Authors Note: Here it is, the first new chapter of a "Wish of Peace" that was never released for the original story! This chapter was heavily done already when the OG author sent it to me, so I went through, touched it up and finished the ending of the here on, it's all new original territory and content for me. I've wrote down plans, anaylzed where the original intent was, and tried to get it as close to that as I could! Hope to have my first chapter of this story out relatively soon, but until then I will continue to accept requests, suggestions and everything and anything in between!Thank you everyone.
The full moon illuminated the ground below, shining brightly in the starry sky as it peered down at the ground below. Said ground currently hosted Tokyo's dockyard, where several ships and crates were scattered about.
The yard was mostly silent as most of the workers had gone home for the day, the only sound being the sound of mice running back and forth, along with birds flying overhead and landing.
However, that silence was broken rather loudly by the sound of heels clicking against the floor, followed by several others close behind. The sound of the heels belonged to the masked liberator, Zero.
The two behind him were the two who accompanied him on his mission to save Suzaku a day before, Kallen Koizuki and Kaname Ohgi. The rest of the group who decided to join Zero after witnessing his display had positioned themselves at various positions across the dockyard, all of the positions being ordered by Zero himself as they aimed at the meeting location.
Zero walked without saying anything, while Ohgi and Kallen also followed after him in silence as their faces were covered by a hat and sunglasses. Finally they came to a stop as Zero stared straight ahead, awaiting any moment now.
Nothing immediately happened, as Kallen and Ohgi looked at each other in doubt that this extremist group would even show up in the first place.
Finally however, three figures emerged from the shadows as Kallen and Ohgi tensed up, their hands immediately going to their weapon holsters so they would be ready. Zero however made no such movements. He watched as the three figures made themselves visible under the same moonlight, as everybody could see their casual attire.
One figure was leading up front, while two stayed behind them much in the same way as Kallen and Ohgi did with Zero. The two figures in the back were dressed in an all black attire with swords on their back, and shurikens and kunais stationed along their waist. Their faces were covered by a fox and dragon mask respectively, and they wore sandals with socks of all things.
The figure in front however was different, dressed in a green vest that was aligned with various weapons on the front, with the 'Blood of the Samurai' symbol on the back of it. Two swords were assigned to his hips, as his long lack pants extended to his feet where unlike the two behind him, combat boots adorned them. Also unlike the two behind him, his face wasn't completely covered by a mask. Silver hair stood out straight as one of his eyes was exposed, his other eye, mouth and nose however were covered by a face mask of sorts.
Zero and the man stared at each other for a moment without saying anything as if they were sizing one another up, before finally Zero was the one to make the first move.
"So, you must be the friend that I was told about, the one who keeps attempting to recruit for the 'Blood of the Samurai' group."
The figure gave a short nod, not completely convinced of this Zero fellow as he responded.
"That would be me…And you must be Zero, the one who pulled that stunt on TV yesterday, and the one that I was recommended."
Zero gave a nod as moved his arm across his body and suddenly gave a theatrical bow towards the man, who narrowed his eye at the display.
"You would be correct in your deduction, Mr Kakashi Hatake."
The man that Zero called Kakashi seemed surprised by the name drop, though he quickly collected himself as he spoke.
"You know who I am?"
"Yes…Kakashi Hatake, former Army Corps General of Japan who continued fighting even after the death of the Prime Minister. Though you were young, you quickly rose up the ranks and eventually was named third in command of the Army. After Britannia successfully conquered the land, you and several living members of the Army including the Grand Marshall escaped into hiding. Over the years, your group has become one of the largest resistance groups in the country."
"Hmph, you've done your homework, I'll give you that."
"I've studied the military of the old country for as long as I can remember, from the structure to its various members of high authority over the years."
"I see, well since you know who I truly am, wouldn't it be respectable for you to share who you truly are as well?" Kallen and Ohgi tensed up behind Zero, whose identity was only known to a select few.
They thought he would refuse, and any and all talks would die on the spot.
However…
"Very well, I will reveal who I am on one condition."
Kallen and Ohgi looked up in shock, surprised that Zero would so willingly show somebody who he truly was.
"What would be this one condition?"
Kakashi replied nonchalantly.
"I reveal who I am to you in private, away from any prying eyes that could work to betray me. We will each bring one guard with us, so it will be an even playing field."
Kakashi seemed intrigued by the idea, even if he didn't take Zero as much of a threat when it came to physical capabilities. At the very least, he could find out who Zero was and act accordingly from there.
"Very well…Dragon, come with me." The one in the Dragon mask saluted as he walked closer to Kakashi.
"Q-1, let's go." Zero called out to Kallen, who straightened herself up and nodded as she walked forward and joined Zero. "I'll let you choose the place of the private reveal, so you don't have anything to be worried about."
Kakashi nodded, having no complaints as he pointed over at a building not too far from where they were standing.
"That building over there is where I occasionally meet with sellers from the Black Market, we've never had any problems so it doesn't appear to be bugged."
"That works for me, let's go Q-1." Kallen nodded once again as she began to follow Zero, as Kakashi also turned and started making his way over to the building with Dragon at his side.
The walk was uneventful as nobody said anything as they approached the building as Dragon walked forward and opened the door, allowing Kakashi to walk in first before he followed. Zero then walked in next, and Kallen took up the rear as she closed the door behind her.
The inside of the room was nothing special, a traditional waiting room with a desk at the front and a door beside it. Appointments and the like appeared to be made here, and then they would be called to the back for whatever they had come here for.
Zero and Kakashi stood at opposite sides of the room, with their respective guards beside them.
"Very well Zero, let's see who you are."
"Before that Kakashi, wouldn't it be more respectful if we all showed our faces?"
"Hm? You want me to pull down my mask as well?"
"Not just you…Dragon and Q-1 will also reveal their faces as well." Kallen looked over at Lelouch with wide eyes, worry building in the pit of her stomach at having to reveal who she was to somebody else, even if they were in a confined room.
Kakashi raised an eyebrow, but didn't fully object as he spoke. "Very well…However, your guard must reveal themselves first."
"No problem, Q-1?" Zero looked over at Kallen who bit the bottom of her lip, not happy about having to go along with this. Still, if she objected it would jeopardize Zeros plans so she had no choice about the matter.
Giving a quiet sigh, she reached up and removed her sunglasses as she folded them up and placed them in her pocket, before reaching up and grabbing her hat as she removed it as well to show off her pink hair as she looked up at Kakashi, her face completely revealed now.
Kakashi didn't say anything for a moment as he looked her over, before giving a nod as his eye looked back at Dragon.
Understanding the look, Dragon reached up and grabbed their mask as they removed it, revealing another mask underneath it, a completely black mask that covered the face, hair and everything. Grabbing the top of the black mask, Dragon pulled off the rest of it to reveal their face.
Immediately blond hair popped out from underneath the mask, which was rolled up onto a bun to fit underneath the tight face mask. Teal eyes complimented their face, as they had a stern and serious look on their face.
Like Kakashi beforehand, Zero didn't immediately say anything as he simply looked Dragon over before he returned his look to Kakashi.
"Alright Zero, it's your turn."
Zero still didn't say anything for a moment, before suddenly one of his hands began to lift up to his face. Kakashi thought he was about to take the mask off, but instead Zero pressed two fingers up against the side of his helmet as he gave a nod. "I understand, good work."
Zero dropped his hand back down as everybody in the room gave him a strange look, not knowing exactly what he just meant.
"Alright Kakashi, we can drop the act now."
"What do you mean?" Kakashi was confused as he tilted his head, not knowing exactly what Zero was suddenly going on about.
Zero gave a light chuckle as a part of his mask opened up to reveal one of his red eyes, as it locked with both Kakashi and Dragon as he spoke. "You Can Drop The Act Now, And Reveal Yourselves As Double Agents Who Have Actually Sworn Fealty Towards Me!"
With his Geass activated, it connected with both Kakashi and Dragon as they both went wide eyed, before red rings formed around their eyes, and quickly relaxed. Quickly raising a fist to their chests, they both nodded as Kakashi spoke "Understood My Lord!"
It was Kallens turn to be surprised as she looked at both Kakashi and Dragon, what was going on? "Z-Zero, whats…"
Zero didn't say anything for a moment as he reached up once again, only this time he actually took his mask off to reveal half his face, before he reached up and pulled down the purple half mask he wore as well.
"Z-Zero!"
"It's fine Kallen." Dropping her code name, Lelouch turned towards her and smiled. "That was all an act, the two of them work for me."
"H-Huh? What do you mean?"
"The two of them are double agents who have worked for my family for as long as I can remember, you see when Britannia invaded Japan my Mother and Father worked here as ambassadors. Feeling betrayed by the sudden invasion, they revoked their Britannian status and assisted the Japanese in the fighting. The two of them here were about to be gunned down when my father and mother threw themselves in front of the gunfire to save them. This gave enough time for them to cut down the assailants, though it was already too late for my parents. Holding my parents in their arms, the two of them swore their loyalty to my family and have assisted in taking care of me ever since. As soon as I made my intentions clear however to destroy Britannia myself, they both swore to assist me and have been working as double agents ever since, giving me information both about the 'Blood of the Samurai' and any information they may have gotten ahold of."
"R-Really…?"
"Yes, really…Isn't that right Kakashi?"
Lelouch looked over at Kakashi, who's geassed eyes lit up almost as he nodded. "Yes My Lord, it is as you say."
Kallen looked at Kakashi and Dragon, taking in that information dump all at once. Slowly however she nodded, putting pieces together.
"I-I see…T-That makes sense…H-How else could you get as much information as you do?"
"Well, they give me about half the information, the other half I really do have to dig up myself, such as Clovers death announcement."
