Conner watched as the waves gently washed onto the beach. He heard a soft snore from beside him and looked over to see that Wolf had curled up and fallen asleep.
"Guess he was tired huh?"
The teen tensed at the new voice before taking a soundless deep breath and grunted at the newcomer.
"You'd think after a year I'd have gotten used to not hearing your footsteps…" he thought out loud.
His friend chuckled, "Yeah it weirds the Bat family out too, I think I could even go as far as to say that I spook them."
The raven haired teen sat down next to Conner as the latter rolled his eyes at the joke.
"So, how'd it go?" He asked after the teen settled.
The other sighed, "About as well as you could expect."
"So J'onn was able to help?" The clone stated more than asked.
Danny winced. "I don't think I would've accepted help from anyone else to be honest. But, yeah, he was able to help. Apparently that telepath guy had left a phycological bruise and that's why I kept seeing or hearing things. He said he was able to repair the damage but the trauma was still there and I'd have to work through it."
He grunted. "At least you wont be freezing us half to death for the rest of the month."
"Yeah…"
The clone raised an eyebrow. "Is something else on your mind?"
"…Batman was there," his friend answered solemnly.
Conner narrowed his eyebrows. "Why?"
Danny shrugged. "He wanted me to report what all I saw and heard before Psimon took my mind for a spin. But what bothered me about the whole thing was he didn't seem to care too much about the fact that I was attacked by the crazed up fruitloop that somehow knew my name-"
"Wait what? You never mentioned that." Conner interrupted.
The half-ghost raised an eyebrow at him. "Because Kaldur wanted to make a retreat and Psimon blocked me off the mindlink before I could say anything."
After a second, he grunted and allowed the other to continue.
"Anyways, I was more upset about the fact that batman cared more that my name was somehow discovered and the notebook I had found. He didn't really care about the people that may or may not have made it out of that ship when I used my ghostly wail when I was taken down by Psimon and the other kid."
"Other kid?"
"Yeah, the guy with the cat. Didn't Artemis tell you guys?"
"No, she didn't. But it sounds like you bumped into the Witch Boy."
Danny shrugged. "I did mention him briefly to her and Gar. Psimon called him Klarion, I think."
"Yeah that's him. He's called Klarion the Witch Boy, his cat is a familiar that keeps him anchored to this dimension or something."
"Anchored?"
"Yeah, something about him being a Lord of Chaos or something."
"Lord of-?" Danny's eyes widened before he facepalmed. "Of course they would be here, Fenton."
Conner's eyes furrowed again. "You know who the Lords of Chaos are?"
Danny sighed defeatedly, "Yes and no, in theory I know what they are. We can thank Clockwork and the Festival of Peace for that one."
"Then how did you not know about Klarion?" the clone asked as he turned towards the other teen.
"Again, in theory. I only know about the Lords of Order and the Lords of Chaos because of a chance meeting and a mission with Doctor Fate, courtesy of Clockwork."
"You did mention that once… what was the mission?"
Danny shrugged. "Eh, some guy got a hold of a time traveling equipment and started screwing around with ancient artifacts and objects from the past. He was trying to get rich or something, I don't really remember, all I remember is it was causing time rifts. After clockwork saw what was happening, he tasked me to go with golden bucket head to intercept the guy in Salem. Took us a couple days but we got the guy and the artifacts were given to fate to restore the balance or whatever."
"Uh, noted…" Conner commented.
"So, what's the plan now?" he continued.
Danny gave an exasperated sigh. "Now… Batman wants me to check in with Zatanna to make sure Klarion didn't cast any weird hexes or spells."
He raised an eyebrow at the halfa. "Then why are you out here?"
The other shrugged. "I told him I'd take five."
Conner smirked and looked at him incredulously, "You told the batman, to give you five?"
Danny sent a smirk of his own. "Technically, I'm cutting it close to ten right now."
There was a brief silence and the two started laughing.
Wolf woke up and groaned in complaint before standing up and shaking out his fur.
Danny sighed in defeat, "And that's our cue… Come on, let's get inside before batman decides to hang us by our feet in a cave or something."
"…He does actually have a Batcave you know that right?"
"He has a what?!"
…..
Salem, Massachusetts
June 17 16:49 EDT
The peaceful humming of the ship's engine quieted as the landing gear retracted from the bottom of the ship. With a soft jerk, the Bioship landed in a what seemed to be a wide-open field.
