Hello, everyone! PHANTOMKNIGHTMARE47 here, with the sixth chapter of Sonic Forces 2: Eggman's Revenge. This chapter will be a crossover event with MegaMan X. In this chapter, Sonic and his friends meet the Maverick Hunters, X, Zero and Axl, and team up with them to stop the team of Eggman's Army and Sigma's faction. They even encounter a new group of Maverick Reploids in their travels. Will Sonic, X and co. be able to save Mobius and Abel City from Eggman and Sigma's forces? Get ready to find out in this newest chapter of SONIC FORCES 2: EGGMAN'S REVENGE!

Chapter 6: Sonic The Maverick Hunter!
After the gang's time at the Lost Hex, and the defeat and imprisonment of both The Deadly 6 and Dr. Starline, Sonic's former lover, Sally Acorn, had rejoined the Freedom Fighters, following her title as Princess of the Acorn Kingdom being forfeit. Sally had undergone several weeks of physical training, and now had a voluptuous figure, with a thicc rump.
"How do I look, guys?" said Sally with a smirk.
"Amazing," said Sonic, giving his former lover a thumbs-up with his face red.
"HOT DAYUM, SAL! YOU BE THICC!" said Oliver. This prompted Sally to roll her eyes, but giggle a little.
Later, at Eggman's forces, it shows a fuming Eggman watching the monitor screens. "Blast it all! My forces are decreasing, and it's all because of that wretched wharf-rat, Sonic, and his good-for-nothing friends!" Eggman snapped, ready to blow a fuse.
"Face it, Doc. At the rate things are going, the Eggman Army's gonna go belly up, with all of us in handcuffs." said Yomi, matter-of-factly. Suddenly, a portal opened, and a figure wearing armor with a purple sheen, and white and gold highlights, a helmet with a T-shaped visor, and a cannon attached to his shoulder with an ammo feed on it arrived, with several robots.
The first robot was a cross between Rainy Turtloid, Heat Genblem, and Kuzenbot. This was Blast Genbu.
The second robot was a cross between Panter Flauclaws and Destwilder, with bladelike claws on his fingertips, and scythe-like blades on his forearms. This was Slash Byakko.
The third robot was a cross between Blaze Heatnix, Storm Eagle, and Falzar Beast-Out MegaMan, colored red, orange and gold, and appeared to constantly be on fire. This was Hellfire Suzaku.
The fourth robot looked like Magma Dragoon mixed with the DragonZord and Kiryu, with a cyan, indigo, and metallic blue color. This was Typhoon Suiryu.
The fifth robot resembled Slash Beast, with tesla-coils jutting from his back, and was gold, yellow, and silver in color. This was Voltage Liger.
The sixth robot resembled a mechanical gorilla, with ammo-belts on his torso, and grenades on his waist. This was Military Kong.
The seventh robot resembled DevilBat Schilt crossed with an Onycho Magia. This was Nightmare Megabat.
The eighth robot resembled a mechanical humanoid grizzly bear with spiked knuckles and shoulders, and pistons on his elbows. This Maverick was known as Demolition Grizzly.
The ninth and final robot resembled Blizzard Wolffang mixed with Fenri Lunaedge. This was Freezing Direwolf.
"Doctor Eggman, I presume?" said the purple robot.
Eggman's eyes went wide, as he scrambled back. "Wh-wh-who in the world are you!?" he gasped, as he frantically pressed the button for the silent alarm, as Crimson arrived with Sefu and Doug.
"Is everything alright, Doctor?" said Crimson, shocked.
"Yeah, we heard the silent alarm!" said Sefu, sounding like Nappa from Dragon Ball Z
"What gives? Where's the fire?" said Doug, shocked.
"Just show them exactly "what gives", Blast Genbu." said the purple-colored robot "Meanwhile, Hellfire Suzaku, why don't you show them "where's the fire"."
"Yessir." said Hellfire Suzaku, sinisterly.
"With gusto," said Blast Genbu, cracking his mechanical knuckles. Blast Genbu then fired an explosive round from the mortar cannons on his shoulders. Shocking everyone. Hellfire Suzaku then unleashed a torrent of high-intensity flames with a flap of his wings.