"I-I see…" Kallen was a bit speechless, almost in awe of all the twists Lelouch kept pulling out of nowhere. "O-Oh, what about what you just did? Right before you told them to drop the act?"
Lelouch gave a small chuckle as he raised his hand and snapped, and after a moment the door beside the desk opened as a familiar green-haired girl in white walked out, a gun in hand as her clothes and parts of her face were covered in blood.
"CC…Status report."
CC rolled her eyes, not really enjoying this act, but still told him what he wanted to hear. "Fifteen Troops…Fifteen Casualties."
"Very good, mission accomplished then."
"Fifteen…What do you mean?" Kallen spoke up once again as confusion was still on her face, as Lelouch began to explain.
"What we kept the act up for, it was so CC and the other Samurai could take out the Britannian spies who have been following us."
"B-Britannian spies…?"
"Yes, I noticed it when I was making preparations for tonight that several Britannian troops were in close range and keeping a watch on us as we got close. To prepare for this, I had Kakashi station troops inside of this building, and alongside CC here they worked together to take out the spies who would try to infiltrate our talks. Before you worry, the Samurai are also loyal to me as well, so we have nothing to worry about."
"I-I see…" Kallen looked over towards the blood soaked CC, still standing in the door frame as she kept the gun in her hand.
CC looked mostly unimpressed still, as she went to step out of the-
Bang
Suddenly, a loud bang was heard in the air as CC's arm suddenly busted open as blood spilled out, causing her to immediately fall to the ground as she cried out in pain.
"CC!" Lelouch suddenly called to her, but before he could run towards her she looked up at him.
"Z-Zero! E-Enemy troops!" CC called out as Lelouch bit his lip, quickly pulling the helmet up and placing it on his head to conceal himself as the sound of boots rang out, before finally a figure in purple turned the corner and appeared before them.
"Well well, looks like I've struck the jackpot." The figure gave a laugh as he looked over the small room, a gun cupped in his right gloved hand with a sword in his left. "Both the killer of His Highness, and a high ranking member of the 'Blood of the Samurai' in the same room? It seems my intel was right on the money."
Everybody in the room recognized the person who had just entered, as Zero clenched his hand. "Thats…"
"J-Jerimiah Gotwald…Japans Acting Counsel…" Kallen finished Zero's sentence as everybody kept their eyes glued to Jerimiah, who gave a sort of mock bow towards them before responding.
"I'm glad that my reputation precedes me, even to Elevens like yourself." Kallen could feel her hand tightening at the remark, her hand reaching for her gun but she was stopped by Jeremiah's words. "Any sudden movement and the girl gets it."
Jeremiah aimed the gun right at CC's head, causing everybody to stiffen as Kallen gritted her teeth.
Nobody said anything as seconds passed, and the silence was only interrupted by gunfire on the outside, as everybody instinctively turned to look at the door.
"Oh yes, you don't think I came here empty handed did you? Some of the best troops in the military, personally chosen by myself, are currently in the process of exterminating both of your pathetic groups as we speak. If you would rather die a quick and painless death and not suffer, you would be wise to surrender immediately."
Nobody said anything towards Jerimiah, none of them wanting to surrender as the atmosphere was still tense.
Finally taking the lead, Zero stepped forward "Q-1, you, Dragon and Kakashi are to head out immediately and counter the Britannian Forces."
"What…?"
"Don't worry, I was skeptical things would go smoothly, and I had plans prepared in case something like this happened. Everyone should be strategically located to counter any kind of attack, though the Samurai might be in more composing conditions. Focus on all Knightmare units first and then take out the ground troops."
Jeremiah gave a low laugh as he heard Zero issuing orders, cocking his gun as he mocked them. "Do you really think I'm going to let you out of this? Once I arrest you, the Emperor will have no choice but to name me Viceroy of Area Eleven permanently!"
Despite his words, Zero didn't seemed fazed as he mocked back. "A puppet serving as Viceroy? I guess it would fit your pathetic Empire quite well."
"Hmph, your words will not get you out of this, Zero-AGH!" As Jerimiah yelled, a sharp pain suddenly rushed through his leg as blood sprayed out of it. Looking down, he saw CC had stabbed him with some sort of sharp object, as his eyes went wide. "You bitch!"
Jeremiah went to finish her off, but before he could, Zero had suddenly jumped forward and shoulder tackled him and brought him to the floor, attempting to restrain him as Kallen called out.
"Zero!"
"Q-1! Hurry up and assist the ones outside!"
"But-"
"Thats an Order! Kakashi! Dragon! You are to also assist!"
"Understood!" Kakashi and Dragon saluted as they turned to run outside, Kallen watching Zero for a few more moments as him and Jerimiah continued to wrestle on the ground, before they flipped and rolled down the hall and out of sight.
Kallen stopped as she went to run after them when…
"Y-You have an order right? Don't disobey it!" CC looked up from the ground and spoke with seriousness as she glared at Kallen, who stopped and looked at her.
Finally understanding her role, she gulped as she gave a small nod and turned…
Running out to the battlefield with the others.
As soon as Kallen ran outside with Kakashi and Dragon, the sound of gun fire and yelling could be heard as the dockyard had turned into a battlefield, as bodies were already falling to the ground as corpses. One could immediately see casualties were coming from all three sides, though the Black Knights seemed like they were in the best shape out of them all so far.
Quickly covering her face back up with her hat and sunglasses, Kallen readied her gun as she began racing forward towards the other Black Knights, taking shots here and there as she made her way over.
As she ran through the mess, Kallens eyes fell on Ohgi who had his machine gun out as he fired at several of the footsoldiers, before ducking back under a crate he was using for cover. Ducking as she ran over towards him, Kallen took a few more shots at Britannia soldiers before she slid over the crate and landed beside of Ohgi.
Ohgi jumped and aimed his gun at Kallen as she landed, as she immediately raised her arms. "Whoa Whoah! It's me!"
"K-Kallen?" She nodded as she pushed herself up into a cover position behind the crate as she sat beside Ohgi, reloading her gun.
"Turned into a hellhole out here, didn't it?"
"You could say that, Britannians attacked out of nowhere! Sentrys saw them coming and got out the first shows, taking down quite a bit of them, but then their Knightmare units began to roll in and the sentrys had to retreat."
"What's the status of those Knightmares?"
"Even battle so far, which isn't good when you consider we have more Knightmare units on our side!"
"Damn!" Kallen bit her lip as she pushed herself up and shot at some Britannians close by before ducking for cover once again as she reloaded.
"We have extra units, the problem is they're located near the east port, and that's where most of the Britannians are coming from."
"What? We have more units?"
Ohgi nodded, standing up to fire just like Kallen did as he came back down and began to reload as well as he looked towards the East. "As I said, they're located over on the East Port. Zero had use place reserves there just in case, but to think Britannians would invade from that side…"
"What about the West Port?"
"Zero had a singular Knightmare placed in the West, I think he said he would offer it as a peace token to the Samurai if it came to that."
"The west…I-I could go get that and Help!"
"What?"
"You know I'm a good Knightmare Pilot! If I could make my way to the West Port and grab that Knightmare, I could clear a path to the East Port and push the Britannians back enough for the others to grab the other Knightmare Units and start a real pushback!"
"That's too dangerous! What if you get caught in the crossfire!?"
"Better than sitting here and waiting to die! Besides, Zero gave me orders to assist you all out here…And if I can get that Knightmare, I can do just that!"
"Kallen…" Ohgis words trailed off before he gave a sigh and reached inside of his jacket pocket as he pulled out some ammo and handed it to her. "Just in case you get low, only use it if you have to."
"I got it! Wish me luck!"
"Yeah, good luck! The Knightmare is located in Warehouse Four!" Giving a nod, Kallen turned towards the West as she eyed the West Port and after guessing when she had a lane, she made a mad dash towards it.
Bullets were flying through the air as corpses of mostly Britannians and Samurai littered the port, the Black Knights having the advantage of Zero's tactics, plus simply not having that many members currently. They didn't even have outfits designed for them yet, they simply wore all black to blend in with the night.
Kallen raised her gun as she ran, returning fire to nearby Britannians to protect herself as she ran low, jumping behind cover as much as she could as she got closer to the West Port. Smoke began to fill the air as well, weather that was from Knightmares being destroyed or something else was currently unknown.
As Kallen began to approach the West Port, she saw Warehouse Four on the edge of the port. Speeding up, she began to race to it the best she-
Boom
The ground suddenly shook as explosions suddenly went off just a few feet in front of her, knocking her backwards as she fell onto her backside. Fire began to rise up almost immediately, as the screaming of people in the flames was briefly heard before their lives were snuffed out.
Kallen quickly pushed herself back up, quickly realizing that the way to the West Port was now completely blocked off.
"D-Damn it…" Kallen wasn't sure why explosions suddenly went off here, but she didn't have time to think about it as bullets continued to fly out everywhere. Looking around, she was thinking quickly on what she could do about this…
Suddenly, her eyes landed on a ladder…A ladder that led directly to Warehouse Four! It was on the side of the port, the bottom of the ladder leading straight to the water below.
Kallen looked at it as she bit her lip, thinking how to get to it. She could swim, but all her equipment would be extremely dangerous. On the other hand, there were no boats around and time was running around.
"What to do-" Before she could finish her thinking, Kallen held her head suddenly as words flashed across her mind…
"Personally, I think you have a body that would make others jealous, I would be proud to show it off personally."
The words Lelouch had told her rang through her head, as she shook her head once again-
"Just be more proud of yourself is all I'm saying, it's nothing to be embarrassed over."
Nothing to be embarrassed over…Right…This was a battlefield after all….
Yeah, this was a battlefield and it was the only solution…
Her headache suddenly went away, removing her hand to reveal her eyes.
