Once the food was served, they began eating. Soon Angara interrupted the silence with a question.
"Lady Mia, I was wondering how the arrangements were going for you to return to your home village?" Angara asked.
"I didn't think I had to leave my palace." Said Mia.
"This is my palace now. I would like to be able to move about my palace without someone spying on me." Said Angara.
"I wouldn't do that." Said Mia.
"I may only be six, but I know when someone lies to me." Said Angara.
Angara then got up, and left to go back to her office. Mia was mad; she didn't want to leave. She had a good thing going, and she wasn't going to let some little girl ruin it.
Four Months Later. . . .
Mia was almost done putting the final touches on her plan to get rid of the little fool she chose. Tobin could tell something was going on. He knew something was going to happen; with all the changes that Lady Angara was making. Those changes were changing the kingdom in a good way, but there were some that didn't like the changes.
Tobin went to Lady Angara's office looking to ask her a question. When he knocked on the door; no one replied. He knocked again, thinking that she didn't hear the first knock. He was reaching for the doorknob, when someone called his name.
"Tobin, I'm afraid Lady Angara isn't in her office. Since I needed time to get the rest of the papers in order, and since it was close to the time for lunch. She took some time to spend in the garden she claimed for herself." Said Garrett.
"Thank you." Said Tobin.
Tobin then headed towards the garden. As he was coming down the path to the entrance, he seen two guards walking inside the garden. He broke into a run, and as he got to the entrance; he seen the two guards begin to pull out their swords.
"Lady Angara run, and hide." Shouted Tobin.
Angara looked, and seen two guards turning back to her. As the one closest to her raised his sword, she got up, and went to hide behind a bush. About a minute later, she heard swords clanging, and one make a sound; like he was punched in the gut. Angara pulled down some branches, she seen the other come up from behind Tobin, and plunge their sword into Tobin's back. Tobin put the tip of the sword down to brace himself. The guard seen his friend dead in a pool of his own blood. Tobin then turned his head to look at the guardsmen.
Tobin warned him to run as far as he could. Tobin's knees then gave way, and he fell off the guard's sword. The guardsmen then dropped his sword, and ran. Angara came out of hiding, and went to Tobin.
"Tobin wake up, you have to wake up." Said Angara as she got down by his head.
Tobin opened his eyes, and looked at Angara.