"Holy crap!" Doug yelped, as he scrambled back, shocked by what he had just witnessed.
"Who or what are you?" said Eggman, shocked by this.
"I am Vile, and my companions and I are known as Reploids." said the purple robot, introducing himself as Vile, and revealing what he and his fellow machines were.
Later, it shows Sonic racing Madison, Shadow, and Sapphire, in the streets of Mobotropolis, until they suddenly see some SWAT Bots, with some other robots. Sonic and his friends entered fighting stances, until one of the SWAT Bots was blasted into scrap-metal by a large energy blast, while another was vertically sliced in half. A third SWAT Bot was shot full of holes. Sonic and the others saw who did it.
The first figure had cyan and blue armor, and a youthful human face with green eyes.
The second had red armor, with white highlights along his knees, toes, abdomen, and shoulders. One of his shoulders was emblazoned with a stylized "Z" insignia, and his helmet had extended face guards around his cheeks and curved ridges on top that resembled horns. His forehead was white with a deep blue lens on the front. He possessed two green lenses on his chest, arm guards on his wrists, and a flowing blond head of hair that extended from the back of his helmet.
The third had green eyes, an X-shaped scar on his face and spiky auburn hair that sprouts outward rather than flow down. He had armor with black sheen, and red highlights. His shoulder guards are pointed and his legs feature small booster-like compartments. Jutting from his upper back are two long, white retractable "wings." His helmet design, when viewed from topside, resembles an upside down 'A' with a circular camera-like lens in the center.
"Who're you guys?" said Sonic, curious.
"I'm MegaMan X." said the blue and cyan armored young man, sounding like Domon Kasshu, introducing himself as X
"We're X's friends. My name is Zero." said the red-armored figure, sounding like Ichigo Kurosaki.
"And my name's Axl." said the black armored figure.
"We're Reploids from Abel City, in the year 20XX." said X, explaining everything "We're Maverick Hunters."
Later, it shows the gang in Tails's lab, where Tails was examining the three Reploids. "Looks like X, Axl and Zero are a kind of android called a Replicate Android, or Reploid for short." said Tails, examining them, "They're powered via solar energy."
X, Zero and Axl had their helmets off, revealing that X had spiky dark hair like the original MegaMan, Rock Light. Zero had a full head of hair, as did Axl.
"We've tracked nine Maverick Reploids here on Mobius." said X, explaining everything. "And Vile is with them, and possibly Sigma's on this planet as well."
"Will you help us?" said Zero, asking Team Sonic for help
"Yes." said Sonic, nodding in confirmation.
Later, it shows Sonic with Alex, Brad, Scar, Chance, Grayson, and X in a mine, investigating. "Our first target is Blast Genbu. He was designed for scheduled demolition." said X "To hear that he's gone Maverick is an absolute shocker."
Suddenly, Blast Genbu then rolled in, tucked into his spiked shell, before his head and limbs popped out.
"Here comes the boom, bitches!" said Blast Genbu. "So, the famed Maverick Hunter, MegaMan X, graces me with his presence."
"Why are you doing this, Blast Genbu!? You had a bright future ahead of you!" said X
"Sorry, but I've realized my purpose in life, serving under the almighty Lord Sigma!" said Blast Genbu
"That settles it! You have definitely gone Maverick!" said X, as he aimed his X-Buster at the snapping turtle Maverick Reploid.
(Cue BGM: "Find Your Flame" by Kellin Quinn and Tyler Smyth)
X then shot solar energy blasts from his X-Buster at Blast Genbu, managing to land some damage. Sonic's body glowed with Chaos Energy, and he spun-dash Blast Genbu several times, Brad then manifested his Psychic Energy sword and slashed Blast Genbu numerous times, Scar managed to land a powerful attack of his own, and Grayson shot some toxic spikes at Blast Genbu, before X blasted Blast Genbu into scrap metal with a charged shot, and he inserted a SD-card like object into his X-Buster, turning his armor bronze, gray and black, matching Blast Genbu's color-scheme.
"Looks like I got Blast Genbu's Napalm Shell." said X.