For a moment, Green geass rings could be seen around them, though they quickly vanished as she shook her head and raised her hands, slapping her face cheeks.
"Get a grip Kallen…I need to get to that warehouse!"
Suddenly finding an unknown resolve, Kallen went to work. First she disconnected her belt that had her weapons on it and dropped them to the ground, taking what what she could handle only.
Next she unhooked the belt from her pants and threw it to the side, while also taking off her shoes and socks as well.
Then she quickly unbuttoned her pants and allowed them to drop to the ground as she stepped out of them, as she also grabbed her shirt and quickly pulled it over her head, allowing her tits to somewhat bounce out, only hindered by her bra.
She threw her shirt on top of her pants as Kallen was down to nothing but her red laced bra and pinkish red panties.
Bending down, Kallen grabbed her gun and made sure it was ready as she went to the side and looked down at the water below. Taking a deep breath, Kallen prepared herself…
Before she jumped into the waves.
"Y-You have an order right? Don't disobey it!" CC looked up from the ground and spoke with seriousness as she glared at Kallen, who stopped and looked at her.
Finally understanding her role, she gulped as she gave a small nod and turned…
Running out to the battlefield with the others.
CC watched Kallen run out as the door halfway closed behind her, the sound of raging gunfire and the like being heard outside of the building. As soon as CC was sure Kallen was gone, she gave a sigh as she rolled to the side and out of view of the door, as she looked up.
Standing up and no longer wrestling one another, Zero and Jeremiah stood beside one another as Jeremiah looked down. "I hope the gunshot wound wasn't too much for you."
CC rolled her eyes as she pushed herself up, brushing her cloak off. "Hmph, it was an annoyance more than anything…I hope that little knife cut wasn't too much for you."
CC snarked back as Jeremiah had to hold in a smile as he shook his head. "I've suffered worse wounds in training."
Turning his attention away from CC and towards Zero, Jeremiah gave a bow.
"Your highness, I've done everything as you've ordered."
"Very good Jeremiah…Now come, we can talk on the top floor." Giving a nod, Jeremiah followed after Zero as CC also tagged along, interested to see what would happen next.
The trio walked through the bloody hallways as members of the Samurai were strewn about, all of them having been killed by Jeremiah and CC.
Of course, not a single Britannian corpse was present.
That was a simple lie, to cover up the fact Lelouch needed to kill these men so they didn't know about Kakashi's 'betrayal' and the like.
Finally they came upon a door that was cracked open as Zero pushed it fully open, revealing a meeting room of sorts behind it as they all walked in. Large sets of windows looking out to the port were covered by large blinds, though the sounds of the battle were evident.
Walking to the foot of the table, Zero pulled the chair out and sat down in it as Jeremiah sat down on one of the side chairs. CC made her way over to the windows, leaning against the wall next to them as she reached inside of her cloak and pulled out a pair of binoculars.
Zero reached up and grabbed his helmet, once again taking it off as he placed it on the table as he leaned back into the chair and crossed his arms. "Jeremiah, did you follow the plans I had sent you earlier?"
"Yes, your Highness! I gathered the requested troops, and had them attack from the East Port, holding two lines. The Knightmares and Armored Units are to hold the line to keep the Knightmares at bay, while the Foot Soldiers and Elites are to march forward and engage the Knights and Samurai in combat!"
"Very good, and the soldiers…?"
"All troops are from the Y and Z squadrons, which are not only our least trained troops…"
"But are also led by Kewell Soresi, correct?"
Yes, Kewell Soresi, the man Lelouch had dubbed Purple during Suzakus 'rescue' and all. After such embarrassment, he was to rot in the cells of Britannia…But after Lelouch was told of the plans by Sayokos relating to the Samurai, Lelouch had a new idea.
It was simple, really.
The Samurai would be unlikely to do anything more than accept the Knights into their ranks, let alone form an alliance or even give Zero a high ranking leadership position. They were a small group, and while Zero was making headlines, that was hardly all he needed.
So he needed a plan, a plan to unite not only the Samurai led by Kakashi, and the knights under Zero…But also make Zero out to be a hero in a way. By the combined effort of both the Samurai and the Knights, they would beat back Britannian soldiers who found out of their meeting, and Kakashi and Kallen would claim that Zero personally fought off Jeremiah Gottwald, the acting counsel of Area Eleven by himself.
It was a solid plan, but they needed something else…
A scapegoat.
Afterall, trained Britannian soldiers losing to resistance groups would not go down well, and if Jeremiah had that stain on him? He would be demoted or worse.
No they needed somebody else, somebody who would risk it all…
Somebody who's life was in shambles anyway.
Enter Kewell Soresi.
In just a short couple days, he had not only been dishonorably discharged from the military, but thrown into prison for treason and made a mockery of.
His life was effectively over, and who knows what would happen to his sister as well…Being associated with somebody who dishonored the Empire would have repercussions beyond her control after all.
Taking all these factors into account, it made convincing him to lead this mission rather easy.
Afterall, how hard could it be? Jeremiah offered him a relatively easy mission afterall…Take Britannian troops(Albeit the least trained ones) and snuff out a meeting between resistance groups, with the chance to even catch the man who killed Prince Clovis and shamed him in the first place.
Kewell could redeem his reputation and reenter the military.
Jeremiah would be praised for not only finding out about the whereabouts of the assassin, but also for making use of a man who had nothing to lose.
While Elevens across the country would be broken as their hero would flicker out as fast as he was lit.
Obviously of course, the chances of Kewell winning this battle were next to Zero.
The plans he had been provided by Jeremiah were crafted by Lelouch himself, and all centered around the false assumption that the East Port was the only thing of value on the battlefield. The West Port had a singular Knightmare frame in it, but that would be of no issue, even if one of the Resistance Members acquired it.
…Unless of course, that Resistance member was a prodigy in the world of Knightmares.
Yes, Lelouch's Plan A was simple…Have Kallen go after the Knightmare, and use it to smash through the East Ports defenses. Her skills were far beyond Y and Z knightmare pilots, even this early on afterall. Once the defenses were destroyed, Resistance members would charge in and acquire the Knightmares stored away and use them to eliminate the rest of the Britannian army.
It was an easy Plan, and one that had an extra layer to it…
Of course Lelouch had Plans B, C, D, and so on in case Kallen didn't get to the Knightmare, or geass forbid she was killed. After so many lives, he was prepared for anything and nothing would ever stun him or catch him off guard.
Mostly, of course.
Once Lelouch said the name, Jeremiah gave a nod as he crossed his arms. "He agreed to the plan as soon as I mentioned it, and the General seemed to like it as well…Either he knocks out some Resistance members, or he gets killed and nothing of value was lost. The only thing I stand to lose is some political capital, but it's nothing I can't recover."
"Agreed, no matter the results, you'll come out looking like a capable leader to some extent. Quickly scouting out the Prince Killer Zero, and sending a walking corpse to deal with him so as not to risk losing someone of importance is a tactful decision. You may be scrutinized some after he fails, but your intent will land you in the good graces of your incoming Viceroy."
"Princess Cornelia?"
Lelouch nodded, giving a small chuckle as he closed his eyes and pictured his purple hair sister in his mind. "Her main goal once she arrives will be to track me down and kill me, all to get revenge for Clovis. The fact you have already been working on that should allow you to get close to her, and perhaps even land a permanent role in the government."
"Hm, can't you use your magical eye to transfer her to your side, Your Highness?"
"I could yes, but it's not optimal to mind control every single person in this world. I'll use it on select targets, and then use those targets to control larger populations. It would be wiser for you to focus on the government side of things while I continue to lead those puppet resistance forces. Besides…For my ultimate plan, using my eyes on the less females the better."
"Less females…?" Jeremiah cocked his head, not really understanding what Lelouch meant though he didn't press the issue.
As the duo sat at the long table, CC had raised the binoculars in her hands and was peering out the side of the windows, before she lowered them and spoke. "Kallen is approaching the West Port."
"Oh? So she took the bait did she? Splendid." Reaching inside of his coat pocket, Lelouch pulled out a small button as Jeremiah looked at it.
"Your Highness, that is…?"
"A button to one set of explosives I've rigged."
"One set?"
"I've rigged quite a few, just in case…This one specifically is for the second part of Plan A." Pressing down on the button, it only took a second before the building shook as several explosives went off at once, cutting off the path to West Port as CC shielded her eyes for a moment before returning to the binoculars. "There, West Port is now cut off…That likely killed more Samurai members than Britannians, but they're needed casualties and besides, we can say Kewell went off the plans and set up explosives himself, which caused his downfall in the end."
Lelouch placed the button back into one of his pockets, before pulling out another button.
"This is the button to the explosives I've placed around East Port, though I only intend to use this in the event something goes wrong with Kallen. Speaking of, what's her update CC?"
CC looked over at Lelouch, and simply motioned for him. Lelouch didn't have any reaction to this as he pushed himself up and walked over towards her, grabbing the Binoculars from her and looking down.
Quickly he noticed Kallen was stripping, and soon she was down to nothing but her bra and panties and a gun, and after a moment she jumped off the port and into the water below.
Giving a small laugh, Lelouch handed the binoculars back to CC as he made his way back over to the chair. "Excellent, Plan A is going as well as I could have hoped so far. Now, we just need things to go smoothly as she acquires the Knightmare and rushes over to East Port. Jeremiah, are there any troops in West Port that could get in her way?"
"Unless Kewell disobeyed the plans, then no and so far everything seems to be going according to plan. Of course, I did have Viletta stationed close by if you needed her…"
"She would be a part of Plan B, but it looks like we won't be needing her this time. I'll rework that plan for the next battle, as it should have even more impact then."
"I see, I understand Your Highness." Lelouch nodded, looking back at CC.
