Chapter 20
You're mom and I couldn't agree on a nursery theme so we ended up combining what we loved the most. It's colorful. Safe. Full of stuff animals. Toys. You're grandma Karen gifted the both of you her sign from the cafe.
Brooke had been looking into and thinking alot about labor and delivery.
Which has been leading me to wonder and process what my role is going to be. I know that i want to be Brooke's main support during labor and especially delivery.
Brooke has been debating whether to go drug free or not. She's looked into experiences of both and still hadn't decided.
We decided together after the birth. We want our loved ones to meet the babies but once we're home we don't really want visitors for some time. We want to try and figure out the babies on our own.

"I need a day off. The babies are making me so tired." Brooke announced. When she awoke to find Lucas dressed and ready to go to the office.
"You should take the next few days off. This is expected at this stage. Especially with twins." Lucas suggested.
"I'll think about it." Brooke replied.
"You take it easy. Sleep. But have breakfast. I'll come by for lunch at 3." Lucas said. Leaning over to kiss her gently.
"I'm craving French toast with bacon. and scrambled eggs with cheese. We want a BLT with a large order of fries and a coffeecake muffin. It smelled so good. When you got it last time." Brooke announced.
"Am i being to demanding or nagging.?" Brooke asked.
"I've waiting for the day that i could wait on you hand and foot."
"You rest up and stay comfortable. Babies be good for mommy." Lucas said. Leaning over to kiss her belly.
"We love you." Brooke said. As she felt herself start to fall asleep again.
Lucas had yet to ask Brooke if she wanted him in the delivery room. They hadn't really discussed it in depth yet. He thought to himself as he drove to work.
