"Was the former noble that bad?" Angara asked.
"Let's just say that she loves the finer things in life. There are a few things I would like you to know before we get to your palace." Said Tobin.
"Ok, tell me." Said Angara.
Tobin then started explaining what the former Noble was like, especially when she didn't get her way. The more Angara heard about the former Noble, the more she didn't like the woman. Tobin; a few hours later, had noticed that it was getting late, and it was time to set up camp. As the guards were setting up the tents, Tobin was piling up some wood.
"Are you making a fire?" Angara asked.
"Yes, two of the guards went to do some hunting, and I want to have this ready for them when they get back." Said Tobin.
"Can you teach me how to do that too?" Angara asked.
"You don't have to know how this, you're the Noble." Said Tobin.
"What kind of excuse is that? I want to learn, so that should be good enough." Said Angara.
A shocked silence came over the group. At that moment Angara said that the two guards should be coming soon, and that got Tobin to smile. He then told Angara to come over by him. Angara then walked around to Tobin's side, and got down next to him. He then started to explain what was needed to make a good fire, and how to arrange it. Before long the fire was started, and it was hot enough to start cooking. Just then the two guards came back with a deer. They got it over the fire, and another guard was starting to prepare other things to go with it.
It was about an hour in a half when the meat was ready. Tobin asked the guard cutting the meat, to make a plate for Lady Angara first, so that she could get some sleep. The guard looked, and seen that their lady was starting to doze. The guard cut some meat, then put a couple of other things on the plate, and gave it to Tobin. Tobin then walked over to Angara, and gave her the plate of food.
"Thank you, Tobin." Said Angara.
"You're welcome, my lady." Said Tobin.
Angara ate quickly, and when she was finished, she gave her plate to a guard that was collecting them. She drank the last of her water, and then went to her tent. Another hour went by, and Tobin went to check on Lady Angara. He walked up to her tent, and peaked inside; he seen that she was in the cot, fast asleep.
When sunrise came, Angara woke, and sat up in the cot. Once she was awake enough, she got up, and went to see what they were making for breakfast. When she came out of the tent; she saw that Tobin and he turned around. He turned back long enough to dismiss them, and then he went over to Angara.
"Morning, My lady. Breakfast will soon be ready." Said Tobin.
"Thank you." Said Angara as she went to have a seat.
Tobin went to go get her something to eat. Within two hours; everyone was fed, camp was packed up, campfire was out, and they were back on their way to the North palace. As they went down a path, they came to a village.
"Why is everyone staring at me?" Angara asked.
"They were told when we went to get you, that we were on our way to get the new Noble of the North. They most likely wanted to see what you look like." Said Tobin.
Just then a cat walked up, and bowed. When he straitened, he looked into Tobin's eyes first, and then when was given a slight nod of ok; the cat looked into Angara's eyes.
"Hello, I am Shiro; I am the village leader. The villagers and I wanted to greet the new Noble of the North. We also want to present you with a gift." Said Shiro.
He then handed her a butterfly figure. Angara took it, and looked at it very closely. Shiro then seen a big smile come over her face.
"It's very beautiful, thank you." Said Angara.
"You are welcome. The entire village came together to have it made." Said Shiro.
"We have to be going, my lady." Said Tobin.