"Uh… are we sure this is the place? Cause I'm just saying, this is the opposite of inconspicuous," Danny stated while crossing his arms.
Zatanna and Danny watched as Conner, Kaldur, M'gann, Wally, and Artemis slowly made their way off the camouflaged ship, dressed in their civvies.
"So why are we here again?"
"Well, Wally, if we don't want Danny to freeze us again, we need to make sure the Klarion didn't leave any kind of lingering spells or hexes on him," Zatanna retorted matter-of-factly before turning towards the halfa in question. "As for your question, little brother, the Tower is hidden by magic, only using a key will reveal it."
The teen in question grumbled about devil-horned hair brats and vampiric fruit loops under his breath as he and the others followed Zatanna towards the open field.
"Yeah well we still have to find the key hole first, Kaldur just got lucky last time," Wally huffed as he crossed his arms.
Danny sighed as he mentally prepared himself for the skeptics lecture.
The halfa wasn't the closest with the protégé of Flash, but he did consider him a friend. Shortly after the meeting a year ago, the speedster didn't miss a beat to start asking questions not only about the half-ghost, but the science behind everything as well.
Even after a year, the guy still couldn't believe, fully, that ghosts exist. So lectures about what was scientifically 'sound' or 'proven', were not out of the ordinary for Wally. Danny would go as far as to say that it was a part of the Team's everyday life. Well, that or the prank wars the speedster would try to start with the halfa every so often.
"Actually, Wally, it was more than chance, it was-"
"'A test of fate'. Yeah, yeah, I remember," the speedster grumbled, interrupting their Atlantean leader.
Zatanna pulled a small golden key out of her pocket and mimed putting it into a door and turned it.
Like a mirage, a single large castle-like tower appeared towering over them (no pun intended). With dark gray, brown, and almost black stone, the Tower of Fate wasn't the prettiest, but it was interesting to look at. Especially since there was an absence of windows and doors.
Danny couldn't help the awed smile he had. "I keep forgetting how cool magic is…"
He heard Zatanna chuckle while she opened the old wooden door, the rusty hinges creaking loudly as the door slowly opened to reveal a staircase.
"Huh, door needs some oil," Danny commented off-handedly as he and the others walked through the door frame.
The small Team looked around curiously as the door closed automatically behind them and disappeared. They found themselves in what looked to be an endless hallway with gothic arched windows letting in yellow ominous light.
"This looks different than from the last time we were here. Where's the lava pit Wally almost got us fried with?" Artemis asked with an accusing tone.
"Hey! Not like you were any better!" the speedster whined.
Danny rolled his eyes as they proceeded down the hall, the two bickering back and forth.
This was a common occurrence while being on the Team as well. Artemis and Wally acting like an old married couple and bickering until someone or something stopped them. But… he didn't really mind though… it was kind of nostalgic for him.
His attention cut back to Zatanna as she hummed in thought. "I'm not sure, it's always brought me here every time I've opened it. Maybe it's because the Tower recognizes me?"
"Oh, so you've been here before?" M'gann gently asked.
The space between them became quiet, confusing the halfa greatly, but he elected not to ask until later. Whatever it was seemed to put everybody off and he didn't want to make the situation more difficult.
The blackness, that the Team believed to be endless, started to shift block by block as they revealed a secret room. The room had purple walls and a renaissance-like rug decorating the floor. In the center of the back wall was a fireplace, above it hung a painting of Zatanna and a man who Danny assumed could've been her father. Wooden and golden table stands and drawers filled the room, as well as red couches and other types of furniture. The lighting came from glowing yellow-orange lamps similar to torches on the walls, and a humungous golden chandelier, also decorated with yellow-orange lamps.
The wall closed back up, brick by brick behind them, causing the Team to stand in silent awe.
Danny looked back over to the painting and the puzzle pieces started to fall together.
'Oh… that's why-'
SHINK!
A golden cage dropped around Danny from out of nowhere, causing the entire Team to jump, and some to shriek in fright.
After taking a few calming breaths, the teen reached out to touch the bars, only to be shocked with green and blue electricity. He quickly withdrew his hand, hugging it close to his chest as he glared at the bars.
"And then there's times like these that I really hate magic," Danny growled out.
A hologram of a Caucasian male with blue eyes and grayed hair appeared in the center of the room. He wore a black suit and tie over a white, collared shirt and had a walking stick at his side.