"Status?"
"She's acquired the Knightmare and is crushing the Britannian resistance now, quickly making her way over to East Port."
"Well then, I supposed we should play our part as well." Pushing himself up, which Jeremiah followed suit, Lelouch grabbed his mask and placed it on his face.
"Escape via the underground exit that leads to the sewers, I'll head outside once Kewell is dead and inform them of how you've been defeated and the battle is won."
"Yes, Your Highness!" Jeremiah saluted towards Lelouch as he turned and rushed out the door, as Lelouch turned towards CC.
"Let's go, this battle should be over soon." CC gave a simple nod to Lelouch, following him out of the room and back into the bloody hallways, as they made their way back towards the main port.
All his life, he only lived by three words….
All Hail Britannia!
Those were the words that Commander Kewell lives by.
So when he was not only publicly embarrassed on Live Tv, but stripped of his rank and sentenced to life imprisonment for treason?
His life might as well be over at that point. He had brought disgrace to his family and country, and there would be no way to make amends for that. He was fully ready for the Emperor himself to issue his execution, after he was somehow….Tricked….For lack of a better word, by the masked man who had killed a Prince of the Empire.
Kewell still didn't remember how it happened, he remembered the word purple and that was it…But why? Why did he blank out? When he came to, the scene was a madhouse as he was being restrained by Britannia soldiers and the Masked Man Zero was nowhere to be found.
Before he knew it, he was stripped and beaten by soldiers, found guilty while lying unconscious on the floor, and sentenced to execution. In the meantime, he would be held in an Eleven Jail, not even having the honor of dying in his own country.
He thought his life was over.
However, just a couple days after the incident, his old friend Jeremiah came to him with a proposal, one to potentially redeem himself.
Jeremiah claimed to have intel on a secret meeting between the resistance force "Blood of the Samurai" and the Masked Man Zero. The meeting would occur that night at one of the ports, and Kewells job would be to launch an attack on the port and kill everybody present, especially Zero.
The only catch would be that he'd have to prove himself by leading the least trained units of the Britannia army into battle, and the plans he would follow would be created by somebody else.
It was an insult to someone like Kewell to propose such a plan…But Kewell himself had committed an even bigger insult, so he had no room to object.
Thanks to Intel Jeremiah had heard, Zeros group had placed several Knightmares in the East port in anticipation of the Samurai not agreeing to terms. So to cut off those units from the others, Kewells forces would cut through the initial defense and claim the East Port as their own. It was simple enough, and so far the plan was a smashing success.
Although he lost more soldiers than he wanted to admit when the invasion happened, his army was able to push back the first line of defense and capture the Eastern Port, setting up two separate military Lines. A defense line that would hold the Eastern Port, and an attack line that would push to the West Port and wipe out any and all Resistance Members.
Kewell himself had intended to push forward with the attackers, but the surprising number of active Knightmare units by the resistance stalled him as he had to stay back and help fight them off.
Despite their numbers, it was obvious the Resistance members didn't have Britannian training when it came to piloting Knightmares and so for every Knightmare that Kewell lost, they took out two more Resistance Knightmares in the process.
The battle had been long, as Knightmares and bodies lined the entire port but slowly they had withered down the Resistance numbers. Only a few enemy Knightmares remained, and Kewell was confident that one they were defeated, he could begin the advance to wipe out the remaining Resistance foot soldiers.
As Kewell finished off another Knightmare, his radio began to go off as one of his units contacted him. "Commander Kewell sir! Enemy Knightmare approaching from the West!"
"What? How many?"
"Just one sir!"
"Tch…" For a moment, Kewell was worried that they had Knightmares that the intel had missed, but it seemed it was only a singular unit on a suicide mission so it wasn't anything to worry about.
Sure enough, his radar screen came up shortly to show a Knightmare approaching at high rates of speed. It seemed to also be taking out foot soldiers with ease as well as it approached them, so perhaps the pilot was more capable than the ones Kewell had the pleasure of cutting down so far.
Kewell went to turn his attention to the approaching Knightmare…Only for it take out one of his own men with ease that had tried to block it, as they didn't stand a chance as they ejected quickly from the Knightmare.
Only for the approaching Knightmare to raise their gun and shoot the ejected pilot out of the sky without losing a step.
Slightly impressed by the pilot's nimbleness, Kewell readied himself as he looked over the knightmare in question.
"Hm…Appears to be that knock off the Liberation Front and Samurai use, I believe it's called a Burai. Tch, they can rip off Britannia all they want, but they will never match our perfection!"
Kewell roared to himself as he charged forward, pulling back and launching an attack towards the Burai, which used it's quick movements to dodge and fire a missile attack towards Kewell.
Rearing back, Kewell dodged the missiles as they flew past him and hit against the ground, exploding parts of the ground to reveal the infrastructure underneath as more cracks formed around it.
Ignoring the terrain damage, Kewell charged up once again as he threw towards the Burai.
"Ashley! Bradon! Cover my flanks and make sure it doesn't dodge!" Kewell called out to two people in his unit as the two in question appeared near him as they charged towards the Burai, intending to cut off it's only escape.
However, the Burai seemed unfazed as it charged towards them, acting like it was going to launch its own head on attack as well.
The two sides continued at high rates of speeds at one another, ready to strike any moment.
Before suddenly, at the last second, the Burai suddenly jumped into the air and flew over the three of them. "What!?"
Kewell called out as the Burai flipped over, opening its launcher once again and firing at the two Knightmares on Kewells flanks. The missiles were a direct hit to both of them, blowing both of them up and instantly killing the pilots inside as Kewell quickly turned around, a bit rattled by the sudden display of the opponent, Kewell quickly collected himself.
"Tch, these are trainees, of course they would struggle against a competent opponent." Kewell attempted to give reasoning to his opponents strengths, his mind not even processing the possibility that his opponent, almost assuredly an Eleven, could be on the same level as Britannian soldiers.
Turning to face the Burai as it landed and skated across the ground, firing more missles at Kewell as he once again dodged as they hit against the ground once again, exposing more of the infrastructure as more cracks appeared.
However, as soon as he dodged, another Knightmare that belonged to the Resistance attempted to get the jump on Kewell and take him out. Immediately noticing it's lack of skill however compared to the Burai, Kewell dodged it's attack and slashed open the top of it as he barely missed killing the pilot outright.
Immediately ejecting himself from the Knightmare, he flew into the sky as the Burai looked at him and cried out.
"Toru!" The static voice of the Burai was female, which to a degree surprised Kewell as he was starting to somewhat suspect that Zero was the pilot he was facing off against. Still, he couldn't be distracted.
Raising his gun, Kewell took aim at the ejected pilot and pulled the trigger, bullets flying out as they quickly tore the pilot of the defeated Knightmare to shreds.
"No!" The Burai called out once again in agony, before it suddenly took a more aggressive approach as it rushed towards Kewell at high rates of speed, perhaps even somehow faster than before as it fired more Missiles at Kewell, who once again dodged them and allowed them to hit the ground,
Using it's speed, the Burai raised its gun and fired at Kewell as he dodged, and though he couldn't dodge out of the way of them, he was able to guard somewhat though his Knightmare was slightly pierced.
Landing back in control, Kewell once again went to his radio. "Mark, Kelly, Ted and Paul! Square formation! Angie, Jake and Wilson, Triangle Formation out of the Square!"
Issuing more orders to his dwindling forces, the Knightmares in question formed a square around the Burai, before the other three formed a triangle around the square.
"Take Aim and fire! Make sure she can't escape!" The other Knightmares did as they were told, all taking aim at the Burai and after a moment, opening fire on it.
Bending its knees, the Burai jumped high into the air to dodge, as Kewell called out again.
"Triangle formation! Aim and fire!"
The three Knightmares of the Triangle also aimed high and began firing, which the Burai simply had to defend against as it began to fall.
"Now! Square Unit, Missiles at the ready!" The square formation readied their missiles, waiting for the order from Kewell to attack. "Aim and-"
Before Kewell could get the words out however, the Burai suddenly opened its own launcher and fired straight down on where it was set to land, hitting against the ground and causing the ground to shake, messing up the aim of the Knightmares.
"Tch, don't let tricks stop you! Aim and-Whoah!" Once again Kewell attempted to issue the command, but suddenly the ground shook once again and the location where the Burai was set to land suddenly completely collapsed in, as the seven knightmares around it swallowed it as they were suddenly stuck in the debris of the ground. With the seven Knightmares momentarily stopped, the Burai readjusted itself and took aim once again, this time with its turrets.
Using it's surprising flexibility, it began to spin and turn rapid firing at all seven Knightmares as quickly pierced their armor, and thanks to its precision as well, almost assuredly struck the pilots inside as Kewell could hear brief screaming over the radio before it went silent.
"S-Square Formation! R-Respond! T-Triangle Formation! Respond also!" Kewell had no responses, as the Burai landed in the middle of the collapsed ground, looking directly at him.
Suddenly feeling his heart rate increase, Kewell had to suck in a breath as sweat appeared on his face…Was this…Fear? Was he afraid?
Afraid…Of an Eleven!?
No…No that can't be! His mind was playing tricks on him!
"Y-You….You filthy Eleven!" Screaming at the top of his lungs, Kewell went to his last resort. Taking out his one and only one in his arsenal.
A Chaos Mine.
It had destructive powers, and would usually only be used in certain situations.
But he had no choice here, he had to take down this pilot…Whoever they were, they were too dangerous to be left alive!'
Steering himself of his convictions, he activated the mine and threw it towards the Burai, simply needing it to be in the area of the explosion.
