Chapter 2: Piece of Christmas Candy Cake:
Miko's POV:
A dentist could make a career out of a place like Candyland. Everything here is literally made out of candy. My teeth are rotting just looking at the place. Anyway, with the participants, there's Jib, making his cake based on his girlfriend, Princess Lolly, then there's Gramma Nut, making a banana nut cake, then there's Frostine making an ice cream cake. There was also the Duke of Swirl, with a swirly cake.
King Candy and Princess Lolly were the judges.
"Bring on the cakes," says King Candy. The first one he tries is the Duke of Swirl's cake. "Needs a bit more sugar."
"I understand completely," says the Duke.
Princess Lolly tries it. "Yeah, more sugar."
Next is Jib's cake. King Candy tries it. "I'm sorry, Jib, but that is the worst thing I have ever tasted."
"I understand," says Jib.
Lolly tries it. "I... like the artwork," says Lolly.
Next is Gramma Nut's cake. "I think it's worse than Jib's," says King Candy.
"Yeah, it's bad," says Lolly.
Next is Frostine's cake. "That's the worse one," says King Candy, "wait, something's not right here! Someone gives me a cupcake!" A candy cane guy gives him one and King Candy tries it. "I thought so. Princess Lolly don't taste anything else! We've been cursed!"
"What," asks Princess Lolly.
"A curse that causes anything sweet to taste terrible to us!"
"Okay, that's not... really that scary," I said.
"Miko, we live in a world of sweets," says Jib, "there isn't much else to eat here!"
"Wouldn't that make you guys cannibals," I asked.
"Plus, the King of Candyland could look offensive," says King Candy.
"We'll figure out what's going on," says Jack.
"I think we should try the cakes, just to make sure," says Roadblock. He then tries Jib's. "Hey, you guys are cursed. This is delicious."
"What was the first cake again," asks Sunset.
We saw the Duke of Swirl getting away. "After him," says Jack.
We then chased after the Duke.
