Chapter 38

Hunting Ground

French Airport.

A plane had just touched down, when the wheels opened, a figure jumped out.

"I'm coming for you" the figure said.

Paris.

Marinette was getting ready for the day.

"London", thought Marinette. "Should. Should I? Ugh". She then sat down in her chair as the other Kwamis came to her.

"What's the matter, Marinette?" Asked Xuppu.

"William's invited me to go with him and his father on a trip to London", answered Marinette. "But, I have duties as Ladybug. I can't just leave here".

"Maybe you can use the horse miraculous to teleport from London to here?" Suggested Roarr.

"That could work" sighed Marinette.

Palacio De Oro.

William was looking through the info he got on Alya's phone. Most of it was dumb shit, but there WAS some stuff that looked like either blackmail or shit he could use to his advantage.

"You serious about hoping Marinette would come to London with you?" Asked Scul.

"She's one of the few people in that class who I can tolerate" answered William.

"Why not Adrian as well?" Asked Scul.

"That's just ASKING for trouble" answered William.

"Hm, that makes sense", said Scul. "Plus, it's better than-HOLY SHIT!".

"What's the matter?" Asked William.

"Someone's. Coming" answered Scul.

"Who?" Asked William. Scul didn't answer, he just growled.

Meanwhile, Marinette returned from doing deliveries.

"Man, that was a rush", said Marinette as she climbed up her ladder. "I swear, that route is the mo-". She stopped when she saw what was in her room. It was a Chinese man wearing an ancient Chinese outfit.

"So", he said. "You're the one who's been keeping the Chinese Zodiac Box". Marinette quickly got into her room.

"Who are you?" She demanded.

"I, am Su-Hun", the man replied. "The Celestial Master of The Mother Box".

"Who?" Marinette asked, starting to get stressed out. Tiki then left Marinette's purse.

"Wang-Fu, he was not ready for such a responsibility like that", said Su-Hun. "And I am here to rectify that mistake". He then held up Miracle Box.

"Return to your box" demanded Su-Hun. But the Kwamis did nothing.

"I said, return to your box" repeated Su-Hun.

"We don't have to listen to you" said Trixx.

"I am the Celestial Guardian and you will do as I say" said Su-Hun. Marinette then saw the opportunity and kicked Su-Hun in between the legs, making him fall to the floor. The Kwamis then flew into Marinette's backpack.

"Tiki, Spots On!" Shouted Marinette. She turned into Ladybug and swung away. Su-Hun then got to his feet.

"That brat" he growled.

Ladybug was now running across the rooftops of Paris.

"I think we need help" said Ladybug.

"But who?", asked Ziggy. "We can't go back without Su-Hun catching us". Su-Hun then arrived.

"Hand over those Kwamis" demanded Su-Hun. A metal pole then struck him in the side of the head. He looked in that direction to see Chat Noir.

"Stay away from M'Lady" said Chat Noir. Su-Hun then grabbed the pole, flinging Chat Noir into Ladybug, sending them off the roof.

"So Fu gave two children Miraculous", said Su-Hun. "Another mistake".

"If he made 'so many mistakes'", said Chat Noir. "Then why didn't you take the miracle box from him?".

"Because I was trapped in that Senti-monster he made", answered Su-Hun. "He could never be a proper guardian. And it seems as though he repeated one of his greatest failures".

"What failure?" Asked Ladybug. Su-Hun frowned before pointing at Ladybug.

"Giving a child a Miraculous", answered Su-Hun. "Especially the Ladybug Mira-". Su-Han was interrupted when something ran into him, sending him into a wall. When he recomposed himself, he saw what it was, The Wendigo. Seeing this, made his eyes widen.

"The Wendigo" said Su-Han.

"You know of me?" The Wendigo asked.

"You weren't supposed to be made", answered Su-Hun. "And yet here you are, another sign of Wang-Fu's greatest failure".

"And who are you?" Asked The Wendigo.

"I am Su-Hun", answered Su-Hun. "I am the Celestial Master of The Mother Box". Hearing this, The Wendigo smiled.

"Then you should be pointing your finger at yourself", said The Wendigo. "After all, the failure of a student, is the failure of a teacher". Su-Hun then kicked him in the side of his head, cracking the skull helmet.

"That, actually hurt" growled The Wendigo. He then charged forward and tackled Su-Hun into a building. Su-Hun then tossed The Wendigo over his shoulder before The Wendigo gripped onto the ceiling's light and then kicked Su-Hun in the face.

"I should've sealed you the second you were made" said Su-Hun. The Wendigo then Su-Hun by the shoulder.

"You and everyone else" said The Wendigo. He then threw Su-Hun out a window before following him. The Wendigo then tried to tackle him, but Su-Hun made some symbols with his hands and shoved them forward creating an impact that sent the Wendigo flying, then skidding across the ground until he slammed into a wall. Su-Hun then approached him.

"Time to seal you away", said Su-Hun. "And this time, I'll make sure that you-". Ladybug then wrapped her yo-yo around Su-Hun's arm and pulled.

"I'm not gonna let you hurt him" said Ladybug.

"Yeah", agreed Chat Noir. "And if you want to hurt my friend, you gotta go through me".

"You don't know what you're doing", said Su-Hun. "That thing, is a danger to everyone. It shouldn't even be breathing".

"Well, thanks to him", said Ladybug. "A lot more people ARE breathing, especially sighs of reliefs".

"Not to mention", said Chat Noir. "The children ACTUALLY feel safe at night. Because they think the monsters under their bed, are scared of him".

"So, I'm only gonna say this one time, so you better listen", said Ladybug. "Stay away from our friend". Su-Hun growled.

"Of course you'd defend him", said Su-Hun. "After all, the artist protects her work".

"What are you talking about?" Asked Ladybug. Suddenly, red flames came from where the Wendigo was. The flames shifted and formed until the head of Scul was made.

"You. Are. A. HYPOCRITE!" Shouted Scul.

"Are you seeing what I'm seeing?" Asked Chat Noir.

"And, in some cases, you be right", said Scul. "Except, I know what I do is wrong, I revile in it and anything I create, I acknowledge that it was MY work. In other words, PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH!". The flames died down and The Wendigo then charged forward and stabbed Su-Hun in the eye. He then proceeded to slash at Su-Hun's body until he passed out.

"Now then", said The Wendigo as he pulled out his scythe. "It's time to-". Ladybug's yo-yo then wrapped around the scythe and pulled it out.

"What are you doing?" Asked Ladybug.

"Finishing him" answered The Wendigo.

"Then go ahead", said Ladybug. "Prove him right". Silence filled the air for a moment, The Wendigo then growled and raced off. Su-Hun then got to his feet.

"Seems that unlike Fu", said Su-Hun. "You have control over your mistakes. I admire that. Very well, I will give you one year to prove yourself. Do NOT disappoint". Su-Hun then left.

That night.

William was in his room and could see that Scul was uneasy.

"You seem to be on edge", said William. "What's the problem".

"A crazy man tried to seal me away, and you're asking if I'm fine?", asked Scul. "What do you think's the problem?".

"Look", said William. "If we need help in this fight, and getting help is usually revolved around friends. So, we need to use a little thing called 'trust'". Scul scowled at him.

"You're right", said Scul. "I think it's time Ladybug and I have a, chat. And I think you deserve to know about the others".

"Others?" Asked William.

"The Mythical Miraculous" answered Scul.