"Like the original MegaMan, Rock Light, use your X-Buster's Weapons Adaptation System like a game of Roshambo." said Tails on X's communicator. "One enemy's strength can become another foe's downfall."
"Handy." said X. The gang then teleported to another location.
It shows the gang in the Marble Garden Zone, where X saw Amy, Zero, Yutaro, Shadow, and Axl fighting against Demolition Grizzly.
"One of Blast Genbu's friends, I take it?" said Sonic.
"According to his file, Blast Genbu and Demolition Grizzly are workmates and friends of the same demolition crew." said Tails on the communicator.
"I know that it was you who scrapped Blast Genbu, X!" Demolition Grizzly roared, infuriated by the death of his close friend. "Now, I'm gonna return the damned favor!"

Sonic, Zero, Amy, Yutaro, X, Shadow, Alex, Chance, Axl, Brad, and Grayson fought against Demolition Grizzly, with X firing a Napalm Shell at Demolition Grizzly. Zero delivered a final blow on Demolition Grizzly, and X got a new weapon: Demolition Grizzly's Demolisher Ball.
Later, it shows the gang arriving at the Hidden Palace Zone, where they saw Knuckles and Gloria fighting against Military Kong. "You worms might have invented the art of guerrilla warfare, but I've perfected it!" said Military Kong, as he swung at the red Echidna. Axl shot at Warfare Kong, putting holes in the Maverick Reploid's body, before X arrived with the others, and they kept damaging Warfare Kong until X delivered the final blow with the Demolisher Ball used by Demolitions Grizzly, causing an explosion. X then acquired Warfare Kong's weapon, the Warfare Missile, as shown by X's armor turning camo colored.
Later, it shows the group at Flicky Island, until they look to see Hellfire Suzaku causing trouble.
"Time for this Zone to burn to ashes, until there is nothing left!" said Hellfire Suzaku, cackling madly.
"Not gonna happen, bub!" said Noah, as he, X, Sonic, Cyo, Chance, Bonnie, Knuckles, Zero and Axl arrived.

"Then I'll enjoy cremating you alive!" said Hellfire Suzaku, as he sent a tornado of fire at the heroes, who evaded. Zero and X fired from their busters, damaging Hellfire Suzaku. Shadow charged up a spin-dash, charging up his body with orange Chaos Energy. Zero slashed downwards with the Z-Saber, and X fired a charged shot at Hellfire Suzaku with the Warfare Missile. X then acquired Hellfire Suzaku's weapon, the Hellfire Stream, turning X's armor red, orange and gold.
Later, the gang were at the Ice Cap Zone. They looked to see Blizzard Direwolf causing havoc there, laughing like a madman. Suddenly, they looked to see a big, obese, female Mobian polar bear arrive with a Mobian arctic wolf, a Mobian white tiger, a Mobian arctic fox, a female Mobian leopard seal, a Mobian emperor penguin, a Mobian snowy owl, a Mobian arctic wolf, a Mobian snow-leopard and a Mobian western dragon with a white body, and cyan eyes.
"Let's go, Team Frostbite!" said the white tiger, sounding like Kenichi Kai, as he and his team rushed the Maverick reploid. They helped Sonic and co. in fighting the cryokinetic werewolf Maverick Reploid, landing blows, dents and scratches on Blizzard Direwolf's body. X finished the job using the Hellfire Stream, turning Blizzard Direwolf into scrap metal, and obtaining his weapon, the Permafrost Beam.
"Wow, we're actually meeting the members of Team Sonic!" said the arctic fox, elated by the fact that the gang was meeting Sonic and his friends.
"I'm Jacob the White Tiger, the team leader." said the white tiger. Jacob was a Mobian white mainland tiger dressed similar to Riku from Kingdom Hearts 3. He had white fur, with three black stripes each on both cheeks, white hair with black stripes like Torou the Tiger, and dark cyan eyes. He also had a mechanical left arm that extended to his shoulder, and armor similar to Cyo's, but cyan, with golden-yellow lights, a tech-spine, and the bottom of his tail was bionic. In his hands was a Laser Wispon based off of the MK Sniper Rifle.
