I am a huge fan of the legendary GODZILLA movies and by extension KONG.
However I always wondered the thought process of the Titans during fights and other assorted scenes. GODZILLA VS KONG was no exception and I kinda came up with a head cannon. This is my take on what Kong and the G-Man were thinking during their third fight and more importantly what was being "said" during the roar off.
Let me know what you think...
Kong couldn't keep this up. Sure his axe had done a great blow and knocked the "Alpha" back, but he was back up already and didn't look that affected. Kong had been intending to catch his breath atop one of the ant's structure, and jump on him and stab him with this big cold stabby thingy. That plan disintigrated when "Alpha" started moving around searching for him.
Now Kong was on his back with "Alpha" on his heels... literally! It was all he could do to stop Godzilla as the ants called him from chomping his feet. Finally Godzilla had enough and jumped towards him, tearing into his chest with those claws. The pain was excruciating but Kong had to pull through otherwise Godzilla would dominate him too, and he could never allow that.
As Godzilla stood on his chest and stared into his eyes, he unleashed a powerful dominating roar.
"STAND DOWN NOW! YOU FOUGHT WELL, BUT I AM ALPHA! YOU WILL EITHER BOW OR DIE!
Like Kong was gonna take that. Why should he? Death over surrender.
"I'LL NEVER STAND DOWN! I WOULD RATHER DIE! YOU ARE NOT MY ALPHA!"
Godzilla stood straight and looked down at him with... was that respect? And nodded his head. Kongd could have sworn the last thing he heard was Godzilla saying very well... before he passed out.