"Welcome back, Zatanna. You have entered the Tower of Fate with a key but the Tower has detected an ectoplasmic signature. Please identify."
The half-ghost teen couldn't help the small frown as he thought about what to say.
"Danny Fenton?" He answered cautiously.
"Incorrect-" Green and blue electricity lit up the cage as it shocked the half-ghost briefly.
"Hey!"
"Stop it!"
"Let him go!"
The electricity stopped and the hologram glitched. "Please Identify."
"Danny Phantom," the teen tried again.
"Incorrect."
Again, electricity surged throughout the cage, this time forcing him to his knees as he cried out in pain.
"Stop! He's a friend!"
"Let him go!"
Unaffected by the Team's words, the hologram glitched again. "Please Identify-"
"Danny, are you okay?!" Conner's voice echoed.
The halfa winced but nodded as he slowly got back onto his feet.
He cleared his throat and did his best impression of how Dora's subjects would usually announce him.
"Sir Daniel James Fenton-Phantom of the Infinite Realms, Knight of Aragon and apprentice to Clockwork the Ghost Master of Time!"
He shot a glance at the picture of Zatanna and her father before continuing.
"I'm here to seek Nabu, also known as Doctor Fate! Alongside me are former visitors of the Tower of Fate, who can testify and confirm my identity!"
The room went silent. Danny didn't dare look away from the hologram's stare, even as he felt the Team's eyes on him.
It was probably some of the longest 15 seconds of his life before the hologram finally glitched and smiled at him.
Like a mirage, the cage rippled and faded away, allowing the halfa to let out a breath of relief.
"Welcome Danny, it's been awhile. Please, try not to be so hard on Nabu and make sure to tell Clockwork that he's always welcome to visit as well. As for everyone else; welcome back, old friends of Fate."
Danny's eyes softened as he finally recognized the voice and face. He smiled nostalgically at the hologram, "Thanks… Take care of yourself, Kent."
The hologram smiled sadly, "Miss you too, kiddo. Have a nice trip." The hologram disappeared as a bronze-golden elevator door appeared next to the fireplace.
There was another brief moment of silence before the Team climbed into the brown and golden elevator as Zatanna pushed the top floor button on the elevator.
Danny smiled to himself as he remembered his kind and humorous friend, Kent Nelson. He had met him during the mission Clockwork had sent him on with Doctor Fate. Kent had taken off the helmet when they needed to don disguises and was pleasantly surprised that the person underneath the helmet, or possessed in his case, wasn't a jerk like Nabu.
Kent took the time to explain the helmet and even more about himself. The halfa came to call the man a friend during and after the mission and was more willing to work with Doctor Fate in a later mission, if Nelson was in charge most of the time. A few months ago, he had gotten the news from one of Kid Flash's stories that he had passed away. He remembered that he had asked if he could have the next day off, which Nightwing and Batman permitted, so Danny could visit his grave and pay his respects.
The elevator ride was peaceful until Wally decided that his voice needed to be heard. "Okay, first thing's first, why couldn't you just reverse the spell or de-spell him or something?"
The halfa watched as Zatanna sighed as she turned to look at the speedster.
"Because, Wally, I don't have the amount of experience to dispel all enchantments that Klarion can cast."
"What spell was cast? You nor Danny have quite explained anything beyond needing to come see Doctor Fate," Kaldur inquired, attempting to spare everyone from Wally's skepticism.
Zatanna and Danny shared a look, the latter giving her a shrug as to say, 'you're the one with magic, I don't really know this stuff'.
The magician sighed as she turned to the small group. "As far as I can tell, no spell was cast. But that doesn't mean that one wasn't cast or there may be a lingering one I can't detect. Doctor Fate has more experience with the Lords of Chaos magic and would be able to provide a more thorough check."
"Okay, but why put a spell on him when they were just trying to knock him out?" Wally asked with crossed arms.
"We don't know that for sure, but that's all we have right now. The only thing we could think of that would answer that is that maybe even they didn't know what would happen. Batman said that could be the reason Psimon and Klarion were taken off-guard when Danny was able to attack them and even ended up using one of his most powerful attacks."
Artemis rubbed her temples. "Great, more questions to add to the list of information to find."
"Okay fine, he needs a check up from the Doc. But now for my second question-"
Everyone groaned in exasperation.