"My name is Landon the Snow Leopard." said the snow leopard, sounding like Kenichi Shirahama. Landon had silver fur, and sky-blue eyes. He wore a gray and blue jacket.
"My name is Sophia the Polar Bear." said the female polar-bear. Sophia was a big, obese female Mobian polar bear with blue eyes, wearing a crop-top, booty-shorts, and boots.
"I'm Layla the Leopard Seal." said a female Mobian leopard seal, introducing herself.
"My name's Russell the Arctic Wolf." said a Mobian arctic wolf, who had white fur, cyan eyes, and wore a jean jacket over a blue t-shirt, jeans, and snow boots.
"My name's Emmett the Arctic Fox." said the Mobian arctic fox. He had white fur, brown eyes, and orange clothing.
"My name is Nolan the Snowy Owl." said a Mobian snowy owl
"I'm Theodore the Penguin." said the Mobian emperor penguin.
"And I'm Blizzard the Ice Dragon." said the Mobian ice dragon, introducing himself.
"We're Team Frostbite, and we protect the Ice Cap Zone from people like Eggman." said Jacob.
Later, the gang were at Mazuri, where they saw Slash Byakko fighting against Gakere.
"Get the hell out of our village, you tin-can!" said Gakere, fighting Slash Byakko. Suddenly, a green-colored Reploid male arrived. He wore green and golden-yellow armor, with tan skin, green eyes, and reddish-brown hair.
"Who're you?" said Slash Byakko.
"The name's Delta. I'm a Maverick Hunter." said the Reploid, sounding like Cal Kestis. Delta's right arm converted into the Delta-Buster, as a visor and face-shield closed over his face. He then shot Slash Byakko.
"Who's that guy?" said Sonic.
"His name is Delta, a Reploid constructed by Dr. Light, Dr. Cossack, and Dr. Cain." said Zero, explaining everything. Delta then slashed downwards with his energy sword, slicing Slash Byakko clean in half. Delta acquired a new attack, and gave the weapons chip for Slash Byakko's Slash Claw to X.
It cuts to the gang in Empire City, where they looked to see Stormbringer Suiryu fighting against a new team of Freedom Fighters, composed of a Mobian gray wolf armed with his own Variable Wispon, a pink-colored wolf, a big and obese male brown bear in a purple gi, a mimic octopus, a Blue spix macaw, a gray jackrabbit, a wildcat, a raccoon, a white tiger, a lion, and a Gizoid.
"You're nothing more than mere organics!" said Typhoon Suiryu.
"Wanna bet!?" said the wolf, sounding like how Dan Kouzo sounds in Bakugan: Battle Planet. A cyan Wisp flew into his Variable Wispon, and he fired at the Maverick Reploid. The pink wolf fired from her laser crossbow, and the lion fired at Stormbringer Suiryu from a pair of dual handguns.
"Need a hand?" said X, as he used the Slash Claw to help fight, and Zero then sliced Typhoon Suiryu in half. X then got the Dragon Tsunami used by Typhoon Suiryu.
"Thanks for the aid. My name is Tristan the Wolf." said the Mobian wolf. Logan was a Mobian male based off of an anthropomorphic American gray wolf, with light gray-colored fur, and white skin for his muzzle and the inside of his ears. He has four small tufts of fur on both sides of the back of his head, Amy's hair-bangs on his forehead, fluffy cheeks on his muzzle, a triangular nose, pointed ears that curve upwards, and bright-orange colored eyes. He also had a large, bushy tail, three scratch-like scars on his left eyelid, and a cross-shaped scar on his right 's clothing was composed of an indigo blue, gray and black colored version of Sora's jacket from Kingdom Hearts III with yellow lines on the shoulders over an Ultraman Zero custom t-shirt, gray-blue jean shorts, black fingerless driving gloves, yellow bracelets, and indigo shoes.
"I'm Logan's girlfriend, Jenny," said the female pink-colored wolf. Jenny had hot-pink fur, a beige muzzle, three tufts of fur on both sides of the back of her head, and cyan eyes. She wore white and blue colored clothing.
