Helpless
"You did what I did, Leo!" Raphael's shouting now.
"What is going on here?"
The brothers draw apart as Splinter walks towards them, tail twitching. Taylor thinks she hears Donatello mutter Definitely going to the hashi but she doesn't care. She walks away from the alcove and if anyone calls after her, she doesn't listen.
Eventually, she finds a quiet spot and leans against the wall.
"Taylor?"
"I'm fine, April, I just need a moment."
As April slips away, Taylor realises she doesn't want to lie to herself. She's not fine. She hates feeling this helpless and scared, like she's not in control of her own life. Her world's been turned upside-down; why didn't she just move back home when she had the chance?
She knows why - so she wouldn't let what Raphael did have power over her and because she couldn't explain the injuries. Her mom wouldn't have let it go. It would have felt like running away, which is what any sane person would have done if this had happened to them.
"Hey."
No. No. Not him. Please. Anyone but him. Leave me alone.
"You OK?"
Anger wells up...no, it's not anger. It's rage.
And Taylor just snaps.
