Rivercourt Rambles
Chapter 17
Because the camera's don't see beyond the walls or the smiles
They say that money is freedom
But I feel trapped inside it all.
On top of the world it's beautiful
But there's no place to fall.
"Karen and I are looking forward to becoming grandparents."
"Would be more then okay with sharing the title of grandparent."
"But we have our concerns. Given you're lack of wanting to parent Brooke all her life." Keith admitted.
Victoria glared at him. "We have made our intentions clear to our daughter." She replied.
"With you running the auto body shop and Karen running the cafe."
"I imagine you won't have time or energy to be hands on." Ted proclaimed.
Karen's grip tightened Keith's hand. "Family is our first priority."
"That is a foreign concept to the both of you. But that should matter beyond material things." She stated matter of fact.
Victoria rolled her eyes. "Oh Karen Jealously and bitterness doesn't do suit you." She replied.
"We should order." Brooke announced.
"It's a special occasion. Some alcohol of some kind is needed." Ted said.
"Wine. White or red.?" Victoria asked.
"The two of you can drink if you want. Brooke and I will have sparkling water or something else non alcoholic." Lucas announced.
The waiter came over to ask about drinks and orders.
Once that was over. The couple talked amongst themselves.
Relieved that the back and forth between The Davis's and the Scott's was starting to cool down.
The orders soon came. They ate and drank in an uncomfortable silence. Everything wouldn't be resolved over one meal. But it was a start.
As camera flashes and tabloid reporters filled the country club.
"So the rumors are true.?"
"You're pregnant and Julian Baker is the father.?" One of the tabloid reporter's questioned Brooke.
"Get away. Leave us alone!" Lucas exclaimed.
"We've heard rumors about you're pregnancy for some time. How do you think this will affect the image and brand of Clothes over bros.?" A man asked.
While flashes of a camera continued.
"There is no truth to these rumors. The babies i'm having belong to me and my husband." Brooke proclaimed.
"According to an inside source. Lucas wasn't enough to satisfy you."
"And maybe you decided to find comfort elsewhere." The tabloid reporter announced.
"Go to hell!" Brooke exclaimed. Before getting into the car.
Lucas quickly driving away.
...
Eventually the couple got home.
Lucas followed Brooke's lead upstairs. And into their bedroom.
Lucas began to remove the suit he had on.
Brooke put her hands on his.
"Forget what happened out there. None of that matters now." Brooke said.
"But it does. People think. I don't like these rumors." Lucas said.
"I haven't spoken or seen Julian in months. The rare meet ups we had back then were about work."
"This isn't an issue worth discussing. The brunch was a success despite how it ended."
"I don't want to talk anymore. We made these babies out of love." Brooke insisted.
After tearing off his shirt and suit jacket.
Lucas pulled down his pants and took her out of the dress.
With one movement. Brooke remained in her bra and panties.
While he was only in his boxers.
He pulled her close to him. Carefully removing the bra. Adding to the disregarded pile of clothes on the floor.
He buried his face in her chest. Giving her breasts the attention and care needed.
He soon felt the buds harden his mouth. He then started to suck on them. Then bite.
Brooke felt her hands digging into his hair. She pushed her chest towards him. Over and over.
Her body especially sensitive now. So the sensations were that much more intense.
She hadn't even realized he removed her panties. Until she felt his hardened member press against her womanhood.
Which turned her heavy breaths to moans and groans.
As she laid him on his back. And started to kiss his bare chest. And down his toned stomach.
Lucas sighed deeply. Grabbing onto her head.
Their eyes locked on each other. As she expressed her love for him.
"Brooke." Lucas chanted. Watching as she worked her mouth and hands.
"Oh god Yes! Brooke." Lucas exclaimed. As his body shook. And his eyes rolled back.
When Lucas recovered. He pulled her on top of him.
Brooke moved her hips. And gripped his chest. As her hair flew wildly. Her full chest bounced. Her skin flushed.
He slowed down her movements only to make this moment between them last longer.
Time slowed once Brooke reached her peak of pure all consuming bliss.
She cried out his name and clung to him. Losing herself in them.
...
Victoria and Ted awaited in their limo for Karen and Keith to leave.
Ted walked towards the camera men and tabloid reporters.
"How much do we owe you.?" Ted asked.
Lucas Scott had insecurity that ran deep. Ted and Victoria made it their business to know it all.