The mine flew through the air, and Kewell was certain that no matter what the Burai did, it wouldn't be able to guard against such a thing…
Unless of course…
Activating it's hyper drive, the Burai suddenly got a boost of speed as it rushed forward, using more battery power as it dove straight for the mine. For a moment, Kewell thought the pilot was admitting defeat and wished to get their death out of the way.
However, that dream quickly turned into a nightmare as the Burai pulled out it's sword, and with careful precision…Aimed it in such a way that it hit against the mine and sent it near Kewell himself.
Panic setting in, Kewell backed up quickly as he began to yell into his radio. "Alicia! Welkin! Guard me! Please!"
He pleaded as two other Knightmares attempted to come to his rescue but it was too late as the mine hit directly against the chest of Kewells knightmare, detonating immediately.
The light flashed blue for a moment, as Kewell thought about everything. From being humiliated to now this…
To lose to an Eleven…
How could he….How could he lose…
To an Eleven!?
With his radio still turned on as the light went off and the explosion happened, Kewell could only say…
"M-Marika-"
Those were his last words before his life was extinguished for the final time.
The explosion could be seen by everybody else as Kewells knightmare and ones surrounding it were completely destroyed, as Knights and Samurai alike eyed the East Port. Ohgi shot some more Britannian soldiers as he came out from his cover, looking over as he yelled into his radio.
"The East Port is clear! Move out and grab the Knightmare Frames!" The Knights yelled in unison, though most the Samurai were confused, they began to follow after the Knights as well as they began pushing back on Britannia.
Ohgi kept his gun raised as he continued to push back on the Britannian resistance, many of their soldiers retreating back to the Port, or even from the battlefield in general after they saw their Commander perish.
As Ohgi and the others pushed forward and came upon the Eastern Port, they saw the true destruction that had happened as most of the port had collapsed, fire raging on in several places as Knightmare units and bodies were strewn about.
As more Britannians were killed or retreated, Ohgi looked around as he saw the Knightmare frame from the West Port, standing over other destroyed Knightmares as he called out. "Kallen!"
Rushing over to her frame, it looked up from the ground and towards him as the outward radio was turned on. "Ohgi…"
Arriving at the foot of her Knightmare, Ohgi could tell something was wrong from the sound of her voice as the rest of the Knights and Samurai successfully pushed the rest of the Britnians out either through death or retreat.
After a moment, the cockpit to the Knightmare opened to reveal Kallen, her hair still soaking wet as she was still only in her bra and panties as she jumped down to the ground, causing Ohgi to raise an eyebrow and blush a little. "U-Uh Kallen, why are you…"
"O-Ohgi…" Kallen looked up, tears in her eyes as she wiped them off. "T-Toru was…"
She choked up for a moment, as Ohgi went wide eyed in return before she finished.
"W-Was killed in battle…" She got the words fully out, choking up some as she swallowed.
"Toru…" Ohgi looked down towards the ground, closing his eyes and shaking his head…It wasn't the first comrade he lost, but it was never easy, especially for one of the founding members of his group.
Still, in situations like this, he had to be strong. Taking a step towards Kallen, he placed a hand on her bare shoulder and gave a strong squeeze.
"I know it's hard, but we have to be strong. We knew the risks, all of us, and he died a hero's death."
Kallen gave a low nod, reaching up and wiping her eyes off as she gave a long sigh. "Y-Yeah…I-I know…"
Ohgi nodded as he looked out to the other members, the ones still alive were injured, and corpses were strewn all about. In his heart, he had to admit he was thankful that most of the corpses belonged to the Samurai. Britannians also littered the streets, but it seemed the Samurai had suffered the most.
Still, it seemed like a victory.
Kallen also knew in her heart that this was a victory, and though she was the one who lead that victory, she also knew Zero was responsible as well. If he hadn't tackled the most power man in Japan, then this could have been even worse.
Speaking of…
"H-Hey, where's Zero?"
"Hm?" Ohgi looked towards her, a cautious look on his face as he shook his head. "I-I don't know, I've not seen him since the fighting."
"H-He could still be fighting Jeremiah! W-We have to help him if that's the case!" Running past Ohgi on her bare feet, he reached out for her as he followed.
"Kallen wait! You don't have any armor-"
Boom!
Before he could finish, the ground shook one last time as everybody was knocked to their feet almost as the building that Kallen was running to, the one with Zero in it…
Suddenly it exploded into a tornado of flames.
Pieces of debris rained down from the sky, as a cloud of smoke quickly formed overheard and covered the sky. Kallen looked on in disbelief, pushing herself up as she called. "Zero!"
Kallen began to run again towards the building as her feet plopped against the ground, inching closer to walking on the burning debris and corpses that laid about.
Why was she suddenly so worried for Zero?
Was it because of Toru's death?
Was it because of the fact he saved her twice now?
Was it because of what he said to her?
What was it?
She was so confused, and her body just kept running towards the burning building as she called out one final time. "Zero!"
Tripping over a rock, she stumbled as she almost fell to the ground, being caught by Ohgi before she hit the deck as he yelled. "Kallen! It's too dangerous!"
"B-But what if he's stuck!?"
"Then…Then…"
"Then what!?"
Ohgi felt his throat catch, no words coming out…What would he say? What could he say? Nothing would-
"Hmph, a Leader needs to find a good lie, even in the darkest of times." Suddenly a familiar voice rang out over the radio, as Ohgi and Kallen both went wide eyed as Ohgi quickly grabbed it and spoke.
"Z-Zero, are you-"
"Right in front of you."
Looking up, Kallen and Ohgi stared directly at the flames, nothing but death and destruction in front of them as other Knights and even a few Samurai gathered around as they heard the radio.
After a few moments however, a cloaked figure emerged from the flames, his black mask reflecting the red flames around him as Kallen stood up straight with Ohgis help as she muttered. "Z-Zero…"
It took a moment before Zero came into full view, but the image was everlasting when he did.
Walking out of the flames, the red burning brightly against his mask was the Hero Zero. His black suit had rips and cuts, blood stains accompanying it, as soot and ash stained other parts. Yet he walked with the same confidence as before, nothing stopping him.
That wasn't all.
Laid in his arms was CC, being carried bridal style as blood dripped off her head and arms, burn marks accompanying her face as her outfit was also stained. She appeared to be unconscious, as her eyes were shut and she was unmoving in Zeros arms.
Nobody said anything as Zero approached them with CC in his arms, they simply parted to the sides as Zero approached Tamaki. "CC is in need of medical attention from a gunshot, stabs and burns…She should be fine, but make sure she is treated well."
Tamaki swallowed hard as Zero placed CC into his arms, the heat from the flames still radiating off of her as he gave a nod. "Y-You got it boss."
Once he made sure CC was safely in his arms, Tamaki turned and headed towards a few of the Knights that he knew had some medical experience.
Once she was taken away safely, Zero turned his attention back to Ohgi and Kallen. "Ohgi, status report on the enemy?"
"H-Huh? O-Oh right." Ohgi coughed into his hand and began to explain. "All Britannian troops appear to have either been killed or retreated, with the commanding Knightmare being destroyed. We took a few casualties as well, including…Toru Yoshida."
"Toru? I see, my condolences to both of you." Zero said in a sympathetic tone as Ohgi gave a low nod and continued.
"The Samurai also seemed to have lost a ton of units as well, they might have suffered the most casualties."
"I see…And the killer of the Britannian commander?"
"That would be Kallen." Ohgi looked towards her as she looked up at him, before she looked back at Zero.
"Q-1, you successfully killed the commanding officer and broke through their front lines?"
"Y-Yeah…The East Port was taken, so I…Went to the West Port and took the singular Knightmare you had placed there, using it to break their defenses."
"I see, good work. You've earned yourself high marks in my book for your bravery." Kallen gave a small smile and nod towards him, as he kept his glare on her. "Perhaps the lack of attire assisted in more fluid movements?"
Kallen cocked her head at him, before looking down and blushing. "A-Ah yeah, um…"
"It's fine, nothing wrong with the look, either in casual or knightmare use. Wear whatever you want, or nothing at all." Zero stressed the words to her, as she looked up at him and blushed before she gave another nod.
"R-Right yea…"
"Now then-"
"Hold on there Zero!" Suddenly one of the Knights from the crowd emerged and pointed at him. "Where were you during this entire thing? While we were out here busting our asses off, you were hidden away in that building before you came out holding the green haired girl in your arms! What were you doing, fucking around?"
The Knight seemed annoyed, as several others nodded with the same question on their mind.
"Z-Zero helped us escape!" Kallen suddenly shouted out towards them as she balled her hands. "He tackled a Britannian and allowed us to escape unharmed!"
"Oh yeah, who was this Britannian huh?" The Knight looked at Zero, who seemed unconcerned as he replied.
"Acting Consul of Japan, Jeremiah Gottwald."
"W-What…?" Everybody was taken aback by his words, as they looked around wide eyed. "T-Thats…"
"The truth." Suddenly another voice rang up as Kakashi, marks and injuries on him though he seemed otherwise fine, walked out. "Jeremiah Gottwald injured CC and threatened to kill her if we didn't comply, however as soon as he saw an opening, Zero shoulder tackled him and engaged him in combat, allowing us to escape."
"I-Is that true Kakashi?" One of the Samurai looked at him and spoke, as he gave a simple head nod.
"Yes, Dragon can confirm this." Kakashi looked over at Dragon, who's mask had been half cut off as they replied.
"Yes, everything Kakashi has said is true."
Everybody seemed taken aback, both Knights and Samurai. Perhaps Kallen had a reason to lie to protect their new leader, but Kakashi and Dragon? Nobody had any reason to suspect them of spreading misinformation.
"W-Well…Where is Jeremiah now?" The Samurai looked over at Zero as everybody turned their attention to him.
