Chapter 40 already? Didn't think I'd make it this far. But hey, I like this story. Right, enough with me talking. I also plan to do a seperate Halloween book, if the fact that I mentioned a Halloween Circus should've been a dead give away. Now then, leave a review, sit back, relax and enjoy the show.

Chapter 40

Rena Rage

Rebecca slammed her fist down on her alarm clock. She groaned as she woke up.

"Ugh, hangovers can be a bitch" groaned Rebecca as she entered her bathroom. As she was brushing her hair, her phone buzzed. She looked at it and saw that it was a message from Valerie, asking her if she could drop off his school bag. Rebecca agreed, she could use the exercise.

Later, Rebecca walked to William's school and then entered Madam Bustier's classroom, practically kicking the door down.

"Hey, William", said Rebecca. "Ya left your book bag at home". William then walked up to her and took the bag.

"Thanks Rebecca" said William.

"Nice to see you again, Rebecca" greeted Adrian.

"Nice to see you too, Adrian" said Rebecca.

"Uh, who are you?" Asked Madam Bustier.

"Hey, I know you", said Kim. "You're the girl who stopped me from rescuing Adrian".

"You call breaking into his room and dragging him out by his wrist a rescue?", asked Rebecca. "I'm pretty sure that's kidnapping, which is illegal, I might add".

"You didn't answer my question" said Madam Bustier.

"Oh, I'm Rebecca Cyse", answered Rebecca. "I'm a friend of the Bones family and Adrian Agreste".

"You can't be friend of Adrian", said Lila. "You're not famous".

"You don't need to be famous to be a friend", said Rebecca. "But, you wouldn't know, all you got are little sheep. Beeeeeeeeeh".

"We are not sheep" protested Alya.

"Yeah, you're sheep shit", said Rebecca. "And that says a lot. Hell, I could be a better journalist than you".

"Oh yeah?" Asked Alya.

"Lots of famous people come into the club I work at", answered Rebecca. "And you won't believe the stories we hear".

"Stories?". Rebecca then turned her attention to Marinette.

"Hmm, you familiar", said Rebecca. "Have I seen you before?".

"I'm Marinette Dupain-Cheng".

"Oh, NOW I remember", said Rebecca. "Adrian won't stop talking about you. Damn, you're way prettier then that Lila bitch. Why didn't Gabriel choose you? He'd be raking in the dough like autumn leaves". Marinette was now abashed at this.

"Well, I uh".

"So, Adrian", said Rebecca. "Ya jack off to her, or do you save that for Ladybug?". The room went silent, Marinette and Adrian's faces turned bright red.

"You don't need to be embarrassed", said Rebecca. "Lots of teenage boys do it".

"Uh, Rebecca", said William. "I, think you broke everyone".

"Not the worst thing to happen", said Rebecca. "Anyway, gotta go. See you around". She then left the classroom.

"You two okay?" Asked William. Marinette and Adrian then fell to the floor.

"I'll take that as a no" said William.

Later.

William was in the locker room when he saw Julika close her locker and leave. William walked over to her locker and opened it. There, was Julika's phone.

"Sorry, Luka", said William. "But, your sister needs to learn that her actions, will destroy her own life". He then plugged the Ghost Coder into Julika's phone". Unbeknownst to him, Sabrina was watching him.

Later.

William was in his room, looking through everything that she got from Julika's phone.

"Where did that goth bitch keep it?" William wondered. Then-.

"Bingo" said William. ALL the mean spirited messages that Julika had sent Marinette.

"You sure this won't compromise your relationship with Luka?" Asked Scul.

"I'm keeping these as a back up", answered William. "Once I get Marinette and Luka in the same room together, I'll convince Marinette to tell Luka the truth".

"But, what if she's too scared?" Asked Scul.

"She needs to" answered William.

The next day.

William was in a cafe getting some cake when he got, the feeling.

"Ugh, wonder who it is this time?" William groaned to himself. He looked to see Alya and Lila standing there.

"Oh look, dumb and dumber", said William. "What do you fuckheads want?".

"We're just here to talk" said Alya.

"That'll be a first" said William.

"We REALLY need the money for the end of term dance", said Alya. "So please, I am BEGGING you, can you donate some of your money to-".

