Here I was, at the age of 5. And my mother and I were transported from Norway to the United Kingdom. And here I am. I am a student in London, Uk. I was put with the nice kids group. And we had to work on this.. Show and Tell project? It was a project where you bring a Toy of some sort and show it to everybody. I brought my favorite stuffed animal, my stuffed bunny, PurPur. I don't fully understand why I called him that.. But mostly because he was purple. And it was now my turn to show. I took PurPur out of my bag. And showed it to everybody. All the ' Oohs ' And ' Ahhs ' I heard were funny. And now it was lunchtime. I was sitting alone while eating a turkey and cheese sandwich. But suddenly, this boy named.. Edd. Sat by me and said " I really liked that push you were pwesenting.. It looked nice! '' Edd was older than me. About 5-6. He had brown hair and he always wore something green everyday.
He would always hang out with me, in the playground, in class, at lunch. He was like.. A best friend to me but I've only known him for… 3 days. So, we were only friends. " Hey, Milo. '' Edd said while looking at me with a gently friendly smile. '' Milo, Wanna hang out at the pwayground after school? '' Edd said. I accepted it and we both ran over to the swings. We both got on the 2 swings that were the closest to each other. And swang! Edd went higher than me. But I wanted to prove to him that I was higher! I started to push my short legs high enough and I felt like I was gonna touch the sky! But suddenly… " Milo! Wook out! '' Edd yelled, I accidentally fell off of the swing, and landed on the wood chips, face forward. started to cry, a bit. The scratches and marks on my face were now hurting, I was also bleeding a bit, Edd looked at me for a brief moment before getting up and rushing to the teacher. " Teacher! Teacher! " Squealed Edd, The Teacher went over to check if I was ok, I was shortly sent to the nurses office, and I had to get 2 bandaids and an ice pack.
Edd was kind of worried about me. He was waiting in class for a long time. " Where is Milo…? '' Edd thought to himself. A couple of minutes passed and I was finally back in class. Edd noticed me and rushed over to me and hugged me, I hugged back, obviously. " Milo ! I missed you so mwuch! I thought you were dead! '' Edd cried out. " Ah, No! I wasn't dead, I just got cwuts! '' I said while giggling.
The next day came and there was a new student, his name was Thomas, or, Tom for short. He had on a yellow shirt and blue overalls and black shows, his eyes and hair looked.. Weird but.. I'm not judging. He always held a bear in his hand, and he had a gap in his tooth. He looked friendly so I thought I might as well talk to him with my 5 year old self. " Hewwo! I'm Milo! '' I said, Tom looked at me and squinted his eyes. He looked away. It felt weird for being ignored for no reason, but, oh well, I just did my work with Edd. Edd also noticed Thomas and tilted his head, he walked towards him and tapped his shoulder. Tom reacted and squinted his eyes, but actually, he responded. " ..Yeah? Tom said with a confused look, Edd smiled. " Do you wanna play with us? '' Tom nodded yes slowly, and Edd had a big grin. " Milo! Milo! Edd said excitedly. " Tom will play with us! '' Tom heard this and he looked embarrassed. He quickly covered up. " Oh, weally? '' I said, tilting my head. Edd nodded in response. Tom walked over to me and stared at me for a bit before blushing at me. " Hey.. Sowwy for not talking to you last time.. I just.. I was embarrassed.. '' Tom
said while scratching the back of his neck. He held out his hand and said " Fwiends? '' I grinned and shook his hand. He smiled and blushed in response. I grabbed my favorite toy, PurPur and played with his bear as well. I still don't know why he had black eyes and looked like a pineapple, but that didn't really bother me.
Two weeks came, and we had ANOTHER new student, I mean it was 1994, we had less students. His name was Matthew, or Matt. He looked so energetic to be here! And his chin.. Well, his chin was unusual, but oh well! Matt skipped over to me, Edd, And Tom. He waved and said " HIII! I'm Matt! What's your name? " Matt said, excitedly. Edd responded with. " My names Edd! And Tom replied with. " I am Tom.. " and I replied with " HII ! I'm Milo ! " Tom looked at me with a confused look, Matt then walked over to me. " Can I play with you? " I nodded. Then my teacher walked over to me. " Milo, We have another student tomorrow, I want you to go and help them. You might be their first friend, okay? " My teacher said, I definitely took this opportunity and smiled.
The next day the student came and I walked over to the door and waited for him to come. He opened the door and looked at me, I'm pretty sure his name was… Tord? I don't fully remember, but when he walked over to me he quickly walked away, I remember that he had hair horns. It looked cool to me. He quickly walked over to Tom, Matt, and Edd. And started to play with them, like he just straight up ignored me. I shrugged it off and walked over to Edd and started to play with him. Tord then noticed the Purple bunny, Which was MY purple bunny. He picked it up and I allowed him. I didn't wanna make him upset or anything. I sat next to Edd and he looked at me. " Milo! This is our new fwiend, Tord! " I looked at him and smiled. " Okay, Eddie. " And that was the beginning of our group..