"During combat, we both got good licks on one another as we applied several wounds, as you can see from my suit. At some point however, he was notified that the commander had been killed. Once he learned of this, he attacked CC once again to knock her out, before lighting an explosive in the building. I had the option of either giving chase or rescuing CC, and obviously I will prioritize the health of my soldiers above all."
Everybody was speechless as they stared at Zero, especially Kallen and Ohgi. Realizing no other questions were coming his way, Zero continued.
"For now, we should escape the area and rendezvous at another time. Britannia could very well be sending reinforcements, and we simply don't have the men to contend with that for right now. Kakashi, I will contact you via my informant to set up our next contact, perhaps your leader will be welcoming of a meeting after you tell him of this battle that unified our troops?"
"I would think that is a very good chance of happening." Zero nodded, as he looked at all of the Knights.
"Very well, for now we retreat to Base Camp Alpha! Everybody begin preparations and be there within the next two hours!"
"S-Sir!" The group called out as Zero began to walk away, everybody stealing looks towards him as any sly remarks or roll of the eye about him was gone.
He was not only a miracle worker now.
He was a certified badass to many.
Especially for Kallen Kozuki , who could only watch him walk away in awe as the fire raged on, illuminating the night sky.
As soon as Zero was away from the Ports, he immediately began making his way to the Base Camp Alpha that he had mentioned. In reality it was nothing special, an old unused bunker in the woods that was left over from the old Japanese Government. It was completely empty, and since Zero had only established it earlier that day, only basic stuff had been moved into it.
Making his way through the woods on foot, Lelouch paid no attention to the sounds of animals that were around him. He feared almost nothing at this point, and had enough run-ins with animals to know how to deal with them.
He took the direct path to the base so he could be the first to arrive, intending to make his way to a room that he had dubbed his office.
After walking for close to an hour, Lelouch arrived at the entrance of the bunker as he reached down and scuffled the dirt out of the way to reveal the keypad. Inputting the code into it, the door to the bunker began to open in the ground as lelouch quickly covered the pad back up with dirt, as he hopped into the hole and slid down the ladder.
It was a relatively quick ride to the bottom as Zeros' feet hit against the ground, reverberating through the iron fortress underneath the ground as he turned around and walked into the main entrance way.
Immediately he saw a couple of Black Knights had already made their way back, though nobody of true importance. Walking a few feet into the room, a few turned their heads as they suddenly called out.
"A-Ah Sir Zero!" The others immediately turned and faced Zero as one of the girls had called out towards him. Everybody simply looked at him in awe, the image of him emerging from the flames burned into their memory. Not wanting to waste any time, Zero turned towards the girl who called out as he questioned her.
"Has CC returned yet?"
"H-Huh? O-Oh no…Not yet…"
"I see, when she does return, have her moved to the room we designated as a medical bay and have anybody with medical knowledge attend to her. Also inform me, as I'll be staying in my office."
"U-Understood sir!" She gave a salute to Zero who replied with a nod as he turned and began walking once again, nobody allowing themselves to move as he walked by, their breaths only escaping their mouths once Zero had fully walked away.
The girl he had spoken too was no different as a sigh escaped her mouth, as she rubbed her head as one of the guys walked over towards her. "I-I'm surprised you could talk to him, I was left speechless."
She looked over at him and nodded with a worried look. "I-I barely did…Oh that was terrifying."
The guy nodded in approval as the girl shook her head and went back to work.
However, unknowing to them, Zero had come to a stop and leaned against the wall beside of the room, arms crossed as he listened in on them, flicking his tongue in confusion.
"Interesting, not only did she survive Shinjuku, but she wasn't caught either for betraying the government…Was it because of the Collective Unconscious?"
Zero tried to think, but he had no answers as he shook his head and pushed himself off of the wall as he continued to his office.
"Very interesting…For the first time in a long while, I'm stumped. I applaud you…Miss Seras Victoria."
Zero said to himself as he continued walking, his mind getting a light chuckle from the unpredictable event.
Opening his door and walking into his makeshift office, Zero walked over to the small chess table he had placed inside and sat down. Nothing else was present in the room, so for now this was his desk.
Reaching inside of his cloak, he pulled out several documents and placed them on the small table as he began to look over them.
"Now then, first off…"
The Blood of the Samurai Files.
Lelouch wasn't joking when he said he had done his research on not only them, but the various Military officers that were in their ranks. Across his many lives, he had done extensive research on them, especially in the lives where he never became Zero and instead joined the Samurai.
The Samurai had a direct file and rank system, meaning the chain of command was a singular chain that diverted into the differing branches of their army and personnel.
The highest ranked member and leader of the group was called "Samuraimasutā", which in literal terms meant "Samurai Master." They were often called by their title and not their real names, even in private settings Lelouch had learned.
Assuming nothing else in the world had changed, the current Samuraimasutā was a woman by the name of Naruko Uzumaki, the former Field marshal of the Japanese Military. She was the second ever Samuraimasutā, after her predecessor, the former Grand Marshall of the Japanese Military Minato Namikaze was killed in battle.
The Second ranked Member of the Resistance was Hiruzen Sarutobi, the former Grand Marshall of the Japanese Military who was Minato's predecessor. Though he was initially thought the logical answer to not only being the first Samuraimasutā, but also the second, he turned down the offer both times, intending to let younger people serve as he thought the Samuraimasutā would one day become the new Prime Minister once Japan was liberated.
Next up were the Seven Samurai, known as the Shichibukai, who each were in charge over different parts of the Operation.
First there was the Randosamurai, Kakashi Hatake, who was the leader of all field units which included foot soldiers and Knightmare pilots. Of course, the Samurai had only a couple of Knightmares to operate anyway, many of them being non functional or in need of repairs.
Kakashi was of course the person Zero had geassed, and also the friend of Sayaoko who had got this entire thing started to begin with.
Kakashi also had two guards with him at all times, one of those guards being the Dragon girl that Zero had also geassed.
Second was the Kaiji, Mei Terumī, former Colonel of the Japanese Military. She was the leader of all Sea units such as ships like battle brigades and smuggler ships, underwater troops, submarines and Sea Mines.
Third was the Easamurai, Asuma Sarutobi, son of Hiruzen and former Airforce Captain of the Japanese Military. He was the leader of all Air Units such as plans, helicopters, jets and hot air balloons used for scouting.
Fourth was the Chōhō, Gaara, who was leader of the Japanese Military's Spy Network. His role was much the same for the Samurai, as he had his people conduct Espionage, spy on certain people or places, infiltrate Britannian agencies and even other resistance groups, and even conduct assassinations.
Fifth was the Medikarusamurai, Tsunade Senju, who was the head doctor of the Japanese Military's Medical Ward. She was the head doctor and researcher of medicine for the Samurai, as well as being the one who signed off on surgeries. With their limited supplies, not many could be performed, so she had to carefully pick who would be operated on and who wouldn't.
Sixth was the Samurai no kunren, Mifune, who was a drill instructor of the Japanese Military. He was in charge of training new recruits, while also keeping the others in shape and up to date with their training.
Seventh was the Samurai kenkyū-in, Orochimaru, who had no connection to the Japanese Military but quickly worked his way up the ladder. Orochimaru was the head of Research and Development of the Samurai, often developing new weaponry or Knightmare parts.
Zero gave a laugh as he pulled out Orochimaru's paperwork, he was certainly the most interesting of the bunch…And also a cautionary tale to any resistant group who didn't have control of their members.
Afterall, it's not like his sister Corneilia just Knew Where the Samurais base was located at.
No she had intel…
Or rather…
A snake at her side.
Giving one more chuckle, Zero placed the document down as he organized them all together, placing them into one folder and setting them to the side. Taking over the Samurai would be relatively easy, but ensuring loyalty from those seven would be key.
Geass was always the answer of course, but he was curious if die hard rebels such as them could also be broken by the Collective Unconscious so easily? It was worth a test afterall…
Or maybe he simply wanted to have fun?
You get bored after dying so many times.
But anyway…
Zero cracked his knuckles as he went to pull out the next document when-
Knock Knock
"You may enter." Zero gave the response without looking up as the girl from earlier, Seras Victoria, walked in and bowed.
"Sir Zero, CC has been brought here and is still unconscious. We've sent her to the medical ward and gave her a futon, and some of our doctors are tending to her now."
"Very good, I shall head to see her immediately."
"Sir." Seras bowed and went to leave, but…
"Before you go, I have a question for you."
"H-Huh? Yes…?" Seras stopped in her tracks and looked over at Zero, who crossed his arms as he stared back.
"Your name is Seras Victoria, correct?"
"...Y-Yes sir…"
"And you're also Britannian, correct?"
A cold air swept in the room For Seras, despite the fact they were underground, as she nodded and swallowed hard.
"Y-Yes…" She seemed worried what that response would entail for her, yet Zero simply chuckled at her.
"No need to be scared, I have nothing against people who are Britannian by blood. I have problems with people who are Britannian by their system."
"S-System sir?"
"Yes…Whether you are Britannian, Japanese, Chinese, Korean or so on…Your blood determines nothing but your nationality. However, the system you live by determines your true character. I am fighting against the Britannia Empire because they are corrupt scum who wish to rule this world for selfish reasons, and that wouldn't change if they were somebody else. Whether it was the Chinese Federation, the Australian Kingdom, The EU, the Kingdoms of Africa, or even Japan itself…Anybody with vile and cruel intentions to rule this world are my enemy…Afterall…I simply wish for a peaceful world for all."
Seras gave a slow nod towards him, still shaking some as she responded.
"That's…A very heroic way to view things Sir Zero."
"Hmph, heroic to you, but villainous to the Empire." Zero gave another laugh as he pushed himself up and nodded to Seras. "You are dismissed, return to what you were doing."
"U-Understood sir!" Seras saluted and turned to leave.
