool of Jewels'', declaring herself their godmother and them citizens of the new moors. Eventually, Will will land a Summer Job as Night Guard for Sonic Fazhog's Pizza, to earn some money for a trip, despite her mother's, Friends and Maleficent's protests: Her mother because she's only 13 and to young for such a job, Maleficent because she could sense something not right with that place and the girls because of the rumors that the place is supposingly haunted...