"I ain't giving you shit", said William. "Money is given to people who've EARNED it. YOU have not. And you certainly should've thought twice before challenging a casino tycoon's son to a game of poker. And you got my dad AND the head maid Akumatized. So yeah, fuck off". He got up and walked away. Lila and Alya then followed him.

"Come on, Willy", said Lila. "Don't be like that. Look, if you want compensation, I can introduce you to a famous historian and-".

"I ain't listen to no crap that comes out of your mouth" said William.

"Please, Willy", begged Lila. "I can make it worth your-". The sound of flesh on flesh was heard as William's fist made contact with Lila's cheek, knocking her to the ground.

"My name, isn't, Willy" growled William.

"What the hell?" Asked Alya.

"Piss off" answered William.

"She was only bargaining with you" said Alya.

"Yeah, and it shows how pathetic she is" said William. "And even if I did give you the money, what would I get?".

"What do you mean?" Asked Alya.

"You'd get money, but what would I get?", asked William. "After all, you don't get something for nothing".

"Well", said Alya. "Maybe if you listened to Lila, she'd be able to-".

"I'm not interested in any false promises", said William. "Now, since it's YOUR fault you lost the money, why not raise it yourself?". He then walked away.

He soon arrived at Rebecca's place.

"Nice to see you made it" said Rebecca.

"That Lila bitch honestly makes me want to throw up some times" said William.

"Ugh, that bitch", groaned Rebecca. "She's the kind of girl that no one in the club likes, not even the douchebags. So, what did they bother you for?".

"They wanted money for their end of term dance" said William. He then looked threw his phone.

"That shit again", groaned Rebecca. "Why can't they just accept they screwed up?". After looking through his phone, William's eyes fell on a picture of Alix with her pocket watch.

'Is that what I think it is?' Scul mentally wondered from William's jacket.

Palacio de Oro.

"You think Alix has what?" Asked William.

"I think Alix has a miraculous" answered Scul.

"Then why didn't she use it?" Asked William.

"The Kwami isn't with her", answered Scul. "She can't transform without it". William was now in thought.

"She doesn't deserve it", said William. "Now, how should we play this out. Hmmmmmm, aha".

Cesaire residence.

Alya and her girl squad were at her apartment, when her phone rang.

"Hello" said Alya.

'Hello, Alya'.

"You" said Alya, catching the other girl's attention.

"Who is it?" Asked Rose.

"It's William" answered Alya.

"Put him on speaker" said Mylene. Alya then pressed a button and placed her phone on the table.

'You still there?'.

"What do you want?" Asked Alya.

'You said you wanted money, right? Well, I'd be happy to, engage in an exchange'.

"What's that mean?" Asked Alix.

'You give me something I want, you'll give something you want'. The girls looked at each other.

"What do you have in mind?" Asked Julika.

'I'll give you the money, if you give me Alix's pocket watch'.

"What?! No way!" Shouted Alix.

'I think it's rather fair. Consider it, compensation from you assault on me in the resort. If you accept, meet me in the park, and I will give you a check for the amount you want. And Alya, come alone, or the deal's off. I'll give you until the big hand hits twelve again, see ya'. William then hung up.

"He'll give us all the money for Alix's watch?" Asked Rose.

"What do we do?" Asked Mylene.

8 o'clock.

William was reading one of his 'magazines' when his phone buzzed. He looked at it and saw 'Deal. Just be there, 11 o'clock'. William smirked.

"Lock, stock, dumbass" said William.

The next day, Alya was at the park, Alix's watch in her hand. William then showed up.

"Do you have it?" Asked William. Alya held up Alix's watch. William then snatched it out of her hands.

"Exquisite", said William before handing Alya the check. "Enjoy". He then walked off and caught the bus. As he rode back, he smirked.

"That dumb bitch" said William.

Hawkmoth's lair.

"The feeling of betrayal. And it's quite strong too", said Hawkmoth before infecting a butterfly and sending it out. "Fly away, my little Akuma, and evilise her".

The Akuma then made it to Alya, who was sitting on the floor after finding out that the check bounced. The Akuma then flew into Alya's necklace and the outline of a butterfly appeared on her face.

"Rena Rage, I am Hawkmoth. Your heart is broken by the deceit of another, and I'm giving you the power to get your revenge. But in return, I must ask that you bring Ladybug and Chat Noir's miraculous".

"He will pay, Hawkmoth" said Alya.

Meanwhile, William was in a cafe with Marinette.

"Is there a reason why called me here?" Asked Marinette. William then placed Alix's watch on the table.