"Oh and one last thing…I don't recommend returning to the government, I get the feeling this battle we were just in exposed your true identity and you will be killed on sight. It's not like you have family to return to anyway, correct?"
Seras stopped and turned, looking at Zero as she gave one final nod. "Yes sir…You're not wrong…T-Thank you for the advice."
Seras fully closed the door this time as she left, her heart beating out of her chest as she leaned against the door and whispered to herself.
"So heroic…But really scary as well…"
Back on the inside, Zero gave one last chuckle as he prepared to leave and visit CC.
"Yes, your family is no longer alive, Seras, and I know exactly who killed them. Perhaps I can use that to break her down even more."
Zero said to himself once again, as he departed for the Medical Ward.
It didn't take long for Zero to arrive at the made up medical war as a few people ran back and forth, as CC wasn't the only one injured in the battle. As people saw him approach, they began to move back some and allow him through as Lelouch walked into the medical ward.
Inside of the medical ward, Futons had been spread out all over the place as injured people had been laid in some of them, as the few knights with medical knowledge were attending to them. There were more patients than doctors, but they were doing a surprisingly good job of attending to all of them in a timely manner, though the most serious of injuries would need further examination afterwards.
Zero quickly noticed that CC was in the back of the ward, where a doctor was attending to her as he laid a wet rag on her head. Walking over towards them, Zero questioned the doctor. "How's her condition?"
"Ah sir Zero…Hm well, she still appears to be unconscious, but her other injuries thankfully don't seem to be as serious as initially thought. We've wiped the blood off of her body, though it will take some washing to get it out of her clothes."
"Can you not undress her now and wash her clothes? Leaving bloody clothes on could infect any wounds she might have."
"The problem is we don't have any spare clothes on hand to dress her with, and her lying nude could cause a cold or something to form."
"Undress her and wash her clothes, and cover her up with a few blankets, it shouldn't take long to have them washed. Use the nearby creek above and then start a fire in the kitchen area and have them dry in there."
"That's…Well, alright I guess."
"Not just her, but the others as well, male or female. Bacteria is not something we can afford to deal with right now, and that is the honest truth."
"R-Right…Yes…Your right, we only have basic medicine, we can't risk anything…I'll grab one of the girls and-"
"Can you not undress her yourself?"
"E-Eh? But-"
"You're doing this for medical purposes correct? Unless you intend to rape her and tear her clothes off, I don't see what the problem is."
"R-Right…"
The doctor looked down at CC and let a sigh escape his mouth as he pulled back the blanket on her as he began looking over her body, finding a zipper on her shorts that he began to pull down. Zero had to hide a chuckle as it looked like CC gave a scowl, though quickly hid it to keep up the act of being unconscious.
Looking out to the rest of the medical ward, Zero raised his hand and spoke. "All doctors and nurses! Any patients, both male and female, who have bloody clothes must have them removed and washed to get rid of any bacteria! Please assist them with undressing, and use the spare blankets to keep them warm in the mean time."
Everybody looked over at Zero and then at each other in confusion and doubt, a few red faces popping up here and there.
One of the Knights who had been injured and had blood covering her shirt spoke up. "H-Hey wait a minute! I don't want to get naked!"
"Which would you prefer? A few people seeing human anatomy, or dying from an infection?"
"Thats…"
"Stop acting like children, everybody in this room has seen human bodies before, no need to act embarrassed over having parts exposed. Especially when it comes to situations like this." The girl went to protest, but closed her mouth as a green ring flashed in her eyes before departing as she sighed.
"W-Well…Fine…" The girl didn't seem thrilled, but did as she told as she pulled off her shirt rather quickly as if to get it over with and exposed her bare chest. She had no bra on, so her perky C cup breasts were in full view of everybody, yet she made no attempt to hide them as she threw the shirt to a nearby doctor as she crossed her arms.
Other people in the room began to do the same thing, both men and women, as breasts, dicks and vaginas were exposed on different people. Some made attempts to quickly hide under the covers, while others didn't seem to care.
Zero made no remarks as he watched the doctors collect the various clothes, before he turned around to look at CC.
The doctor tending to her pulled off the last piece of clothing before laying her down to the ground, as Zero scanned across her body.
Her pink nipples fully exposed as they sat upon her bouncy and bigger than one might think D cup breasts, the left one exposing her scar, that were attached to her slim body. Her arms were slick and smooth, and looked like they belonged to a queen of some sort. Her pussy lips would give a perfect cameltoe in tight outfits, as they hide the entranceway to her womb, as a green patch of pubic hair adorned it. Her thighs were not too big and not too small, perfectly complimenting her ass and silky smooth legs that extended down and connected to her small but feisty feet.
It was a sight that Zero had seen many times by this point, and not once did he ever tire of it.
After a few moments, all of the clothes had been collected, as Lelouch turned and faced the others again.
"Very good, take a couple guards with you and immediately report if anything goes bad." They nodded as a few of the nurses left with the clothes on hand, passing by two familiar faces who walked to the room. "Ah, glad to see you two made it back alive."
Zero spoke to Ohgi and Kallen, the latter who had retrieved her old clothes and redressed, who entered into the room as they looked around at the makeshift ward.
Although Ohgi seemed caught off guard by the amount of nudity, Kallen seemed to not be that fazed by it, as she turned and slowly walked over to Zero. "Zero, everybody who was at the port should have returned by now."
"Very good, did you see any Britannians following you?" Kallen swung her head back and forth, causing Zero to give a slow nod at her. In truth, he was more so curious about if any Samurai had followed, though asking that could raise suspicions about the fake backstory he told her.
No matter, he wasn't worried if they were followed, it wasn't anything he hadn't countered in the past.
Turning his attention to Ohgi, who was still looking around the room in confusion, Zero wasted no time in asking more questions towards him. "Ohgi, how does morale seem to the others?"
"H-Huh? Oh um…" Ohgi scratched the back of his head, the events of the day seeming almost overwhelming before he collected himself and nodded. "There definitely appears to be some concern when it comes to the amount of loss, even if most of it was on the Samurai side, but overall morale seems positive. Obviously with such small numbers, it's easy for the news of what you did to spread…"
"Hmph, I did nothing that was so extravagant, it was a total team victory on all sides." Zero raised his voice so everybody in the room could hear him, with a few giving nods and others small smiles. "For the time being, we will use this as a base of operations and allow the injured to heal. I intend to set up a meeting with the Samurai, using our victory against Britannia as a reason for us to meet once again."
Ohgi nodded at him as he looked past Zero and at CC on the floor, her nude body being covered by a blanket by the doctor. He didn't have much to say in all honesty, but he was curious about this girl Zero had suddenly brought in hours before the mission. She seemed useless enough to get Zero caught up with Jeremiah, but was that…?
Before those thoughts could consume him however, Zero stepped forward and passed him and Kallen. "Hm, going somewhere?"
"I have other business to attend to, if you need me I'll be in my office." Zero said without turning his head around as he continued on, as Ohgi raised an eyebrow.
"Office?"
"Yeah, Zero set up an office before we left for the mission." Kallen explained. "Apparently…"
Kallen began to explain the office to Ohgi, who simply listened to her as the two remained still in the makeshift medical ward.
Arriving back at his makeshift office, Zero locked the door as he walked back over to his chessboard desk and sat back down, reaching down as he pulled the next document out from his bag that he had meant to look over earlier.
Inside of the document was several makeshift plans he had written up during his small amount of freetime, many of them being past plans he had used in past lives. Quickly flipping through them, he arrived at his latest plan he jolted down as he reached and pulled a pen out of his cloak to begin marking.
The plan was simple…
Operation Resistance.
A plan to absorb every single resistance group in Japan into not only the Black Knights.
But also the Britannian army as a whole.
Afterall, Zero wasn't planning on staying on this little island to enjoy himself, even after it was taken over. No, his plans were much grander.
Take over Japan as Zero and merge with Britannia thanks to the Special Zone.
Give the Zero identity to a close ally to have them rule Britannia.
Depart for the Chinese Federation and begin a new uprising, taking out the High Eunuchs and installing Tianzi as a puppet for Britannia.
Assume the throne of Britannia.
Launch the final assaults on the Australian Kingdom, Europia Union, and African colonies.
It was a simple enough plan by design, and one he had technically done before.
Though obviously, the circumstances this time were much different.
First things first though…Capture the other Resistance groups of Japan.
He had already started on the Samurai, and soon he would move onto both the Japan Liberation Front, and the Kyoto groups as well.
Kyoto especially was important, as Kaguya would be instrumental to making Zeros reign of Japan legitimate.
However, two other groups also posed a problem.
In other timelines, the two groups would both be wiped out before he could blink, but the fact Seras Victoria was alive meant that changing the Collective Unconscious had effects that not even he had predicted.
Because of that, it would be wise to do his due diligence.
He had very low little information on either group, but he had enough to know their names and their leaders.
The first was the 'Japanese Freedom Movement' or JFM for short, a group composed of several members of the opposition party to Japan's last Prime Minister. They were led by a woman by the name of Himiko Toga, the daughter of the opposition's party leader. Her father was killed by his own daughter, which she used to take out loyalists and take the movement for herself…Long story short, there was a reason it didn't last long in the other timelines.
The second was the 'International Bloodlines Organization' which as the name implies was a group from foreign soil. They were from the English Theocracy and had been sent to Japan in an attempt to form a puppet government that would aid the English against Britannia, though in most timelines were driven out before they could even get started.
They were led by a man who used only a fake name and never was confirmed killed in any of the other timelines, a man in a red coat who went by the name of Alucard, double welding guns and acting as a one man army of sorts in battles.
Both of these groups were interesting for different reasons, but the plan was to focus on the JFM since they were native to the land, and then focus on taking out the English group.