"My name is Haruo the Bear." said the bear, sounding like Captain Ginyu
"I'm Tyler the Tiger." said the white tiger. He had the same hairdo as Jacob, and had white fur with black stripes, and cyan eyes. He wore an indigo Yozora jacket over an Ultraman Z t-shirt, indigo-blue jeans, black fingerless driving gloves, cyan bracelets, and indigo-blue shoes.
"My name is Azure the Octopus." said the female mimic octopus. Azure had cyan-colored skin, and silver eyes with black sclera and an indigo leotard.
"My name is Martin Macaw." said the macaw, sounding like Mordecai from Regular Show. Martin had sapphire-blue feathers and green eyes, and a gray-colored beak. He wore a jacket over a t-shirt, jeans, fingerless gloves, boots and aviator goggles.
"I'm Malcolm The Wildcat." said the Mobian wildcat. Malcolm had sandy-tan fur with dark-brown stripes, green eyes, and peach skin. He wore a t-shirt with a ghost on it, fingerless gloves, and sneakers.
"My name is Humphrey Lightfoot the Jackrabbit." said the rabbit. Humphrey was a Mobian rex rabbit with gray fur, citrus-green eyes, beige skin, and wore a denim jacket over a black t-shirt, and green sneakers
"I'm Arthur Leonhardt the Lion." said the Mobian lion. Arthur had marigold colored fur, a beige muzzle with fluffy cheeks, and reddish-brown hair styled like Broly from Dragon Ball Super, reddish-brown chest fur, and a reddish-brown tail tuft. His eyes were reddish-brown as well. He wore a purple and blue t-shirt over a gray and black KHIII Sora Jacket, jeans, black and gray sneakers, fingerless driving gloves, and spiked bracelets.
"My name is Delta, I'm a Gizoid." said a male Gizoid with an indigo-blue and violet color-scheme.
"My name is Raymond Raccoon, but everyone calls me Gadget." said the Mobian raccoon. He had gray fur with the usual raccoon fur-pattern, a white muzzle with fluffy cheeks, three tufts of fur each on both sides of his head, dark-cyan colored eyes, three hair-bangs like Amy's on his forehead with black tips, and a large bushy tail. He wore a Yozora-styled jacket over an Ultraman Tiga t-shirt, jeans, fingerless driving gloves, green bracelets, and green shoes.
"Together, the ten of us are Team Freedom." said Trista
Later, it shows the gang in Adabat, where they saw Nightshade Megabat causing trouble for the G.U.N soldiers stationed there, so Sonic then spin-dashed the bat Maverick out of the sky
"I hate it when you heroes ruin a villain's fun!" said Nightshade Megabat, annoyed. Suddenly, Zavok arrived, having decided to join the fight.
"One way or another, Sonic, you will be a member of the Deadly Six!" said Zavok.
"Never gonna happen. Wanna know why?" said Sonic, visibly agitated. "It's because all that you and the rest of the Deadly Six, Zeena included are, are irredeemable monsters and spoiled, bratty children WHO WHINE, COMPLAIN, AND THROW TEMPER-TANTRUMS JUST TO GET WHAT THEY FREAKING WANT! Especially if what they want DOESN'T want them back."
"Then Adabat will be your grave." said Zavok, glaring at the blue hedgehog and his friends.

Sonic and X fought against Nightshade Megabat, and managed to deal some damage, as Zero and Axl fought against Zavok with help from Tails, Knuckles and Amy. As soon as X got done turning Nightshade Megabat into scrap-metal and gaining his Sonar Array, they heard a gun cock.
"STOP OR THEY PERISH!" said Zavok, as he had one of Axl's guns pointed at Amy, Tails and Knuckles. "One step closer, and I'll make sure they end up dead!"
"The only person who'll end up dead is YOU!" said Zero, as he then slashed Zavok's eyes with the Z-Saber, destroying his vision, and rendering the red-colored Zeti permanently blind. Zavok's eyes were revealed to be pale and featureless as a result.
"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Zavok screamed, as he doubled over. He backed away from Zero, fear in his featureless eyes.
