Stargazing With Luffy

A/N: I just realized I was spelling Zoro as "Zorro" a few times in the previous chapters and I very much apologize for that lol Anyway, this is the last chapter and I hope y'all enjoy! :) Love y'all!

Zoro felt the poke of someone's finger touching his face a few times and a familiar voice whispering his name, "Zoroooo? Zorooo? You awake?"

Zoro groaned and opened his eyes, I turned his over and saw Luffy close to his face, he gave him a glare after waking him up from his beauty sleep at this time of the evening. "What do you WANT? What are you doing up? Can you not see what time it is right now?"

"Sorry to wake you, Zoro but can I show you something outside? I promise I'll make it quick"

"Whatever it is, can't you show me tomorrow?" Zoro rolled his eyes and turned over in his hammock.

"Pleeease Zoro? I said I'll make it quick!" Luffy begged and begged.

Zoro groaned in annoyance then sighed. "Fine! As long as you keep your word, I'll see what you want to show me"

Luffy smiled, "Trust me! I promise this won't take long"

With that, Luffy lead Zoro out of the bedroom and onto the deck of the Going Merry ship. Zoro was curious to why Luffy lead him out here in the middle of the night. Luffy then points up to the sky with a smile.

"That's what I wanna show you!" Luffy says.

Zoro followed his finger to what he was showing him, he looks up and sees the night sky but when he looks a little bit more, he sees a constellation of stars. He didn't understand what the big deal is, stars come out every night so why did Luffy bring him out here to look at them?

"You brought me up from my sleep in the middle of the night just to look at some stars?" Zoro asked in an irritated tone.

"Well yes! But look closer!" Luffy said excitedly. "You see that one that I'm pointing at? Those group of stars kinda looks like the jolly roger on our flag? Can you see it?"

Zoro squinted and tilted his head to get a better look at the group of stars that Luffy claims looks like the jolly roger on their flag of their Going Merry ship. "Luffy, I don't see it, this is a waste of my time, I'm going to bed"

"No! Wait!" Luffy objected, gently grabbing Zoro's arm to stop him from leaving. "Please stay for a little while longer? You didn't even take time to take a good look at it"

Zoro sighed and shook his head, he knew this boy wasn't going to let him go to bed until he was finished showing him what he saw. "Fine!" Zoro took another look at the group of stars that Luffy was showing him a few seconds ago, the more, he looked the more he finally took the time to see that the group of stars looks a little like their Jolly Roger.

"Hmm, you know? I actually see it" Zoro says.

Luffy smiles, "See? I told you! Isn't it cool?"

Zoro shrugs, "I guess, if you say so, can I PLEASE go to bed now?"

"No wait! I gotta show you a few more!"

"Are you kidding me, Luffy? You said you'd make this quick! You literally promised!" Zoro snapped at him a little.

Luffy held his hands up in defense and chuckled, "I know, Zoro, I know but I promise at the bottom of my rubber heart, after I show you a few more stars, I'll let you get your beauty sleep and I'll never bother you about this again in the future"

"Alright then, hurry it up because I'm tired"

With that, Luffy showed Zoro a few more group of stars and started passionately explaining to him what they were and what they meant. Like the White Dwarfs, Supergiants, Star clusters, and so on. They basically ended up stargazing for a bit and as much Zoro didn't want to admit, it was….. Pretty nice doing this with one of his closest friends. Last time he went stargazing was with his old late friend, Kuina and that was many years ago so doing the same thing with Luffy brought back so many memories for him but he wasn't going to admit that as mentioned earlier.

After Luffy was done explaining the last group of stars and basically stargazing with him, Zoro was relieved that he was done and yawned as he felt his eyes getting heavy and he couldn't fight the sleep anymore, Luffy noticed this and caught Zoro in his arms before Zoro could hit the floor of the ship deck.

Luffy smiled and picked up Zoro in his arms, then he carried him to the room and gently placed him on his hammock, he put the blanket over him as Zoro snored and was fast asleep.

"Goodnight, sleepy head" Luffy chuckled, "I had a pretty good feeling you liked stargazing with me, hopefully we can do this again in the future if you're not too tired next time" He says before hopping his own hammock and falling asleep himself.
