Yami turned his head to look at Danzo next to him with a smirk and an unspoken question.
"Go, but only observed and once you completed your mission, retreat" Danzo said looking straight ahead.
He nodded and began walking towards the hole the Raikage had made, nearing it Ao jumped in front of him with his sword drawn.
"The Raikage ordered you to stay"
Yami glanced at the Mist Shinobi and smirked, looking at the eye patch with the Byakugan beneath it. "You said this Byakugan was a spoil of war, correct?"
Narrowing his eyes and Ao lifted his sword into a more tighter defensive stance, he said, "Well, just like you, I have my own spoils of war. It's very interesting, actually." He glanced at Yami's eye patch. "No, no, definitely not as fancy as yours, but it does have significant meaning to the Mist."
The end of the sentence caught the Mizukage and Chojuro's attention as Yami lifted his left hand to the inside of his forearm, releasing something from his seal. A POOF sound filled the air, and when the smoke dissipated, the item Yami held shocked the Mist Shinobi and Kage alike; in his hand, the Root Shinobi held one of the legendary Seven Swords - The Nuibari.
Recovering from his shock glaring Ao commanded "That sword belongs to the hidden Mist!"
"That eye belongs to the hidden Leaf. Do you see me making a big deal about it? So, you either let me pass or you can find out just how proficient I am with it." Yami glared right back.
'He must be only 16 or 17 years old and yet, he looks like a war veteran with his scars, and judging by how long ago Kushimaru Kuriarare died he must've been younger' Mizukage glanced at Danzo with a side eye. 'I might not know what's going on in the inner workings of the Leaf but someone so young shouldn't be so strong'
'It would seem The Leaf is still producing prodigies if what he say's is true' Tsuchikage narrowed his eyes at the blade.
Ao swallowed some saliva as the tension in the room thicken, he looked into Yami's eye and saw his full commitment to going through with his threat.
"Leave it be Ao" the Mizukage said sternly.
"But Lady-
"No, if what he tells is true then it's out of our hands"
Yami smirked and resealed the blade and disappeared with a burst of speed.
'Shunshin?..'Ao thought narrowing his eyes 'No... that was pure speed'
Arriving in an empty hallway, Yami quickly went into a series of hand seals and placed his right hand on the ground.
*LIGHTNING STYLE: MAGNETIC FIELD*
Closing his eyes and opening his senses, his vision turned black and white as pulses of vibrations spread throughout the castle. He saw the Raikage and his guards already engaged in battle with Sasuke. Standing up to his full height, he disappeared into the darkness.
WATER STYLE: WATER WALL!*
Darui sent out a wave at the charging Sasuke, pushing him back; with two handseals, he mixed two natures together and performed another technique.
*LIGHTNING STYLE: EMOTION WAVE!*
Standing already with his cloak off and lightning armour on Ay observed how Sasuke had his sword coated in lightning chakra, trying to cut the technique in two.
"Looks like the intel was right, Boss.This guy seems to possess a Lightning Chakra Nature." said Darui.
"Plus he has a fire Chakra Nature.He's bound to use fire Style at some point.Darui, keep Water Style ready at all times." said Shi
"Yeah."
Jugo landed behind Sasuke with his curse mark spreading over half his body. "They're Hidden Cloud jonin.The huge one in the middle is their Raikage.They won't let us pass easily."
"I'll stop thier movements!" Shi exclaimed making four sets of handseals
*LIGHTNING ILLUSION: FLASH PILLAR!*
A bright light filled the room making the duo of team Taka cover their eyes with their forearms.
"Is he trying to blind us?" Jugo asked. Just then Ay appeared before them and punched Sasuke into the ground face first cratering it
"Sasuke!" he exclaimed concerned.
"Jugo, don't waver.This is a genjustsu" Sasuke said breaking him out of the genjustsu.
"Not bad, Sharingan." Shi said smirking.
"You may have seen through the genjutsu, but it's too late!" Ay and Darui appeared on both sides of Sasuke, each with their attacks raised; Ay with his right hand in a chopping position and Darui with his cleaver blade raised overhead. Bringing down their attacks, they were blocked just in time by Suigetsu and Jugo, Jugo blocking Darui with his arm blade and Suigetsu blocking with his sword. A crack was heard coming from his blade with the force of the combined attack, knocking the trio of Taka back to a wall while cratering the spot they had been standing in.
"Damn it! My Executioner's Blade!" Suigetsu exclaimed annoyed as half of the blade went flying.
"It probably already gotten cracked against the Eight-Tails." Jugo suggested
"It can't be helped then" Suigetsu observed his sword while his arms was in liquid form with how strong the blow from the Raikage was.
"Who told you to butt in?" Sasuke addressed his teammates with a cold tone.
"We came to help you, and this is what we get? Although that's just like you." still annoyed Suigetsu replied.
"Shi, check and see if they've got any other allies around. I don't want to worry about more popping in." Darui ordered looking around the room.
"I'm sure there was one more.But if I focus on that one, it'll be hard to stay in the fight." said Shi already bending on one knee to search for any other presences.
"The Boss and I can handle them. You just focus on that" said Darui
'Uh-oh! If I keep searching for Danzo like this, I'll be the one found by that Shi.' sitting against the wall shivering with fright Karin thought.
"Karin will probably extinguish her chakra and hide. She's got that ability." Said Suigetsu.
"That guy in the back is probably a Sensory-Type ninja. We have to take him down. I'll do it." Jugo's curse mark started spreading across his face slowly covering it. Stepping in front of his teammates under his curse mark transformation with his mind reduce to madness.
"Guhahahahahah I'll kill 'em!"