"Is that, Alix's watch?" Asked Marinette.

"Indeed it is", answered William. "And I have a theory that might seem true".

"What theories that?" Asked Marinette. William looked from side to side before leaning into Marinette's ear.

"I have a feeling that this is a miraculous" answered William. This came as a shock to Marinette.

"You really think so?" She asked.

"I'm pretty sure", answered William. "I plan to ask Ladybug when I next see her". The cafe door was then kicked down. In step a Rena Rouge look-a-like, except Orange was replaced by red and white by black.

"Ugh, not this bitch", said William. "That makes, how many times she's been Akumatized?".

"Hello, everyone", said the Akuma. "I am Rena Rage, the one true fox hero. But today, I have come here to punish a villain among you, who-". She was interrupted when a soda bottle struck her head. Rena Rage then looked to see William.

"If you're done with your self-entitled rant", said William. "Will you kindly fuck off?".

"You", said Rena Rage pointing to William. "You dare have the nerve to strike-".

William then hit her with a fork.

"You dare have the nerve to-".

William hit her with a plate.

"You dare have the-".

William hit her with a wine glass.

"QUIT IT!" Shouted Rena Rage. Her eyes then widened when she saw what was coming.

"Oh no" she said. She was then hit with a table.

"Come on", said William. "We gotta run". He then picked Marinette up, flung her over his shoulders and ran off. Rena Rage then freed herself and ran after him. She then played a song on her flute and a large hole appeared in front of William. But, he didn't stop. Instead, he just ran over it and it disappeared.

"Huh?" Wondered Marinette.

"She looks like she has the same powers as Sultry Vixen", said William. "Everything she puts in front of us, is as fake as her friendship with you".

"My friendship is not fake!" Shouted Rena Rage. William then ran into a clothing store. He then ran behind the counter and put Marinette on the floor.

"Stay here", said William. "Wait 20 minutes, if it looks clear, see if you can get Ladybug, Chat Noir or any of the other heroes, got it?".

"I'm not gonna leave you with her", said Marinette. "You're my-".

"It's me she wants", said William. "I'm not letting you get caught in the crossfire". William then ran out.

"Hey! Rena Rage!", shouted William. "You want me, I'm over here!".

"There you are" said Rena Rage. William then ran off as Rena Rage ran after him.

Meanwhile, Rebecca was walking down the streets with a cup of coffee in her hand.

"Ugh, I got an extra large and it's over so fast", said Rebecca. "Maybe I should switch to fraps". She then saw William running in her direction.

"Hey, William", said Rebecca. "What's going-".

"Can't talk. Running for my life. See ya" said William as he ran past her. Rebecca raised an eyebrow at what he said. She then saw Rena Rage run past her and it all made sense.

"Pst, hey. Rebecca". Rebecca looked to see Ladybug beckoning her to an alleyway.

Meanwhile.

William was still running from Rena Rage until he got to the market area.

"Oh shit, I'm trapped" said William. Rena Rage then walked closer him.

"Give me Alix's watch" demanded Rena Rage.

"Fuck no" said William. Rena Rage then tackled William to the ground and tried to press her flute against his neck.

"Give it to me!" Demanded Rena Rage.

"What?", groaned William. "You mad because you got your hopes up too soon? HA! Guess you'll know what it's like when Lila finally let's you down".

"She's not a liar!" Shouted Rena Rage.

"Yo, Rena!". Rena looked to see Sultry Vixen standing there.

"What are you doing here?" Asked Rena Rage.

"Stopping you" answered Sultry Vixen. Rena Rage then laughed.

"You can try", said Rena Rage. "But, I-".

"If you're gonna say 'oh, I'm better than you and all that crap'", said Sultry Vixen. "Then why hasn't Ladybug chosen you to fight Pharaoh. Could it be she doesn't trust you?".

"No no no no", said Rena Rage. "I'm a good hero, it's all Chloe's fault. If she hadn't exposed our-".

"I'm talking about LONG before Miracle Queen", said Sultry Vixen. "From what I heard, you're not the best person to have as a friend".

"I'm a great friend" said Rena Rage.

"No", said Sultry Vixen. "You're a bad friend and a worse hero".

"And you think you're any better?", asked Rena Rage. "Ladybug must've been running out of time if she gave the fox to a knock off". Sultry Vixen then smirked.