"Like Sonic said: You're never gonna get him to turn evil for your selfish desires." said Zero, glaring at the leader of the Deadly Six. "And neither you OR Eggman are gonna get Sonic to join the Eggman Army OR the Deadly Six! Wanna know why? It's because all you, Eggman, and every other villain that we've faced off against, are just BRATTY, SELFISH, SPOILED CHILDREN WHO WHINE, COMPLAIN, AND THROW TEMPER-TANTRUMS JUST TO GET WHATEVER THE HELL THEY GODDAMN FREAKING WANT! Especially, if what they want doesn't want them back."
"And like you said, Zavok." said Axl, as he then grabbed the Z-Saber, ready to slice the red Zeti's head off. "Adabat will be your grave."
"AXL, WAIT!" said X, shocked. "We don't kill. But, what we will do, is make it so that Zavok and the rest of the Deadly Six, Zeena included, are locked away in Zone Jail for good."
"Honestly, Mobianity would be a lot safer with the Deadly Six in prison." said Shadow. Zavok was then fitted with handcuffs, and loaded into a Zone Police van.
"We managed to stop the Mavericks working for Eggman and Sigma. Now off to fight Sigma, Vile, and Eggstache." said Sonic, as he and his friends teleported off.
It shows Sonic, alongside Tails, Knuckles, Amy, X, Zero, Axl, and Delta in a fortress, where they looked to see Vile arrive.
"So, you've come to try and stop us." said Vile, sneering.
"Yeah. We're gonna send Eggman and Sigma's plans to the scrap-yard!" said Sonic.
"I welcome you to try, because this place will be your grave." said Vile.
(BGM: "I Am Machine" by Three Days Grace plays)
With that, the heroes then rushed Vile, trading blows with the purple-colored Reploid in hand-to-hand combat. Vile then attempted to fire from his shoulder-cannon, but then Zero slashed it off, and Delta smashed Vile's visor with a punch.
"You rotten little punks…!" Vile snarled, as he tried to attack again, only for Sonic to spin-dash him hard enough to knock him through the doors of Sigma's temple.
"Well now. Sonic The Hedgehog." said Sigma, smirking.
"It's over, Sigma. Your sorry hide is getting turned into scrap-metal by the time we're done with you!" said Sonic. He and his friends got their weapons out.
"I welcome you to try." said Sigma, as he drew an energy scythe. He then lunged at the heroes, but Zero managed to counter with every slash from his Z-Saber, and Delta managed to wrench the scythe from Sigma's hands and slice the bald Reploid's head clean off.
"Is it over?" said Tails.
"OOGA-BOOGA!" Sigma exclaimed, startling the heroes.
"HOLY CRAP!" Sonic blurted out, startled. Sigma's head then attached itself to a larger body.
"I will show you the true power of us Reploids!" said Sigma.
"We're gonna settle this, right here and now!" said X, as the Chaos Emeralds surrounded him, Zero, Axl, Sonic, Shadow and Silver. "WE WILL DEFEAT YOU, SIGMA!"

With that, Sonic, Shadow and Silver went Super, as did X, Axl and Zero, with their armors turning gold, white and silver. With that, they then rushed the powered-up Sigma, landing several powerful strikes on the evil Reploid. Zero fired some shots from the Zero-Buster, while Axl shot at Sigma with his Axl Bullets, and Super Sonic unleashed several punches and kicks, the same went for Super Shadow and Super Silver, who were also damaging Sigma's larger body.
"Say your goodbyes, Sigma!" said X, as he charged up a shot infused with Chaos Energy, with Zero, Axl, Sonic, Shadow and Silver behind him so that the recoil wouldn't harm X, and the Reploid then fired a powerful beam at Sigma, turning him into scrap metal.

Later, it shows a portal opening for X, Axl, Zero and Delta to return back to their timeline.
"Seeya, Sonic." said X, smiling a little. "You guys take care now, alright?"
"We will." said Sonic. "Seeya, X."
With that, X, Axl and Zero then returned to Abel City.

Next time, on Sonic Forces 2: Eggman's Revenge, Sonic and his friends are busy resting after their adventure with the Maverick Hunters, until they hear about there being a string of violent murders going on, with a majority of the victims being flayed alive, butchered, and eaten by wild animals. Will Sonic and co. be able to solve this murder mystery? Get ready to find out in Chapter 7: The Madness Of Rosy The Rascal!