'I swear if he keeps opening his big mouth, I'm going to go to the GZ, find Klemper, and sick him on Wally,' Danny thought as his eyebrow twitched.
"What the heck was all that?!" Wally exclaimed as he put his hands on his hips and narrowed his eyes at the half-ghost.
There was a beat of silence as the raven-haired teen blinked in shock.
"Huh? Me?" he asked gesturing towards himself.
"Yes, you! What was all that back there? Knight? Apprentice?! Ring any bells?!" Wally narrowed his eyes while crossing his arms.
The eyes of the team were back on him as he stood there with a furrowed brow.
"You mean what I told the hologram? I already-"
Danny's eyes widened to the size of saucers.
'Oh no…'
"Uh huh, what do you have to say for yourself, Sir Daniel?"
This isn't good, he thought to himself. He had completely forgotten that he was told not to reveal his status in the Ghost Zone until he was told to!
Well technically Clockwork's exact words were not to disclose-
'Oh crap, Clockwork…'
"Clockwork is going to kill me…" he muttered under his breath as he facepalmed.
"What why?"
DING!
'Saved by the bell…' Danny quietly sighed in relief.
The elevator doors opened to the rooftop where a large golden bell was hung.
Standing in front of the bell with arms crossed in front of his chest, was Doctor Fate.
The teen facepalmed. '…and thrown right back into the fire.'
A golden helmet covered the entirety of the sorcerer's head, excluding the ears, and shined brightly in the moonlit night. A long, high collared cape, fastened with two large buttons, flowed in the gentle wind. He wore a blue shirt with a golden oval centered on his chest. He also donned a large golden belt with a circle in the center, and deep blue pants with golden boots.
"Well if it isn't the halfa abomination…"
Shock? Surprise? Worry? Whatever it was that Conner felt, he wasn't expecting one of the most powerful leaguers to be immediately hostile towards his friend.
The teen narrowed his eyes at the sorcerer. "Now wait just a minute-"
"And if it isn't the old doctor without an actual degree."
His eyes widened and turned to see Danny smirking with his arms crossed.
The sorcerer's irritation rang throughout the rooftop. "As much as I've missed your poor wit and sarcasm, Daniel, I'm assuming you are here for a reason?"
The teen opened his mouth, probably to defend his witty banter, when Zatanna took a step forward and nervously cleared her throat. "Hello… Doctor Fate. We are in need of magical assistance."
Conner looked between his friend and the golden hero, and could've probably cut the amount of tension in the air with a knife.
Doctor Fate's eyes narrowed, "I'm assuming it has something to do with the faint chaos magic I sense around the boy?"
"How did you know it was chaos magic?"
"Because even though you reek of enough chaos to level Salem, only that particular kind of magic would make your putrid aura look like a firefly compared to it."
The clone took a step in front of Danny as his "scary eyes" flared up.
"And only the sun would compare to your massive ego," the halfa challenged with a snarl.
"Danny. Enough," Conner grunted with a weary, but stern look.
He didn't need his friend getting into any more trouble today…
The halfa's green eyes turned back to blue as he looked away from the sorcerer with an almost comical pout. Fate narrowed his eyes at the teen, before turning his attention to Zatanna.
The female magician stood up straighter as her confidence grew. "Phantom had a run in with Klarion the Witch Boy during a previous mission. He was attacked by Psimon and Klarion, we assume they may have been trying to render him unconscious, but they failed and he was able to thwart off their attack. But not before Psimon shot a tranquilizer at him and psychologically attacked him. He'd been experiencing hallucinations for most of the morning. After consoling Martian Manhunter, he was able to heal Phantom's mind, to an extent. However, we want to ensure that Klarion has not left any hidden hexes or spells that could harm him or us in the future. I do not have the experience to identify some of the more complicated spells Klarion may have cast. As such, the Team and Justice League has asked us to bring Phantom here, in hopes that you would assist us."
The sorcerer made eye contact with Danny before looking back at the rest of the Team.
"I will assist, if only because the boy is an apprentice to a close friend of the Lords of Order, not because the League asked me. Do you have any other information about how it could've been cast, how long he had to cast it, or for what purpose it could've been cast?"
Conner rolled his eyes as he was actually starting to see why Danny disliked the guy.
Zatanna nodded as both she and Kaldur began to explain. Meanwhile, Conner walked over to strike up a conversation with Danny as they waited.