"Oh, I'm not a knock off", said Sultry Vixen. "Ladybug simply upgraded to a better model". Rena Rage then tackled Sultry Vixen. But Sultry Vixen then smashed her arms on Rena Rage's back. The two were now pulling at each other's hair until Sultry Vixen kicked Rena Rage in the stomach before punching her across the face. Rena Rage then tried to strangle Sultry Vixen, but Ladybug pulled Rena Rage off her by her hair. Chat Noir then swung his staff at Rena Rage, knocking her in the head. Rena Rage was about to play her flute when Ladybug shoved a Ladybug coloured cork in the hole. Rena Rage couldn't play her music. Sultry Vixen then used her legs to fling Rena Rage and she was then knocked out. Sultry Vixen then grabbed the fake miraculous and snapped it, causing the Akuma to fly out.

"No more evil doing for you, little Akuma", said Ladybug before spinning her yo-yo. "Time to de-evilise". She then swung her yo-yo and it caught the Akuma.

"Gotcha", said Ladybug before opening the Yo-yo and releasing the now purified Akuma. "Bye-bye, little butterfly".

She then threw the glue cork in the air. "Miraculous! Ladybug!". Swarms of Ladybugs then fixed all the damages. Rena Rage then turned back into Alya.

"Pound it!" The three heroes said fist pumping. William then got out of hiding.

"Hey, Ladybug", said William. "I got a question for you".

"Ask away" said Ladybug.

"You think this might be a miraculous?" William asked, handing Ladybug the watch. Ladybug then took it and looked at it. Her yo-yo and the watch then glowed.

"It, it is", answered Ladybug. "But, where did you get this from?".

"I had to swindle it out of someone" answered William.

"Yeah, my friend". William looked to see Alya getting up.

"Oh, you're still here" mocked William.

"You cheated us out of Alix's watch" said Alya.

"It never belonged to her", said William. "It belongs to the guardian. And Ladybug's the guardian, I was just merely returning stolen property".

"That is not stolen", said Alya. "And you gave us a fake check. Now we'll never have our dance".

"It was for the greater good" said William.

"You call swindling my friend out of her family heirloom watch 'the Greater Good'?", asked Alya. "And what the hell, Ladybug? Why'd you give my miraculous to a slutty knock off".

"It ain't your miraculous" said William.

"And who are you calling Slutty?", demanded Sultry Vixen. "I'm a stripper, not a hooker".

"Like there's a difference" said Alya.

"Then there's no difference between a journalist and a tabloid writer" mocked Sultry Vixen.

"There is too" said Alya.

"ENOUGH!" Shouted Ladybug. All eyes then fell on her.

"I will not have my fellow heroes spoken to like that", said Ladybug. "Sultry Vixen is permanent. William, while I do thank you for your efforts in recovering a missing miraculous, I don't approve of the method you used".

"Ugh, no promises" said William.

"But but but", said Alya. "What about Rena Rouge? You can't just let this knock off take my place". Ladybug only scowled.

"I simply upgraded to a better model" said Ladybug. She, Chat Noir and Sultry Vixen then left. William just walked away with a Cheshire grin on his face.

That night, William was out for a jog with Rebecca when they saw Alix. So, they hid behind a corner.

"Where's she going?" Wondered William. Rebecca saw the sign on the store Alix went in, it said 'Scanty Sanctuary'.

"That, that's the store where me and the girls get our themed costumes" said Rebecca.

"Then, what's say you and I have a look?" Suggested William. Rebecca then smirked.

The two then walked in and saw Alix heading to the display room.

"Why's she going in there?", wondered Rebecca. "That's people change. But, why would she go in there?".

"Let's find out" said William the two then sneaked over into the display room and when they saw Alix, their eyes widened. Alix was now wearing an outfit similar to the hero Bunnyx, but it was reduced to arm length gloves, thigh high high heel boots, a thong with a rabbit tail and a tiny triangle bikini top.

"Oh my" whispered Rebecca.

"Is, is this even legal?" Asked William. They heard Alix say things like 'you wanna see my cotton tail wiggle?', 'you like this bunny bitch?'.

William then got an idea. He took out his phone.

'Smile for the camera, Alix' William thought.

Later on, William was on his phone, looking at the pictures he took, from Alix posing, to Alix paying at the register, to Alix sneaking out of the store.

"Looks like we got this little bunny in a trap" said William.