Marking down some notes on his documents, Zero closed them back up and placed them in his bag.
Pushing himself up from his chess table, he walked over to the corner of the room as he untied the cloak from around him and placed it onto the ground, as he knelt down and fell backwards on it, placing his arms behind his head.
He was at the very least mentally drained from today, so he was open to getting some sleep, even on the concrete floor.
Closing his eyes behind his mask, it didn't take long for the world of dreams to overtake him.
…
….
…
..
Zero had been asleep for roughly a few hours when his eyes slowly opened, as the sound of a creaking door was enough for him to push himself upward and look forward, any trace of defense from a sudden assassin vanishing as he saw the intruder.
What had awoke him was the sound of his door closing, as he saw the nude body of a green haired girl walk in and over towards him, before looking down at the masked man.
Neither of them said anything for a moment, as Zero studied the look on her face. She seemed agitated as he might suspect, but also a bit of…Humor? She was hard to read at points, even after hundreds to thousands of years with her.
Finally letting a sigh escaped his tired lips, he spoke. "Shouldn't you be laying in the medical ward? Might be suspicious if a green witch is walking around naked after being injured."
"Hmph, if you seriously expect me to play dead all day, you would be mistaken."
"Yes yes, always the impatient one CC."
CC narrowed her eyes as she walked over and sat down on the wall next to Zero, not even bothering to hide her nude body as she looked at him. "That was quite the bold move in the ward, what if you had a sudden revolt and you were ousted as the leader?"
"I don't believe it would have gone that far, but even I can admit that I was expecting some pushback. In all honesty, I likely would have had pushback if it wasn't for our little stunt at the battle. Thanks to that entrance in front of everybody, I believe their trust and confidence in me went up faster than it usually does in my lifetimes."
"That could very well be why…Or it could be because of your mastery of Geass, that you manipulated the collective unconscious to such a degree that it's rapidly declining…Or…"
"Or? I don't like cliffhangers."
"Or…Another geass user is speeding up the process, manipulating people to aid you for some reason…Or hinder you if they have an overarching plan."
"Hmph, I doubt that since nobody should know that I am both the masked man Zero…" He said as he reached up and grabbed his mask and pulled it off. "And the future Emperor of Britannia, Lelouch Vi Britannia. Not to mention my school identity of Lelouch Lamperouge."
"Hm yes, I suppose so. Although that brings me to a question of mine, how long are you going to keep up with the Lamperouge name? You can't stay at Ashford forever to ensure it stays its little corrupt self."
"That's easy, Milly will take over and make sure the operation runs smoothly. I already have plans in place of making her the school's headmaster once she graduates, as by that point her grandfather will have no more use to me."
"Hm…What about Japan? You intend to take it over no?"
"Suzaku will inherit the mantle of Zero, since he's proven he can pull it off."
"Chinese federation?"
"Tianzi can run it as a puppet state no problem, all it will require is having her marry one of my siblings."
"Britannia as a whole?"
"Heh, now that's for me to keep." Lelouch chuckled, as he crossed his arms and looked at the witch beside him. "What's the point of asking all these questions, already freeting I'm not up to the task?"
"I'm more interested in how you're going to keep this entertaining, that's all. You've impressed me so far, but you still have a ways to go."
"Well strap in, cause the rides just getting started." Lelouch chuckled at the stupid joke, before he looked back across the room at the door. "Picked the lock eh?"
"Most of them are asleep, with only the night guard standing watch, so it was easy."
"And the ward?"
"Doctor on duty passed out in his chair, seems like everybodys tired after today."
"Not surprising, it wasn't exactly easy." CC nodded as the two sat by each other in silence, the only sound being a mouse that had made its way inside of the bunker.
After a few minutes of neither speaking to one another, CC decided to inject life into it. "When are you heading back? I much rather sleep in a bed than on this ground."
"I was planning on it as soon as the sun rose, I have new plans in place in regards to Nunnally."
"Oh? Are you going to claim her innocence before another can?" CC attempted to tease, yet Lelouch had it roll off of him rather easily.
"I intend to tell her of my plans to take the Britannia throne for myself, and my role as the mask rebel Zero. I will inform her that I killed Clovis, and intend to do the same to Cornelia once she arrives…Of course, that later part isn't exactly true, but it would get the message across. Plus, it will add even more to me in her eyes after I…Convert….Cornelia to my side instead of killing her."
"What of the event she betrays you? Her eyes are closed, it's not like you can geass her."
"Well, I have other plans…But in the worst case scenario." Lelouch formed a gun with his fingers and pressed them against his head. "I always have a reset button."
"..." CC didn't say anything else on the matter, believing him after everything that had happened so far.
"With that, I am going back to sleep until the morning sun comes. I ask you to return to the ward before unneeded questions are asked."
"Tch, of course your majesty." CC said in the most sarcastic tone she could muster, as she pushed herself up and walked forward as Lelouch made sure to eye her backside the entire time. She was quite appealing to look at, so might as well take advantage of it.
Once she had left, Lelouch grabbed his mask and placed it upon his head once again, as he drifted back off to the world of dreams.
True to his word, as soon as the morning sun came, Lelouch left the underground bunker and made his way back to the dorm in which he lived. CC was left behind to maintain the illusion of her injuries, though he would need her for later.
Arriving back at his dorm, Lelouch had folded the Zero outfit up and placed it in his bag. He had learned his lesson about leaving that stuff out, lest he wanted another cat to grab it.
Arriving back at the dorm, he pushed the doors opened and walked inside as he yelled out. "I'm home!"
After a few seconds, he heard the sound of a wheelchair as Nunnally entered, giving a smile as Sayaoko was right behind her. "Ah, welcome home!"
Lelouch smiled as Nunnally called out for him, walking over to her as he reached down and grabbed her hands.
"You didn't come home last night…Sayoko said you had a meeting? What was it about?"
"Ah well…It's a little hard to explain, but let's just say I'm trying to build a better future for the both of us."
"Huh?" Nunnally tilted her head in confusion, but didn't get to question him before Lelouch pushed himself back up.
"In any case, I do have something I want to talk to you about…" Lelouch looked up and nodded at Sayoko, who seemed to understand as she nodded back.
"Talk to me?" Nunnally said as she felt her wheelchair grabbed and began to move. "Where are we going?"
"Nunnally…What I'm about to tell you is something very important that nobody, not even the Student Council can know…Alright? So, we need to head to the bedroom real quick."
"Oh um…Alright?" Nunnally was confused as ever, but she trusted her brother as she was wheeled into her bedroom as Lelouch followed, closing the door and locking it as he looked over to Sayoko.
"Is the coast clear?"
"Yes, I searched over everything before you arrived, Your Highness." The words caught Nunnally's ear immediately as she spoke.
"Y-Your Highness…?"
"Nunnally." Lelouch knelt down in front of her. "What's my name?"
"Huh?"
"My name, what is it?"
"It's…Lelouch?"
"No…My full name."
"Lelouch Lamperouge?" Lelouch gave a chuckle as he reached over and ruffled her hair, as she stayed utterly confused.
"My name is Lelouch Vi Britannia." The name made her gasp, yet Lelouch didn't stop. "Prince of the Britannia Empire…And also the One Hundredth Emperor."
"L-Lelouch…?" Nunnally was shell shocked to hear Lelouch say such a thing, they had agreed to never say those names again, so why-
"That's not all…" Lelouch interjected again. "I also go by another name."
"...?"
"..." Reaching inside of his bag, Lelouch pulled out the Zero mask as he held it up, setting it into Nunnally's hands as she felt it.
"Whats…This?"
"...The mask of Zero…The rebel who killed Clovis."
"Z-Zero….L-Lelouch you-!"
"I am Zero, the Masked Assailant who killed our brother."
Nunnally gasped even harder this time, dropping the Zero mask to the ground as it hit with a thunk and rolled to the side. If she could go wide eyed, she would right now.
She was at a loss for words, nothing he was saying made sense.
Lelouch knew this, so he kept up as lead speaker.
"If you choose to hate me, and want to cast me out of this household, I will not blame you! But, please believe me when I say that I killed Clovis for the greater good of this Empire. Japan was on the brink of ruin, racism and hate crimes were on the rise, and there was no end in sight. Taking out Clovis was the only option I had."
Nunnally just listened to Lelouch in shock, not knowing what to exactly say at this revelation. On one hand, her brother just admitted to murder another one of her brothers, albeit one she wasn't close with. But on the other hand, she knew her brother had a point, she knew that Japan was going through hell and back.
Yet using murder? Calling yourself a terrorist?
She couldn't support that.
Yet she loved her brother…
So what-
"If you can't answer…" Lelouch interrupted her thought pattern, gently walking over and placing a hand on her shoulder. "Then I ask you to give me time to convince you, and if you deem me morally unjustifiable…Then allow me to exit with grace, instead of turning me over to the authorities. I will leave you alone for the rest of my life, I promise you."
"..." For a moment, Nunnaly was silent, Lelouch and Sayako watching her with bated breath. Finally, however, she looked up at Lelouch, a heavy sigh escaping her lips. "I…Can't support you, Lelouch…"
"..."
"But…I don't want you to leave me either so…Whatever you do, leave me out of it but…Please continue to be my brother." Nunannly reached up and grabbed Lelouch's hand, grasping it between her two soft hands, a soft nod emitting from Lelouch.
"Of course, as you wish."Lelouch gave a mock bow towards Nunnally, a small smile gracing his lips. While looking at her, Lelouch knew that she wouldn't throw him to the wolves, she never had before so he doubted that would start in this timeline.
Still…
"The chances she ever supports the Black Knights is null so…I need research on Jeremiah's geass Canceler to start, and start soon!"