The halfa seemed calm with his arms crossed at first glance, but Conner had known the teen long enough to notice the small things.
His stance was a hidden defensive stance, as though he were ready to fly away or put a shield at a moment's notice. His blue eyes were slightly brighter than normal, meaning he was anxious or on edge, and if you couldn't tell by that, it was the several degrees cooler temperature around him that gave it away. Lastly, it was his smile, or therefore lack of. When he was being witty or sarcastic, he always had a faint smile, but there was not one in sight.
"How are you holding up?" The clone asked as he stood beside him.
The other teen raised an eyebrow before shrugging. "Like I just walked into a room with a jock that needs to compensate for something."
The clone had to stop himself from rolling his eyes at the other teen's attempt to cover his uncomfortability with humor.
"So, what's with you and Fate?" he grunted quietly.
Danny grimaced before talking just low enough for just the two of them to hear as they both watched the Team.
"We didn't have the greatest first impressions. He showed up at Clockwork's Tower needing help with that time-rift fiasco in Salem, but it had been so long since he had last seen Clockwork that he didn't realize that some things had changed. One of the main things being that Clocky couldn't interfere."
"And because he couldn't go-"
"He sent me, yeah. But when we were introduced to each other, Fate was livid. Apparently the Lords of Order, according to Fate, believe I'm an abomination-"
"But why?"
"I'm getting to that. They believe that because I'm a half-ghost, I walk between life and death, and because of that, I have defied the natural order of the universe and am seen as an abomination to both the Lords of Order and the Lords of Chaos."
The older hero frowned. "That's not fair-"
"But that's what they believe… Anyways, I got defensive saying that they were jumping to conclusions, that he was egotistic, and that I had yet to prove myself. To which he had said something along the lines of 'you'll never be able to prove yourself, because that it's simply your nature, you shouldn't even exist', and that's when Clockwork jumped in and basically banged our heads together and told us to knock it off." The halfa shrugged. "In the end, we just tolerate each other because of Clockwork."
Conner grunted and was silent as he began to process the new piece of information.
'At least all the banter makes sense now…' he thought to himself with a disgruntled sigh.
The older teen looked over to see Doctor Fate send a menacing glance towards Danny.
'…and the looks.'
He glanced over at his friend and saw him staring off into the distance deep in thought.
The clone frowned as he thought about what his friend had said; 'but that's what they believe'. Since when did the Lords of Order decide who could exist and who couldn't? They never stopped the Chaos Lords from existing, so what if a ghost-
He blinked in surprise.
Since when did he consider Danny a different species?
Before his thoughts could continue, Conner heard footsteps approaching them. He looked towards the sound and grunted in disproval. He uncrossed his arms as the Team and Doctor Fate walked towards them.
"Let us get this over with," the deep voice of Doctor Fate echoed on the rooftop.
The older teen turned to see Danny uncross his arms and glare at the sorcerer. "For once I agree with you, the sooner I don't have to stare at your bucket for a head, the better."
"Danny, Doctor Fate has agreed to help us, the least you could do is be respectful," Zatanna sternly scolded.
Conner watched with a frown as the halfa let out a disgruntled sigh before closing his eyes and remaining silent and still.
Doctor Fate remained unreadable as he raised a hand towards the teen. A golden light surrounded his hand before a matching light surrounded the other like an aura. They remained that way for a few minutes, the rooftop silent except for Wally and M'gann shifting their weights while they waited anxiously.
After awhile, the golden light disappeared and Danny opened his eyes, an unreadable expression on his face as he looked up at the sorcerer.
The sorcerer, in turn, was unreadable as well, only a small nodding of the head to himself reassured the Team that he was not frozen in place.
"Did you find anything?" Kaldur asked cautiously.
"Perhaps…"
Danny rolled his eyes, "What's that supposed-"
"Mrofsnart otni tsohg flah motnahP."
The teen grunted as though the wind had been knocked out of him as the halfa's transformation rings washed over him as he transformed into Phantom. The ghost collapsed onto his knees, and seemed to be struggling to regain control of his breathing.
Conner took a protective step towards him, but was stopped by a simple hand motion from Fate.
Suddenly, a bright green ectoblast was blocked from hitting Doctor Fate's head by a glowing golden ankh, both disappearing almost as soon as they appeared.