"His change in personality is more surprising than his appearance. Amazing" said Darui
"Focus! This guy's chakra is ridiculous!" Shi warned from behind them.
"Jugo voluntarily gave in to his killer impulse this time. You think he still remembers that we're on his side?" Suigetsu looked at Sasuke with uncertainty.
"Now then, who's first?!" Jugo cackled
"Don't get cocky!" shouted Ay as he crossed the distance between them, extending his fist. Jugo quickly raised his arm, transforming it into a shield, blocking the blow. However, he was unable to keep up with Ay's speed, who pushed him into the wall, causing him to take significant damage from the impact. Despite this, Ay's fist seemed to have pierced through the shield.
"You're mine!" Taking advantage of Shi being distracted, Suigetsu tried to cut him in two, but he was blocked by Darui.
"Nice blade you got there."
"Can't have this just because yours broke."
"One down." Ay said having fully push his fist through the shield and into Jugo's chest.
"You can't take me down with a mere Sharingan!" Said At with his hand still stuck into Jugo looking at Sasuke.
'Lord Raikage's nerve transmission and reaction speed are on par with that of the Leaf's Yellow Flash. Impressive that these guys are keeping up as well as they are!
Lord Raikage has manipulated Lightning Style Chakra to augment his reflexes. Not even the Sharingan will be able to keep up with him.' Shi thought impressed by the fight team Taka was giving them.
"HAHAHAHA Die!" Jugo pushed out the cylinders of his skin towards the Raikage, covering his whole body before firing a wave of Chakra in the form of a blast, point-blank at Ay, destroying their surrounding area and two pillars.
"From point-blank range!" exclaimed Shi in shock, covering his face with his arm as debris flew around him. Peeking over his arm, he looked straight at a shadowy figure whose Sharingan was activated.
'Is this a genjutsu? These guys are cleverly using each other's attacks to divert attention.' The shadowy figure transformed into a giant purple monster with his fingers wrapped around his body slowly consuming him into the darkness.
'And I fell for it...'
'Damn it!... Can't move...'
"Shi!" Darui shouted at him when he saw Shi collapse on the ground.
"Don't go to sleep! Get up!"
"AHAHAHA I killed him! I killed the guy!" Stepping out of his hole in the wall, Jugo looked around in search of any remaining pieces of the Raikage.
'Jugo can be useful, after all. They can't detect me now. Now's my chance to find Danzo.' Karin looked at the destruction Jugo caused at first before noticing Shi's down form on the ground.
"Who's next?!" Jugo called out, hungry for more. As he looked around, waiting, he was suddenly knocked straight into the wall beside him by Ay, who elbowed him in his side. Sasuke attacked simultaneously from behind the Raikage with his sword coated in lightning, trying to cut Ay's head off, but got flung back by with his blade, when it collided with the lightning-armoured body. Activating his Chidori, Sasuke and Ay charged at one another; Ay threw an elbow, which Sasuke ducked under, and stabbed the Raikage in his left pec. As the Chidori and the Lightning Armour collided, they created a huge explosion, with the two in the centre of it. When everything settled, it revealed that Sasuke had only managed to get the tip of his fingers inside Ay's chest. It also revealed that Sasuke had been captured in Ay's hold.
"A thrust attack using the Lightning Style to increase force and penetration. The same jutsu used by Kakashi Hatake! I wear Lightning Style armor, yet you actually touched me." the Raikage commended Sasuke on his success on penetrating his armour. Gripping Sasuke tighter Ay's Chakra skyrocketed with his Lightning armour growing stronger and more potent as the back of his hair began standing up, shocking Karin with the amount of Chakra the Raikage is outputting. Lifting Sasuke overhead he slammed him on the ground cratering it performing his signature move;
*LIGAR BOMB!*
When the dust settled, Ay saw that Sasuke was surrounded by a purple chakra ribcage. Lifting his hand up in a chopping position and bringing it down, only for Sasuke to escape it just in time by growing a skeletal arm from the ribcage.
Observing the new form the Chakra surrounded Sasuke, Aay looked into his eyes and saw a change in them, questioning whether it was indeed the infamous Mangekyo Sharingan. As his left eye started to bleed, crying tears of blood, the veins in his eye strained around his pupil. Lowering his hand, he went on the offensive.
*AMATERASU*
In a flash, a black ball of flames flew at the Raikage. However, with surprising speed, the Raikage dodged it, leaving only an afterimage in its place as the black ball of flames hit a samurai instead. Standing beside Sasuke, he had his left arm raised in a side chopping position.
*LATERAL BOLT OF PAIN*
Upon hearing Aay appear beside him, Sasuke quickly casted a shield of black flames around his purple ribcage. Too enraged to stop the Raikage from hitting Sasuke, he sent him flying with his flame-covered ribcage. Clutching his left eye in pain, blood leaking from his mouth indicated Sasuke had taken damage from the attack; some of his purple bones were broken. Quickly moving the flames with his right eye to the tips of the broken bones, he connected them together. In an instant, the Raikage appeared above him and performed an axe kick. Sasuke shot five black threads to stop him.
*GUILLOTINE DROP*
*INFERNO STYLE: FLAME CONTROL*
Just as they were about to collide, suddenly sand appeared separating the two.
In a dark corner, Yami watched the whole battle unfold between them and took note of the techniques used by the Raikage and Sasuke, all the while keeping his chakra unnoticed.
"So the Kazekage arrived; hmph, guess it's time to leave. Seeing it's suddenly getting too crowded in here... Still, you've become stronger, Sasuke Uchiha. Mangekyo Sharingan. I look forward to fighting you again." After getting everything he wanted, he disappeared from his spot.