A deep growl was heard and his attention turned back towards Phantom, who now had pupiless glowing green eyes and green energy surrounding his hands.
"What the hell, Nabu!?" The ghost exclaimed with shocked rage as he floated to a standing position.
Doctor Fate scoffed, "I do not need to explain myself to you, boy. I needed to check you're, ghost-half, as you've come to call it."
"Well you could've just asked!" The halfa snarled back.
"Ask you? Yes, because we both know how good you are at following orders. Speaking of which, do tell me, how do you plan on explaining your current predicament to our mutual friend?" the sorcerer sneered.
"How do you plan on explaining to him that you forced that outcome and put my mission at risk!? " Phantom retorted as his eyes and hands began to spark dangerously.
Zatanna stepped in between the two. "That's enough! Danny stand down! Doctor Fate, are you done looking over Phantom?"
The ghostly teen's eyes dimmed and the energy in his hands dissipated, as he let out a frustrated growl.
Fate looked between Zatanna and Phantom before raising a hand, and yet again, a golden light surrounded the halfa.
After a few minutes the light show stopped and the sorcerer took a step back and turned towards Zatanna and Kaldur.
"Whatever the Witch Boy had planned he wasn't able to complete the spell. Fortunately, he was barely even able to start it. The boy is fine for now, I dispelled what was there and could sense nothing else."
The team seemed to collectively release a sigh of relief.
While Kaldur and Zatanna thanked Fate, Conner went to consul his friend.
"Hey, are you alright?"
"If I'm being honest? No. I want to get out of here as soon as possible. I think I've had enough of the egotistical golden boy for one day." The halfa grumbled as he glared at the ground with crossed arms.
"Yeah… he's kind of a handful." The two turned to see Wally walking up to them.
Phantom raised an eyebrow to which the speedster waved off his confusion and continued. "I put on the helmet whenever we were here last time after- you know…"
The halfa nodded, understanding the hidden message.
"Anyways, after I put the helmet on and Doctor Fate did his thing, I had a hard time reasoning with the guy. If it weren't for Kent, I would never have been able to take the helmet off."
The white-haired teen nodded. "That's pretty much how our mission in old time Salem went. If it weren't for Kent, we never would have gotten anything done."
"This might not help much, but I think the reason Nabu is the way he is, is because he might have to deal with bigger problems all the time. I mean the guy is kind of a sorcerer supreme if you know what I mean," The speedster offered with a shrug.
Phantom raised an amused eyebrow. "This coming from the science guy who gives lectures to the ghost on why ghost don't exist?"
Kid crossed his arms. "Hey, I'm allowing a margin of error here okay? Besides have you been inside that thing? Even I could allow magic to slide on that one."
"Yeah well, supreme sorcerer or not, it doesn't give him the right to be a-"
"Alright time to leave! Everybody head back towards the elevator!"
Phantom scowled at Zatanna's approaching form.
The speedster patted his shoulder. "Dude I get that, but you just have to try to stay whelmed."
The ghost immediately started shaking his head. "Oh no, you and dick are not, about to get me butchering the English language too."
"Seems like someone isnt feeling the aster-"
The teen look appalled at Conner.
"Not you too!"
"There is no need for the elevator."
The Team went quiet as Fate summoned a door to the living room from before.
Everyone had made their way through the door, when Phantom's ghost sense went off, causing everyone to freeze in place.
"Phantom? I swear to whatever you believe in if that's a bad ghost-" Wally began to threat as he turned to the ghost boy, only to find him facing the opposite direction.
A glowing creature, about six to seven feet tall, stood by the entrance to the Living Room.
It resembled a large, muscular werewolf or anthropomorphic wolf, with large saber teeth and black fur. It also wore a worn green hooded-sweatshirt, and tattered green pants.
"Come now, friend! You're in the way!"
A glowing blue-skinned person squeezed from behind the large wolf creature and stumbled in front of the on-guard Team.
The ghost was more round around in his face and waist. He wore a silver chainmail shirt underneath a large black dragon-crested breastplate, with blue leggings and black gloves and boots. He also wore a helmet, face plate up, with a large black feather sticking out of the top. His eyes were a bright red, and his bushy mustache golden-blonde. An iron sword hung from his belt.
"Who are you and how did you enter the Tower of Fate!?" Aqualad demanded as the Team got into battle stances.
"Oh dear! Is this a bad time?"
